Introduction

WELCOME TO GOLARION!

Setting

In this adventure, you will be an adventurer of any race (within reason) and class of your choosing. Want to be a rogue? No problem. A two-handed fighter? Cliche but still, no problem. A demon king? Problem. Golarion is a world full of variety, from the pirate-run islands of The Shackles, a chain of islands home to the Hurricane King, where he searches for new nobles to join his court, to the wind swept dunes of Katapesh, where black markets thrives and men become rich. This time period is that of emerging guns, where black powder and iron reign. Magic is an option of course, rather you gain this power through study, some innate ability, or the favor of a deity.

What you should expect and what I expect from you

If you are considering this roleplay, you should expect it to be fairly simple, focusing more on RP than the combat scenes. If you like combat, don't worry, we'll have that as well. This is a player driven RP and I will step back and set you into this world, suggestions of where to adventure, such as the Shackles and Katapesh, will be made based on the kind of adventure you are looking for. I have GM'd several adventures of both Pathfinder and D&D in real life, so I know the world, the races, the classes, and such fairly well and will answer any and all questions as needed.

What I expect from you is simple. Make a character. Not a cliche, not some gimmick, a real character. If they character you want to play is somewhat cliche, like a two handed fighter, that's fine, you can do that. What I'm asking for is personality and background. Your characters background should influence why you began adventuring and your skills. For example, say your the son of a noble and you were suddenly disinherited so you stole the family great sword. Being groomed for becoming a noble you would likely be good with diplomacy, and have knowledge of kingdoms and nobility. See? Two handed fighter with a background that influences who that character is. You could rp this by your character speaking more eloquently or coming across with a sense of entitlement.

The Character Sheet

Now, you don't need to write a book, and most of this is simple. Physical description and Personality should give us a good idea of your character and how the generally act. History should include why your character started adventuring. Pics for your character are not necessary but are appreciated. I will be putting up a character shortly, use him for a reference if you find one necessary. Also, if further reference and ideas are needed please look at any other accepted characters or message me.

Morris enters the bar, dragging behind him the corpse of an ex-barbarian. "God. damn it." the poor undead struggles to drag his mark into the bar while keeping the door open. After struggling for a while, and noticing a belt was hooked to a plank, he managed to bring the mark to the bar-keep for his reward.

"Alright, this guy's... meat-cleaver? clipper? fucked if i know, this guy had a bounty." Morris hands the clerk the wanted poster.
"Here's the guy" Morris drops the corpse and points at it with his hand "So, the bounty" Morris extends his hand to the bar-keep, who looks at him rather perplexed.

A Very loud Popping noise followed by some faint whistling could be heard from inside the bar. The sound Echoed loudly enough to be heard through the entire town fairly clearly. Soon after the whistling began a bright white flare ignited the sky and streaked over the town towards the nearby woods. The light descended behind the treeline and flashed brightly with the obvious noise that whatever it was, Had crashed in the center of the forest.

"Uh... yeah, have 25 pieces of copper... leave the body at the back" the bar-keep hands Morris his money and he starts dragging the mark away.
"Thanks for the money, easy work."

After dragging the mark into the nearby woods, Morris is startled by a loud sound coming from deep within.
"Well, not doing anything relevant anymore... maybe it's an airship, heard those have alot of money on 'em."
Morris moves towards the point he heard the sound coming from. Not willing to test his luck, he crouches and moves close to the ground. The dark colors of his armor serving as cammouflage to prevent being spotted.

After a long time of prowling in a general direction, he sees what must have been the cause of the sound.
A young-looking girl. He quickly stands up and jumps at her.

"Hmm... Seems sort of alive... Maybe she's edible... naw, people pay alot for slaves, and this will serve as a good one..."
Morris pokes her with his feet a few times.
"Yep, full on unconscious."
Morris draws out one of his swords from his back and keeps poking at the girl. Mostly at her now ragged robes, trying to see if she has any valuables. As well as inspecting her her body for damages. Hopefully, providing more than "Sexy rags"
"Well... she's certainly not a princess."
Morris grabs her and turns her on her stomach, facing to a side. On closer look, her rags are bloodied and has openings on her back. She has bloody stubs in these openings... She had wings?
"Naw... An Aasimar? is it? fresh from the oven too... Boy, these things fetch a high-price on the slave markets."

Morris continues inspecting her for valuables, while checking every few seconds to see if she's awake. Looks like she hit herself hard, nary a sound comes from her.

"Well, no valuables. Only bloody rags. Aasimar. Looks like i hit the jackpot for poverty. Fuck me..."

Arkus Clan-Killer

Arkus had made a name for himself as a mercenary, and not just any mercenary. To his clientele he was one of the best caravan guards in the continent of Garund, having knowledge of the land, how to make both healing potions as well as debilitating poisons, his mysterious connection with the Black Thorns, and his own physical might. Most frequently he was hired to give merchants who were traveling through the Gray Forest protection against the manner of things that dwell within. In the past the primary concern would have been the now destroyed Black Thorn tribe, however; with a power void comes a power struggle. Smaller orc clans, goblins, hobgoblins, and even troglodytes were competing for who would take the dominant role and with it, the best plunder.

The mountain of an orc, who had until now been content with quietly sitting in the corner of the tavern, rose to his feet upon hearing the popping and the whistling. Grabbing his iconic weapon, Blood Lust, as well as his crossbow, and paying for his drinks, he left to investigate. What he found was... interesting to say the least. In the middle of the small crater was a rather small woman and a man who was talking to himself. Harvesting his powerful voice, he called out to the man.

"What is the meaning of this?"

her eyes squint after a moment and a groan escapes her lips before she mutters something incomprehensible.

"ughh..." Her groan turns into a scream as she suddenly comes to consciousness. Her bright amber eyes open wide as she attempts to flip herself over, putting pressure on her right leg and she screams once more in pain.

"Who.. who are you?" she asks as she calms down enough to look up at the figure standing above her as if he was just another person, Unafraid. She succeeds in sitting up now but her chest is still heaving and her robes reveal a bit of the flesh of her chest though she doesn't seem to notice.

"Well, screaming beauty, glad to know you'll make yourself useful now. My name's Morris Aberrigan, usually called "ShallowGrave" since i tend to just not die. I'm what people consider a rogue. What's your name, darling?"

"Akira..." She looks around for a moment before realizing that something is very wrong as she places her hands on either side of her. "What?! Where?!" she scrambles to her good leg and turns like a dog attempting to chase his tail before falling to her ass again. "Where are they?" She then looks to Morris, her eyes suddenly demanding. "What did you do?!"

"Well, if you HAVE to know. Today i wandered around the town looking for something to do for money. Got bored of picking pockets and went into the bar, hoped for a bar brawl. Nothing happened, so i went to check the bounty board, turns out there was a guy around here that's really fuckin' annoying, a barbarian. So i took the bounty, tracked the barbarian, and chopped his arms off before stabbing him straight trough his stupid heart. And i dragged the corpse back to the bar for my reward. Oh and while trying to get rid of the corpse, i heard a loud as hell noise, saw some bright lights, and there you were. On the ground. Knocked out cold. And without money. Oh and you seem to have lost your wings, no idea about that one... You only wanted to know about your wings, didn't you?"

She blinked for a moment while she listened and took in his short story. "You steal from people? Why?" a frown came across her face as she apparently only got that from his response.

"What the hell do you mean by "why"? because i'm poor as fuck. I can hardly get enough money to repair my armor and weapons. Also, i tend to enjoy chugging on rum bottles. It's a rogue thing, you'll understand when you get older."

She perks an eyebrow. "I mean why do you have to? You seem fairly capable to me..." she cuts off as she looks over her shoulder again. "Gods damned..."

Far out in the calm blue sea stood two ships. Held together via hooked ropes after a boarding. One of these ships was a rather large Brig, equipped with three sails (Not including the front side sail), a nameplace could be seen at the front of the ship, 'Seishaw' is what was read. The other was a smaller schooner-like ship, holding two sails and floating in a highly damaged state. A boarding had just finished, the cheering left aside for work to occur as barrels and boxes of supplies were hauled over into the Seishaw.

"Well, well, well, if it isn't Captain Schwab..." Spoke a strange voice, it seemed to be full of happiness and excitement, along with resentment. The source of the voice was walking towards a single man who was tied up against the main mast, dressed in blue military uniform with a commodore's hat.
"Is that you, 56?" Captain Schwab replied as he slowly raised his head, seeing the formally dressed captain, who was wearing his mask of course. Made of black leather and only showing his only red eye, with the mouth area holding a print of a teethed mouth. The red eye was wide with either excitement, or anger, or maybe even psychosis.
"Bitch it might be!" 56 giggled as he crouched down, resting one arm on his knee. His unbuttoned sleeveless jacket opened a little to show off the flintlock pistols which was worn underneath.
"What happened to Greyshackles? Did he finally promote you?"
"Hmmm..." 56 looked up to the clear blue sky for a moment, his eye then quickly darted down to look at the Captain. "Who knows?"
Schwab gave off a pathetic laughter, as if he were giving up, "So you managed to kill him, you crazy bastard... What do you want?"
56 moved his head to stare at Schwab right in the eye, "Supplies, and your lovely large masts, maybe even the deckwood..."
Schwab's eyes opened wide, "What? No! You can't take my ship apart!"
"You lost, so you pay the penalty. Don't worry, I only want wood that's not too wet and intact, so only the deckwood would be taken. Your ship will still sail, wherever the current would take you." 56 stood up and called out loud; "Take the masts and the deckwood!"
"Wait wait wait wait wait! I can help you! Y'know about what Greyshackles was searching for?"
56's head slowly turned to face Schwab yet again, "Of course, it's what I'm going for."
"Well, I know the general location. I can tell you! As long as you don't rip my ship apart!" Schwab was getting desperate.
"'kay, deal. Now tell me." 56 replied, his voice full of happiness and curiosity.
"Isger, go there. It's somewhere around there."
"Is that it!?" He shouted, annoyed with the idea of hunting around yet another place for ages. "Can't you narrow it down to an even more general area?"
"No, that's all I know..."
BANG! 56 quickly pulled out one of his flintlock pistols and shot the man in the head. "Continue..." He gave the order for the crew to continue ripping the boat apart and stocking up.

Finally with a location to travel to, along with a large amount of supplies, Patraeko's story will finally begin. Not just this search, but other treasures await. Large riches to be found, and great risks to be done.
But, for now, upgrades and recruitment needs to take place. So the Seishaw will head off to the Garund mainland, ready to trade, purchase and recruit...

Morris is startled by the voice of the orc coming from behind him and turns around to see who it is. He looks rather surprised.

"Hmmm... Don't i know ya? orc, a few bottles hangin' round your waist. You're Arkus, aren't you? a guard-for-hire for the caravaneers. Heard some things about you, included the small... Incident, where you survived an assault from a dragon on your tribe. Only survivor."
Morris leans in closer to Arkus and whispers to him "I've seen my share of alchemists, and i believe that's not what happened..."
He moves back again
"But whatever. You want the meaning of this? i came here because i saw something shiny and it crash-landed here while i was taking out a corpse from the bar, you probably saw me. And it turns out, this girl is the shiny thing that crash-landed here. So that's pretty much it.
She's an Aasimar, go nuts asking stuff to her. I'll stick around in case bad things happens."

Morris moves away to let Arkus see the girl, and sits at the foot of a tree.

"Oh and i'm Morris. Morris "ShallowGrave" Aberrigan, ex-gladiator and rogue. Pleasure to meet you, orc. Hahaha..."

Arkus nods in confirmation of the strangers question. It wasn't extremely odd for people to have heard of him, he was well know around the Grey Forest. And how many 7' tall orcs could there really be? Especially alchemist. His eyes narrowed at what the man had implied. Most people had accepted that what had happen was in fact a dragon attack. In fact, most of the locals were happy the Black Thorns were gone, one way or another. He reached up and gently grasped the vial around his neck.

"Do not presume to know such things."

The man sat down against a tree, leaving Argus to check on the girl, it was possible he could heal some of the damage.
"You know, for falling out of the sky, you look much better than one would expect. Although I'm guessing you can't walk... Do you want me to take you to the tavern?"

About a week had passed since the last battle, bringing the story to the present. The Seishaw had docked up in port with a large amount of upgrades added to it, this includes a reinforced hull, an extra mast, and the addition of a ram and front facing cannons. Being the end of the month, the crew had been granted their pay and allowed a day off. Bringing Patraeko to enter this tavern, along with his right had man, 'Bigman'. Patraeko was wearing his normal formal clothing, with his waistcoat covering all flintlock pistols and his sword being held by Bigman, under his long trenchcoat. This time, Patraeko wasn't wearing his mask, but had it closeby in his satchel, just in case. He had no need to wear his mask, for all the normal people know, he's Patraeko Payemyndii, a well dressed commoner. Even his enemies wouldn't recognise him due to his change in clothing and the addition of his mask when in battle, as Captain 56.

The two reached the bar; sitting on the barstools, Patraeko made his order. "Hey, two bottles of rum." He placed the right amount of coins on the counter for the Barman to take after placing the bottles on the counter. "Thanks."

"So, Sir. About the fountain, why do you need it? I mean, your Shadonian. Don't Shadonians have an infinite lifespan?" Bigman questioned, attempting to make a conversation.
"No, no. Haven't you heard of our tradition? It's not really a tradition though; On a Shadonian's 21st birthday, they don't celebrate turning 21. They celebrate surviving that day. Why? Because there is some strange curse-like thing in our body, where there is a 50% chance of simply dropping dead for no reason on the 21st birthday. If you're lucky, then the body stops ageing completely and then lives with an unlimited lifespan." Patraeko explained, taking a sip of his rum after every sentence.
"Sooo... that doesn't answer.."
"Basically, I don't want the risk. I want a 100% chance of living. That's all."
"Ah, I get it now!" Bigman slapped his fist down onto his palm while giving an agreeing nod.
"Good good... We're setting off tomorrow to Isger. If I knew where it was..." Patraeko turned to the barman, calling him over with a whistle, "Hey, do you know where Isger is?"
"Ah... That's o'er... Uhm... Northeast from 'ere. It's not far inland, bu' I doubt a boat would get you there." The barman replied, confused as to why he was asked.
"Thanks! That's enough information!" Patraeko placed a coin in the barman's mouth as a little tip. "Yer a good help, buddy." He tapped the barman's face a little before dismissing him.

"We will head off tomorrow, Bigman."
"Yes sir."

Three Weeks Ago, A Crypt in the Thuvian Mountains

Ashes drifted from the top of the dias, swirling in the faint breeze. The remains of a human lie stretched out upon the stone, draped in rusty chains. This was the fourth temple that the ritual had been performed at, and the fourth time that the ritual had failed. The charred skeleton resting on the upraised platform that dominated the stony cavern stared accusingly at the only two living occupants of the room. Neth heaved a melodramatic sigh, drawing a grunt of annoyance from his companion.

“Wizard.” Neth winced at the half-orc's use of the word, for it meant she was annoyed. Granted, that was most of the time, but Neth did find he enjoyed the few instances in which she addressed him by name. He looked at the burly woman, who continued speaking having grabbed Neth's attention. “You said that it would work this time.”

“Well, Brekka, I did say that but--”

“You also said that the last three times we ventured down into one of these labyrinthine tombs.” Brekka's voice grew louder with each word, and Neth had to remind himself that the mercenary would keep herself in check. Still, it was hard not to draw on what spells he had left in reserve.

“Brekka, i'm sorry.” the dark-skinned mage gingerly rubbed the back of his head. Brekka's visage soften, seeing the sincerity of Neth's words. Neth took advantage of her fondness of him and pointed at the scorch-marks surrounding the skeleton. “I'm sorry, but we have one more tomb to plunder--wait! Before you yell at me again, let me present my case!

“The first crypt's ritual ended with the guardian being encrusted in roots. Where was the next tomb with a wight-lord? An overrun crypt in Mwangi, that's where! The crypt's guardian reacted to the ritual by melting into a patter of rain, and the next tomb we found that contained a wight-lord was in--”

“The Sodden Lands.” Brekka muttered under her breath, cursing as she realized what it all meant. “So the next wight-lord will be somewhere in...?”

Neth stared at the burnt remains. “Chains...and flame. Traps and heat. Security and summer.” his eyes widened as the answer came to him in a burst of inspiration. “Hells and servitude. Brekka...

“Our next mark is in Cheliax's vassal-nation: Isger.”

Present Day

A crude amalgam of watered-down alcohol, hops, and some sort of local fruit swirled in the squat glass Neth held in his hands. The spellcaster was more than a little upset. In the trek back to civilized lands, an owlbear had landed a brutal strike that broke Brekka's leg. The local priest said it would be a month at least before she was able to travel again, even longer before she could fight. She told Neth to continue on and she would meet him in Cheliax with the ritual completed and their futures secured.

Catching the tail-end of Patraeko's conversation, Neth nearly guffawed.

“S'cuse me, good saer.” Neth hopped over to a bar stool closer to the one-eyed boy and the hulking man. “But I wouldn't rely on the information provided by a backwater barkeep if I were you.

Neth deftly withdrew a map from his satchel and unfurled the colorful parchment. And pointed towards the southern continent of the two presented.

“We're here, in Garund. And Isger is...” Neth trailed a finger to the north, past an expanse of water and to the southern part of the northern continent. “Here. It lies on the northeastern tip of Cheliax, across the sea.”

Neth shot the pair and inquisitive stare. “Forgive me for prying, but aren't you two seamen? If...if you're heading there anyway, would you mind allowing me passage on your ship? I don't have much left in the way of funds, but I can certainly work my wages during the trip.” as an afterthought, he hastily added: “And after I'm done with my business in the tomb, I can pay you with whatever treasures I unearth.

“So...” the mage extended his hand towards Patraeko, “Would you grant Neth Ruvathi of Rahadhoum safe passage to Cheliax?”

The two Pirates were holding a casual conversation, talking about some of the crewmen on the ship and some sights they had seen in their travels. But then, some random dark skinned being appeared, takling strangely.

“S'cuse me, good saer.” Neth hopped over to a bar stool closer to the one-eyed boy and the hulking man. “But I wouldn't rely on the information provided by a backwater barkeep if I were you."
Patraeko replied with the raise of an eyebrow above the eyepatch as he slowly turned his body to the person, "As long as I have a general idea, I'll do it." He replied as the man pulled out a map and placed it on the bar, pointing out a route and explaining the places;
“We're here, in Garund. And Isger is...” Neth trailed a finger to the north, past an expanse of water and to the southern part of the northern continent. “Here. It lies on the northeastern tip of Cheliax, across the sea.”
Patraeko was watching intently, nodding his head slightly after some important words in agreement, he was holding his hand on his stubbed chin as he thought some random stuff while the an continued;

Patraeko opened his eye and raised his head, bringing his bright red, psychotic gaze into the man's own eyes. "Aye, we are... 'seamen'... And we are heading towards Isger, just on a little quest or something." He smiled a little, listening more to the man's words. "I don't usually allow people on my vessel unless they are part of my crew. If you want to hitch a ride, it's either become part of my crew, or pay the wages and stay below deck." Patraeko explained, he can't allow this man to learn of Patraeko's true person, if the ship were to get into a brawl, Patraeko would have to change into his battle clothing and wear his mask. He can't really do that when an outsider is watching.
"Wait... Tomb? Treasures? I'm interested in this already. I might have to make it a side quest as I need to learn more information on my goal. Maybe you could help me? An eye for an ey-" Patraeko paused, remembering that this saying was used literally in his past. "Anyway, I can help you. Just remember the two choices I've given... Neth."
He held his hand out to shake hands, "Payemyndii, Patraeko Payemyndii. This guy is my right hand man, Bigman."

Join the crew or pay and stay below deck? Despite the twinge of elation at having found a quick path to Cheliax, Neth found himself somewhat distressed by the odd decision before him. This Patraeko, the apparent captain of the vessel, was an unorthodox person to say the least. Why not just allow passengers? What kind of ship was he running here?

“I...suppose that I can stay below decks for the duration of the journey.” not seeing the ocean while on a sea-faring vessel would be a shame, but Neth would endure if it meant he could see the end of the ritual. With more conviction steeling his heart now, the mage nodded. “As long as I can heave overboard in the case of sea-sickness, these parameters are acceptable.”

At the mention of a quest, Neth's eyes lit with excitement.

“A quest? For magic? Power? Wealth?” suddenly pensive, the wizard stared at Patraeko over steepled fingers. “Maybe our paths are not mutually exclusive. Maybe the two intertwine. Magic is woven into the very fabric of our reality, making coincidence a very unlikely circumstance.” he smirked. “Hells, the odds of my own travel being delayed by a beast attack so that I would end up four days behind scheudle--here, at the very same bar as you, just in time to overhear and correct your supposed expedition to Isger...it's...

“Well, the odds are astronomical to say the least.” Neth waved a hand dismissively before rummaging through his satchel. After a few moments of muttered curses and the sound of clinking metal and crinkling parchment, Neth withdrew an ornate silver ring engraved with golden feathers.

“The majority of the loot from my last venture has already been used to pay off my expenses or sent back home, but I did manage to keep this.” the ring was set onto the counter by Patraeko's hand. “I've identified it as an item displaying the properties of both a Feather Fall spell and a Lightness spell. It'll save you from any sort of dangerous drop, and prevent your from sinking in water.

“It's easily worth my weight in gold. Hopefully that will be enough to secure passage with your ship, saer Payemyndii.” Neth shrugged. “If not, we can always bargain the remainder of my debt on the Chelaxian mainland.”

Neth flashed a winning smile.

“Nice to meet you, captain Payemyndii. And you as well, Bigman. I have a feeling we shall become quite invaluable to one another in the days to come.”

“I...suppose that I can stay below decks for the duration of the journey.” Neth replied, he didn't seem too happy with this rule... But, Patraeko can't afford to have his identity as Captain 56 discovered by some random dark skinned man who wanted to find some treasure. “As long as I can heave overboard in the case of sea-sickness, these parameters are acceptable.”

Patraeko gave off yet another sigh, there was a good deal he could give this man; "Alright alright, I'll let you stay in the Captain's quarters. There're windows where you can throw up into the waters. Just make sure you stay there and fight the urge to mess with my stuff." His eye narrowed, "If you do manage to mess with my stuff, I'm afraid a forced recruitment will have to take place. But don't worry, my crew are greatful and are happy to have me as their captain."
Patraeko motioned to Bigman, signalling him to head off and inform the crew of the hitch hiker. Gotta make the ship seem less... Pirate.

“A quest? For magic?

“Well, the odds are astronomical to say the least.”

"I don't believe in that shit..." Patraeko replied, annoyed, "Well, I know and acknowledge it's existence. I just hate it. Being Shadonian and all, it's understandable, I guess..." He looked away, his red eye staring at the satchel in which Neth was rummaging through. He seemed to be looking for something... It wasn't long until he had found what he needed, “The majority of the loot from my last venture has already been used to pay off my expenses or sent back home, but I did manage to keep this.” the ring was set onto the counter by Patraeko's hand. “I've identified it as an item displaying the properties of both a Feather Fall spell and a Lightness spell. It'll save you from any sort of dangerous drop, and prevent your from sinking in water."
Patraeko replied by pushing the ring back towards Neth, a small smile on his face, "Again, me and magic don't mix. Let me come with you to your destination, and we can split the treasure. 60:40."

He leaned forward a little towards Neth, a new idea coming into his head. "You do seem like someone with a good head on his shoulders, unlike me..." He held his hand to his head making rings around the ear with his finger, confessing his 'small' mental problems. "I don't see why you don't join me? You could even join the crew with a high rank, you could be my left hand man, -where Bigman is obviously my right hand man-. Then, you would gain permission around my whole vessel, along with a secure monthly payment. A new life! And my own quest would pay you a nice sum, as long as you hold enough information. I pay my crew depending on their usefulness."

The Fountain of Youth

Patraeko's first adventure on the search for treasure. He shall be put out of his comfort zone as a pirate before his true adventure even begins. Afterall, Sea Pirates don't really think about acting their Piracy in the skies. There shall be a lot of mystery, discovery. And of course, COMEDY!

Re: Misadventures on Golarion

Still interested in a remake here.

Re: Misadventures on Golarion

Well that's nice of the GM to tell us himself. We could always do a remake?

Re: Misadventures on Golarion

Yeah just double-checked with the GM, this thing's been abandoned.

Don't bother posting anymore.

Re: Misadventures on Golarion

They seem to have been online but dunno if they've had time to check or reply yet.

Re: Misadventures on Golarion

Posting speed died down pretty quickly. Where's Lonelyghost?

Re: Misadventures on Golarion

Is it possible that I can get added on to the Rp, my character is still waiting for approval.

Re: Misadventures on Golarion

I agree with Wake, here. Disorganized stuff tends to fall off very quickly as people lose interest without direction.

Also, I POSTEEEEEED. Ya'll buttburgers started so abruptly!

Re: Misadventures on Golarion

Hmm, I'm interested in joining, and I have both a caviler and an oracle for characters in mind right off the bat but... I don't know. I've seen a lot of roleplays like this that have died before they got past the 30 post mark. Have you considered using a writing pad to help keep things organized? With a big group like this it might help.

Re: Misadventures on Golarion

Any chance of possibly throwing in a Gunslinger alongside XShiShioX's archer :P

I've got a character I created for a PBP game that died out pretty much as soon as we'd made our first post about two-three month ago that I never managed to do anything with.

Re: Misadventures on Golarion

@XShiShioX Go for it.
@Weilacca Yes you are allowed to make your own arcs, also may I recommend Isger? It's a rather small country with mountains, forest, rivers, and it is also a large trade route.

Re: Misadventures on Golarion

I am rather interested in the Rp, seeing as I have not come across a good D&D adaptation in a long time. Even though I am more of a planescape man myself. Pathfinder is one of those story lines that I really liked as well.

Re: Misadventures on Golarion

Are we allowed to make story arcs? I got a really good idea how to start my posting off, it doesn't really involve other RPers, yet, but it will introduce my first arc and what it's all about.
Also, what country has mountains?

Re: Misadventures on Golarion

Aww dang. I was just about to suggest that what y'all needed was a dedicated caster. It would appear you've got your enchanter/smithee, a couple of martial experts (including both your standard beefy fighter/barbarian and quick-fingered rogue types), a healer, and, now, a wizard. My only other suggestion would be some kind of ranged DPS, the iconic ranger/archer. Mind if I take that archer slot?

Re: Misadventures on Golarion

Just submitted a character, hopefully he's what you're looking for!

Re: Misadventures on Golarion

Start it in a bar.
Like always.
No wait! a bar BRAWL!

Re: Misadventures on Golarion

I had an idea of how to start this off if anyone was interested.

Misadventures on Golarion

This is where we'll discuss how the rp will begin and where I will answer the questions that I'm sure some of you less familiar with Pathfinder will have.
