Sebastian Von Nacht

Video Game Designer/Programmer

Sebastian is pretty short and slender, standing at a whopping 5'7" and weighing 120 lbs. At first sight, his nervousness and tendency to flee from social situations makes him look twitchy and awkward. However, he somehow manages to look smart as well with his short, black hair, glasses, and surprisingly bright blue eyes. Usually, he dresses in a button-up and tie, slacks, and a jacket. Sometimes he might wear a vest with it, but usually not. His hair is always messy, no matter how hard he's tried to tame it.

Sebastian is afraid of people, and usually does whatever he can to avoid them. It's not that he doesn't like them in general, he is just afraid what they might think of him. He can become very self-conscious of himself, which usually ends up with him locking himself up in his room or going somewhere where he can be alone. However, although he's somewhat of a hermit, he absolutely loves his job. Being a video game fanatic ever since he was young, working as a programmer and designer is perfect for him. Some would say that he prefers a virtual reality more than the real one, and oddly enough Sebastian would agree. He is also very smart when it comes to computers or electronics.
He might be a shut-in, but he's actually a very sweet guy. It might take a while, but once he's comfortable around someone it's easy to see that he's a thoughtful and caring person. Hes very loyal to the people he cares about. He's soft spoken and says whats on his mind.

Masque and Tuxedo:

Mother: Alissa Von Nacht wasn't around when Sebastian was growing up. Perhaps, because of this, she's trying to make up for it now by being a caring and friendly mother. Sebastian, however, doesn't accept this. Sebastian and his mother aren't very close.
Father:Unlike Alissa, William Von Nacht is not openly loving or caring. Growing up, he was very strict with his son. He and is son aren't close.

Sebastian grew up in a mansion, raised by butlers and maids. As he grew up, his parents were almost never around as they were often off on business. He was tutored at home for his education, and he never liked going outside. He preferred video games to anything else. He grew to be a shut-in, incapable of social interaction. Even though his father was never around, he was very strict in Sebastian's upbringing, always telling him that he had to be the best or no one will ever like him.
Because of this, he began to fear people. He began to fear what they might think of him, that they might be judging him. Because of this, he locked himself away more and more, until it became so bad that it was as if he didn't even exist.

Now at the age of 20, Sebastian was more of a hermit than ever. His mother, seeing this, realised what her absence had done. She wanted to re-connect with her son, but she knew that first he needed help. So, she dragged him -literally- to a therapist that she knew was very good at what she did. Her name was Dr. Skylark Pierson, M.D.

At first, Sebastian hated the sessions. He didn't want to talk, didn't want to face his fear. However, eventually she showed him an entirely different way of life, and helped him to be who he is today. He even fell in love with her, and treasured every moment that he spent with her.
Sadly, however, it was not to last.

Three years later, he still thinks of her every day. He might not have known what love is, but what he felt for her was something tangible, something that he knew was real.

So begins...
