Personality traits: As much as Taylor would love to be that bad boy that every girl falls for- he can't. He's not spectacularly daring or very romantic. He prefers to just hide in the shadows of his band mates, particularly his younger brother. He has an artistic mind and can find beauty in almost anything (except sparkles), which led him to try his hand at independent film making. He's a realist who leans towards pessimism. Undoubtedly, he is a horror fanatic and would probably hug a zombie instead of killing it. An introverted young man, Taylor isn't one for socializing.
Background: Taylor grew up in a small town, who's name he can't even remember. Or maybe he's just suppressed the memory of his childhood, which was riddled with drugs and abuse. His parents were both drug addicts and though his mother came clean after he turned ten, he has never forgiven them. His father was usually drunk when he was at home and Taylor honestly has no idea what he even did for a living. Part of him didn't want to know. Dinner was usually whatever he could manage to get out of the cabinet. He found himself alone in the world until the age of 5 when his younger brother Chance came along. Once Chance was born, he felt like he wasn't in this alone.
His life began to steadily improve once Chance was born. His father left the family, which was more or less a good thing and their mother was forced to actually take responsibility and take care of her family. Once she became clean, Taylor thought he couldn't be happier. Through the years, he has tried to forget his past and overcome it, but there are still ticks that will set him off and cause him to withdraw from the world or want to set it on fire.
His appreciation and love of the arts came from his elementary art and music teacher- Ms. Davenport. He loved to color and keep a steady beat for his fellow classmates. In his early teenager years he found that he wasn't exactly the next Picasso, and so his interest in music kept him occupied. Taylor began drumming on whatever he could use to make a sound and when at the library he would look up tips to become a better musician. Despite this, he is mainly self taught, as is his brother with singing.
When Taylor was 18, he moved in with some friends who also weren't quite sure what to do with their lives after graduation. One day, ideas were thrown around and somebody said, "Hey, we should make a band." So that's exactly what they did. Two years later they found themselves on top of the world as a popular rock band called Π―aven. The band consists of two of his childhood friends, his younger brother who is only 15, and a newcomer.
Independently, he has studied independent film making in hopes of making a name for himself away from the group. Horror movies had always been a favourite of his and he had high hopes of creating a movie as legendary as Night of the Living Dead.
The group attended Reichart Awards due to multiple nominations and a scheduled performance. That performance would not happen for the band however, as Taylor had stepped outside to smoke a cigarette to calm himself before show time. Before he knew it, he was on the ground and the cigarette was rolling out of his hand.
Appearance: Taylor has found that his kidnapper has cut his hair shorter than he would like it. A few months earlier he had had it specifically cut and dyed to his liking. His clothing is not dark and basic, but rather whatever their captor feels like he should spare. Given the choice, Taylor would much rather just be wearing a pair of jeans, a tank, and maybe a jacket. He has a bump on the back of his head from where he was hit by his first attacker when trying to fight back. It's caused a few headaches so far, but he's sure it will be alright.
