Setting
It had been a good few weeks since she was last in the village and it felt nice to be able to hear all of the normal village chatter going on. She could smell the sweet aroma of freshly baked bread and decided to head out towards the bakery. With a soft smile on her face, she placed a dollar onto the table then grabbed a piece of the bread before taking a bite from it.
"Great," Ara said, relieved, as she led the way to her cabin. As she opened the door to let Ren and Kathleen in, she said, "Drop her on the bed if you can, please," before muttering an excuse about needing herbs and ran out to her lake and refilled her jar, which was only a few drops from being dry. As she came back in, she started to work on the girl. She cleaned the wound, and bandaged it, and then let her sleep, before telling Ren to make herself at home. She headed back to the lake for a few moments alone.
The blonde female quickly but gently laid the red head onto the bed she was told to then glanced around the small cabin. It was a nice place. It had been a very long time since she was last in a villager's home, she almost forgot about how small and homey they could be, that is compared to her castle.
When Ara went outside to grab some herbs, at least that's what the female had told Serenity. But of course she wasn't going to tell Ara that she knew who she was because then she'd have to explain why she did and things wouldn't turn out good in the end. Serenity had to be careful with the things she said to people if she didn't want anyone to know she was the princess ruling the lands. The blonde sat down on one of the chairs beside the bed the red head was laying on so she'd be able to keep a careful eye upon her just in case something were to happen.
