Appearance
The majority of Amelia's outward appearance is mostly human, her deep rogue hair which was once a jet black now compliments her pale complexion as opposed instead of flattening it, the ruby red lipstick she wears masks the blood stains from her regular feeds if she ever fails to wipe the blood away in time. Her overall appearance is alluring to say the least, like a siren Amelia uses her looks to charm victims into allowing her to feed, claiming her bite marks as a symbol of affection to those whom receive it. To balance out the reds which mainly adorn her look, Amelia prefers to wear clothing that are white and pure in colour, and rarely wears much at all, perhaps only a flowy top and some simple jeans, or even a long dress to cover up her icy-cold skin, but whichever she choses to wear it will always somewhat resemble that of a pure soul, to ease the minds of her prey.
Racial Abilities
{x} Venom - For a vampire, venom has many uses; from simply stunning a victim so they don't struggle during a feed to using as a way to transform someone into a fellow vampire. The way in which venom works is down to the concentration (i.e the amount) that is released when feeding. The average concentration of a normal dose is around 5% (10% being enough to transform someone into a vampire, 20% being enough to kill), 5% being the most commonly used, as vampires don't often transform or kill their victim unless necessary. However, venom is used as a weapon - a tool to subdue or kill a victim when needed, and thus the different concentrations each have their own side-effects. 5% will not kill nor infect (transform) a victim, since it is not a strong enough concentration - it will leave victims with a variety of side-effects; drowsiness, dizziness, potential vomiting, the possibility of losing consciousness and temporary paralysis. The severity of these side effects depends on a ratio of the size of the victim (amount of blood in the system) to the concentration of venom given. For example, a larger being may only exhibit a slight numbness of the neck and shoulders or a headache, whereas a smaller being may experience the lose of balance (dizziness) or temporary paralysis. These side-effects will continue for as long as the venom remains in the victims system, though can lessen in severity as time passes, due to the body creating more blood which will lessen the venom's concentration. The only way to remove venom from the system is through blood, and thus must be drained accordingly. A victim may ask the vampire to drain the venom themselves, or take to inflicting wounds upon themselves to drain the venom out through the wound.
{X} Enhanced Speed - to assist in stalking their victim before a feed, a vampire takes advantage of their enhanced speed to stay out of sight when closing in on their victim. When using this ability, it can often be mistaken as teleportation, as the speed at which a vampire travels at is just above the blinking speed of a human, and thus a vampire can travel from point A to point B all in the time it takes for someone to blink (This is also where the term 'Blinking' comes from, in reference to this ability).
{x} Shadow Walking - when stalking a victim, it is essential for a vampire to remain hidden, and thus the shadows become a very useful tool. Anywhere where darkness lies, a vampire can use as coverage to sneak up on and pounce upon their victim. The one and only thing that can identify a vampire whom is hidden within the shadows, is the distinct deep red glow that their eyes take on when they hunt.

Backstory
Bitten back in the victorian era (1830s), Amelia has since had plenty of time to adjust to new and different time periods each century, and thus is quite knowledge-able about her own and everybody else's history beyond the point of 1837. Having watched countless members of her kind come and go, being hunted down for their label as 'monsters' and worshipped by various romance-novel writers, Amelia embraces her vampirism, and with it has come to hate human-kind, only ever interacting with them when she needs to feed. The reason Amelia came to the Asylum is due to her hatred, she'd read that the asylum welcome all non-human creatures, and thus thought it worthwhile to join, hoping perhaps that within the safety of this new school, she'd never have to see her kind killed again.
