Triston Reed

I want you Veron, all to myself... I don't care what anyone else has to say about it!

0 · 343 views · located in Miami Resort

a character in “More Than Just Friends”, as played by YokoKitsune

Description

Image
Name: Triston Samuel Reed

Age: 18

Gender: Male

Role: Boy 2

Description: He is 5’10” and even though he has a lean figure it is all hard muscle. The top part of his hair is bleached but the bottom is his natural. He has three piercings on his right ear and two on his left but that is it and he has a tattoo on his upper left bicep (he’s trying to get Veron to let him give him a tattoo as well). He never wears anything even resembling formal or ‘nice’ unless Veron asks him to or he’s taking his boyfriend out somewhere special.

Personality: He is pretty possessive when it comes to Veron, not letting many people get close to him other than Lana and Jolie (Lana because she is his best friend and Jolie because she is the “girlfriend”). He is very assertive in his beliefs and won’t hesitate to tell you what he thinks about you and not always in the nicest way possible. Triston couldn’t care less what people think of him so everyone already knows that he’s gay and dating someone but he won’t say who. Not even to Lana, who he usually tells everything to, but he has been going to her on advice on how to get Veron be with him exclusively and publically and in turn he helps her deal with her discovered sexuality and try to get with Jolie (though he doesn't know that she is interested in Jolie, both refuse to tell the other who they are with/interested in). He isn’t a big fan of thinking before acting so he tends to let his instincts and hormones control his actions. However, with Veron it’s like he becomes a totally different person. He is calm, caring, and attentive to what he wants and never forces him to do anything that he doesn’t want to do (maybe give him a little push though). Along with being possessive of him he is also very protective, so if you make him cry you better be prepared to say good-bye to the waking world and nurse more than a few bruises when you return.

Habits: Design new tattoos, watch anime, think up new way to try to convince Vernon to break up with his girlfriend and go public with him…

Dreams: To one day take his relationship with Veron public and have him all to himself. Also, become a famous tattoo artist and have his own shop but that comes second to his relationship with his boyfriend.

Secret: He doesn’t know how much more of this that he can take. Triston loves Veron with everything he has and he doesn’t care who knows, but he’s not sure if he can take being in the shadows for much longer. He knows that as things stand their relationship isn’t healthy for either of them and that if something doesn’t change soon he will be forced to break things off. Even if that means making Veron cy, something that he hates with every fiber of his being.

So begins...

Veron flipped through the page in his book as he sat in the corner of the library. He was waiting for his girlfriend and Triston to come and get him after their extra classes. Veron was excited to see his girlfriend... but Triston was also someone he greatly looked forward to. He really cared about Jollie, but being around Triston gave Veron a feeling he couldn't explain... he loved it. But that was wrong... Veron would get bullied if he told anyone he was gay... The thought of this brought a frown onto Veron's face as he sat in the library, staring blankly into the book in his hands.

"Remedial math is such a drag. Why couldn't I have passed it last year..." Triston grumbled to himself as he sulked down the hall with his backpack slung carelessly over his back. Math had never been his thing, but when they started throwing letters in along with all of thoes wierd signs, it looked more like some alien code than anything actually useful.

Despite that though, this year though hadn't been all that bad, he'd only gotten in one fight and beaten the crap out of two idiots who thought that they could pick on Veron. Most people already knew that do so was to have a death wish and even though incoming freshmen and new students were always warned, there were still a couple of morons who thought that they could get away with it. It might have seemed strange if it weren't for the fact that his love rarely ever stood up for himself, but what was strange was that even though Triston never took any crap from anyone, he always let Veron say whatever he wanted and listened to whatever he said. It was if-y if he listened to his other friends or any authority figure for that matter, but they always claimed to be 'just friends' and that they were both happily in a relationship already. Veron, obviously with his girlfriend Jolie and he was with some 'mystery guy' that none of them had ever met and he would never say. Of course, he'd like to go public with his relationship with Veron, but he would wait until... well he didn't know anymore only that he knew that he was never going to be the first one to say anything about them.

Coming out of his thoughts he saw that he was in front of the library door, quietly opening it he scowled softly to himself as he saw how closely Jolie and Veron were sitting next to one another as jealousy bubbled up inside of him. It quickly went away though when he saw the look on the boys face and changed into one of concern as he walked up to them and took a seat on the other side of him, deciding to ignore Jolie, as he waited for him to say what was on his mind.

Lana slammed the piano shut and gathered her music. She shoved the papers into her bag and let out a big sigh. She looked at the clock and realized she was going to be late to meeting her friends. She pulled out her phone and sent a text to Jolie, telling her that she was almost there. She quickly ran out of the music room and thanked the man for letting her use the piano to practice. Her parents sold her piano last month because when she wasn't with Jolie, she was playing it, nonstop. At first they were happy with it, but then they grew weary of the beautiful, but incessant music. Lana was beyond furious. She spent the next few days at Jolie's house, not answering one of their calls. the library came into sight, just as Triston was walking in.

She quicken her pace and pushed the door open. Jolie and Veron were quite cozy on the couch and Triston was making his way towards them. "Hey Jolie!" Lana smiled and waved to her. Despite her sitting with her boyfriend, Lana couldn't help but be happy to see her. "Veron," She waved to him and faked a smile. He was so nice, but he was still with the girl she loved. "Hey Triston," she said, and sat down on the coffee table in front of the couch. She straightened her skirt and fanned out her fingers in front of Jolie. "They're hibiscus flowers, do you like them? It took me nearly 2 hours to do it last night. The entire upstairs smelled like nail polish," Lana grinned and tucked her hair behind one ear.

Veron looked up at Jolie, a little out of it, then saw Triston behind her. He couldn't help but let out a small sigh under his breath. This little situation was not going to end well. "I was just reading this frustrating part in my book." he replied as soon as he came up with a lie. He was hoping Triston wouldn't catch him on the lie... Jolie too. Veron was so relieved when Lana entered the scene. She was a life saver... but when she smiled at him... it felt empty. That always bothered Veron. Lana and Veron didn't get along very well and he never understood why.

As Lana and Jolie talked, Veron turned to Triston. He noticed that his 'friend' was upset. "Are you alright?" Veron asked, finally closing his book. "You seem a little more upset than usual.

As the lie passed the boy's lips, his eyes narrowed just the slightest, he wanted to say something but he had a feeling that it would be better to just wait. This was confirmed when his best friend came in behind him and greeted them (he gave her a smile, nod, and a small wave of his hand in turn as usual) and Veron seemed to relax slightly. Whatever, he'd just ask questions later when they were alone.

"I just came from remedial algebra Ver, and we were going over stuff for finals tomorrow. How do you expect me to seem?" Triston sighed, not really getting after him. It wasn't the entire truth, but at least it was a part of it and he hoped that it kept them from any further digging. Wanting to lean into his boyfriend but knowing he couldn't he instead he got up and walked around the table and put his arms around his best friend. "Lana, if you truly are my best friend you'll kill me now and put me out of my fucking misery. I don't think I could take it if I didn't pass that damn test tomorrow and had to take the class again next year," he whined. This was something that he was prone to doing from time to time whenever he felt overwhelmed by something, it usually led to the two of them having a nice long talk or Lana helping him cram. Both of which he needed but he was only hinting at the second.

"Thanks, Jolie, if you want, I can do yours like this too," Lana offered. She liked the way it felt when their hands touched. She felt the color rising to her cheeks as she thought about it, but the thought was quickly pushed away when Triston put his arms around her.
"Lana, if you truly are my best friend you'll kill me now and put me out of my fucking misery. I don't think I could take it if I didn't pass that damn test tomorrow and had to take the class again next year," he whined at her.

"I'm not going to kill you. I love you too much." She smiled and turned to face him. She could tell there was something up with him, other than the test. "Do you wanna come over tonight? You know I suck at math, but I just took that class last year, so I might be of some help," She gave him a smile and laughed. "Plus I think mother dearest is making spaghetti for dinner tonight. I don't think she'd mind. And if she did, I wouldn't care," Lana said, with a bit of venom in her voice. She sighed and rolled her eyes. "So is everyone excited for the resort? I know I am. Once Triston passes his test, we'll be on our way!" She looked between Jolie and Triston, avoiding Veron's face. She glanced down at his book then let her eyes settle on Jolie.

Damn, if only I could tell her how I feel.. She blinked a few times before becoming intently focused on her nails. Maybe she could talk to Triston admist 'studying'. He knew that she liked someone that was taken for a long time. Next she told him that the mystery person was a girl. Seeing as he is openly gay, and her best friend, she knew he wouldn't judge her. It wasn't until a few days ago that she decided she would tell him who the person was. Well, maybe she would tell him. She was thinking about a trade. Telling him her mystery person for his mystery boyfriend. She had been dying to meet him. She assumed it was some guy in the school that didn't want people to know he was gay. She could respect that, but at the same time she wanted Triston to just spill the beans.

Veron sighed as Triston gave him a half answer and just left it at that... but considering he had just lied to the guy, I guess it was a fair trade. Veron though, couln't help but smile as Lana mentioned the resort. That would be a lot of fun for all of them. School was almost over and the summer was about to begin. It was exciting. Veron was super amazed as Jolie took out her art project... god... did he wish he could do things like that. It was amazing.

Veron stood up and kissed his girlfriend's lips gently and whispered, it looks amazing. His cheeks were a little red, but that was normal. He was sure he'd get a beating by Triston later for the kiss, but Jolie and him were still a couple, and they needed to act it. Veron couldn't just stop kissing her and loving her... she'd know something was up if that happened.

"Sounds perfect!" Triston grinned as he let go of his friend. He knew that her mother hated him, she hated the way he dressed, the way he spoke, the way he acted... but he didn't really pay it any mind, it was enough that his best friend made him feel welcomed. He crossed his arms and nodded sagely as Lana mentioned the resort. "Who knows, I might even tan this year..." he trailed off, they all knew that that was never going to happen, no matter how much time he spent outside, his pale complexion never got any darker.

When he saw the painting that Jolie pulled out he at first paled at the thought that she might have figured out what he and Veron were doing behind her back (his boyfriend would not be the least bit pleased with him if that happened). Though when he saw how proud she was, he almost burst out laughing, he couldn't believe how this girl could be so observent and clueless at the same time. "I think that it is very accurate," he smirked. It seemed like an ordinary comment coming from him, praise even, but he knew that Veron would get his double meaning, or at least a part of it. In the painting the known couple seemed to be together, but he was at Veron's side and Lana was at Jolie's side. He may not know who it was that had caught her interests, but he had made a small list and Jolie was on it.

As he looked in his boyfriend's direction to catch his reaction he was in time to see them kiss, a sharp twinge shot through him. In his mind he imagined himself ripping Veron away from Jolie and devouring his lips right in front of all of them, screw the consequences. It was with great strain that he retained his self-control, promising himself that he'd have his revenge later. "Well, Lana we better get going now if we want to get any studying done," Triston sighed as he stood up and lazily started walking out of the library with his backpack carelessly thrown over his shoulder, he didn't feel like he could stay around the couple any longer and just needed to get out of there.

Veron looked to the ground, upset with himself. He had made Triston mad. Kissing Jolie was a dumb idea. Veron took in a deep breath and put on his smile once again. He waved at Triston, saying "Have fun with your studies." Then a thought came to Veron. "Text me when your done so we can hang out, okay?" Veron tried to make that sound as innocent as possible... He knew Triston was going to give him a very serious talking to later today. Veron couldn't wait for that....

Veron turned to Jolie with a smile. "Do want to go out for lunch or something?" he asked her. There was a little mall nearby where they could hang out. It was commonly filled with teens from the school, and today was no exception. Veron took the painting from Jolie to better look at it... the words "I think that it is very accurate," ringing in his head. Veron wanted to just scream and cry, but not with Jolie. If he started crying... maybe Jolie would start crying, and Veron did not want a weep-a-thon.

Lana smiled when Jolie got excited about her picture, and when she saw it, she became even more happy. She was glad they were painted together, rathe than her and Triston next to each other. "It's beautiful.." she said, then looked upand flicked her eyes towards Triston as he made his comment. She didn't exactly know what he meant, but she shrugged it off and looked back to Jolie. Veron was kissing her. She bit the inside of her lip as her cheeks flushed red, as the often do when she gets upset. She took a deep breath and stood up.

"Well, Lana we better get going now if we want to get any studying done," Triston said.

"Yeah, sure. Let's go." Her voice became sullen but she tried her hardest to fake a smile. "See ya Jolie. Maybe we can hang out later too, get some packing done," Lana said, then turned and followed Triston out the doors. "So, rough day?" She asked. He was upset and she knew it.

"It's a promise, just don't complain if it ends up being at two in the morning or something like last time," he teased, placated with the tought of being with him. "See you guys later," he stated as he continued on his way. He frowned at the tone that Lana used and when he turned and saw her face he knew that something was bothering her.

When they exited the library, Triston was about to ask her what was wrong, when she beat him to the punch. "Yeah," he scoweled, hating to admit it, but knowing that he coudn't hide it from her, he snuck a glance at her and added seemingly absently, "Though from the looks of it, your day wasn't much better." He knew that he was deflecting the attention onto her, and he knew that she knew but it didn't matter, both of them would get their issues out one way or another by the time that the conversation was over. "You want to talk about it now or wait until we get to your place?" he asked, wondering if this was going to be one of those sensitive conversations that they'd been having a lot of lately.

She saw his scowl, and she grimaced. He really had a bad day. "Though from the looks of it, your day wasn't much better." He said, looking at her. She clenched her jaw and was about to deny it, but lying would just make him mad.

"No, not really. Not very good at all," she sighed and put her hands in the back pockets of her short jean cut offs.

"You want to talk about it now or wait until we get to your place?" he asked her. She sighed again and shrugged.

"My house sounds good. I just hope my mom won't be lurking," She picture her mom standing there at the door, listening to her spill all of her secrets to Triston. She shook her head to get the thought away. She would have turned it back on Triston, but she knew he'd bring it up again later. He has to get his emotions out, and usually talking about them is the best ending for everyone, rather than him acting on them. She thought about Jolie alone in the library with Veron, snuggling up close to him and giggling. She almost stopped and ran back around to get her, but she just kept walking. "So what's eating you? Or is it better left for my house, too?" She asked, not wanting to think or talk about her problems anymore. They pushed the doors to the school open and walked down the stairs to the sidewalk. Her house was only a few blocks from the school, so she didn't have her car with her. She figured Triston would just walk with her, then get his car later, if he had even driven today.

"Your place," he answered automatically, then added, "We might want to turn on the radio." It seemed neither of them were in the mood to allow their converstion to have a chance of being overheard, meaning that whatever was going to be said was going to stay just between them. Triston had helped Lana rearrange her room some time ago so that her desk was now next to the door and on it they had palced her radio, so that when they sat on the other side of the room with the radio on, it covered their voices without it being blaringly loud. He walked on in silence, trying to arrange his thoughts into something that would be coherent when the time finally came to spill.

"There's lots of things you could do to cheer him up, Jo. Don't worry too much about it. I'll talk to him." Veron reassured her, stroking her hair smooth hair. What a pain in the butt situation. Veron and her exited the school and made their way to the mall. This was going to be a long afternoon... He wish he could talk to Triston now to let him clear his mind and reveal everything that was bothering his secret boyfriend. And no matter how much Veron wanted to publicize their relationship, he was afraid people would bully him and he was also greatly afraid of hurting Jolie... He loved her. Not in the same way as Triston, but he still didn't want her to get upset or anything like that.

---Time Skip---
Later after Triston and Lana study together...

Later after Veron and Jolie finish eating...

Veron paid the bill with a smile and turned to Jolie. "Did you like your food?" Veron asked with a kid smile. The lunch had been a little quieter than usual. Veron blamed that on Triston's attitude. That attitude had pretty much affected everyone. Veron would definitely talk to him about trying to hide his disappointment more... well... after Triston gave Veron a beating... figuratively (Veron hoped only figuratively).

"I know but this is impossible," he whined as he fell back from his sitting position so that he was laying on the floor.

"Let's take a break," Lana said as she closed her book, tossed it.

"Thank God, finally," he murmered under his breath as he got up flopped on her bed, not paying attention as she then turned on the radio and locked the door before demanding.

"So, are you ready to spill? What's going on?" she asked, making him look in her direction and he knew that there was no avoiding it any longer when he saw her expression.

Letting out a sigh he turned his gaze back to the ceiling. "I'm jealous of Jolie," he admitted. "She gets to be open with her relationship and tell whoever she wants that Veron in her boyfriend. I wish... I wish that I could have that. And on top of that my boyfriend still won't agree to leaving his girl. I hate that we have to sneak around, I hate that I can't have him all to myself, I hate he won't trust me enough to be able to protect him if he gets bullied, and most of all I hate that I can't hate him," Triston finished his short rant, his voice getting softer and softer as he continued, a wounded expression on his face and he looked like he was about to cry, but he didn't. This was the closest that he would ever get to crying in front of her, but never once had he let a single tear escape in her presence or anyone's for that matter.

Lana listened to him as he spoke. As his voice got softer and softer, she leaned in closer to hear him. He looked like he was about to cry. He had never cried in front of her. For a split second, she wondered if he was going to, but then she gave him a sad smile. She reached out and touched his cheek. "You're a really great guy, Triston. Whoever this mystery boy is, he'll wake up soon and see that you love him, and that you two need to be together." She told him. She believed the words she was saying, but she wasn't sure if he would believe them. She grabbed his hand and gave him a reassuring squeeze. "Have you told him this? That it bothers you he won't leave his girl?" She asked, figuring that he had, but she thought she might ask anyway. "Maybe, if you introduce him to me, I could talk some sense into him. Tell him you're the best choice." She really did want to help him, and that was her first and truest intention, but if she could finally meet this boy, she would be happy.

Triston closed his eyes and took a few deep breaths to will the tears away. He leaned into her touch slightly, appreciating the comfort then opened his eyes and looked up at her with a slight smile. "Thanks and of course I've told him. I've done everything that I can think of to try to get him to dump her but he won't," a look of adoration crossed his features as he thought of Veron, "He's just that kind of guy, he doesn't want anyone to hurt anyone. I guess he thinks that he owes it to her to stay with her until she breaks it off. You know for cheating on her and everything." He stared off dreamily into space for a few minutes before he was able to come back to his senses and turned his attention to his friend's problems. "So what's been eating you Lana?" he asked, wanting to let her vent and to get her to stop asking who his boyfriend was.

He turned the question on her and she sighed.

"I don't know. I mean.. It's this girl. I can't tell her I like her. Actually, Triston, I think I love her." She looked at him and continued chewing her lip. When she tasted blood she began to talk again. "It's just not fair." She closed her eyes and let her head roll back onto her pillow.

His eyes widened in surprise as he shot up on the bed, he quicky placed his hands on either side of her so that he was hovering over her and leaned down enough so that their noses were almost touching. He waited until her eyes were opened and just stared at her, trying to determine if this was just a crush or if she really might be in love. She'd had crushes before, so he knew what he was looking for if it was one, but her eyes seemed different this time. It was like there really might be something more there. Triston rolled off of her so that he was laying by her side instead and turned to look at her with a grin on his lips. "She won't ever know if you don't say anything. I say you should tell her. But why do you think that you can't tell her?" he asked, his grin fading to a frown. Knowing how logical Lana could be he knew that it had to be something serious that would stop her.

Lana felt Triston jump up and get on top of her. His hands grabbed her face and when she finally opened her eyes, their forehead were practically touching. His eyes searches hers for a few seconds, then he rolled over onto his side. He smiled at her, and she couldn't help but return the grin."She won't ever know if you don't say anything. I say you should tell her. But why do you think that you can't tell her?" He asked, as a frown crossed his lips.

Lana mired his face once again and blinked a few times. "She has a boyfriend. She likes boys.. I don't think this is a situation like yours. I don't think she swings both ways. I mean you should see the way she looks at this boy. The way he kisses her. So gentle.. She loves him, and I'm just a friend." Lana stopped herself before she said anymore. Her eyes glassed over as she replayed the kiss in her mind. Her heart ached. She was afraid she said too much, and that Triston might put the pieces together, but then again, what was the harm in telling him?

Veron looked around, and didn't even notice when she had slipped away. Veron could only focus at one thing at a time. It was just who he was. He looked at the stuffed animals, then thought about texting Triston. He took out his phone and sent him a text, How's studying going? ^.^ Learn anything? Veron highly doubted that Triston had learned anything, but it was nice that he was trying if not for himself, but for Veron. It was those little things that made their relationship strong. Veron tensed when he felt Jolie come up behind him. It honestly creeped him out since he didn't know who it was. He turned around and let out a sigh of relief seeing it was Jolie. "I told you never to come up behind me!" He laughed.

As he listened to his friend's problems he gave her a sympathetic look before asking a seemingly completely off topic question, "Hey Lana, have I ever told you how my uke and I got together?"

While he waited for her response he thought back wondering if he had or not, but kept drawing up a black, he couldn't remember if he had ever told her. "I had liked him for a while already but I wasn't sure how to tell him so I didn't, something I really regret now. He soon found himself a girlfriend, and I could do nothing but watch as my unexpressed feelings for him ate away at me until a few weeks after they'd gotten together I was forced to confess to him, even if it was only to get them out. He didn't believe me, thought that I was joking around with him and he got mad at me and stormed off. After that, every day I would tell him and show him in any way that I coud think of how serious I was, but if I was ever too public with my affections then he would get mad or cry and storm off, come to think of it he's still like that. Well anyway, he eventually got fed up and asked what he had to do to get me to stop and I asked him for one date, just one chance. He was confident in his sexuality so he agreed and we went on the date, I walked him home and kissed him good-night and now here we are," Triston finished with a cheeky grin.

However, things hadn't quite gone that smoothly after their first date, Veron had had trouble accepting his sexuality, something he was sure that he was still struggling with. But remembering that first date, that first kiss, it was sweeter than anything. "Point is Lana, you have to tell her or she'll never know, and you might never know if she could have loved you back," he revealed his purpose for telling her that. At that moment his cell vibrated in his pocket and when he pulled it out he saw that it was a message from Veron. Opening it he read the text and let out a short laugh before messaging him back, Trying to, Lana is a slave driver, she's trying to force all of these formulas into my head. Save me!, then putting it away and going back to his friend.

"This guy is cute, right?" Veron asked her holding out a little bear, but it was more rhetorical. Veron was going to get it whether or not she liked it, since it wasn't for her. He smiled at her brightly, then felt his phone vibrate in his pocket. "Hold on." He murmured, taking his phone out and checking his messages. He chuckled reading Triston's text. He quickly replied,
She wouldn't have to if you remembered them when you were supposed to.
He put the phone away and looked up at Jolie. "Alright. What do you think? I thing it's absolutely adorable."

Lana closed her yes and listened to Triston's story. At first she was sad for him, but when it came to the end, she was filled with hope. "Okay, maybe. I always run out of words to say, though.." She opened her eyes and saw that Triston was smiling at his phone. He typed in a quick message before returning it to his pocket. "So was that your boyfriend? Or Veron?" she asked, knowing that they had said something about hang in out later. Thinking about Triston's boyfriend and Veron made a thought pop into Lana's head. "Wait, so I know you and Veron hang out sometimes, doesn't your boyfriend get jealous?" She asked, then immediately continued, figuring out the answer to her own question. "Well, of course he wouldn't because Veron is straight, and has a girlfriend. But wait! So does your boyfriend!" Lana kept rambling, until she confused herself.

She sat there and thought for a minute. She was then overtaken by a fit of giggles. "Oh my gosh, Tris, I just had the funniest thought. What if Veron was your boyfriend? And all this time you two were sneaking about without telling me and Jo." She shook her head and fought off some more giggles. "That's impossible though, because you would have told me." she pointed a finger at Triston before continuing. "Well and Veron is totally straight." She began laughing again. She finally stopped and just sat there grinning at Triston. She was so thankful she had someone to be with that wouldn't judge her, and she could take off the mask of being so prim and proper all the time. She didn't laugh around very many people, especially over silly things like secret relationships. "You're my best friend. Thanks for being amazing."

"Boyfriend, I was just telling him what a slave driver you are," he answered cheekily.

When she spoke once more all of the color drained from his face as he stared at her with a mixture of shock and horror, but she didn't seem to notice as she rambled on. He thought that maybe she'd figured out the truth when she paused but then she started laughing which confused him. The next words to come out of her mouth made him go into a laughing fit of his own as she had hit the mark dead center and yet it was something that she'd concluded to be the impossible. "First of all, my boyfriend trusts me to not do anything behind his back so, no he doesn't get jealous when I hang out with Veron. Secondly, I haven't told you who exactly my boyfriend is because I promised him not to tell anyone and that includes you. It's not that I don't trust you to keep it a secret, it's just that I don't want to make him disappointed in me," Triston corrected her.

He hadn't lied to her, everything he'd said was the truth, and he hadn't outright denied that he wasn't dating Veron, but he'd said it in a way that made it sound like he was denying it and that Veron and his boyfriend were two different people. He shifted a little, uncomfortable with her praise of him when he knew it wasn't true. He was betraying one friend by helping another cheat on her and to make it worse he was the one he was cheating on her with. This guilt that he felt was another reason that he wanted Veron to break it off with Jolie. "I'm not that amazing Lana," he rubbed the back of his head, trying to play it off as him having one of his rare modest moments. Just then his stomach decided that it needed some attention as well as it let out a low rumble. "Well I guess that's our signal that it's time to eat!" he cheered as he jumped off the bed, pulling Lana with him as he walked towards the door, laughing.
