         Trinity stared at the only light on in the tavern. The room that the light was coming from belonged to Richard Ford Milligan, who had a busted up car that needed some fixing. Room 5. She had figured this all out by doing a little researching (which may or may not have involved a death or two) with both the mechanics and and the owner of the tavern. She had sat her for about 5 minutes now, sitting under a tree that was right across the street. Might as well go now. Jack wanted the hostages by morning.

Not bothering to go through the lobby, she found a fire escape instead and scaled up to the second floor. Now, she stood in the musky hallway, where a weak light bulb was flickering at the opposite side of the hallway. In front of her, was a door with a crooked golden number on the door. 5 She tested the door knob. It was open. Well then. She opened the door, slowly. There was a small squeaking because of the old hinges, but other then that, nothing. She slowly walked in the room, ax in had even though she wasn't allowed to kill. But she could wound.

But the figure of Ford was fast asleep. Okay, this was getting way too easy. She looked around the room. It was empty. Raising an eyebrow slightly, she walked over to the bed and stood over it. Easiest way to do this was to make sure he was as asleep as possible. She brought the ax down so the handle hit him in the temple. Not enough to kill him, but enough to be sure he was out cold. Now, to get out of her without anyone seeing her.

Minutes later, Trinity stood in the clearing where she usually killed, the endless rain still pounding down on her. And at her feet was the slumped over Ford Milligan, fast asleep.
