Personality:
Noriko is the mixed image of what everyone expects a Mushi Master to behave as, and what they don't expect. She gets many surprised looks from people for announcing what she is, but that might be just a common occurrence for Mushi Masters everywhere, and she doesn't mind the attention. Although she takes her profession very seriously, she may not do the same for clients (and idiotic people who have decided they can 'master' Mushi.) But this does not mean she is an easily provocative person— they just annoy her, is all. And it's not as if being a Mushishi is all she does. She's also a merchant of strange items that she sometimes receives as payment, or things found on her travels. And always being in a place where almost no one will recognize you, you also have to learn how to gain both people's interest and trust to make a profit, and she does just that. No, Noriko is gentle with most people, and enjoys her time talking with them. Being on the trails all the time makes her crave interaction, so she enjoys small talk where she can find it... warm drinks as well.
Noriko is a naturally caring person, almost motherly protective of both Mushi and Humans as if they were siblings fighting. For her age she's quite mature, and even though she doesn't know everything, she'll make you believe she does. She teaches by both demonstrations and words, and tries her best to be a good person.
Dreams:
Falling in love is a common thought in her head, but it's always put out because.. god, how would that even work? Would her lover follow her around, or would she try to stay with them? Could she honestly quit being a helper for someone? Love would be nice, but she knows it won't come.
Fears:
Having someone die because of a mistake she made while on the job is a great fear, but not something she cannot deal with. No, Noriko is more afraid of herself having to kill someone because of a mistake she made while on the job. Even if it was a mercy killing, or the right thing to do, being able to prevent something and not taking that chance is a fear that keeps her from making mistakes.
Job skills and items:
Noriko has exceptional knowledge on common types of Mushi, and some on rarer types. She carries a backpack packed full of items used to remove Mushi, lure them, and/or other methods of dealing with Mushi. Noriko also keeps a small dagger hidden on her person, just in case.

All and all she's a nice mixture of humble, but friendly. She's certainly not one of the ugliest teachers in the world.
Noriko has two outfits she keeps with her all the time; one for warm weather, and one for cold. Clothes that you wear all the time tend to wear out, so when she's looking for new ones she usually tends towards the looser shirts and pants and more comfortable shoes, always keeping in mind those long walks. For winter, she keeps her favorite coat and gloves, but the rest come and go.
