Ayden Ganko

"Hmph. Damn mutants, they don't belong anywhere........"

0 · 301 views · located in SunShadow High

a character in “Mutant Rivalry”, as played by Auricambrflaym

Description

.:Name:. Ayden
.:Age:. 18
.:Grade:. Senior
.:School:. LakeView
.:Appearance:. ImageImage
.:Personality:. Ayden doesn't look like the kind of guy to despise anyone. To tell the truth, he looks more like someone who would help you after you got your ass kicked. Do not be fooled; his cunning is an equal to his actual intelligence, and has a wicked tongue. His charisma makes him a good leader, one who many follow, and his short temper makes him a terrible enemy. However, for those select people who are his friends, he will do just about anything to protect or impress them.
.:Extracurricular Activity:. LakeView Student Body President; Three time MVP of the tennis team, Captain of the archery team, Track and field
.:Mutant or Normal?:. normal
.:Strengths:. Ayden is an expert as hand to hand combat, as well as midrange combat (anything that can be shot or thrown like arrows or javelins). He is very fast (for a nonmutant) strong enough to give most strength-based mutants a hard time. His intellegence is higher than any of his schoolmates, and he uses that to hide his true self.
.:Weaknesses:. None that are known to others; each weakness he finds in himself he quickly finds a use for against his enemies.

So begins...

(Okay!)

Cade

The two tailed striped mutant looked into the eyes of the girl who appeared to be straining a bit to keep the pain away. "Hmm...Well, I'm not like most boys." he spoke to her directly. "Hearing you say this makes me feel like I'll fit in more." He started to chuckle before looking away from the girl and at the ground. "H-hey, are you sure your alright? I just wanted to be sure is all..." He asked curiously. the girl seemed to be having some trouble speaking. Was it emotional though or real pain? Cade couldn't be to sure. "Oh...By the way my name is Cade...Asher. C-Cade Asher." He starts to chuckle nervously. 'Idiot!' 'Shut up!' He argued mentally.

Iria

Iria sighed as she finished a near due assignment that she needed to get out of the way so she could work on her project. But before she could lift herself out of her seat, a boy next to her had snatched her paper. "H-hey." She half growled half whispered at the boy. The teacher only glanced at her while the boy started to copy down the answers. Iria put two fingers on both of her temples. "Ugh..." She sighed inwardly as the boy finished and casually handed the paper over to her. "hehe. Thanks nerd." he whispered into her ear. Iria's hands clenched around the ends of the table as she got up and walked toward the teacher.

(Hope I did alright :)

Cade

He smiled at her once more before another kid ran into him sending Cade tumbling to the ground. He hit the cold ground hard and let out a groan. "Ugh...W-what happened?" He said while still laying on the ground. He placed his hand on the back of his head and began rubbing sending yet another jolt of pain through out his body. He tried to move his tails but he couldn't. He painfully looked over and found that his tails had been tangled with the boy that ran into him. He undid his tails slowly and eventually staggered up from the ground. "Ouch...Ah..." He flinched a bit when he heard the boy speak. ”Whoops….you ok?” He looked over at the kid who was looking over at the girl so he couldn't tell if he was talking to him, her, or the both of them. To be sure he replied in a very low and not so audible tone. "Yeah, I'm fine." he says while clutching his side. He began to look around for a second until he opened his mouth once more. "Well, at least we are in the nurses office." He says while rubbing the back of his neck sending once again another jolt of pain down his spine causing him to flinch and look down at the ground.

'What a klutz you are!' 'You can say that again.' 'What! You weren't suppose to support that!' 'Why are you calling yourself a klutz anyway, it was the kid who knocked you over!' 'Yeah but he wasn't paying attention to where he was going.' 'Where he was!- Listen, the boy slams into you sending you tumbling to the floor and has the nerve to not look you in the eyes and say sorry!' 'Well...' 'Yeah, well!' Cade whimpered a bit before awkwardly walking over to one of the waiting chairs and sitting down. 'Listen!' 'this guy and that girl don't care about you!' 'They both seem pretty nice though...' 'Yeah, they seem pretty nice. Listen to me and avoid contact. You don't know who these people could be...' Cade once again whimpered before wrapping his arms around his body and sliding in his seat. He was no longer arguing with himself, but his Paranoid Disorder.

Iria

Iria turned in the paper and quickly went back to her seat. She sat down and began writing down the paper for the project they were doing. A four paper information sheet, paraphrased not copied, about one species of endangered animal. Iria chose the Amur Leopard. A beautiful bid cat that has only been estimated about 14 to 20 adults and 5 to 6 cubs in Census. It was due in another month or so but was given to her about another month back. Iria would always be the one to immediately get started on her assignments. She has been so busy lately though, that she hasn't had the time to get any work done. Between the Beta club meetings and projects, she couldn't have the time to squeeze in the Leopard assignment. In fact it was originally due last month, but she pleaded to the teacher giving him logical explanations as to why she hasn't been able to do it and, since she was the prized student that all teachers love, the teacher generously moved the due date to another month for all classes.

Iria sighed when she picked up whispering behind her. Her eyes glanced back at the boy who had snatched her paper and the student body president. They seemed to be chatting pretty intensely when the jock looked at his desk and nodded his head I a very understanding way. 'Hmm, I wonder what they could be talking about... Probably something about the School team or something in that subject.'

Cade

"Oh well, I'm sorry to here that. Must have been quite frustrating..." He mutters audible enough to here. He begins to smile before climbing up onto a branch close to Julye's. He lays down on his back and stretches the stiff muscles in his body before relaxing. A moment of anger fills his emotions but it passes fairly quickly. He knew it wasn't his mood swings since he was relatively happy. 'Hm, must have been Julye.' 'What was she so angry about?' 'losing the competition duh!' 'Yeah yeah, but by the looks of it, more towards that modern Robin Hood eh?' Cade raises an eyebrow. 'Yeah, guess your right...' He concluded. "Oh!" he realizes that he's just been sitting there. "Uh...Here." He sifts through one of his pockets and pulls out a schedule before handing it over to Julye. "Hmm, I heard this school is rivals with the...other school. Do you know why?" He asks with curiosity and excitement. Excitement that maybe he could have a class with his new friend. 'Man! This school is great! I walk in and I already get what, two friends!' 'Yeah, but I would still be a little bit more distant. Like you said, you just walked in.' 'I guess your right. Don't want to be to clingy.' 'yeah...'

Iria

Iria sat at her usual lunch table, eating her usual meal, reading her usual book. Nothing unusual about this scene. Iria sighed before taking a bite of her apple. The book was about the Amur Leopard but because of its scarcity, it was becoming quite dificult to pick up the much needed information. Nevertheless, she continued righting down facts about the big cat. Most of the kids in her class ran at the speed of light to the cafeteria. Same old same old. Only, the boy who took her paper glanced at her. She happened to catch it before he looked away nervously. Nervous of what though? Iria was starting to doubt that earlier conversation with the president and the jock. Speaking of the president, Iria saw him headed towards the archery field. Course she didn't follow, but why would he need to practice when he was already good? She remembered last years competition. A rumor had spread that the team had cheated. At first, Iria disregarded this until she met an actual mutant going to school. It forever changed her view on the creatures of SunShadow..

Iria glanced at her book until a voice broke through the silence. "Excuse me, but may I sit with you? I'm sorry about my team-mate's behavior in class; I can assure you he's been punished for it." Iria looked up and almost jumped back out of her seat. The president!? Wanting to sit with her!? She noticed the glances and surprised looks on the peoples faces as he said this. "I-If you want to..." She says in astonishment. Well, I guess since he is the president he would have to talk to people like me. "S-so how's the archery team comin' along?" She says with a somewhat slur to her sentence, mostly due to her tongue tripping over her words.

Cade

'Beasts?' His eyes looked over Julye. "Well, we're mutants not beasts. There's a difference you know." He smiles only slightly. He rolls onto his stomach. The pain his spine being somewhat relieved that it didn't have to be pushed up against the hard branch of the tree. "I think, if they had the time or care to know a mutant as nice as you then they wouldn't think that anymore." He says with a smile. His tails flicking slightly at another fallen leaf. His mood swing suddenly acts up, getting all happy and excited he starts to chuckle for no reason. He then looks over at the ground. "You know, the lighter things are, the better I can control them..." He says suddenly before taking a good bit of the fallen leaves and bringing them over their heads. They then start to shift around, one leaf going there, another here, until it forms a picture of a cat stalking on the ground. It wasn't the best but someone could easily tell it was a cat. The tail seemed to move a bit as the leaves moved to copy a cats flicking tail. The picture though soon started to get fuzzy as his grip on the leaves started to fade away. It was then that his telekinesis stopped and leaves seemed to float down on them. Some landing in Cade's long hair and tails.

Iria

Iria hesitated a moment before picking up the soda can. She popped the lid and took a sip before glancing at her book. "Hmm...So that wasn't just a rumor..." She murmurs. Her eyes then dart to the president. "I here your pretty good at archery..." She says in the awkwardness. "So, are you the...captain?" She asks shyly.

Iria

Iria looked over at him. Her eyes showing a bit of anger and irritation for the statement Those damn mutants though this passed quickly. This could finally be her chance to meet the mutant that helped her and meet others as well though..."I don't know...Won't they sorta not want company from LakeView?" She asks before sighing. "I...guess I could come." This was an offer of a lifetime. She could see some of the mutants, have a slim chance of meeting that kid who had helped her, and being with the president. Though she was debating if this was 'real' or just some prank but the president wouldn't do that, at least, not for his reputation as a good president. She takes another sip of her soda. If it were though, she would still go out toward the mutant archery field. Now that she knows that they are practicing after school.

Cade

Cade smiled as he saw Myran approach and nodded to Julye. "Of course!" He says gleefully before the leaves both falling or on the ground were floating above their heads in a ball like mass made of either bright green or brown leaves. He twitched his hand a bit and the leaves began to make a figure that looked somewhat like a snake with legs. His telekinesis picked up more leaves from the ground and put it in front of the figures large mouth making it look like it was breathing fire. "It's a Chinese Dragon." He says clarifying the object the leaves made. The picture though began to get fuzzy like the cat and the leaves began to fall back to earth. Cade chuckles as he picks off the leaves in his hair and tails before all attention goes toward food. Just as Julye, Cade began to chow down on his chicken as well after giving a thank you to Myran.

Iria

"Everything huh?" She says. "Well at a teen age, they are pretty powerful. I couldn't imagine how powerful an adult would be..." she says with an almost marveled tone. Just now hearing the whispers from people around them, Iria began to get slightly nervous. "So we are going after school?" She asks in an antsy tone of voice as she catches a glimpse of a person who was staring at both of them in amazement.

Cade

"I guess. Dad says I have to if I ever want to get in, so I guess so...Er...Outside of school?" He begins to think. Cade wasn't in to the whole video games or just staying inside. He was curious and adventurous when independent. "I do lots of things like, practicing my telekinesis, shape-shifting and other things like that. I sometimes try out one of my dads hunting bows." He says before realizing they were around a neighborhood like society. "Uh...We used to live in the country." He adds. "So Myran, what classes are you in?" He asks the boy.

Iria

Iria took another sip of her soda and choked a little when he mentioned something about them thinking he asked her out. "Oh." She coughs. "I-I guess..." She says under her breath before blushing madly when he winks at her. As he's leaving, one of her friends, Noah, a boy with bright blonde hair and short but sturdy build comes over and sits by her. He knew her because of FCA and over time they had become good friends. "Dude! What was that!" He says referring to the president sitting in front of her. At this point, Iria was trembling. "T-to tell you the truth," She says with a hint of shakiness, "I really don't know..." She sighs out before packing up her books.

Marcus

He watched the people around him, some did look normal but he knew you couldn’t just go off of looks; each one of them was a mutant, a freak basically. He rolled his eyes at his brother Mitchel, the boy needed to learn to not be so eager for things, cheering along with the other mutants, getting more into the game, than he should be. He just watched, when he glanced across the stadium and caught a familiar face. He smiled slightly and pulled out his phone, sending a text to the student body President. Checking out the archery competition? My brother’s friend still has her arm in a cast.

Marcus

He smirked a little, “Mitchel always gets the information out of Myran. The clumsy cat freak fell out of a tree. Seems this feline doesn’t land on all fours.” He watched the band briefly, picking out his mutant brother among the other percussion people. “My youngest brother is fine…for now. Mitchel is in one of his playful moods, wanted to loosen a few bolts on the drum majors platforms.”

Myran

Myran felt the cheer and almost joy spread through him as they ended the fight song, and by the feel of it, the strong emotion was coming from Julye. He glanced down and nodded, it was definitely her, always pushing out the good emotions out subconsciously. He glanced at his brothers again and paused, Marcus was talking to someone, he had seen him before somewhere….Then it clicked, the Lakeview archery captain. What was he doing here? Julye’s arm was still in a cast for another week, were they going to sabotage something at the game? He glanced down at Julye, wondering if she noticed them yet, though he wasn’t sure if it was a good thing she did or not.

He chuckled, sitting forward a bit, his elbows on his knees to make it look like he was watching the game. “Oh don’t worry, I told him to save it for the competitions and that he could make sure our brother gets home a little later than he planned.” He chuckled at Ayden’s comment. “Talks are always….productive.” He smiled slightly, cracking each of his knuckles in turn.

Myran

He watched Julye start handing out water bottles to everyone and smiled when he got his. Chugging it down in a few gulps. ”I don’t know either, but it is fun to watch them go back and forth and everyone get riled up when they head to score.” He set the empty bottle of water on the ground and tapped his mallets on the sides of his legs.

Cade

Cade looked in the direction where Julye was looking in curiousity. He saw two boys unfamiliar to him, or at least he thought so. Over time, Julye had explained what their rivals looked like. That Ayden kid she explained to him seemed to be the same guy over there. The other boy though was still vague to him. Biting his lip for only a moment and turning to meet Julye's face. He saw her balled fist as she growled at Myran. A look of anger filled her features. Deep inside, Cade knew that her incredible will power was holding it back from unleashing into the crowd. Especially what she'd explained to Cade what this Ganko kid had done. Cade looked back at the other two boys. Were the two friends? If not, the who was the one with the white hair? Looking in a bit more closely, he compared what similarities the two had. None in particular until he realized the build between the boy with white hair and Myran. 'So...Are they related?' 'Man! I don't know! Why are you always asking me!?' 'Hey don't get an attitude with me!' 'Oh please! You sound like my mother!' 'Don't ever speak of her!' He suppresses a hiss and decides to stay quiet for now.

Cade

Cade felt these emotions and it sorta made him shudder. Both from the loud roar and the feeling it sent down his spine. He looked over at Julye and rested a hand on her shoulder. "Now now Julye. Like Myran said. I think the best thing we can do now is just ignore him and Myrans...brothers. I mean come on. Your at a football game and we just scored a point. Now's the time to have fun and let go of all your past worries and rivalries, and you know what?" Cade says as he took his hand from her shoulder and put it into a determined fist by his side. "If he and his friends do happen to ruin your's or Myran's evening, they will be hearing it from me." He says in a somewhat proud tone as he folded his arms around his puffed out chest in a way to act manly which was ironic since...Cade didn't exactly look like it.
