a character in “Mutant Rivalry”, as played by yogitheambrangyl

Description

.:Name:. Marcus Elway

.:Age:. 18

.:Grade:. Senior

.:School:. LakeView

Image.:Description:. Marcus has snow white shaggy hair that will hang down in his most often if he didn’t keep it combed. His hair looks like he just ruffles a hand through it when he gets out of bed. But he does keep it combed, just right so that his hair won’t cover his dark eyes. His eyes are a deep dark blue, their depths seem almost endless. His smile is said to melt the heart of any girl, though he doesn’t particularly care for finding a girlfriend.
His build is pretty thin, much like many of the boys in his family. He is about five foot eight and very lean. It doesn’t look like he would have much strength but could easily beat any of the football players to the ground, which is contradictory to his thin frame.
His normal attire is that somewhat professional. He will wear a button up shirt most of the time though he will generally have the ends untucked and a few of the top buttons unbuttoned. Besides that he will generally be carrying around a book bag of dark leather and a single strap he pulls over his head to hang at his hip.

.:Personality:. Marcus seems to have almost two personalities, one that is more laid back while he is with friends and family and one that is more professional that he expresses while with others and when he is focused on his work. While he is laid back he tends to smile more, be friendlier to the people around him and can more easily be himself. He can talk more openly and will give more of his opinions about something than he would when he was around others. With others, he is more closed, some say he is cold. He is just very upfront about things than most would. He won’t around the bush or lead you on with riddles and maybes, it is all out there in the open. With others, he will tell more facts than he will of his opinions, seeing as he doesn’t think many people need his opinions.Image

.:Extracurricular Activity:. He is currently the student body vice president, captain of the combat team, and on the archery team.

.:Mutant or Normal?:. He is a normal, and has a great dislike for any mutants.

.:Strengths:. He is very smart, resilient and mature for his age. His attitude usually makes people feel inferior to him.

.:Weaknesses:. His brother, Myran, is a mutant, because he is family he considers it a weakness.

So begins...

Mitchel

He laughed as they pulled up to the stadium, ”What are we doing this time? Rigging the sets, couple loose bolts on the major’s platforms?” Mitchel looked excited, ready to through with whatever his brother told him to do. He ran a hand through his hair, sweeping it out of his eyes then readjusting his cutoff gloves. ”Or are we just going to make sure that Myran doesn’t get home until after midnight?” He sounded a bit bumbed at the last, he was all in favor for it, but messing with the lot of mutants was better than just their youngest brother.

Marcus

He sighed a little as he turned the car off, adjusting the collar of his button up cream colored shirt. ”We’ll just watch today. You can pull your pranks at the competitions, until then, we just watch.” He got out and headed to the stadium, paying for both their tickets and going to find a seat in the stands, which they always could on the mutant side, once they mentioned their brother was one though he almost hated the fact. ”And yes, we’ll make sure he doesn’t get home until late.” He glanced at his younger brother who chuckled and cracked his knuckles. Marcus rolled his eyes and sat down, brushing his white hair out of his eyes.

Myran

Myran frowned a little at the laughter that was coming from the guard and he could tell it was making Julye uncomfortable. ”Sorry I wasn’t there, my brother booby trapped the car again. I was going to try and fix it this weekend instead of right before a game and be really late.” He watched her turn and head back behind the stand to get a burger from the band food line. He felt somewhat bad, he could have called huh? He would have to remember to do that next time so that she wasn’t running the whole way here. He looked up at the drum majors started to get people’s attention, getting ready to play music he headed up to the stands, mallets in hand and already motioning out beats. Then they stopped, and he saw someone coming up the stands on the other side. His brothers went and sat down, looking much like they should be there, but he knew different. He wished once again that he could read minds and know that they were planning. Mitchel caught his eye and gave him a smug smile, and Myran knew his night was going to end with just this game. He just hoped Julye didn’t see them, or Cade see the resemblance in the three of them.

Marcus

He watched the people around him, some did look normal but he knew you couldn’t just go off of looks; each one of them was a mutant, a freak basically. He rolled his eyes at his brother Mitchel, the boy needed to learn to not be so eager for things, cheering along with the other mutants, getting more into the game, than he should be. He just watched, when he glanced across the stadium and caught a familiar face. He smiled slightly and pulled out his phone, sending a text to the student body President. Checking out the archery competition? My brother’s friend still has her arm in a cast.

He smirked a little, “Mitchel always gets the information out of Myran. The clumsy cat freak fell out of a tree. Seems this feline doesn’t land on all fours.” He watched the band briefly, picking out his mutant brother among the other percussion people. “My youngest brother is fine…for now. Mitchel is in one of his playful moods, wanted to loosen a few bolts on the drum majors platforms.”

Myran

Myran felt the cheer and almost joy spread through him as they ended the fight song, and by the feel of it, the strong emotion was coming from Julye. He glanced down and nodded, it was definitely her, always pushing out the good emotions out subconsciously. He glanced at his brothers again and paused, Marcus was talking to someone, he had seen him before somewhere….Then it clicked, the Lakeview archery captain. What was he doing here? Julye’s arm was still in a cast for another week, were they going to sabotage something at the game? He glanced down at Julye, wondering if she noticed them yet, though he wasn’t sure if it was a good thing she did or not.

He chuckled, sitting forward a bit, his elbows on his knees to make it look like he was watching the game. “Oh don’t worry, I told him to save it for the competitions and that he could make sure our brother gets home a little later than he planned.” He chuckled at Ayden’s comment. “Talks are always….productive.” He smiled slightly, cracking each of his knuckles in turn.

Myran

He watched Julye start handing out water bottles to everyone and smiled when he got his. Chugging it down in a few gulps. ”I don’t know either, but it is fun to watch them go back and forth and everyone get riled up when they head to score.” He set the empty bottle of water on the ground and tapped his mallets on the sides of his legs.

Cade

Cade looked in the direction where Julye was looking in curiousity. He saw two boys unfamiliar to him, or at least he thought so. Over time, Julye had explained what their rivals looked like. That Ayden kid she explained to him seemed to be the same guy over there. The other boy though was still vague to him. Biting his lip for only a moment and turning to meet Julye's face. He saw her balled fist as she growled at Myran. A look of anger filled her features. Deep inside, Cade knew that her incredible will power was holding it back from unleashing into the crowd. Especially what she'd explained to Cade what this Ganko kid had done. Cade looked back at the other two boys. Were the two friends? If not, the who was the one with the white hair? Looking in a bit more closely, he compared what similarities the two had. None in particular until he realized the build between the boy with white hair and Myran. 'So...Are they related?' 'Man! I don't know! Why are you always asking me!?' 'Hey don't get an attitude with me!' 'Oh please! You sound like my mother!' 'Don't ever speak of her!' He suppresses a hiss and decides to stay quiet for now.

Cade

As Myran talked, the world only seemed to become duller and duller with each word he said. All the cheers zoned out. The only thing he heard was the quiet sound of Juye's soft sobbing and Myrans comforting words. It was utterly heartbreaking to see his friend lie this, and now that he knew the truth, it only made it worse. "What kind of low down piece of trash would do that to Julye..." he growls, gritting his teeth to the breaking point. He sighs calming himself down before he started to rub Julye's back. It was a small gesture but he didn't want to interrupt Myran and Julye. Plus, he always found his back being rubbed comfortable and calming. But ever since the divorce he hadn't had that treatment in a while so he decided that Julye deserved it. "It's gonna be alright Julye...As long as me and Myran are alive, nothing would ever hurt you..."

Mali

She listened intently and was a bit surprised as smoke started to rise above the feathers covering her hand. It almost seemed like he was turning into it. Mali wasn't the least scared though. I mean, both were mutants and both were weird in their own way. She couldn't even control more than half of her powers without completely passing out. She smiles before playfully punching his arm lightly. "Hey uh...I was wondering if you knew any...teacher person that could teach me how to control some of my powers. Do you know of any?" She asks shyly. She always hated getting help from someone but this had to be done.

Iria

Iria watched the field from afar. The band was certainly great. Everything seemed to be going just fine. After about what seemed like 10 minutes, there was a slight feel of uneasiness before it suddenly left her body completely causing her to shiver. Eyes darting around the crowd, she saw some people from her school, like two brothers, Mali-who used to be at her school until people found out she's a mutant-, even Ayden was here which, astonished her. She'd never thought of Ayden coming to one of these games but hey! She wasn't the one to say that in his face. She was just a bit surprised.
