[OPEN] When 8 children get caught in a series of strange events, what will happen when they find out their father is actually the Grim Reaper?

2,717 readers have visited My Daddy Death since Kiyokojordie created it.

Introduction

My Daddy Death

Welcome to Reaper, a large historic town settling by the sea.

2000 years ago, the Grim Reaper 'Death' himself, appeared one day in the nameless town, casting a magical ward over it to keep any unwanted entities away. They say he planted something important in the town, or was planning something unknown.
No one knows why, and no one in this day believes it. The town is a normal, peaceful place and anyone that believes the town is haunted or contains bad luck are just silly.
Nothing abnormal has ever happened here.

A group of normal children, teens and young adults live in peace, almost bored by the unchanging town that is Reaper. They yearn for the future, jobs, exploring the world or maybe they are happy where they are, either way, that isn’t the only thing they have in common.
The children don’t have fathers. They may have step dads, or may not have any parents at all, either way they have never known their true father.
You are one of the group of children. For a few weeks, months or even years you have been feeling out of sorts, either you feel more moody or there has been a particular ache in your body.
Your story starts out when you suddenly feel a great pain in your heart, as if somebody is ripping it out of your chest. Immediately you think it is a heart attack, but little to your knowledge it is something much more.
You begin to change, growing horns, tails, and different coloured eyes. It is difficult to hide it from your family and friends.
Then one day, Death, the man in the myths you've been told all your life, confronts you and tells you the most powerful words you have ever heard in your entire life. Your father is none other than the Grim Reaper himself.
Uncover the magical events as scientists, churches, possessed entities and the whole world tries to discover what is really going on in the small town of Reaper, will you get caught or unravel the mystery?

Image

[i]This is where it gets fun. Basically your character is turning into an otherworld entity. Whether it’s a demon or something more. DON’T WORRY, you are able to turn back into a human, but you don’t know that yet ;) It can be anything, Gargoyles, veela’s, demonic animals…anything at all! Just make sure it isn’t too angelic and has an evil side to it, after all you are the child of the Grim Reaper!

Female One: Anita McMiller
Female Two: Falcon L. Jeanes
Female Three: Missy Lafayette
Female Four: Kiru Tamashi
Male One: Aeru "Axel" Kang
Male Two: Blaine Leazahr
Male Three: Leon Michael
Male Four: Adam Chase

Obviously the strange occurrences wont go unnoticed. Scientists have been interested in the town of Reaper for a long time, what will happen if they find out about the children?
(The scientists will have a big part in this roleplay, eventually they will be the ones the children are running away from. Who knows what type of tests they will do on them?)

Scientist One: Jaycee Light
Scientist Two: Melanie Anderson
Scientist Three:
(And more if interested)

Death is a very busy man, he cannot tend to his children and teach them the ropes, that's why he sends messengers from the otherworld. The Grim Reaper Messengers help the children on their journey of finding their true selves and learning how to deal with it.
The messengers have been around for years in the town of Reaper, watching the children grow and waiting for them to realise their true powers. Once this happens, they will meet the 8 kids and help them.
Messengers serve under Lord Death and must obey his every command. He was the one who saved the lost spirits and allowed them to interract within both worlds, as long as they pledged their loyalty towards him. Each spirit has a past, whether they were struggling humans from hundreds of years ago or animals that have formed together as one. With this everlasting power, they each have titles that represent them. The lost spirits are not only messengers of Death, but his friends, and he trusts his every will within them.
(Please reffer to Gintoki Sakata's character 'Sevan Raul' for more information!)

Pestilence: Sevan Raul 'The Chimera of Pestilence'
Famine: AuraBell Catalina Jade 'The Cat of Famine'
War: Mitanni Assur 'The Wolf of War'

There are also possessed entities, souls without a mind, insane spirits that just want food and will do anything they can to obtain it. These entities usually eat other lost spirits, so far the children are lost spirits, stuck inbetween the human world and otherworld. Luckily, the ward that was placed around Reaper destroys these possesions, but who knows what could happen.
I will mostly play these, but if there is anyone else who would like to help go ahead :)

(NOTE: If there are more people wanting to join and the spots are all filled, just ask and I may make exceptions if you're nice!)

SUNDAY 7:24AM
The Beginning

The wind was strong and shook the sea wildly against the edges of the rocky shore that outlined the quiet, peaceful town of Reaper. The air was fresh, the sea was cold and the atmosphere felt edgey, almost ghost like. Today, a supposed lazy Sunday, would not be a lazy Sunday at all, instead 8 sleeping children would be rudely interrupted from their dreams by something tugging on their souls.

This is where a 19 year old girl, called Anita McMiller, would wake and find the early morning greet her with something quite horrible. Her sleepy eyes would now be awake with fear, something was not right; what was this pain in her heart? It was not a passing pain, instead something lingering and getting worse as her mind got used to the darkness that still slept over the town. Outside of her window the sky was grey, only a small slit of sun shone from the curtain of dark clouds. She knew today would rain and she had planned to sleep in, after all she had stayed up late last night reading her books filled with magical beings and demons that slithered through the pages.
Anita, scared and feeling sick, tried to stand and balanced herself on her bedside desk, instead her hand slipped on a book and she fell to the ground. Her head hit the edge of her bed and her legs were bent against the wall infront of her.
This was not right, she couldn't even stand. The pain in her heart got even worse, a headache started to form and she wasn't sure if it was because she was tired or if that was another problem. Her limbs were numb, she tried to call out to her family but no sound came, her throat was too dry to make anything more than a croak. She was panicking now, what was going on?
Her heart felt like it was being wrenched from her chest, tears were falling from her eyes now. She couldn't stand it any longer, she didn't think about anything, about what it could be, she just tried to move her limbs to crawl towards her bedroom door.
The headache thumped wildly and it became hard to see. Her hands hurt aswell, now that she had noticed. She could not crawl on them any longer.
Was she going to die? Not even a day ago she was planning a trip with her family to get out of town.
She looked down on the grey carpet and notices spots of red staining the ground bellow her. This was not good.
Looking at her hands again she could've sworn her fingers were growing, her fingernails looked like they were turning a dark red, almost black, colour. She didn't take much notice, thinking it was just the headache and blurry vision messing with her.
The pain got less now, but the room seemed as though it got more dark. A black snake-like shadow slithered across the floor infront of her and it caught her attention; what could it be? Now there were five...six black snake-like shadows slithering around her. One of them looked like they were rising up from the carpet and when she reached out her hand to touch it, a silky feeling overcame her fingers. So they were real.
Anita was panicking bad now, she didn't know what to do. The pain in her heart had gotten less though, so that was a relief. She still could not speak or stand, everything was still a blurry dark mess.
Then she realised...she must be dreaming, it would make sense, right?
This could not be real, none of this could be real. Her head began to spin and she collapsed on the floor, laying there to try and make it stop. The tendrills were brushing her face and she decided she quite liked the silky cold feeling they gave her.
She closed her eyes and soon she was back into a deep, painful, dreamless sleep.

Gazing up at the ceiling, Donovan lay on his bed and listened to his iPod. It was a Sunday morning, and the weather outside was miserable. Soon he became bored, so he switched off the music and placed it on his bedside table, before bouncing off his bed onto the carpet below.
Suddenly, though, he felt a heart wrenching pain in his chest. Immediately tears welled up in his eyes as the pain was unbearable. "Mu-" he began to shout, but then his voice died out and his throat became dry. It felt like his heart was on fire! Then, his vision began to go blurry and his whole body ached. It was mild at first, but soon the agony became almost as unbearable as it was in his heart. His head became dizzy and he fell to the floor, landing with a loud bump. He realised that he had now begun to bleed in various places, and as he stared up at himself in the mirror, despite his blurry vision, he noticed pointy ears sticking up out of his head and his eyes were gradually turning to a fiery red colour. What on earth was happening to him? He reached forward with his hand to try and pull himself forward and he glanced at his...claws! 'Surely this must be a dream' Donovan thought to himself. 'And if it is, please wake me up soon.' At that, he fell into a deep, deep, sleep.

((Sorry I copied a lot of your ideas, but I wasn't really sure what else to put!))

Adam sat up from his bed ready to begin the next day, reluctantly of course he let out a hesitant sigh a signal that he was ready to begin. His eyes slowly scanned his small apartment, several posters were scattered around, a mess was also evident he'd have enough to hire someone to clean it all up; that is if he wasn't supporting his family. He slipped out, his feet stepping on some of the trash below, he muttered incoherently "I hate Saturdays." while this usually meant a day off for most, he was always working which was something he resented severely. He found himself automatically getting up to the Bathroom, pushing the door open slowly he peered in his shower was in the corner of the room, while his sink opposite accompanied by a mirror. He walked over to the mirror, checking out his current appearance, bags under his eyes as usual but then again he was always working so he got little sleep.

For a split second Adam thought he could see something in the mirror, he wasn't sure what, but it was like something was watching him he went to make an exit quickly and cleanly but found he couldn't leave the room, it was like something was holding him here. Adam found himself turning around, he tried to resist doing so but he had no control he was like a puppet, his eyes focused back onto the mirror which mirrored something unnatural and Adam felt fear creeping up his spine, it was like a warped and corrupted version of himself: it had pulsing red eyes which glowed, its skin was a lot paler then his, its hair was also darker and he was sure it was taller then him. Although ludicrous Adam felt some connection with the beast in the mirror, like a synergy of sorts between them. He also felt a undescribable feeling, like something inside himself unlocking "What are you?" Adam questioned his voice cracked with fear, but Adam heard silence in response followed by his head it began aching, his eyes still focuses on the mirror, that thing it was smiling at him, he tried to scream but no sound escaped his lips, as he fell to the floor he began coughing up blood in large amounts, his eyes began to get fuzzy as he crawled up against the wall and moaned as the intense pain began to consume his body, until eventually his eyes fluttered shut and he passed out.

Leon stood quietly on the roof gazeing up at the stars before a shot of pain flew through his mind, he knew what this ment as he closed his eyes. As he opened them he was in a large pure white room, he knew this place like the back of his hand, he had been here many times before. A shadowy figure apeared in his view. "what do you want now?" questioned Leon coldly. The figure lifted it's boney hand and spoke, "set us free" it replied sinisterly, but almost desprately. Leon was shocked and stepped back "what?" he said before a pain struck in his chest. he quickly reopened his eyes back into reality. "ahhhhh" he screamed as the pain grew stronger. a small ring of fire apeared around leon`s wrist. "NO! go out" he shouted at he swung his hand around . it didn't matter the fire was flowing up his arm, he knew what was coming. the fire began to harden into armor. "Stop!!" with one last burst of energy the fire dispursed and leon slowly fell into the darkness that was his mind.

Many years ago, there had been another family who owned the house that Missy's family now resided in, and the son had build a tree house in the backyard. Missy had come to use this tree house, despite the rotting wood, rusty nails and unstable supports, as a place to hide away from her family. After dinner, her father had belted her for some perceived slight she had caused against him, spouting accusations of her possessing an attitude that was not to his liking. When he was gone, and she had soothed her tears, she slipped out of her bedroom window and ran to the tree in the backyard. She wasn't the most athletic of children, in fact she was one of the weakest children she knew, always in last place for foot races and never being chosen to play in any games. She didn't mind, they were just NPCs, programmed people who weren't real anyway. That was why they never picked her, she wasn't an NPC, she was a person.

Ascending the aging oak, she grabbed hold of the edge of the platform and struggled to pull herself up, as she had done dozens of times before. The feeling of safety immediately took upon her and she crawled to the sleeping bag she had found by the neighbors garbage years ago. This was her sanctuary, this was her real home. She crawled inside of the sleeping bag, curled her legs up to her chest and slowly drifted into her dreams.

The dreams were of wonderful things, of a big house with an orange grove, a beautiful shetland sheepdog, a room with toys and a family that treated her with love. It was a fairy tail, a beautiful something that she longed for with all her heart. The figure of her real mother appeared, "You don't deserve anything, you little wretch!" And as suddenly as her dream began, it was over. She sat awake, the tears already flowing down her cheeks. She tried to stop the tears, sniffling and wiping with her sleeve, but she couldn't. Her heart hurt too much. And her head, and everything else for that matter. Missy had no idea what to do, but she knew she could not cry out for help. The pain was becoming too much for her, she held her chest, which felt like it was bursting open.

Her eyes shut tight, Missy felt herself being squished inside of the tree house, she could feel the walls and the ceiling and they hurt as they squished her. She tried to cry out "Mommy" but a rush of flames fluttered out instead. With a sudden burst of weight and pressure the tree house burst apart, and Missy's nearly changed body crushed the tree down as well, splintering apart its three distinct branches and sending wooden shards scattering in all directions. She rolled onto her hands and feet and opened her eyes. Her skin was dark and scaly, and everything around her looked like it was tiny. She could only think of Alice in Wonderland.

Missy knew her parents were going to be angry with her, they would make sure they hurt her for breaking so many things. So she began to run, and running turned quickly into flying and she took to the air, eyes half closed. She flapped her wings viciously, not giving second thought to the fact that she was now flying and kept going till she found a place in the woods with no houses around. She settled down and folded her wings in, taking note of the terrible claws that now ended each of her scaled fingers. "I want to wake up now," she whined, her voice deeper and gravelly.

Axel was just walking out of school when his head suddenly spun and there was a piercing pain in his chest. He quickly grabbed a railing and held on tightly. The tall boy clenched his jaw to keep any sound from coming out and closed his eyes shut. What was this? He was in top condition. His doctor had said that he was one of the healthiest patients to ever come across... so why this sudden pain? It was excruciating and he tried to take a few slow breaths to calm himself down. When the feelin had finally subsided, he opened his eyes and took a startled step back. His nails... why were they so long and lethal looking?

Axel examined them quickly and in his haste, bit down on his tongue. It wasn't even that hard but he could feel the sharp tang of blood in his mouth. What the hell? Axel turned around to walk away when he caught sight of a thick black tail. Was that coming from the back of him? Impossible. Aeru Kang took a quick look around and was releived to see that there was no one around. Thank God he was able to leave class early. He pulled out the long black coat that reached his ankles and warpped himself into it tightly. He had to get home... before anything else happened.

Sevan was now working a Saturday morning, taking over for another bartender who was out sick. "Comon Sevi! Take a lurksie. She's real cute, right? EHEHEHE!" The drunk patron chuckled while flashing his cellphone in Sevan's face. There was a picture of a beautiful brunette woman with a dashing smile on it. "You don't say? She's is quite the beauty Joshua. If you're not careful, I might steal her for myself." Sevan chuckled lightly, while cleaning out a glass mug. "Wazzat? You wanna steak ma girl? Yur gonna haff ta fight meh first, bub!" Joshua stated before falling over. He was a regular at the Reaper's Pub, and Sevan has gotten to know him very well.

"Heh. Dumb drunk. Although. I find it funny that you work here, yet you never drink yourself." An older customer who was sitting next to Joshua commented. He was also a regular, but seemed to be a very observant one. "Oh! So you've noticed have you? Yes. It's true that I don't drink. But my brother Raul can compensate for that. Whenever I bring some liquor home for him, he guzzles it all down at once. Then he stays up all night, making me feel like I'm having the hangover." Sevan joked, while getting out from behind the counter to help Joshua back onto his seat. Except that he wasn't actually joking. It isn't unusual for Sevan to awake with a spliting headache every other morning. "My my. It looks like I'll have to call his sister to come pick him up again." Sevan shook his head at his now passed out friend.
"Heh. You sure do talk funny. Like an old-timey englishman, without the accent. And pardon me for saying so, but you and your brother's names sound a little weird to me as well." The older patron commented while starring in dissaproval of Joshua. "Ah. Well you see. My brother and I are actually from the Alps. Actually, I do believe we lived much farther south. The Underworld, you could say." Sevan said, putting on one of his winner smiles.

All of a sudden Sevan felt many strange sources of powers bursting throughout the town. 'It looks like it's finally happening, Sev. We should check it out! Let me take over!' Raul called out to him from within Sevan's head. It wasn't the first time Raul woke up while Sevan was still awake. Seeing as Raul spent most of his time sleeping anyway. 'Calm yourself Raul. You'll get your chance to burn your energy later. We have to notify Lord Death before we act.' Sevan responded, beggining to make his way towards the front door. "Jessica! Will you be fine on your own for the rest of the morning?" He called out to the waitress, who seemed to have already been ready to take over. 'She's a real busy body. And why do we have to consult that bastard for anyway? You don't have to follow his orders by the book all the time.' Raul stated, a little upset that Sevan didn't decide to take action yet. As soon as Sevan made his way out the front door, he turned the corner until he made it to an abandoned ally. He then stepped into the deepest shadows while closing his eyes, and concentrating his energy around his body.

When Sevan reopened his eyes, he was in front of a dark sinister-looking castle. It large structure cascaded along the bank of a river made of fire. The river Phlegethon. From far away the building could be mistaken for a small mountain range. "Simply breathtaking. Don't you think, Raul? As always, it's good to be home." Sevan said in absolute awe, as his flesh began to melt away and reform into his actual form. 'Sure. Whatever you say. Can we just get this over with? I don't want to be in Hades anymore than I have to be. Screw it. I'm going back to sleep.' Raul complained, before quickly drifting off. The fuzzy feeling in Sevan's head went away, signifying that Raul had indeed gone back to sleep. "Well at least I don't have to deal with him for now." Sevan stated to himself before walking towards the front gates of Castle Oblivion. Immediatly, the gates opened for Sevan. 'It seems that Lord Death has been expecting me afterall.' Sevan thought to himself, with a tinge of excitement.

He ignored all of the creatures and followers that resided in the castle. At the moment, he was only concerned with announcing the good news to Lord Death. Soon he made it to the thrown room. The doors opened as he stood before them. Sevan bowed his head downward, almost to where his snout touched the floor. The ram-head on his tail swished around playfully, as Raul still had control over at least that. 'It would seem as if Raul is having a particularly good dream.' Sevan thought quickly before he was addressed by a raspy-voiced creature. "The Chimera of Pestilence, Sevan Raul has come to see you, Lord Death." Compared to most of the other beings in Oblivion Castle, Sevan found "Norke", Lord Death's right hand the ugliest. Norke had bulging-red eyes. Skin so black, you would guess that he bathed in charcoal. He didn't even look all too powerful, as Norke was about the size of a rabbit standing upright. And his voice was almost unbearable. Sevan figured that Lord Death must have picked him out of every other entity, because he was the most gruesome. Although Sevan has seen far worse out in the scorching plains of Hades.
"Lord Death. I bring news reguarding your children. It seems they have finally awakened." Sevan smirked inwardly, desperatly awaiting his master's responce.

"Falcon!" A voice slurred drunkenly through the house. "Falcon!"

Falcon jerked awake. What was that sound? Straining her ears, she heard it again. "Falcon!" Falcon sat up. Her dad was home. Damn. Finally. Falcon had waited the whole night for him to come home. Getting up, she griped under her breath. She would leave him and apply to become a emancipated minor, but her dad depended on her too much. Leaving him would mean death.

Falcon walked into the living room. "Dad?" A figure staggered down the hallway, casting a long shadow along the wall. Falcon sighed and walked up to him. "Come on, let's get you into bed."

A few minutes and a lot of heaving later, Falcon finally left her dad snoring in his bed. Closing the door, she headed straight for the toilet. She turned on the tap and ran cool water over her hands. A tingling feeling ran through her. What is this?! Falcon closed her eyes in shock. A sharp pain shot through her body and her legs turned to jelly. She fell to the floor, her eyes still closed.

Finally, the feeling went, and Falcon summoned up the courage to open her eyes. The first thing she saw was an electric blue tail. Her eyed continued traveling up the tail. Apparently, her legs had disappeared and been replaced by a very real-looking tail. She still had her upper half of her body, but her legs were completely gone. Her hair had grown slightly longer, and she had webbed fingers. Shock raced through Falcon.

What the hell is this? Suddenly, her 'tail' tingled and turned back into her legs clad in jeans. Falcon stood up and gripped the sink tightly, trying to wrap her mind around this amazing revelation. She was unsuccessful. A fresh wave of dizziness swept over her and Falcon sank to the floor in a dead faint.

Leon awoke startingly fast, as he stood up he felt a shot of pain in his side. As he placed his hand on it he felt a warm felling, he was bleeding. "danm" he silently muttered as he looked up to the roof. he figured that he must have fell from the roof down to the road, while falling he must have cut his side on something on the wall. It did'nt matter anymore he needed to move, the people were surely going to hav seen a fire on the roof earlier. Leon checked that no-one was around before he lifted his coat and watched as his wound set alight and quickly healed, the fire did'nt stay very long either. As Leon walked out onto the road he noticed a parked van out of the courner of his eye, the lights were on. As leon walked slowly foreward he heard the van slowly trailing aftter him. He knew who these people were, it had to be them. Right after a paranormal scene, they were always there.

Leon quickly turned down a alley way and began running, fast. He had to get away, they had been following him ever since the orphanage. They could'nt catch him, he could'nt let them. Suddenly Leon noticed thin rings of fire around his ankles, he heard the van screech to a hault infront of the alley way. "danm" he thourght himself beofre a voice rang in his mind. "jump". The voice was fammiler it had to have been his power talking to him. Leon lept upwards, he was shocked he had jumped all the way up to the roof of the building next to him. "woah, thats new, what ealse can i do?" he questioned before running again. He was suprised once more, the rings allowed him some of his speed from his demon mode. He was jumping building like they were puddles in the road. But good things don't last forever, the rings dispursed half way through a jump, Leon fell heavily to the ground, where he hit a few bins and landed on the concrete 'hard'. Leon staggered up his head was a mess, he could'nt think staight he was in trouble, he could'nt activate his power not here, not now. So he ran as best he could. but his best now was not enough the van skidded to a hault infront of him andsomeone held some kind of gun out of the window, mabey it was'nt them. the person fired but only a small dart flew out of the barrel, Leon now knew it was them as his vision fadded to black.

Leon could hear voices and feel himeself being moved "Are you sure it's him?" questioned a female voice, "it has to be. out of the orphanage he is the only one without any genetic proof he died in the fire." replied a man in a strong tone. "But he seems to old." spoke another man. "his age is irellivant if it trully is the one we are after, the fire starter 'thing'" the first man struck back. "And if he's not?" questioned the women once more. "then we'll have no need of him, and we can dispose of him". The man said before Leon fell back into a deep sleep.
When Leon awoke he strained his eyes as he opened them into a bright pure white room, he was strapped to a small white table, like at the doctors. But he knew these people we're'nt here to help him. Leon struggled to break the Straps that held him down, but with no success. Someone in a white lab coat had walked in, they were checking all the equiptment by the table. "who are you?, Where am I?" questioned Leon as he continued to struggle, a voice spoke to him in his mind. "you should have freed us Leon", "thats why you knew they were comming for me," he replied back. "yes, but now we are trapped" leon knew what the voice ment as he looked up at the rest of the room, trying to find advantage points and weak zones in the structure. . "I'll get us out of this" he told his inner voice before he closed his eyes and thourght up a plan for escape.

She sighed and turned off the radio.
"No, it's so quiet and awkward without music," her older sister said from beside her. Jaycee rolled her eyes.
"Then you pick a station, Amaria. I'm trying to drive- hey!" The car in front of her had thrown something out the window, and it hit the car's windshield. Jaycee glared at them and rolled down the window, sticking her middle finger out, to which the car just honked it's horn in response.
"What is that?!" her sister asked, looking at the sloppy piece of paper smeared on the window. Jaycee glanced at it before looking back at the road.
"It's a McDonalds drive-through wrapper," she said with a slight shudder. Amaria's face of curiousity turned to one of horror.
"Eww! And it's on your car!" she squealed. Jaycee gritted her teeth. "For god's sake Amy! I'm trying to drive a bloody car here!" she yelled angrily. "Your lucky I even gave you a ride!" Amaria fell silent.

Jaycee parked the car infront of a dingy, three-storey house. "This is Hardgrove Home?!" Amaria's mouth dropped open. Jaycee looked down at her map, then back at the house. "Yup. Now get out," she said, practically pushing her sister out of the car. Amaria gave her a glare and went around to the boot of the car, taking out her luggage before trudging up to the house. Jaycee grinned at her and quickly drove off before Amy made her drive her back home. She's going to be having a lovely time at that holiday home, she thought with a slight chuckle. And she said her boyfriend was rich!

She arrived at her destination half an hour later, the town of Reaper, with a Rihanna song full blast. She took the keys from the ignition an got out of the car, grabbing her bags in the process. She used her foot to close the car door, then managed to pick up thefour bags she had brought, before entering the hotel.

"Hello, welcome to Almond Hotel, can I help you?" the clerk at the desk asked her. "Uh...I'm Jaycee Light. I booked a room," she replied in response. The clerk nodded and handed her a room key. "Room 603. Hope you enjoy your stay!" the clerk gave her a friendly smile, with which Jaycee replied with a sullen expression.

Mel walked casually into her hotel room, dropped the bag beside the desk and opened the laptop, starring at the screen emptily while it started, completely lost in thought.

She’d been up very early this morning. A very rare wild flower grew at the edge of the woods, and she’d needed tests and photos of it. She’d taken tests of the juices, the leaves and the pollen, and then prepared to take a few pictures for the rapport, but she’d been interrupted by the sound of flapping wings and a dark silhouette, making it too dark for the camera. Turning around she’d been astounded at the sight which met her eyes. Convinced she was seeing things, she’d done the only reasonable thing she could think of and pressed the button on the camera a couple of times. She’d watched the silhouette disappear over the trees, then taken the pictures of the flower she needed and decided to return the hotel, after all, she had been feeling a bit dehydrated lately, maybe she just needed a bit to drink…

A familiar melody told her the laptop was ready. She sipped some water from her cup and typed in the password, then connected the camera to the laptop. She watched the progress bar getting filled as the pictures were getting loaded unto the laptop. Pling! It was done. She opened the first picture and began clicking through the various pictures of plants she’d taken in Reaper. There weren’t that many yet, she was far from done here. Then she reached the silhouette. She’d expected it to not be there anymore but it was. The picture wasn’t very clear due to the sun being right behind the silhouette though, but the shape of the wings and the size of the silhouette didn’t remind her of anything she’d seen before. She clicked through the other pictures she had taken, but they weren’t any better. Not knowing what to do with them, but feeling pretty curios by now, she decided to seek advice from the only person she ever asked, she put them into a quick mail, explaining what had happened, and send it to the professor. Then began analyzing and writing that rapport about the tests from the flower.

The silence dragged onwards. Death was pondering his decisions carefully. The shrouded man studied Sevan Raul, the two spirits he trusted with all his non-existant heart.
"This is an interesting development," a dark, deep voice sounded from the hooded figure "Go, my dear friend, I predict they will be struggling with their new identities. It would be an inconvinence if the world of the living were informed."
He meant to stop, but instead added something more "I will be there when I can, take care of them until I am able to assist."

--

After a few hours, a loud knocking at her door became audiable to Anita. She opened her heavy eyes and found herself sprawled on the floor with a splitting headache. Slowly and painfully she lifted her body up from the carpet and swore when she saw blood stains beneath her. The knocking became more frequent.
"Annie!! Annie get up!! I made you breakfast Annie!" one of her little brothers, Jake, called. She tried to stand but her head was keeping her down with it's constant thumping.
"Thanks Jake," she cried out, her voice raspy and tired "I'll be there in a minute". Just like that the knocking had vanished and she heard little footsteps stumble down the hall.
Instantly she looked at her hands to see if what she saw last night was real. Her hands were fine.
She looked around her, for the slightest bit of slithering shadows. There was nothing.
Anita sighed and plopped on the ground again, exhausted. It must've been a dream, but then what are those bloodstains from? She couldn't explain any of it, her head was a mess. Slowly she peeled her body from the floor and stumbled across the room to the door. She opened it quietly, looked once, twice, and then tiptoed her way to the bathroom. She looked at her reflection, which looked pale and sick. Annie washed her face with warm water and thumbled around the medicine cabinet looking for painkillers of some sort. Darn, they were out. She would have to go to the chemist to buy some. Anita hadn't been there much, but she remembered it was close to the bar.
She got dressed carefully, scrunching up her pjamas and throwing them into the wash basket. She then brushed her hair and tried to look as normal as she could, she would deal with the blood stains later.
Opening the door, there was a slight movement behind her. She span around but saw nothing, and quickly ran to the kitchen, scared and worried she was going insane.

Missy began to cry, though no tears fled her reptilian eyes, and her weeping sounded like monstrous wailing. She was frightened and now completely alone and for the first time in a long while, she wished she was home. She settled down next to a boulder, shouldering it off to the side and sending it rolling and bouncing downhill. She turned to look at the boulder, having intended to rest against it, she was quite surprised at her strength, but then again she was heavier than two semi-trucks and had the muscle to be able to fly and keep herself aloft.

She lowered her head down and closed her eyes, drifting to sleep again. For now she was able to rest, and sleep came easy for her. Her panic and fear faded away and her form slowly shrank and collapsed until she was just a small little body laying on ground scoured clean of any plants of insects. Her draconic nothing more than a strange dream, a simple path of sleepwalking, or so she could tell herself.

The boulder she shoved aside would tell a different story, its path crushing trees and splintering wood, sending branches flying through the air like shrapnel, impacting the landscape and leading any would be hikers right to the spot where she lay. The boulder's path was halted only by another rock, only a bit smaller than it, and the two connected with a terrible slam, enough to send all the nearby birds flying away in a panic.

Leon did'nt notice them sticking a needle into his arm while he planned and escape but the part where he opened his eyes and payed attention came next. No-one, he could'nt be matched to anyone. how did he get here then, someone had to have beared him, to be here. so no-one, not even somone dead was related to him, he was on his own, Again. So Leon had enough, he was out, he could feel the rings of fire around his ankles and wrists 'turn on', he pushed with little stress and broke out of the restraints and lept over to the door and smashed through it, he entered a large hallway, he turned his head to left then to the right where he saw a fire exit sign, He shot of like a bullet down the hallway following each sign, Hallway after hallway until he found the door, He heared a gunshot behind him, then he felt a sharp pain in his keg, "Son of a.." he shouted as he burst through the door into the world. Leon quickly ran down to the nearest alleyway and sat down with his back against the wall, he drew up his trousers and watched his wound bleed, Leon had to get the bullet out, he pushed his fingers into the wound and slowly pulled the bullet out. Leon was gritting from the pain, "bloody can't die but pain is normal" he muttered to himself. before he once again saw the wound set alight then heal, then go out. Leon got up and walked down to the bar, where he quietly sat on the stool and ordered a bottle of vodka. He picked it up and walked out of the bar and began to drink it in the alleyway next to the bar. "what the hells going on?"

Adam's eyes slowly opened and was followed by a low groan, it took a while for his eyes to adjust but when they did they snapped open looking at the sight his bathroom was in: several tiles were shattered, their reminiscent shape broken. On the floor blood was also draped along like obscene decorations, his eyes wandered down he felt numb by his torso, and he nearly hoarsely screamed but he held his breath, he felt fear creeping up again but this time he silenced it with a more rational thought: he had to examine his body, see if there was any serious damage. Adam pushed himself up against the wall, grunting as the numbness around his torso was broken and pain began to fill his wound. Adam lifted the remains of his t-shirt which was caked in blood, and saw three parallel scratches they weren't that deep, but they were visible and leaking blood, they ran down his side, and so did a brief moment of fear. His eyes automatically twitches, scanning the area for that thing after a couple of minutes had passed he was satisfied, he was almost certain it was gone.

Adam paused the current events had disturbed him greatly, what was that thing? Am I crazy? his mind echoed trying to justify the thing he saw, but there was no justifications noway to say it was just a trick of the eyes, noway to say he was crazy because deep down he knew that thing was real, he didn't no how to explain it but there was something inside him which convinced him this was no trick, and honestly he would have to be insane to thing he caused these marks himself although they weren't very deep, they weren't even remotely human, no nails could do that. Adam slowly pushed himself up against the wall, the occasional wince and flare of pain but other then that he was fine. He walked over to the door frame by the bathroom, holding the door frame for support, his eyes once again twitched nervously.

At that precise moment Adam heard the phone ring, and had never jumped so hard in his life it felt as if his skin had come loose and he was ready to run like an Olympic sprinter, he rolled his eyes in a melodramatic position, and tried to calm his racing heart. Adam slowly limped over to the phone, and picked it up gently and spoke into it, trying to mask his current voice which was ragged with fear, and slight pain he spoke into it "Hello? Adam here." and was followed by an angry replied from his second boss who yelled into the Phone, "Adam where the hell are you! You were supposed to be here an hour ago!" Adam paused for a moment, he had lost an hour and readjusted his voice once more "Sorry, sorry," he spoke into it trying to think of an acceptable excuse before his mind clicked into place, "I had a rough night, was attacked by some sort of animal. Just got out of hospital I won't be able to come in today." it was the perfect excuse for his current situation, he even had the injuries to back up his claim, there was silence on the other end before his boss replied roughly with a more sympathetic tone "Oh are you okay?" he continued not waiting for Adam's answer, "I heard about some animals around here lately, I hope you can make it Wednesday. Take care." it was followed by the dismissive beep, and Adam relaxed his Boss probably wouldn't enquire about the Hospital but his current injury should be enough proof. Adam yawned roughly before changing into a new shirt, one that was a blue he also put on a leather jacket, before opening his door and walking out onto the street. He didn't want to be anywhere near his Apartment at the moment as it gave him chills of some sort.

Jaycee Light

After she had entered the elevator - the bellboy lagging behind, she only had four bags, for god's sake, what kind of a man was he? - she had headed up to her room, a large en-suite with a kitchen/living room and a bedroom through a doorway, which actually had no door. Through the bedroom was another door, this one led to the bathroom. And it was in her room that she was, sprawled across her bed as she typed some andom letters in the google search engine as she looked for inspiration, when the dark shape flitted across her window.

She didn't take any notice of it at first - after all, what was it but a shadow of a bird, or a trick of the light? But when it happened the second time, she jumped up immediately. She had always been a bit paranoid about this sort of thing, ever since she supposedly heard her deceased grandfather whisper her name. But as far as she was concerned, better safe than sorry - and better paranoid than dead.

She was slowly approaching the window when she became aware of the faint sound of something...dripping.
Drip.
Drop.
Drip.
Drop.
Drip.

Her head swivelled to the bathroom, the source of the noise. Worried about a leaking tap, she scoffed. Classy. But she couldn't help herself, she turned towards the bedroom and walked towards the dor, opening it with a creak. She glanced in the room and gave a scream.

Blood. Dripping from the sink in small tear shaped drops. She stumbled out of the bathroom, falling on her butt, before scrambling to her feet. God, she chose the wrong day to wear heels, and her short drees wasn't helping to hide herself. As quickly as she could, she ran out of the bedroom, grabbing her laptop from the bed first, and ran to the elevator.

Kiru sat at her computer desk, typing the third chapter of her fiction fantasy book after seeing her sister off to a date. Hailey seemed rather excited to be going on a date and Kiru was happy for her. She let out a sigh as she came to a part where she couldn't find the wording right and hit the 'save' button. "So bored.." she said aloud and pushed herself away from the desk and stood up. She made her way over to her bedroom door, stepping over books, clothes, stuffed animals, and crumpled papers on the way. She made her was down stairs and into the kitchen. If Hailey was here I could get her to make me something.. She thought to herself and let out a sigh as she opened the refrigerator door. She reached in a grabbed the milk and untwisted the lid. Closing the door behind her, she walked over to the counter with the milk jug to make herself some chocolate milk. She suddenly felt a stabbing pain in her chest and collapsed onto the tiled floor, sending pain shooting up her knees and causing the milk jug to splatter all of the floor. What's wrong with me!? She thought to herself as she felt her stomach twist and her head began to throb intensely. She fell over onto her side and pulled her knees to her stomach and wrapped her arms around herself. It felt as if her body was being twisted and broken into a million pieces. Her shoulder blades felt as if someone was digging a chainsaw into them and her head had begun to feel wet.

"Stop!" she screamed and clutched her chest. She opened her eyes and looked back, catching a glimpse of something black sprouting from her back before closing them again and resting her head on the cold tile. What is happening to me!? She screamed inside of her head and pulled herself into a tighter ball, tears seeping from her tightly shut eyes and rolling down off her cheeks. She began to feel light headed and she felt her body start to go numb. Then she felt herself slip into nothingness.

Kiru opened her eyes slowly and stared at the kitchen cupboard. The room was dark and the only light was from the stove clock. She slowly turned her head to look at the time. 8:00am? She thought to herself and slowly sat up, wondering where her sister was. Her head was spinning and her back was tingling and her legs felt shaky but regardless of that, supporting herself with the kitchen counter, she picked herself up of the ground. Her eyes widened in shock at the site of blood on the floor where she had been laying and she took a couple steps back and took a deep breath. "Hailey!" she cried out, her voice shaking. There was no reply and she guess her sister had stayed over night at her dates house. She rushed to the bathroom down the hallway, kicking the empty milk jug aside as she left the kitchen, and stared at herself in the mirror. Her hair was wet with blood and her back was also stained with the red liquid, though it was already taking a brown color. Her skin was paler than usual and she felt she had a tint of green in her eyes. "What the hell..happened.." she whispered, then quickly picked up a wash rag. She had to clean up the mess in the kitchen, then she'd take a shower and clean herself after taking some Tylenol. She had to make sure her sister didn't see any of this.

Silence. The man took a deep breath as he slowly let his hands fall to his sides. His eyes danced around the room, taking time to learn about his surroundings. This was a ritual he repeated often and even though he knew this dojo by heart, this helped him calm down. The room he stood in was fairly large. The wooden floors were perfect for sliding and gripping at once. One side of the room, meaning one of the walls, was a large mirror. The rest of it was Japanese style architecture. Windows let the sun light pierce into the dark room. The smell of essence filled the room. Burning wood. The smell of a fire. A smell that Mitanni had come to love. He breathed in again, taking the scent into his lungs. In front of him stood a large wooden cylinder. It stood taller than him and was 20 inches wide. At his side, was his trusty katana. The room was silent, only his breathing could be heard. The sounds of children playing outside and chirping birds only added to the effect that he searched. Peace. His face straight and his pose perfect, he reached for the hilt of his katana.
The following happened in slow motion for Mitanni. He pulled out his katana. At the same time, one foot went backwards and the other one slowly bent forward, giving him a solid stance. He blade, now fully released from its sheath, slice through the air. In one motion, the blade of the Katana met with the wooden structure. As if it was butter, the blade cut through the wood. Mitanni’s stance was perfect. His muscles were flexed and his breathing was slow. His heart was beating quickly and his blood rushed in his body. His face had never changed. It had stayed the same all this time. For what seemed like minutes, but was actually a second, the blade sliced through the wooden structure. As the other piece slowly fell to the ground, Mitanni brought his bent leg backwards and following his swords slicing motion, spun it back into its sheath.

CLANG! The wooden piece fell to the ground, breaking the silence. Mitanni blinked and sighed. He slowly bent down to pick up the piece of wood and threw it in his large container which would find its way into the garbage one day. β€œWell...guess nobody feels like training today” he said as he looked over to the door, which had stayed closed all day. Walking to the wall, he pulled on a string which opened all the windows. Flicking on a switch, he opened all the lights in the dojo. He slowly started walking to the changing rooms when he felt bursts of energy all over Reaper. β€œIts time” he thought. β€œSevan and Raul must be feeling it also” He quickly walked back to the light switches and the string. Closing the lights and pulling the string, the Dojo was left once again in darkness. Walking out of the dojo and slinging on his leather trench coat, he locked the door and walked in back of the building where no one would see him. Closing his eyes, he slowly let his energy take over him.

When he opened his eyes he was on four legs in the underworld. In his β€œDemonic Wolf” form, he slowly walked into the castle, ignoring the people who made way for him. He was well known in the underworld for being Lord Death’s weapon. Slowly finding his way to his lord. He was hoping to Sevan Raul as well, a messenger he had not seen in a long time. As he entered, a creature announced his entry. β€œMitanni Assur, The Wolf of War, has arrived my Lord” Mitanni took a few steps forward and spoke β€œIt seems your children have awakened my Lord”

Sevan was delighted to hear that Lord Death seemed intrigued by his news. It wasn't every day that he had seemed so interested in Sevan's briefings.
"Go, my dear friend, I predict they will be struggling with their new identities. It would be an inconvinence if the world of the living were informed." Sevan almost lifted his head when his master had stopped speaking, but halted as it seemed Lord Death had more to say.
"I will be there when I can, take care of them until I am able to assist." Sevan opened his eyes in surprise. It was rare for his master to leave the Underworld off business like this. He quickly lifted his head, to lay eyes upon his master. Even Sevan and the other trusted followers of Death have yet to see their master's true appearence before. It would be a lie if Sevan said he never wondered what lied behind that black cloak.

All of a sudden a new visitor came through the doorway. β€œMitanni Assur, The Wolf of War, has arrived my Lord” Norke announced in his ditestable little voice.
"Aw. Mitanni. It has been a while since I have seen you last. Raul has been missing his old sparring pal greatly." Sevan took a moment to chuckle before continuing.
"Reunions aside. I have already alerted Lord Death of the situation as you can see. Lord Death, I'm guessing you have more important matters to deal with then listening to us chitchat, so I will talk with Mitanni outside, if you would please excuse us." Sevan motioned his head sideways as to signal that he had something urgent to tell Mitanni.

He then made his way outside the door and it closed on its own. "There is one thing that I find quite interesting about all of this. If my memory serves me correctly, Lord Death told us of seven children. But I felt an eighth source of power. Did you not?" Sevan stopped as he scanned the hallway for any prying eyes.
"I was also told that other than us there was a 3rd messenger. The messenger of Famine, yes? Perhaps he or she might take interest in this eighth power as well. I am not absolutely certain, but I have felt flickers of power over the past 20 years at the most random times. Whenever Raul and I attempt to investigate the energy dissapears before we even walk out the door. Strange indeed. But it seems this time that we might be able to catch the culprit. Are you up to it?" Sevan asked Mitanni as he relunctantly changed back into his human form. "I myself shall attempt to rally the rest of the children. I guess it would be best to start with the youngest. Lets see... What was her name again... Missy Lafayette! That was it!" With a short wave, he bid farwell to Mitanni. "See you on the other side, my old friend." The next thing Mitanni knew Sevan had dissapeared in a flash of his energy. After traveling through dimensions for over hundreds of years, Sevan has gotten pretty quick at it.

"Well it looks like it is finally time... I wonder how she got in an area like this. I'm sure I felt the energy source come from here." Sevan sighed as he scoped out the rocky terrain in the middle of a forrest near the town. "Perhaps she's the explorative type." Sevan pressed up his glasses, as they were about to slip off. All of a sudden he felt a familar fuzzyness inside his head. 'Oh no...' Sevan thought in utter distain. 'Why are you looking for the little girl first, anyway? You a pedophile or something?' Raul woke up laughing like an imbecile.
"I see you are making use of the speech patterns they use in current-day society, Raul." Sevan replied, trying to keep a cool head.
'Well duh. I don't live in the past like you! You've gotta learn to get with the times, Sev.' A typical Raul reply. 'You should let me take over. I can find her way faster than you anyway.' Raul tried persuading Sevan, although doing a horrible job at it. "Good luck with that. You would probably crush her body as soon as you find her just to vex my master, wouldn't you?" Sevan said, now getting very irritated.
'Ah! How'd you know?! We really have been together for too long. Its getting kind of creepy how well you know me.' Sevan could imagine Raul pointing his finger in a motion going into his throat to simulate barfing. "Listen you insignificant-" Sevan began before Raul cut him off. 'Heads up slowpoke. Little girl at 12:00!' Raul chuckled, feeling he has once again bested Sevan. "Well what do know. There she is." Sevan simply said before walking over to her. 'Is she sleeping? Hold her nose. That'll make her wake up.' Raul adviced, even though he knew how Sevan would respond. "As if I would use such vulgor efforts to wake of a child of my master." Sevan replied scoldingly.
"Excuse me, young miss. But would you mind waking up for me?" Sevan said in the kindest voice he could muster, while gently nudging Missy's arm.

Missy woke up slowly, opening one eye and looking at the figure that was over her, she sat up and rubbed at her eyes. Her head felt like it was spinning, and she whined in discomfort from having slept on the ground. As she wiped the dust from the corners of her eyes and looked up at the man who had woken her up, her eyes saw the woods behind him. "Where are we? Are you the prince?" She asked, her mind still floating with thoughts from her dreams. She looked up at the sky and felt a chill run down her back, she looked back to him looking sad, "This isn't a dream anymore is it? You don't look like you're an NPC."

She slowly got up off the ground and looked around and then back at him, "Um, do you know where we are? I'm not supposed to go far away from..." Her eyes widened as she remembered how she got here. She immediately began to worry about what was going to happen to her because she broke the tree house and damaged the yard and then she left home in the middle of the night. Her eyes filled up with tears and she began to cry profusely.

Kiru spent two hours scrubbing the dried blood from the floor and didn't get out of the shower until noon came around. She couldn't get the smell of iron out of her air as much as she scrubbed so eventually she had just given up. While in the shower she realized she had a scar on each of her shoulder blades and another scar on her tail bone as if someone had cut her long ago and left a mark. She tried to recall ever seeing the scars before or maybe she had fallen a while ago, but she couldn't think of any way the scars could've gotten there. After getting out of the shower she put on her normal clothes and tried calling her sister. There were a few short rings before her sister answering machine picked up 'Sorry can't come to the phone I'm probably busy or something just give me a call later or leave a message bye! After the long beep Kiru clutched the phone tightly. "Hailey please pick up. Something happened I don't know what but I'm really scared and don't know what to do." She muttered, her voice a little shaky, then she put the phone back on the line and took a couple steps back, leaning herself against the kitchen counter. As she did this, she heard something on her wrist make a little 'clink' noise as it hit the marble counter top. Kiru lifted her wrist and looked at the new thing on her wrist. It seemed like a wire bracelet with a little charm hanging from it.

Where the heck did I get this thing from? She thought to herself, reaching over and trying to slip the bracelet off, but couldn't get it over her hand. Then she tried the clip, but as hard as she pressed with her thumb it seemed as if it was stuck. She let out a sigh and ignored the bracelet, walking into the living room and slipping on her sneakers. She decided that maybe if she could get some fresh air her throbbing headache would go away. The Tylenol she had taken earlier had never kicked in and the hot shower didn't do anything for her head. She Opened the front door and left the house, making sure to pick up her disposable camera and lock the door behind her, and walked down the street. It was a little warm outside but there was a cool breeze in the air as well. Though the day seemed beautiful, she couldn't help but get this uneasy feeling about everything going on. What had happened to her back there? Where did the scars come from? Where did all the blood come from? All these questions kept flowing through her head, not really helping with her headache. She shook off the questions the best she could, but she kept getting the feeling of butterflies in her stomach. Was she nervous about something?

Kiru had no idea. She turned the corner and walked down a long stairway that lead to the beach. As she finally made her way down onto the sand, she pulled the camera from her jacket pocket and snapped a picture of the ocean as she approached it. She walked down the beach for quite a while, picking up a few sea shells and stuffing them in her shorts pocket on the way and listening to the sound of the waves and seagulls. After walking for quite a while, her headache had begun to ease a little bit and she was starting to feel better and less light-headed. She finally came to her favorite spot; part of the beach where rocks cluttered together to create tide pools and the rocks went a little further out into the sea. She climbed over the rocks and went out onto the highest one and sat down, taking another picture of the ocean, then letting out a sigh. She was still too confused about what happened earlier to take any decent pictures, and she felt like she had already taken too many pictures of the ocean anyway. He headache had started to come back and, reaching up to feel where it was hurting most, she realized there were actually two very small bumps on her head like she had fallen over and hit something.

"Annie! I made you some eggs!"
Anita looked closely at the...cow shaped omlette. It had been slightly burnt and parts of it were falling apart, not to mention the bread under it was soggy from the oil seeping through. She couldn't help but laugh, and ate it quickly much to her brothers delight. Her other younger brother, George, came running down the hall and skidded on the kitchen tiles, almost falling and crashing into the table.
"Slow down, racing car. Eat up, Jake made breakfast. Hey, do you know where Mom and Pete went?" she stuffed the last piece of bread into her mouth and talked with her mouth full, it was a habit from living with two younger brothers. George only shrugged "I 'unno, I think mom said something about gardening," he ate into the omlette, a little reluctant to eat the dog shape on his plate.
"Shes gone shopping then? Okay, I'm going out for a while, will you two be alright by yourselves? If you want you can go down to your friends' place while I'm gone, I'll pick you up when I get back". The two boys nodded and ate quietly.

After breakfast she dropped Jake and George at a small house down the road and kept walking down the street. In a few minutes she would be in town. Her head still hurt badly but she had tried to ignore it while talking with her brothers, only now that she was concentrating and awake was the pain becoming unbearable. She lifted her hand to her throbbing head and from the corner of her eye saw a thin shadow slither past her. Anita swore and glanced around her, but no one had seen. Another slithering shadow shot past, and another, and another. She swore again and stomped her foot, not sure what to do. They were following her, at least what she thought. I am going insane, she sighed.
A slithering shadow shot past a little girl, which caught the girls eye. To Anita's luck the little girl laughed and pointed it out, but by the time the mother turned to look the shadow had vanished and the poor girl was ignored.
A friend of hers yelled at her from across the street, and it took her a few times to realise someone was calling out to her. She waved, and as she did a small shadow few off her fingers and landed on the ground with a thud. Annie looked closely, glaring at the pest who just ran around on the concrete and formed into her own shadow.
"This isn't funny," she whispered.
The girl walked quickly and kept looking over her shoulder, almost certain little black snakes were following her. It was only when she swung her body around a corner into an alleyway when she stomped the ground and the shadows all came out at once, swallowing her into a black mess. She yelled in surprise "Stop it!" and span around wildly to get them off. The shadow, as it seemed, had a personality of its own.
She realised after spinning wildly that the shadows were following her every move. When she flung her arm out to the right, they followed, same with the left, and this left her confused. She touched the wall and a black smudge covered the bricks until she took her hand away. It was strange, and she felt silly, but she was sure that she was controlling the shadows.
As a test she flexed her hand and the shadow drank up her hand, turning it almost invisible in the dark alleyway. She flexed her hand a bit more and the shadow moved up her arm slowly until her whole arm was covered in darkness. It felt cold and nice, almost like a glove made of water. Then, as suddenly as it started, the shadow slithered away from her arm and disappeared from her sights. She tried to call it back, stomping, spinning, pointing at walls, flexing her arm but to no avail. It was gone.
She was insane.
Quickly she ran out of the alleyway and sprinted to the chemist, despite her headache, to grab some painkillers. Anita tried to look for some hallucination pills aswell but you needed to see a doctor before you could buy them, so instead she bought the painkillers and walked fast paced out of the shop. She span into a close by alleyway, near the bar, and swallowed two little white tablets without any water. She slumped against the wall and sighed, trying to get a hold of her thoughts. It was only when she heard shuffling when she realised someone was watching her.
Anita looked up with a snap, and saw her watcher. A man in his early 20's, drinking a bottle of vodka. She blinked once, twice, and looked away suddenly, feeling stupid and embarrassed. She stuffed the pills in her pocket and tried to wait for the pain to leave her head.

Aurabell sat at a little blue table outside off a nice little ice cream shop. The shop had large glass windows and a glass door, a checkered floor, light blue walls with multiple pictures of flowers and candy, and the little, light blue, round tables each had a little lacy white table cloth. The young girl, in her almost doll-like pink dress and top hot, leaned her elbows on the table outside that was placed in front of one of the glass windows and took a large scoop out of her hot fudge sundae and stuck it in her mouth, enjoying the nice cold feeling of it melting away on her tongue.

"Aren't you supposed to be working!"

She jumped a little and bit down on the silver spoon at the sound of a familiar voice that belonged to a woman. She looked up to see her boss leaning out of the glass door with an some-what jokingly irritated expression on her face. "Oh, yes ma'am!" The girl squeaked and, standing up, picked up the wooden sign she had placed at her feet that had the words 'Fudge Sundae Half Priced!' written on the red surface in white, cursive paint. Aura gave her boss a cute smile and shot her a peace sign with her left hand. "I've got it all under control! And anyway it's your fault. You brought me the ice cream!" The girl said with an innocent smile and then waved at a young man as he walked past, though he payed her no heed.

"Yea, to show off what is on sale. And besides you always look so cute when you eat ice cream. You don't realize it but you stare off into space with this funny grin on your face and you'll sit there with the spoon in your mouth for like ten minutes."

The woman laughed and then turned to enter the shop again.

"You need to talk if you wanna get people to notice you Bell!"

She called before the bell rang and the door shut softly. Aura blushed a little at the comment of the way she ate ice cream. "I do not space out!" She yelled, causing a woman with a child across the street to give her a weird look before continuing on. Aurabell let out a little sigh, just then feeling this strange sensation rush over her. "So Mr. Deaths little munchkins have finally woken up?" She whispered with a light smile. "Maybe now I'll get to meet Mr. Deaths other friends too!" She said, a little louder this time and her smile widening more. She'd never met war or pestilence yet. "I wonder what they're like and if they'll be fun to play with!" she said, giving a small giggle. "Anyway I should go and see one of Mr. Deaths children and introduce myself. After all I love making new friends." She said, setting the sign down on the table and taking a few more bites of the sundae before walking over and opening the big glass door of the ice cream shop. "Miss Ryder, I'm going to go home early today okay. I'm not feeling very good." She said. The woman, who was wiping off the counter behind the cash register, just waved and nodded as if she was expecting it.

Aurabell closed the door and began to make her way down the sidewalk, skipping a little and humming to herself, the gold buckles on her jacket clinging as the bumped into each other. Who should I visit first? She thought to herself, and then decided it would probably be best to see who the other two were visiting first, though she had no idea where they were. She knew she would recognize them if she were to see them, but found the idea of searching all over town boring. As she walked down the street and passed multiple houses, she started to pass what seemed like a high school of sorts, but seemed to be still in session. As she looked across the street she noticed a young man looking rather confused and her eyes widened a little. This was one of them for sure. She looked both ways before skipping herself across the street and jumping in front of the boy with a friendly smile on her face. "Excuse me what's your name?" She asked in her light-toned, sweet voice.

Leon watched Anita quietly and carefully as he noticed somthing new, he could see a red outline around he body, 'she's a demon' said the inner voice of his power. 'what!' Leon seemed shocked this harmless frightned girl, she ccould'nt be. But he was more shocked about his semmingly new abillity to tell a demon from humans. He liked it, Alot. Leon stood up and watched her reaction, she seemed to be normal enough, but if his power told him she was a demon he was'nt going to let it go, he focused on her until he practicly remembered he face off by heart. Before he walked round the corner and into the bar he spoke towards her "thouse wont help, Trust me", in the bar he sat down on the stool and placed the bottle down, a lively young lady walked in and swapped his bottle for a fresh one. "on the house Leon", the woman said cheefully as she scruffed leon's hair alittle: Katie, a woman in her early 20's mabey 23, 24, it really did'nt matter Leon had only ever had two loves in his life, Alcohol, since he was 18 and Katie, since he could drink. Image :katie.

"any luck with your parents?" the question that Leon did'nt want to hear, "no" he replied quietly. "don't get down you'll get somthing i'm sure of it" she continued before taking somones order. Leon picked up his drink and walked around the town before feeling strange, he knew the feeling. An extremely old and strong demon, no mabey two. It did'nt matter Leon had to find it mabey it could take him to the 'underworld' to see if he could find his parents in the realm of the dead. Leon sprinted off faster than a bullet towards the forest.

#, as written by Evita
ClickClickClickClick the impatient and usually annoying sound of a pen breaking the silence. in out in out. Mel had decided to take a break from the rapport writing. She was always too impatient to wait for new answers from other students and professors. She couldn't concentrate anyway, her eyes kept moving slowly down to the corner of the screen, which would show a small letter when a new mail arrived. Not long ago the icon had shown up and Mel had clicked it excitedly, only to find that it was a younger student asking her for help. She let out a disappointed sigh, and leaned back in her chair. Realizing it felt like watching grass grow, she decided she might as well go outside. Fresh air was supposedly good for the mind. She went out of the hotel and walked out to the edge of town.

Mel grabbed the coat to cover herself from the wind, the wind was blowing pretty hard as there was nothing much out here to stop it. It was the edge of town which was turned towards the sea. She could even smell the salt up here. she walked out near the edge and looked down, wondering how far it was to the water... 20 m? 30? more maybe? not a jump she'd suggest anyone took. She looked over towards the woods where she'd seen... that... nothing now even suggested something like that had flown past there... Then she turned, looking back at Reaper. You could see from one edge to the other from here, it seemed so much smaller now, than when standing within it. She shook her head as a guy walked by with a bottle of something which looked like vodka. Guess some people enjoy wasting brain cells... with that she decided enough time had been wasted, and she began her walk home, a strong wind and a glimpse of light as some one rushed past her, leaving her looking puzzled in the direction of the woods where they'd disappeared.

Apparently she'd forgotten to close the computer before she left, because it was op en now... oh well... like it really mattered, the door had been locked all of the time, and what would people want from her laptop anyway? then she noticed the little in icon in the corner, a mail had arrived. Remembering the last disappointment clearly, Mel casually opened the mail, but froze in excitement as the professors name turned up in the sender box, and the topic showed it was a comment on what she'd seen to that thing she'd seen, she quickly clicked open and began reading the relatively short message.

Most recent OOC posts in My Daddy Death

Re: My Daddy Death.

was this gonna be remade or?

Re: My Daddy Death.

Man I haven't [posted in a while =( Sorry bout tht. It seems everyone has been super busy lately. I've started a job now and studying for a entry test so I;ve hardly had any time to get on.

Re: My Daddy Death.

Yo! If anyone is still looking on this OOC, I'm like really desperate to get people to join this revamp of a revamp of an rp(3rd attempt). This attempt isn't as successful in getting people as the 1st 2, and those 2 didn't even have a major plot... So plots must be the death of all rps... A successful rp must not have a plot! :O
Nah. Jk. xD
But seriously, join people! roleplay/e-p-i-c-reborn-the-milele-jua/

Re: My Daddy Death.

I agree with staying on this RP. Just been busy...finals have been gone awhile ago, but SATs are biting my butt right after.

Re: My Daddy Death.

This is an AWESOME idea! If you decide to go ahead and do a reboot, let me know. I'd love to get in on this :)

Re: My Daddy Death.

i'm trying to find space for posting, but i'm kinda thinking if this is restarting anyway i'll wait for it to happen?

Re: My Daddy Death.

Let me know too! I like this rp and would like to stay in it :)

Re: My Daddy Death.

Phew. Just got past test one. Thats cool Kiyo. Once you remake the rp just tell me, and I'll resubmit my character. We should be able to pick up where we left off in this rp if we have the neccissary characters in the new rp to do so.

Re: My Daddy Death.

I was thinking of restarting this rp. Make it a bit more detailed in the next one, add more things etc.etc. I haven't done much because Ive been busy and sick, so I'm sorry.

Re: My Daddy Death.

Ah. So we still have willing posters. I was still comprehending if this rp was dead or not. I won't be able to post within this week, seeing as my mom is riding my ass to study for the finals in 2 days(not including this 1 or the day of the 1st final). I only have to take 3-4 of them. 3-4 cause if I turn in my review, plus the extra credit I did for Geometry, then my grade should bump up to a B, making me exempt. The problem with this, is that we're turning in the extra credit the day of the Geometry final, so if it turns out I still have to take the test, then I'm screwed(BECAUSE I AINT STUDYIN FOR DAT SHIT! >:O). Anywayz. Keep posting, and I might rejoin you. But I'll tell you guys, when I have officially claimed this rp dead(in my eyes ^_^).

I'll check it out when I have more time, Sukai. xD

Re: My Daddy Death.

Hey guys! check out this rp! It's really different but pretty cool too!

roleplay/odd-werewolves/

Re: My Daddy Death.

Sorry I have not posted lately!! I will post tomorrow just so everyone knows =) I'm really busy today!

Re: My Daddy Death.

XD It's okay Ergent!!! I still love uuuuu!!! ^^ I understand though I've got a lot of crap going on too and it can be stressful.

Re: My Daddy Death.

I'm sorry for the long wait, I've posted again for Falcon. Sorry, I hope you'll all put up with me.

Re: My Daddy Death.

Darn! Looks like the world doesn't want this rp to have 8 children! Ohwell, we'll just stick with 7.

Sorry, Ive been waiting for the plotline to move a little bit before I post again, so I will be posting shortly. Thanks to everyone for still sticking with me!

Re: My Daddy Death.

Splurge, forgive me HereMe! Finals, SATs, and internship opportunities are all stabbing my face. I was able to make a mediocre post, but don't worry, better ones as soon as I can!

*flail*

Re: My Daddy Death.

I'll prob go for HereMe and Ergent, then if someone else doesn't get the other ones then I'll try and get to them too.

Re: My Daddy Death.

Dayum. That happen a few mins ago? We need another 8th child Kiyo. xD
Yeah. I'd reccomend going for another person. Possibly the 2 at the beach. But then again, there are a couple of other loner characters out there.

Re: My Daddy Death.

Well, I was waiting for Jigokuno but he abandoned his character...Sha'll I ignore that then and just go after a diff character? o.o

Re: My Daddy Death.

I bet hes either still recovering or still going through finals stress. xD
Just till the end of this week before I gotta go through mine. *flustered already* >~>
