a character in “My Daddy Death”, as played by Gintoki Sakata

Description

Name: Sevan(See-vahn)/Raul
Nicknames or Alias: The Chimera of Pestilence(Plague)
Age: 714(Combination of their 2 ages. Wolf: 352 Ram: 362
Age Appearence: Mid-20's
Gender: Male
Human Appearance: Image
True Appearance: Image
Personality: Sevan isn't exactly one person. Instead he shares 1 body with another entity named, Raul. Whenever they are formally called on, they are addressed as either Sevan Raul or the Chimera of Pestilence. However Sevan is the dominant mind over the two. Raul is only able to control their body when Sevan either inables him to, or falls asleep. It is very rare to see Sevan sleeping, as when one mind rests, the other awakens. It's a good thing he is already dead or this would become a huge issue, as the body would constantly break down from exhaustion.
Sevan is a smart and daring. He remains perfectly calm in almost any situation. No matter now dangerous. He is kind and gentlemanly towards Death's children and most others, but there are some people that can get on his nerves(*coughRaul!cough*). He does however has a comediac side. Whenever an important conversation comes up, Sevan ussually adds in his 2 cents, sounding as if he knows absolutely everything on what they're talking about. Even making basic points, that actually make sense. A few seconds later however, he will ask what they're talking about, having actually had no idea on it. He is very protective of the children, and incredibly loyal to his master, Death.
Raul is practically Sevan's polar opposite. He is ill-tempered, easily annoyed, brutish, and very aggitating himself. He is constantly picking unnecissary fights, often dragging the children into it, with no reguard for their safety. This ussually results in Sevan taking back the body to apologize to whoever Raul offended, sometimes having to resort to beating them up anyway. Once Raul would regain his body, he would comment on why Sevan got the satisfaction of beating them instead. Despite his attitude, Raul has a deep sense of pride. He is very insecure about his image. Whenever someone badmouths him or belittles him, instead of getting angry, he would get very embarressed or hurt. He is far from loyal towards death, because he had the displeasure of sharing a body with Sevan when he died.
Sevan being smarter than Raul, fights more tactically and skillfully, while Raul depends on his brute force and brash moves. If they had been two seperate people, the pair would have complimented each other significantly in combat.
Family Life: Sevan and Raul are the sons of Cerberus.
Afflication in the world of the living: Sevan is a bartender on Wedensday-Friday evenings at the Reaper's Pub. He works diligently, sometimes spying on some of the children who are old enough to go there.
Sevan's likes: Sevan enjoys serving Lord Death, and would do almost anything for him. Over time he has also become quite fond of the children, as he has been watching each of them grow for many years. He doesn't mind a good fight every now and then, as he hasn't been in a decent one for 158 years. He has a tender love for sweets. Mainly chocolates. He would give his left arm for a box, literally in fact.
Sevan's dislikes: Even though it is under Lord Death's orders, he despises walking around as a human. He feels that appearing as a human makes it look like he isn't proud of who he is, often refering to it as "false skin". Even to this day, he hasn't gotten used to it. He is ever so relieved when he is able to return to the Underworld every week to report on how the children are doing. Another thing that gets on his nerves are Raul's insecent complaints and mood swings. He has once commented that Raul should stick with one personality, before they have 3 inhabitants controling their body.
Raul's likes: Raul enjoys fighting, winning, and total destruction. He gets a kick when an opponent looks at him in utter fear, knowing that they have no chance of besting him, or even surviving. Raul's cruel nature causes him to destroy things on impulse, even when he isn't trying to. He merely laughs it off, getting bored after a while and leaving. He also enjoys gloating, and telling of his many great(mostly minor except for a few) accomplishments. Unlike Sevan, he actually enjoys the world of the living. There are plenty of people to fight(that he can actually beat without Sevan stepping in).
Raul's dislikes: Sevan. He utterly detests him. Raul hates Sevan's cool-headed, some-cocky attitude, even though Raul is pretty much the cockiest person in the world. He also hates the fact that Sevan has control over their body most of the time. If there was a sun in the Underworld, Raul certainly would have never seen it, as it would always be a dark, dim, boring night. Another thing Raul hates is losing. Do to his clumsy fighting style, he is easily bested by even some of the weakest entities. Which leads to the last thing he hates. Relying on Sevan to win fights he can't win.
Power: Sevan and Raul's abilities consist of using the mix of purple, pink, and blue flames immiating from their body and rushing at her opponents, using them for a mass impact. Their flames are incredibly dense and nearly impossible to put out. Even if the opponent managed too, they could light them up again with ease. When Raul is fighting, the fire noticably flickers and juts out more violently. They are also able to spurt them out of her mouth while in their true form.
The ram head on their tail also plays some part in combat. They can aim the ram head at the opponent, as it shoots out a strange dust from it's nostrils. This dust enter's the opponent's body slowly killing them from the inside. However the lethality of the dust is completely random. Sometimes it can kill, while sometimes it produces a small flue in their bodies. There are even times when it doesn't do anything. The horns on the ram's head can also be grinded up to make a medicine that cures the victims.
In human form their abilities are limited to immiating small amounts of flame from their limbs. Sometimes they can make a medium-sized weapon from them, that can only maintain it's solid form for a short period of time.
Bio: Around 349 years ago there was a wolf who had been hunting the same ram for three weeks. Each attempt failed, and he was forced to kill off another member of the herd instead each time. The ram seemed to taunt him each time, proud that he had once again bested the wolf. He had no pack, and hunted alone. However, this wolf was particularly smart. One night, the wolf desended on a small mountain path it had ran through before. It knew exactly where the rams were heading to, and planed to ambush them. When the time was right, the wolf sprung from a low mountain ledge, onto the back of the great ram. There was a fierce struggle. But in the end, the wolf finally managed to kill the great ram by ripping its throat out. However, his victory was shortlived, as he succumbed to a wound the ram had inflicted, when it stomped down on his ribcage. The bones jammed into a couple of vital organs, including his heart and he died. Afterward's the two souls became one. They had become an abomination. The smart wolf, having the dominant mind, took over the majority of the body, while the strong ram waited, caged inside his own mind until the wolf slept.
The conjoined spirit wandered the earth without a purpose. They had tried reacting with other wildlife before, when the ram tried to get back with his herd. But they seemed to ignore them. They had even stumbled into a human town once. They were able to react with everything, bumping into people. The people starred at them startled, then went on their way as if nothing happened. The wolf thought it was strange that the humans weren't reacting to them in the way they had reacted to him when he was merely a wolf. He quickly made the assumption that they could not be seen. The ram naturally thought that this was great. He could do whatever he wanted and couldn't be caught, as long as he was controling the body. Eventually the pair traveled back into the same town, only to find that many of it's inhabitants have died or become ill because of a plague of some sort. Little did they know that it was because of them that this occured. The second time they returned, they found that the plague had gotten twice as worse. The wolf assumed that they must have been the cause of it, and decided that they should seclude themselves somewhere, so that they didn't spread it to anywhere else. During their travels the wolf and the ram had visited many places that were inhabited by other living things. Their plague killed more than they had thought. The didn't care what happened to anyone else, so he always did what he wanted whenever the wolf went to sleep.
This was until one day, they noticed a dark hooded figure making it's way over to them. Somehow, as the figure spoke, the wolf and ram were both able to understand what he was saying. The figure explained that it had given them both the ability to understand and speak. He gave the wolf, who had taken over at the time a chance to get used to talking. He was not used to using his voice in this way. It took a couple of months for the ram to get used to it. The figure told them, that if they came with him and pledged their iternal loyalty, that he would allow them the ability to react with the creatures in both this world and his. Instead of leaving them with this dull, boring life of lonely-ness.The ram at the time, excited by this offer urdged the wolf on to accept, although he didn't know the meaning of loyalty. The wolf thought it over and accepted. Later on, the man known as "Death" took them to the world he resided in. Later on Cerberus, the tri-head hound guardian of the Underworld, took them in as his sons. The ram detested the thought of such a creature acting as his father, but the wolf didn't give him much choice. Later on Cerberus gave them both names. He named the wolf Sevan, and the ram Raul. They both seemed fitting names for the two. Today they go by the title Sevan Raul the Chimera of Pestilence. Both messengers and warriors serving under Lord Death.
Anything else: Raul also has a soft side for cats.

Sevan was now working a Saturday morning, taking over for another bartender who was out sick. "Comon Sevi! Take a lurksie. She's real cute, right? EHEHEHE!" The drunk patron chuckled while flashing his cellphone in Sevan's face. There was a picture of a beautiful brunette woman with a dashing smile on it. "You don't say? She's is quite the beauty Joshua. If you're not careful, I might steal her for myself." Sevan chuckled lightly, while cleaning out a glass mug. "Wazzat? You wanna steak ma girl? Yur gonna haff ta fight meh first, bub!" Joshua stated before falling over. He was a regular at the Reaper's Pub, and Sevan has gotten to know him very well.

"Heh. Dumb drunk. Although. I find it funny that you work here, yet you never drink yourself." An older customer who was sitting next to Joshua commented. He was also a regular, but seemed to be a very observant one. "Oh! So you've noticed have you? Yes. It's true that I don't drink. But my brother Raul can compensate for that. Whenever I bring some liquor home for him, he guzzles it all down at once. Then he stays up all night, making me feel like I'm having the hangover." Sevan joked, while getting out from behind the counter to help Joshua back onto his seat. Except that he wasn't actually joking. It isn't unusual for Sevan to awake with a spliting headache every other morning. "My my. It looks like I'll have to call his sister to come pick him up again." Sevan shook his head at his now passed out friend.
"Heh. You sure do talk funny. Like an old-timey englishman, without the accent. And pardon me for saying so, but you and your brother's names sound a little weird to me as well." The older patron commented while starring in dissaproval of Joshua. "Ah. Well you see. My brother and I are actually from the Alps. Actually, I do believe we lived much farther south. The Underworld, you could say." Sevan said, putting on one of his winner smiles.

All of a sudden Sevan felt many strange sources of powers bursting throughout the town. 'It looks like it's finally happening, Sev. We should check it out! Let me take over!' Raul called out to him from within Sevan's head. It wasn't the first time Raul woke up while Sevan was still awake. Seeing as Raul spent most of his time sleeping anyway. 'Calm yourself Raul. You'll get your chance to burn your energy later. We have to notify Lord Death before we act.' Sevan responded, beggining to make his way towards the front door. "Jessica! Will you be fine on your own for the rest of the morning?" He called out to the waitress, who seemed to have already been ready to take over. 'She's a real busy body. And why do we have to consult that bastard for anyway? You don't have to follow his orders by the book all the time.' Raul stated, a little upset that Sevan didn't decide to take action yet. As soon as Sevan made his way out the front door, he turned the corner until he made it to an abandoned ally. He then stepped into the deepest shadows while closing his eyes, and concentrating his energy around his body.

When Sevan reopened his eyes, he was in front of a dark sinister-looking castle. It large structure cascaded along the bank of a river made of fire. The river Phlegethon. From far away the building could be mistaken for a small mountain range. "Simply breathtaking. Don't you think, Raul? As always, it's good to be home." Sevan said in absolute awe, as his flesh began to melt away and reform into his actual form. 'Sure. Whatever you say. Can we just get this over with? I don't want to be in Hades anymore than I have to be. Screw it. I'm going back to sleep.' Raul complained, before quickly drifting off. The fuzzy feeling in Sevan's head went away, signifying that Raul had indeed gone back to sleep. "Well at least I don't have to deal with him for now." Sevan stated to himself before walking towards the front gates of Castle Oblivion. Immediatly, the gates opened for Sevan. 'It seems that Lord Death has been expecting me afterall.' Sevan thought to himself, with a tinge of excitement.

He ignored all of the creatures and followers that resided in the castle. At the moment, he was only concerned with announcing the good news to Lord Death. Soon he made it to the thrown room. The doors opened as he stood before them. Sevan bowed his head downward, almost to where his snout touched the floor. The ram-head on his tail swished around playfully, as Raul still had control over at least that. 'It would seem as if Raul is having a particularly good dream.' Sevan thought quickly before he was addressed by a raspy-voiced creature. "The Chimera of Pestilence, Sevan Raul has come to see you, Lord Death." Compared to most of the other beings in Oblivion Castle, Sevan found "Norke", Lord Death's right hand the ugliest. Norke had bulging-red eyes. Skin so black, you would guess that he bathed in charcoal. He didn't even look all too powerful, as Norke was about the size of a rabbit standing upright. And his voice was almost unbearable. Sevan figured that Lord Death must have picked him out of every other entity, because he was the most gruesome. Although Sevan has seen far worse out in the scorching plains of Hades.
"Lord Death. I bring news reguarding your children. It seems they have finally awakened." Sevan smirked inwardly, desperatly awaiting his master's responce.

Sevan was delighted to hear that Lord Death seemed intrigued by his news. It wasn't every day that he had seemed so interested in Sevan's briefings.
"Go, my dear friend, I predict they will be struggling with their new identities. It would be an inconvinence if the world of the living were informed." Sevan almost lifted his head when his master had stopped speaking, but halted as it seemed Lord Death had more to say.
"I will be there when I can, take care of them until I am able to assist." Sevan opened his eyes in surprise. It was rare for his master to leave the Underworld off business like this. He quickly lifted his head, to lay eyes upon his master. Even Sevan and the other trusted followers of Death have yet to see their master's true appearence before. It would be a lie if Sevan said he never wondered what lied behind that black cloak.

All of a sudden a new visitor came through the doorway. “Mitanni Assur, The Wolf of War, has arrived my Lord” Norke announced in his ditestable little voice.
"Aw. Mitanni. It has been a while since I have seen you last. Raul has been missing his old sparring pal greatly." Sevan took a moment to chuckle before continuing.
"Reunions aside. I have already alerted Lord Death of the situation as you can see. Lord Death, I'm guessing you have more important matters to deal with then listening to us chitchat, so I will talk with Mitanni outside, if you would please excuse us." Sevan motioned his head sideways as to signal that he had something urgent to tell Mitanni.

He then made his way outside the door and it closed on its own. "There is one thing that I find quite interesting about all of this. If my memory serves me correctly, Lord Death told us of seven children. But I felt an eighth source of power. Did you not?" Sevan stopped as he scanned the hallway for any prying eyes.
"I was also told that other than us there was a 3rd messenger. The messenger of Famine, yes? Perhaps he or she might take interest in this eighth power as well. I am not absolutely certain, but I have felt flickers of power over the past 20 years at the most random times. Whenever Raul and I attempt to investigate the energy dissapears before we even walk out the door. Strange indeed. But it seems this time that we might be able to catch the culprit. Are you up to it?" Sevan asked Mitanni as he relunctantly changed back into his human form. "I myself shall attempt to rally the rest of the children. I guess it would be best to start with the youngest. Lets see... What was her name again... Missy Lafayette! That was it!" With a short wave, he bid farwell to Mitanni. "See you on the other side, my old friend." The next thing Mitanni knew Sevan had dissapeared in a flash of his energy. After traveling through dimensions for over hundreds of years, Sevan has gotten pretty quick at it.

"Well it looks like it is finally time... I wonder how she got in an area like this. I'm sure I felt the energy source come from here." Sevan sighed as he scoped out the rocky terrain in the middle of a forrest near the town. "Perhaps she's the explorative type." Sevan pressed up his glasses, as they were about to slip off. All of a sudden he felt a familar fuzzyness inside his head. 'Oh no...' Sevan thought in utter distain. 'Why are you looking for the little girl first, anyway? You a pedophile or something?' Raul woke up laughing like an imbecile.
"I see you are making use of the speech patterns they use in current-day society, Raul." Sevan replied, trying to keep a cool head.
'Well duh. I don't live in the past like you! You've gotta learn to get with the times, Sev.' A typical Raul reply. 'You should let me take over. I can find her way faster than you anyway.' Raul tried persuading Sevan, although doing a horrible job at it. "Good luck with that. You would probably crush her body as soon as you find her just to vex my master, wouldn't you?" Sevan said, now getting very irritated.
'Ah! How'd you know?! We really have been together for too long. Its getting kind of creepy how well you know me.' Sevan could imagine Raul pointing his finger in a motion going into his throat to simulate barfing. "Listen you insignificant-" Sevan began before Raul cut him off. 'Heads up slowpoke. Little girl at 12:00!' Raul chuckled, feeling he has once again bested Sevan. "Well what do know. There she is." Sevan simply said before walking over to her. 'Is she sleeping? Hold her nose. That'll make her wake up.' Raul adviced, even though he knew how Sevan would respond. "As if I would use such vulgor efforts to wake of a child of my master." Sevan replied scoldingly.
"Excuse me, young miss. But would you mind waking up for me?" Sevan said in the kindest voice he could muster, while gently nudging Missy's arm.

Missy woke up slowly, opening one eye and looking at the figure that was over her, she sat up and rubbed at her eyes. Her head felt like it was spinning, and she whined in discomfort from having slept on the ground. As she wiped the dust from the corners of her eyes and looked up at the man who had woken her up, her eyes saw the woods behind him. "Where are we? Are you the prince?" She asked, her mind still floating with thoughts from her dreams. She looked up at the sky and felt a chill run down her back, she looked back to him looking sad, "This isn't a dream anymore is it? You don't look like you're an NPC."

She slowly got up off the ground and looked around and then back at him, "Um, do you know where we are? I'm not supposed to go far away from..." Her eyes widened as she remembered how she got here. She immediately began to worry about what was going to happen to her because she broke the tree house and damaged the yard and then she left home in the middle of the night. Her eyes filled up with tears and she began to cry profusely.

Mitanni slowly walked in and was greeted by Sevan. "Aw. Mitanni. It has been a while since I have seen you last. Raul has been missing his old sparring pal greatly." He did not smile at this remark, but was somewhat glad to see him. Mitanni rarely showed his emotions. He had only had a few friends his whole life. Sevan/Raul, Lord Death and his wolf. Quick flashes of their sparring contest quickly came back to his mind before he came back to reality.

Nodding to his old friend and looking at Lord Death, he only had time to bow his head to his master before being beckoned by Sevan to take a step out. In other circumstances, Mitanni would have been somewhat frustrated with Sevan, having made him miss an opportunity to talk with his master. But alas, he knew that his master was probable busy and Mitanni had work to do as well. The simply nod Master Death had given him was enough for Mitanni. Stepping outside, he listened to his old friend talk. "There is one thing that I find quite interesting about all of this. If my memory serves me correctly, Lord Death told us of seven children. But I felt an eighth source of power. Did you not?"

Mitanni nodded “Yes indeed I have felt this eight power... But alas I have not attempted in tracking it yet."

Are you up to it?"
Mitanni slowly rubbed his chin, taking a minute to think about this. Looking back at Sevan he spoke “First I shall find the third messenger and make her acquaintance. I shall see who she is and what she is then I will make my way to find another children. The eight will have to wait...”

With a final greeting, he nodded at his ally and then vanished as well. Letting his energy roam through reaper, he easily found the other Messenger. Appearing out of sight, he slowly made his way to her. Walking pass him was a boy that Mitanni recognized as one of the children of Lord Death. Making a mental note of the boy, Mitanni continued walking until he stood in front of the girl he presumed was the Messenger of Famine.

Dressed in his black trench coat, his long black hair fell to his back. His dark eyes stared deep into hers. “Aurabell Jade I presume? I am Mitanni Assure, Messenger of Death. It is a pleasure to finally meet you.” With all honesty, Mitanni hadn’t planned to be so formal...he did not really care about formality; all he wanted to do was find these children before someone else did.

“It seems you have met one of the kids... I shall leave him too you...I will go after the one named Adam Chase and see if I can help him with his transformation...”

Sevan was relieved when Missy woke up. He couldn't have Death's children dying on him before they even met. She seemed somewhat dazed and confused, as she rubbed her eyes to better her view. "Where are we? Are you the prince?" Sevan was quite confused by this question, and didn't quite know how to respond. She seemed to be troubled by something, as she began to recollect her thoughts. "This isn't a dream anymore is it? You don't look like you're an NPC." The young girl made another confusing statement.

'An NPC?' Sevan asked Raul in his head. 'Pffft. An NPC stands for None-Player Character. Aren't you an old man.' Raul answered him arrogantly. However, Sevan decided to ignore everything he said after the explanation. "Well. I can assure you that I am no prince. I am merely a humble servant-" He then stood up and bowed to Missy. "to you're princess." He finished with a smile.

The girl then stood up, looking once again confused. "Um, do you know where we are? I'm not supposed to go far away from..." She began before Sevan noticed tears begginning to develop underneath her eyes, as they widened. 'Did she remember something?' Sevan thought to himself, as he continued to watch, expressionless. The tears soon began to flood out altogether. 'This girl is annoying and whiny. Can we destroy her now?' Raul asked once again, a little impatient.
'For the last time, we came here to protect her, not kill her, you dolt!' Sevan snapped at Raul, before making his way over to Missy. 'Sheesh. Someones touchy.'

"Are you all right? What is troubling you?" Sevan asked her, while kneeling down to look her in the face.
"Whatever it is, I'm sure there is something I can do to help. But in return, I will require your help to keep the other princes and princesses safe. Do you think you could do that?" Sevan asked her, giving her a warm smile and a pat on the head.

'Hmph. What with this shit? Sympathy? Since when do you show sympathy to anyone?' Raul asked Sevan, only to be ignored. 'Hey! I asked you a question!' Raul yelled even louder into Sevan's head. 'Will you please shut the hell up?! I'm trying to calm Lord Death's daughter, and you yelling isn't helping!' Sevan yelled back, now feeling the need to get rid of Raul as badly as he wanted to be rid of him. 'If you're so worried about these other kids, then you should concentrate on getting to them instead of cheering up some whiny brat.' Raul retorted. "You have absolutly no idea on how to treat children Raul." Sevan accidently said out loud. 'Heh you idiot. Now you're gonna look like a freak who talks to himself.' Raul through in one last comment before going quiet again. 'Damn you... I know you're still awake, Raul...'

Missy moved over to him as he bowed and gave him a hug, she didn't know why, but this man made her feel comfortable. She sniffled a few times and stopped her crying. "I'm going to be in trouble, I turned into a monster last night and broke the tree house. My daddy is gonna be very angry with me for breaking things and then running away, but it isn't my fault." She paused in her explanation to him, "I really did turn into a monster you know, a really big one, and I flew up into the air really high."

She let go of him and looked down at the ground for a moment, "So I'm really a princess, right? I'll help you keep everybody safe, but... You have to grant my wish!" She looked at him with a serious look, one that unfortunately for her came across as laughably adorable, "You have to take me away from here, I don't want to have to go home. Okay?" She firmly placed her foot to emphasize her point.

Missy looked down at the city, just barely visible from here, "The NPC's are going to be afraid of us. Aren't they?"

Leon laughed as he grabbed the blade and slowly pushed it out. thw wound set alight and healed after the blade left the opening. "thanks for the massage" said Leon before he grabbed the man by the neck and lifted him off the gound one handed. "i'll take that energy" (P.s Leon can take others 'energy' allowing him to recover faster) Leon's left eye glowed red as the man set alight and the fire seemed to be absorbed bt leon palm. after the man had blacked out and the fire had dissapeared, Leon held his hand and it began to set alight with a stronger flame. Sevan smiled as Missy hugged him. He hugged her back gently. If there was one thing about casting away his true self for being a human, hugging was one of those things he seemed to enjoy. That warm embrace always made him feel good. In the past Sevan told himself such pleasentries were reserved for the living, but he couldn't help but neglect those thoughts. Especially after he had his first taste of chocolate. After all. It wouldn't be right for Raul to enjoy his new life in the world of the living, while Sevan couldn't. It was the main reason Sevan chose to serve Lord Death. Most thoughts or decisions ussually start out selfishly, before changing into thoughts of others after all. Sevan only chose to follow him to escape his life of lonelyness. He didn't understand why, since he was alone from the beggining. But he just felt he needed to make a change with what was left of his life.

Suddenly the girl seemed to stop crying and let go of Sevan. "So I'm really a princess, right? I'll help you keep everybody safe, but... You have to grant my wish!" She stated, seeming to show a bit of assertivness. 'Heh. So the little squirt has some backbone after all. I like that.' Raul commented as he watched the display through Sevan's eyes. 'See? Lord Death's children aren't as bad as you originally thought, are they?' Sevan commented back. 'Whatever. You know what they say. One bad apple could spoil the whole bunch. No matter how good the rest are.' Raul added in. Sevan himself thought it was kind of cute, but humored the girl.
"Very well then, my Princess. What would you ask of me?" Sevan smiled, as he bowed once more.

"You have to take me away from here, I don't want to have to go home. Okay?" She seemed more serious then ever. Sevan starred in surprise for a second, before lifting his head and standing straight once more. "Very well. If my princess commands it, then I shall execute it." Sevan replied assuringly.
"The NPC's are going to be afraid of us. Aren't they?" Missy said as she looked off in another direction. Sevan looked in the same direction to see the tops of a few businesses, and a large house or two. Sevan figured she must be refering to the normal humans. "I guess you could say that. Those that know of our existance that is." Sevan answered her before he felt a strange presence enter the forest.

'Sevan! It's that power source from before!' Raul yelled in excitement. 'It seems so, Raul. Strange that it would decide to come to us for once.' Sevan replied. 'Wait... Theres another strange powersource in the forest. This isn't looking good.' Sevan told Raul as he started walking the direction of Leon. 'Let me deal with this! I promise that I won't hurt the little girl, ok? Can't keep any promises about whatever I find though. Come on! I'm faster on foot then you anyway!' Raul pleaded. Sevan didn't have time to think, so with a relunctant sigh he made his decision.

"Princess. It seems two dangerous forces have entered the forest. I will hand you over to my brother, Raul. He isn't quite the gentlest person, but he should suffice. Ah yes! And my name would be Sevan. Now if you will excuse me." Sevan stated before closing his eyes, but not falling asleep. "Heh. Well its about damn time. Hey runt. Do you like running fast?" Raul turned his head towards Missy, the kind eyes from earlier now replaced with fierce, firey ones. "My bro's too much of a slowpoke to catch up with those baddies over there, so I'm gonna be your ride this evening." He said before picking Missy up by the scruff of her shirtcollar(just assuming she has some kind of attire with a collar xD) and lifting her onto his back. "Try not to fall off. I'm not gonna come back for you. Hehe." Raul commented before rushing off at an intense speed, jumping off the sides of trees to gain more ground. "Never had a chance to try this before." Raul said as he kicked off between one tree and another several times before reaching the heighest thick branch of one. "Scared of heights, kid?" Raul joked, before jumping onto the branch of another tree. "Hey! This was easier than I thought!" Raul began laughing juvenilecly as he jumped through the trees.

'The last time I checked, you were a ram, not a monkey; And what do you think you're doing putting Lord Death's daughter in so much danger? If she gets a single scratch, I'm taking control of the body for a week.' Sevan threatened. 'Heh. Relax, Sev. I know what I'm doing. I saw it on a japanese movie one time. What are those one guys called again? Ninjas! Yeah! Bet you can't do it.' Raul chuckled in his mind like a little kid. As he said that, one of the two entities dissapeared.
'Look what you did by wasting time. It looks like one of them has defeated the other, or one of them has escaped.' Sevan scolded him. 'Shut up. That one from before is only a few feet away.' Raul grumbled, before dropping back onto the ground and looking at a clearing in the forest. He slowly stepped out, looking for whatever was here. 'No sign of'em. Looks like we lucked out again, Sev. Time ta go home! You brought me some liquor, right?' Raul asked, as he started turning around.
'Wait you imbecile! The energy from before is still close. Don't just call it a day like that!' Sevan complained, beckoning Raul to take this more seriously. "Fine, fine. Whatever you say Sev. Better get a reward out of this, cheap bastard." Raul commented outloud before rushing off after Leon again. 'You're the bastard. How dare you use such foul language in front of Lord Death's daughter.'

After a few seconds, Raul began to catch sight of Leon. "There he is! Come here you little shit!" Raul yelled out before speeding up and getting ready to bash Leon's skull open. Sevan began to notice something about the man. He seemed to be the same as Missy and the other children. 'Raul. Stop!' Sevan yelled out, causing Raul to nearly fall over before skidding to a stop. 'What the hell is with you?! We've been looking for this guy for 20 year, and you wanna let him get away when he have the chance to catch him?!' Raul remarked in anger. 'Think clearly. We've just now been able to continously sense his power for more than a few minutes. Why do you think this happened right as the children awakened?' Sevan explained, as he awaited Raul's responce. 'Hm... I don't know, but why should I care if he dies? I let the little girl live, didn't I? This guy looks pretty old. Just about hit his prime. He's lived a long-enough life. Hell. I only got to live like 7. Can't you just let me have some fun for once?' Raul asked, trying to find some way to persuade Sevan. 'Not if this fun included crushing everyone who you lay eyes on.' Sevan replied in distaste. "Dammit! Look! He's getting away Sev!" Raul yelled out loud. "Fine. If you don't want me to kill him, then how about this?" Raul smirked as he once again reached for Missy and pulled her off of his back. "Hey asshole! Catch!" Raul yelled, before tossing Missy with a small sliver of his full strength towards the man. 'What do you think you're doing, you idiot?!' Sevan exclaimed in surprise, then taking the body back. "Princess! I'm coming!" He exclaimed as he ran towards her. 'Ha! You're not gonna catch her. If only you were as fast as me.' Raul mocked him from within his head.

Missy had already developed her crush on Sevan, he was so handsome and tall and amazing, in her mind she decided he was supposed to be the hero of the story, here to rescue her and take her with him to his castle. She was sure that he was the greatest man to ever live. As Raul picked her up, Missy held on tight to Sevan's back, not really understanding the whole brother thing, his voice seemed to change tone a little, but it was the same guy... right? She slowly justified it in her head that an evil wizard must have cast a dark spell to put Sevan and his brother Raul into a single body, and the two of them have to share all their toys and food and stuff because they can't exist separate from each other. As Raul started jumping off of trees, Missy started giggling happily, it was like an amazing roller coaster ride! "Wee! Go higher!" She hugged even tighter to Raul, "Who's a bastard?"

As Raul threw her at the man she stopped laughing and went silent, her body suddenly over taken by a crippling fear, it was one thing to be on a fast moving object, bouncing around like a super ball, it was another thing entirely to be thrown through the air like a fastball towards some weird looking monster creature. If she could control her transformation, she would have changed already, it seemed inevitable that she would hit Leon. A part of her hoped that the monster would be made out of something squishy, like gummy bears.

Leon felt a burst of energy behind him, before sensing danger, as he turned he noticed the little girl from earlier flieing towards hiim, "danm" he said before leaping into the air to catch her, 'got her' he thought to himself as he almost hugged her in the air. when Leon hit the ground he slowly put her down, before shooting his head upwards and spotting sevan. "go home little girl" he told her before he basicly rugby tackled sevan through about three trees before he flung him foreward, 'far enough away from the girl' Exorcist told him' "good" he quietly said to himself, before activateing his flamming fists, "so, wheres the other guy, i can sence him" he asked sevan as he got up to his feet. but their bout was interupted by a group of people dressed in black cloaks dropping from the trees. "Did'nt you guys get the message.. i'm stronger than you" he shouted at them realising they sent th man to attack him. "we know you parents" on of the female members responded. "what"! leon was shocked no-one he ever spoke to knew about his parents. who are these people? he thourght to himself. suddenly the whole group unsheathed their many diffrent swords and lept towards Leon. The blades peirced Leon in many diffrent areas of his chest. As they slowly pulled out the blade Leon fell to the floor blood creating a small puddel around him. The cloaked members lept back into the trees and dissapeared, before Raul smirked "and you said he was strong, he got killed by a bunch of stupid.." he was cut off as the pair of them noticed his arms moving foreward with his hand reaching for somthing. as he closed his hand they noticed he had picked up some sort of pendant. "Katie" leon said quietly as he opened the pendant to show a picture of katie" he closed it before the bloody puddle stained the picture. He wrapped around his neck and stumbeled to his feet."What is He"? Raul questioned as Leon begane to heal through his fire abbility.
"Now where were we?" Leon challeeged as he activated his flameing hands.

Sevan stopped in his tracks only several feet away from the pair as Leon caught Missy. He was relieved to find her ok. 'I swear one of these days I'm going to bring you back to life and kill you again.' Sevan threatened Raul with what could only be pure hatred. 'Haha! Didn't think the guy would actually catch her. Figured he'd turn around and they'd headbutt.' Raul laughed inside their head, completely ignoring Sevan's threat. 'Heads up Sev!' Raul yelled out before the man from earlier tackled them and drove them deeper into the forest. Sevan had turned his head just in time to spot the man before this. "So, where's the other guy? I can sense him." Sevan heard the male say after he was pushed foward. Normally, Sevan would have avoided such an attack easily. But he was taken a little by surprise, because he was busy fuming at Raul.

"My, my. Thats some impressive strength you have there." Sevan commented as he rose to his feet, as if he had merely been knocked down. Because, that was really all it had trully done to him, when an attack of this caliber would easily break any normal person's backbone or killed them. He examined the trees behind them, and barely caught a glimpse Missy over the hill they crashed down. She seemed to be upset. He then set his eyes back towards the man in front of him. He had set his fists afire, as Sevan inspected the area. "Other guy? Why. The only one's here are you and me... Or should I say, us." Sevan mocked. "After 20 years, you've finally shown yourself. I wondered why your energy always seems to flicker before it dissapears. You power mainly involve flames. What a coincedence. So do mine." Sevan stated before a mixture of purple, blue, and pink flames enveloped his arms and legs. He soon calmed the flames until they only immiated from the sides of his forearms and his heels. He then took his right hand and shoved it into the flames coming out of his left arm, slowly bring out what appeared to be a weapon made from the flames themselves. At the same time, he repeated the act with his other hand. Soon he held two tonfas made from his flames to his sides. These weapons were one of his favorites to use in a fight, as they provided an equal amount of both defence and offence.

All of a sudden a group of strange figures appeared out of nowhere. "Friends of yours?" Sevan asked innocently, before they all drew weapons and stabbed Leon in his chest. This left him a little surprised, as the figures seemed to ignore him and dissapear into the trees. 'Ha! This guy wasn't even worth out time, if he couldn't take on weak souls like them.' Raul commented, as Leon fell to the ground. 'You idiot. What if it turns out he really is one of Lord Death's children. Then what will we do?!' Sevan yelled at him and nearly panicked. He opened his eyes wide as Leon began to get up. "My, my. I wasn't aware Lord Death's children were able to escape his grasp so frievously." Sevan stated as he stared in wonder. "Now where were we?" Leon said, not looking quite too stable on his feet.
'Wouldn't be any fun to fight him now. Even I'm starting to pity this little runt. Looks like he used up a lot of power. Does he really think he can take us while hes in this state?' Raul laughed, taunting Leon, although only Sevan could hear it. 'I'm quite surprised that they were able to keep themselves hidden so well. They might be stronger than you think, Raul. It must have taken alot of his strength to recover from those wounds so quickly.' Sevan replied.

Something caught Sevan's eye that he didn't like. There was a woman walking into the forest. A normal human by her appearence. "Damn it!" Sevan exclaimed as he expelled his flames and forcefully pushed Leon into a shrub. 'What'd you do that for?' Raul asked. 'If normal humans see what we can do, then there will quite literally be hell to pay.' Sevan replied, as he noticed that the woman had made her way over to Missy and was kneeling down to talk to her. He observed the woman more carefully, and noticed a labcoat. He recalled that there was an organization in reaper that was created to solve the mystery of the small town. He never took it seriously, as he was perfectly certain that such a small project could never actually accomplish anything. "Princess! Wait!" Sevan yelled, leaving Leon in the shrub and running after the two. Once he reached them, he quickly grabbed Missy, and put her down behind him. "Just where do you think you're going with her?" Sevan asked in a not-so-calm tone, standing between them. His eyes almost as fierce as Raul's at the moment. 'Kehe! Never mess with a wolf or his cub.' Raul commented, wishing he could take care of the human himself.

As Leon picked himself out of the shrub, he looked up the hill at where missy seemed to be getting told off by sevan. 'so they do know each other' he thourght to himself before the pain from the stabbing emerge again. 'you need to rest' Excorcist told him. "not yet, im not done yet" he replied back 'Noncense your at the point of death Leon' Exorcist told hom forcfully.
"fine have it your way" Leon replied before staggering off back to the town, where he caught sight of the woman who was tring to calm sevan down. she reminded him of somone he had met before, but she was long dead.
Leon soon came to a point where he heard a familiar voice, he now had to be on the verge of dieing, theres no way she was all the way out here, not now. As Leon stumbled to the ground he noticed her, Katie. She was there she was running full speed for himi, 'danm' Leon thourght to himself, he had never wanted to worry her about anything, and now she has seen him with his shirt sliced up and covered in blood. it was'nt going to be a good conversation in the morning.

Leon awoke in a small bedroom, coloured in a light blue, he was lieing down on Katie spare bed, He quickly checked himself for anyblood or cuts, none. so she had cleaned him up after the random scrub throwing of that strong fire demon. katie walked into the room, she noticed he was awake and lept at him holding him tightly. "Oh ...... Leon....... i thourght you were dead". Leon was shocked he had never know Katie like this, she was always strong she never cried ever. even at her father's funeral she seemed strong and never let a tear out. Leon held he back "im sorry, i just drank to much and cut my arm in the woods thats all", he told her trying to keep her out of the possible problems. "o.k" she said as she slowly pulled her head away and wiped away her tears, Leon got up and put his hand on her shoulder, "sorry to make you worry so much, you should be down stair helping ..." suddenly it hit him, the demon from last night it, was him the 'bar tender' "Sevan" Leon spoke to himself quietly. "Mhhh" Katie questioned. "you should be downstairs helping Sevan". "o.k dont go getting hurt again" she spoke cheerfully again as she walked down to the bar. "Sevan, it was you the whole time" he mumbled as he walked out into the street, trying to avoid the most people he knew, Trying to get home without a comotion.
He was nearly there when he noticed the woman from last night, "hey" he shouted over as he walked towards her calmly. "are you new to reaper i have'nt seen you around before?" he questioned in a kind vioce.

Mel stiffened as the man rushed towards them and grabbed Missy, an angry and pretty scary expression on his face. Mustering all of the courage she had, she took a deep breath. Who was this guy anyway? some random kidnapper of children and a brute? "I think i'm taking her first to the local doctor for a check up since someone decided to use her as ball or whatever you were doing, then to my hotel room until i find someone who can get a better place which is safe from people like you who throw her around in treetops bringing her life in big danger, i don't know what you want her for, but looking at how you treat her it can't be anything good" While she talked she slowly slid her hand into one of her pockets, reaching for her mobile phone, slightly shaking in a mix of fear, anger and nervousness, knowing she wouldn't stand a chance if the guy decided to attack her.

Missy smiled to the nice woman who had come to talk to her. The woman asked who had hurt her and Missy became quiet, she knew that if she said anything then she'd just get in even more trouble. Adults just didn't understand it, she'd be punished until she said that she had lied about it, that's how it works out. No one ever got in trouble for hurting her. The nice woman offered her a place to stay and wait for a knight in shining armor, she started to speak in response, "But I have to help protect the other princesses..." Sevan's approach cut her off, she became quiet again now that he had returned. She looked at him like a puppy looks at its owner, with affection and respect. He seemed so amazing to her.

As Sevan grabbed her up and put himself between Missy and the woman she tugged gently on his shirt, "She's not an NPC, is she one of the other princesses?" Missy spoke softly, the situation was filled with tension and while she couldn't understand it, she certainly was able to notice it. As the woman responded about wanting to take Missy to the hospital and get her away from danger she spoke again, directing it at Sevan, "She's a good guy... I don't want her to get hurt. Please." She looked up at Sevan with begging eyes, hoping that if he was around to serve her and protect her that he might also be inclined to listen to what she wanted when she spoke. The beast inside her mind, the creature that she had become before started to slowly crawl back towards the surface, it had no words for her, but somewhere inside she coMeluld tell it was there and it was waiting.

Sevan's glare seemed to be taking its effect on the woman. She seemed more alert, and slightly frightened by his sudden intereferance between her and Missy. She Sevan didn't like the woman's responce to his question. Raul was sending him vibes that told him he should kill her. Sevan was almost angry enough to do it, but knew that Lord Death would take her, when it was her time. Raul had already unintentionally summoned him by killing random humans before their due date. He always did it when Sevan was sleeping, so he couldn't stop him. "I think I'm taking her first to the local doctor for a check up, since someone decided to use her as ball or whatever you were doing. Then to my hotel room until I find someone who can get a better place which is safe from people like you, who throw her around in treetops bringing her life in big danger. I don't know what you want her for, but looking at how you treat her it can't be anything good." He first thought to say that she wasn't taking Missy anywhere, but decided that, that sounded worse for himself. 'Damn you Raul. I told you, that you were too rough with her.' Sevan cursed at him, only to receive a simple laugh in return. If Sevan had said it was his brother, he would either look like a crazy wakejob, or be considered extremly suspicous. With the people Mel was working for around, he had to chose his words carefully.

He then noticed Missy tugging on his shirt and turned to her, with the same intimidating expression. He had forgotten that Missy was behind him, even though she is why he was making the face in the first place. "She's not an NPC. Is she one of the other princesses?" Missy asked him. Sevan noticed that he still looked incredibly angry.
He then took a deep breath and calmed himself, regaining his former persona and polite tone. "No princess. I'm afraid she is not one of the others. Even as nice as she seems, people have many ways of decieving each other. Your greatest friend could become your greatest enemy in a second." He said as he slowly began turning back towards Mel. 'Sev! Take a look at her right hand. I think she's reaching for a weapon.' Raul warned him. Sure enough, the woman was reaching for something.
'If you're planning on attacking us, then you should expect the worse to become of you.' Sevan thought to himself, as he awaited her next move.
"She's a good guy... I don't want her to get hurt. Please." He turned and saw Missy pleading to him. Sevan was having mixed feelings. He didn't want to make Missy unhappy, but he couldn't just allow Mel to attack them, and possibly harm her. He then noticed the woman shaking as she reached for whatever was in her pocket. He let out a sigh and shot towards the woman, first looking as if he was going to attack her, but instead aimed for whatever was in her pocket. He ripped it out, noticing that it wasn't a weapon at all. 'So she was going to call for backup.' Sevan thought.

Sevan's next choice of action was simple. Without her phone, the woman wouldn't be able to get backup to them any time soon. He turned swiftly and grabbed Missy up in his arms, then began running. 'What the hell are you doing?! Why would run from a simple human?!' Raul roared in annoyance. 'Just quiet down for a while, Raul. We have to get Missy away from that human, or we'll be discovered for sure. You saw the labcoat didn't you? She's working for the organization thats searching on information about Lord Death. Its just too big a coincidence that she showed up right as the children awakened. We can't let them be discovered, no matter what.' Sevan answered Raul as he made his way somewhat slowly to where Leon should be. 'If you just kill the damn woman, then your problem is solved! No reinforcements in the future, and no one will know about the brats.' Raul replied. 'Wrong. There will still be others who will come for them in the future. We have to find the others fast before then. Damn it, where did he go?' Sevan cursed, having lost track of Leon. 'You're too flustered right now to think straight, let me take care of that bastard. You're too slow to do anything right now anyway. He'll definately get away for good, if we slow down now.' Raul proposed, ready to gain the body back. '... You're right. I need to clear my mind. Everything is happening too fast.' Sevan thought, before allowing Raul to gain control. Within a second, the body began running at an insanely faster speed. It then leapt off the ground, once again bouncing off of trees. "Guess who's back, little girl." Raul grinned humorisly, as he look down at Missy in his arms. "Woah!" he exclaimed as his head nearly evaded a low branch that he barely saw coming. "That would have hurt in the morning." Raul joked to Missy, keeping his attention ahead of him, as to avoid further accidents.

Missy was terribly helpless to have any control over the situation she was in, she could beg or throw a tantrum but her other options were few when dealing with the two adults who were discussing her future. It was far better to just let them handle it, they weren't NPC's after all it wasn't like they would react in any kind of predictable manner. Missy kind of missed the NPC's at that moment, like the teachers in the school who were on such short programming routines that they couldn't even notice when she was getting made fun of or when someone was hurting her. They would see it and just keep walking, what limited programs.

Sevan warned her that even her greatest friend could become an enemy and that people would try to deceive her. That was such a sad thought, there was no one she was supposed to trust? She decided that he didn't mean himself, that Sevan must be someone she could trust, after all he had come all this way just to rescue her. But he didn't seem like an NPC and there seemed to be something very strange the way he suddenly changed how he was behaving and was talking about a brother before.

As Sevan stole away the nice woman's phone and grabbed Missy up into his arms, Missy held a hand up to wave goodbye to the nice woman. She had no way of resisting Sevan even if she wanted to. As he started to move faster and then leapt through the trees, Missy clung tightly to Sevan's body, her normally carefree disposition to being tossed about remained, but she still didn't want to fall, she could scrape her knee or something. She giggled as they almost hit the branch, Sevan had become much sillier than he was earlier.

"Are there bad guys who will try to stop us from finding the other princesses and the princes?" Her question was directed to Sevan as she still didn't understand that Raul was a different person, in fact she was convinced that Sevan was just playing a game with her to try to cheer her up.

Raul continued to hop through the trees, still holding Missy in his arms. Soon Raul began to notice that the sun had begun setting, once he reached the edge of the forest. 'Shit. Time sure flies when you're hunting down Death's kids.' Raul commented, his tone less aggrivating than usual. 'Although I am appauled that you would refer to our rallying of Lord Death's children as "hunting", I must agree that it seems to have gotten late. Quite sooner than I expected. Something might have happened, but it could just be my imagination.' Sevan replied. He then noticed the direction in which Leon's energy was coming from. Leon was at the bar that Sevan worked at.
'My, my. I dare say its time to go home Raul. Our prey dosen't seem to want to run away this time.' Sevan told him. 'You're kiddin me right? Why couldn't you just let me go home earlier? Asshole.' Raul remarked, as he jumped down from the tree and began running across the road that layed next to the forest.

"Hey girly. You hungry?" Raul asked Missy. "We got some good eats back at mine and Sev's place." Raul smiled childishly, while looking down at her. "Wanna try some beer?" Raul's smile now turning into a mischievous toothy grin. 'Don't you dare...' Sevan threatened Raul, obviously arousing some hostility in his voice.
'Calm down, Princy. It was only a joke.' Raul laughed inwardly, refering to what Missy asked Sevan when she woke up.

After about 14 minutes, Raul made it back to their house. What was strange is that he didn't seem to break a sweat after all the running and jumping he did. He wasn't even panting. The exterior of the house seemed as bland and normal as possible.'I think that its time for me to take over before you do something stupid, and get the poor girl drunk.' Sevan stated, as he took back the body. 'Awww. What fun are you? You could at least let me get drunk tonight after all my hard work. After all. They let little girls drink beer back when we had the 13 colonys' Raul complained. 'Now who's living in the past? Besides I haven't even cleaned the place after last night.' Sevan remarked and he carried Missy into their house and placed her down on the floor. "Please make yourself at home while I prepare you something to eat, Princess. Please tell me if there is anything you crave badly enough that you would climb to the top of Mount Olympus naked in order to obtain." Sevan said, doing his horrible attempt at a joke. Which Raul actually found quite humorius. Just by the fact, that Sevan said naked.

The rest of the house seemed quite dirty. There were bottles and trash lining the walls and taking up all the space on the coffee table. In front of the table there seemed to be a ruffed up couch. There was a hole in the left side that revealed it's springs and other interior components. On the right side of the couch, there were at least 8 empty pizza boxes. All of this was produce from Raul's little 1-man party last night. One would wonder how Sevan managed to raise all the money to pay for it. Soon Sevan came out of the kitchen, with a humorisly cute apron around his waist. Finally there was an old TV, with about 48 channels on it. There was even a little cat face on the front, that Raul seemed to like. "I'm making a 3-layered lasagna. I hope that is to your liking. Was there anything else you wanted?" He asked, finally noticing the mess. "Oh. My apologies, Princess. My brother Raul takes full responsability for this!" Sevan explained as he blushed a little and began cleaning the trash the littered the living room.

Missy responded to Raul/Sevan with a cheery tone, though she sounded a little tired out from her voice, "Lets go back to the fort to resupply." She didn't respond to the beer question, not really thinking he was serious, she hadn't ever tasted beer before but she had been told it was terrible. Unaware of the turmoil that went on between the two minds within, she was content to be carried by this amazing person who ran incredibly fast and didn't seem to tire out at all. He must have hacked the system in order to give himself powers, Missy would ask if he could help her do it too.

As they went into the house Sevan offered to make her a meal and said she should make herself at home, but she didn't care for her home so she thought it would be better to act as though she was inside of their secret base. She was sure there must be a secret escape passage somewhere and all sorts of traps for the NPC's. "What's Mount Omapus? Is that a mountain?" she asked as she looked around, she hadn't ever heard of it before, but there was nothing she wanted enough to go climbing around naked for.

"I really like Lasagna, its really good," she couldn't think of anything to ask for that shouldn't wait till later. She'd ask about how to cheat in the world during dinner, people were happier when they were eating. Missy started picking things up when Sevan started to. it was important to keep the fort safe in case it was under attack. "I'll help too."
