Paige stopped her strange huffing to reply, “That would be awesome.” After he tried to repeat her actions she tried once more before stopping. “Yeah, hopefully it will get cold enough for me to do it, though I doubt the store would have the temperature down that low in case they freeze the customers.” She speculated.
She glanced around a second time and frowned, turning back to Dalton. “Well I don’t know if there’s much I can do so far, so I’m either going to go back to the lounge or take a tour of the place. What do you think?”
Dalton looked towards the frozen foods with longing eyes before sighing. "I guess not... oh well...." he wouldn't have minded that one bit; if a costumer was there long enough to turn into a human popsicle, they weren't buying but staring. However, Dalton was regretfully not the manager of the place, so he couldn't do anything about it.
“Well I don’t know if there’s much I can do so far, so I’m either going to go back to the lounge or take a tour of the place. What do you think?”
Dalton looked at her for a minute and put a bit of thought into the question. He snapped back to reality before answering with a yawn following quick after. "A tour? Well, I can be a guide if you'd like to do that... or we could go back to the lounge. Whichever is fine by me, really."
Though, she was grateful for his friendly attitude and replied swiftly, "Maybe a short tour around and then back to the lounge." She knew if she went back to the lounge she would be drawn to the couches like a magnet, wanting to have a quick cat nap. But whenever she rested during the day it would just set her off somehow, like if she slept in. Paige put her hands behind her back and clasped them together, flexing her shoulders briefly before returning her hands to the side. "Thanks for offering to be my guide." she said a pause, almost forgetting to say it. Just as she was about to ask which ay they should go first she could feel her phone vibrate in her pocket. Paige was used to it, so she didn't react; she thought it would be rude to look at her phone while having a conversation. Besides, she was on the job, which meant no more social fun... or at least until she had made sure there were no camera's watching. What would her new boss think of her?
"Maybe a short tour around and then back to the lounge."
"An awesome combination," he said as he shook his head in an effort to wake himself up. He wasn't anywhere near falling asleep while standing up, but he just felt like he wasn't completely 'there'.
"Thanks for offering to be my guide."
Dalton smiled in response, appreciating her thanks more than she probably knew. "Don't worry about it," he said, about to speak more before being cut off by her phone ringing. He waited a second, and when it became clear to him that she wasn't going to answer it, he started back where he left off. "I think we should start off by heading by electronics," he suggested. "It's one of the closer sections to here,"
Without really waiting for a response, he started towards the place and begun the tour.
herself that they wouldn't get fired and then broke the glass and pulled the alarm. She could use some fun.
The fire alarm off and the sprinklers got turned on. Ash ran out of the little room and started to run around screaming "fire! fire!" while making sure to knock a few things over as well.
Oh well, I'll be able to clean this up quick. Or make an amazing excuse. She said...
...as she slipped over, dragging Ash with her.
