Kaidan looked away from her, which was a little... out of character for him. He always seemed so lively- Tsukasa worried she had said something wrong.
Suddenly, Tsukasa's worry melted away and was replaced by sudden excitement. She loved questions like that. She sat down and motioned for him to sit beside her.
"It's easy once you know how to do it-" she said, moving her hands once more in the air, "The difference between what I can do and what everyone else can do is... I ask, I don't tell. First, you just have to breathe slowly."
Tsukasa looked utterly calm and collected, then. Unlike other peoples' talents, hers depended on a good connection with other beings- if that somehow severed, so would her ability to call on them for help.
He smiled at her, seeing her energy so focused on one thing. 'I wonder if I could do that.' Kaidan closed his eyes and started to breathe slowly. He tried to focus his energy on the tree, but nothing really started to happen. "Umm, Tsukasa, can I doing this right?"
Meanwhile, Amai lay listless on her couch. "Ahhh, all there's left to do is prepare, but now all I have to do is wait."
(OOC: Sorry is my posts seem kind of short, I just have a slight case of writer's block. :/)
Tsukasa's smile was so perfect that Kaidan looked down. "I see... Hey, do you wanna hang out for a while? I wanna show you my favorite spot here."
He took her by the hand and flew over the treetops. Seeing his tree in sight, he sat at the top of the branches, Tsukasa following suit. "This is my most favorite spot in the entire kingdom of heaven... I've shown Amai once, but she told me that she'd rather sleep on her couch than up here." He looked up at the sky and saw the stars. 'I wonder if she likes this...'
(OOC: Honestly, I have no idea... Maybe there should be a few back-and-forth conversations going between the demons to keep them from getting slack..?)
"Amai? Are you there? It's Calista, can I come in?" she said after knocking.
He folded his hands and shut his eyes, quietly thinking to himself. 'I wish I could tell her how I feel. I wish I could tell her how I feel. I wish I could tell her how I feel.' He slowly opened his eyes and looked over at Tsukasa. 'I can't do it...'
"Amai? Are you there? It's Calista, can I come in?"
Amai turned her head towards the door and saw the blonde angel. "Of course. Come on in, Calista." She sat up in her couch and smoothed her dress down. "What is it, dear?" She moved over on the couch and patted a seat next to her. "Come sit." 'I wonder what's up with her?'
The star shot across the sky and Kaidan pointed it out to her just in time for her to catch it racing across the navy backdrop.
I hope we all come home safe.
"Made your wish?" she asked.
Suddenly, Tsukasa had a sudden urge to make her way to Earth.
Amai looked out her window and picked up a small box. Putting her belt on, she put her fingers to her lips and whistled, signaling everyone to come out and line up at the gate.
She flew out and stood by the gate, box in hand. 'Everyone better hurry it up already... Who knows if Lucifer's demons are already down there or not...'
Kaidan slept soundly in his bed when he heard a faint whistle. "Huh?.." He looked out the window and saw the bright sky. "Shoot! Amai's gonna be mad if I don't hurry up..!"
He rushed out of bed, quickly putting on decent clothes. Fixing his hair, Kaidan started to search his room for his belt. "Where is it, where is it?!" He saw a glint out of the corner of his eye and grabbed his belt. "There it is..." Fastening it on, he dashed out, calling out loud, "Today's the day! Get up and get ready!" 'I wonder if Amai's already waiting....'
Amai came into view as Kaidan slowed down. "Morning Amai."
Her scythe in hand, Tsukasa landed lightly beside Kaidan and smiled to the two angels, "Morning."
Her sweet smile trembled ever so slightly and did not gave way, but did suggest the nerves she was trying to subdue.
"Kaidan... about last night? Thank you. I don't think I'll have been able to get through this battle if.... " for a moment, she was at a loss for words, not quite sure where she was going with her speech, "I'm glad you took me up to that tree."
Though already nervous and anxious, if not for the calming effects of her encounter with Kaidan last night, she would have been a wreck, running about nervously in search of last minute methods to ensure the safety of others.
