Celest walked up to a small newspaper. She had a small cooler in her hands with some sandwiches and drinks. She had her hair pulled back in a messy pony tail and her bangs loosely behind her ear. She had light jeans on a grey jacket and a bright light green shirt under it with boot. She looked around for a moment and smiled pulled out her cell phone and leaned back against the wall in the front. She watched Lyric from his office as she called him. She waited patiently for him to answer his cell.

Meanwhile, in the large castle like structure of the RavenCrest family, Nathaniel was working with some of his servants to come up with the perfect invitations to the winter dance. His hands nervously ran over his deep-red hair that was spun into the perfect braid over his shoulder. It was beautiful against the white dress shirt he was currently wearing over top black pants while he thought. His emerald eyes scanned over all the different colors for the invitations, but still he was having trouble. His mother had suggested red and green, the traditional sense of Christmas, to the winter party, but he wanted to make a love romance this year, and red and green just did not seem to make that happen.
He took in a deep breath and decided on a silvery-blue with gold trim and golden letters on each. He then told her how he wanted them to look before she took off to make them all. Soon he would have to sign his name to all 1000 copies of his invites with his name: Nathaniel RavenCrest... Oh he was so excited when he thought about signing the invites. He could feel a rush of excitement run up his spine just before he did a little dance and laughed. "Oh this is going to be great!" Nathaniel stated before walking out of the large foyer into the halls of his home.

She was glad she came by with lunch or he might not have taken a break. She sighed softly thinking to herself. He never takes a rest ever sometimes he even stays up till odd times of night just to get a paper written. She hoped that the bigger the paper got the more people he could hire and the less he would have to take on and do himself. She had even joked once that she should quit her job at the flower shop and come help with the paper.

"Where would you like to eat that?" he pointed at the cooler she had in her hands.
Nathaniel decided to head out for a little air, making his way into the commoner's area outside his own large home and court-yard. Once he got word about the invites being finished he would return to sign them, and send them out to all of his lovelies.

"How was the floral shop today?" he asked, knowing her passion for the natural plants.

Meanwhile, Nathaniel walked about the plaza looking a little petty gems that were nothing compared to the jewels that he saw his mother put on her wrist, ears, and neck. He scoffed at the though of anyone wanting something so dull, when he could apparently bring them something more worth their wild. He then noticed that the crowd around him were all about their daily routine. Some children tried to pull their parents away from their activities to look at the handsome rich man, but they only shushed them and told them it was rude to stare at the rich. Though Nathaniel, unlike his RavenCrest family, did not mind the attention of children and their poor class families.
Deciding that the solemn looks that the crowds carried on their face was too much for him to take anymore, Nathaniel started to head toward his house again when he spotted a woman who seemed out of place on her little black bench. She was pretty, and happy, unlike all the others. He decided that perhaps it was time to ask someone to accompany him to the dance, but the thought only made him shake his head. Perhaps he should find out more about her first, and so he started toward the bench with his head down before sitting down when her attention was caught on some couples bickering. He cleared his throat and smirked, "Odd how they are all gloomy, and you curiously scan each of them... is there a reason why?"

"Other than the dull gems..." he added, then glanced over at her. "Why so red... you're not ill now are you?" he asked, his voice soft and light, almost playful.

Lyric grabbed the Cola and sat down on the blanket he finished putting on the ground. He smiled at her gently. "Ah, that is great," he said softly, waiting for her to maker herself something to eat before even thinking about making himself something. He then thought about the plants around the office and chuckled. "I'm not sure Ricky-Bobby would be happy with flowers around the office. In fact I think I would have to put him down... Just to shut him up." He laughed slightly.
((Sorry about being so late. Been extremely busy this week...))

Nathaniel lifted his hand and held hers in his own before standing up himself. "Then I look forward to you arrival this weekend for the festivities. I'll send an invite to you at once Miss..." he was at a loss of words. "Oh how rude of me, my name is Nathaniel Raven-Crest, son of the Raven-Crest family. And you are m'lady?" he asked, bowing his head down slightly.

Lyric watched her pack everything back up into the blue cooler and then shook his head. He took in a deep breath and then went after her downt he hill toward their home in the lower-class part of town. He did not know how she felt on his farm, and it was never clear how she felt about his past. But he was not worried about any of that because he had managed to keep her at his side for six years, so what could go wrong now? Surely, her parents would not cause them any problems, or even the RavenCrest Ball. "I'm sorry..." he caught up to her, lacing his fingers around hers. "I shouldn't have asked."
