|General Appearance|
Rimara's never been the.. girly girl type. Sure, she has her days where she'll dress up, or she'll have a conference of Doctors to go to, where she's required to
dress nicely under the white lab coat.

Her usual attire is as follows:
A plain colored t-shirt, preferably v-neck.
Skinny, un-ripped blue jeans.
Converse, usually black. {Red, if she's feeling fiesty.}

Rimara was kind of a spoiled child without any siblings, and daughter of the mayor. She usually got her way, but with her father being the great man he was, he
always pushed her to do it herself, instead of begging him. Her mother fully supported her father, so it was either do it on her own, or not get it.

Being the daughter definitely had downsides to all the 'perks' everyone thinks it had. She was the center of attention for the town, some of her life, but once she
hit teen years, that faded away. Rimara's parents had moved here before she was born technically, as her mother was still with child. After her mother birthed her, she died shortly after, living the new Mayor a widow and single father. Tired and true, he never re-married, not even dated. Rimara loved that about his
father. The dedication he always had to what he loved. Which was really only herself and his job as Mayor.

Growing up, Rimara fought for what she wanted and believed in. She's a strong individual as a 24 year old. She's got the looks, the brains, and the charm. Just.. not the boyfriend. All the rumors of her father not letting her date were true. As long as she was in school, she wasn't allowed to even look at a boy. Now, she's out of school, feeling more alone than ever without the one man she needed in her life. Her father.

His death was a tragic experience for all of the town.

She thought her world had ended. The world had lost a perfect soul in her opinion, and she hated it. She wanted her Daddy back. Worst of all, it wasn't even his time. It wasn't a natural death. That stupid cop woman, Rimara didn't really know her, but she claimed that she never saw her father crossing the street. As if a spell was put on one of them to ignore the other. In other words,

Murder.

Who could do such a thing? Destroy a little family, grieve a town of it's leader. She was disgusted at the fact for the longest time and still is. For those that actually know Rimara, know she's still upset over her father's death, and can often be found down at the little river pond outside of city limits. She hasn't been going as much lately, and not leave her home on full moons, for fear of the Vargulf.

As a doctor, it makes her cringe, the whole prospect of the Vargulf. After seeing the victims, she wants to steer as far away from that sort of thing as she can safely.

And Then There Was Him...
Image
Image
Him was more affectionately known as Oscar Fallo. The man who took Rimara's heart, and then broke it harshly.

Even if Rimara didn't understand that they were just a thing, she was so young at the time, and they were so.. good together. It seemed most knew about her and Oscar even if it was supposed to be secret.

He was the only thing in her life at the time, that seemed so.. right.

Now, she dies a little more on the inside everytime she sees him. He was a completely different man to her then, than he was now, when she did manage to catch a glance at him.

So begins...

She nearly kissed him as he leaned so close to her. Then, she broke it, and felt a pang. The sad thing was... Oscar didn't know Rimara almost told her father about him. She was going to the night he was coming home, and was murdered.

"Time for more." Rimara giggled, and watched him, feeling comfortable as he had his hands on her waist. He then whispered in her ear, and she shook her head no. "Not the one that matters. I wish the town hated me." She hiccuped again. "But you live forever, and I'll live my whole life just sitting there and watching you."

She blushed as she realized how real she had just gotten, and bit her lip again, and looked at the front door while standing straight.

Oscar sighed heavily. She had always been difficult. She was honest and emotional and direct. He couldn't tell her what to do. He couldn't tell her how to feel. He couldn't control her and the most frustrating part was that he didn't want to. He just wanted to touch her, to kiss her. When she brought up his longevity, it felt like a hit to the chest. He pulled her closer, resting his hands on her stomach, holding her tightly. What she didn't understand was that he had to live the rest of his damn life without her. It didn't matter how long she lived. Eventually she would wither into an old woman and die, and Oscar would still be there, without her. A short life span would be preferable to watching the people he loved die.

"What do you want from me, Rimmie? I can't change things," he said, finally letting her go. "You know this is how it has to be. Come on, you'll feel better in the morning," He took her by the hand and headed for the house. He looked up at the front door and knew he was heading into trouble. Maybe he needed a drink too. "I'll make you warm milk and whatever it is you people use to go to sleep..." he chuckled, "Put a little vodka in there. That'll put you to sleep,"

"Then what am I supposed to do? Leave town and go look for some human soul mate?" Rimara ran a hand through her hair. She loved that he wanted to take care of her, but she wanted him to be there. Always. "At least let me love you for the rest of my life. Since my lifespan is soo... microscopic compared to yours." Rimara couldn't help what she was saying.

"I'd leave town if I could, Oscar. I would." She frowned, and sighed. "But I can't. Everything I've ever known is here. You're here." Rimara looked down, and opened the front door slowly, walking in and going straight to the kitchen, digging out another bottle of alcohol.

"Ah, shoot." She sighed, trying to open the bottle. "It's wearing off... I need to be emotionless.." She yawned, and plopped her head on the counter, where she sat on a barstool. Frankly, she didn't know if Oscar had left yet or not.

A small part of her wanted him never to leave, and be there when she woke up.

"I'm not just protecting you..." he started but he didn't know how to finish. Everything he could say just sounded selfish and maybe it was. As they went inside, he took off his coat. The house looked just as he remembered it. He couldn't imagine her leaving. It was fine if he was gone, as long as he could come back and still see her there. But that was the problem... she wouldn't always be there.

He paused in front of the pictures hanging on the wall. Happy faces, beautiful faces, a family in moments and one by one, they were gone. He heard her rustling in the kitchen and went in to check on her. She was unsuccessfully trying to open a bottle. "You need to sleep," he said but she didn't seem to be paying attention. As she rested her head against the counter, he couldn't help shake his head. Oscar took her arm and leaned it against his shoulder as he lifted her up in his arms. She felt light in his arms and warm. He carried her into her room and placed her gently on the bed. With a heavy sigh, he sat by her feet, sliding off her shoes.

Oscar knew he should leave. Everything was telling him too. It wasn't logical to stay. She would be fine on her own. She would get over her grief and get over him. Humans bounced back. It was their best trait. But in the back of his mind he thought, she might need me... So he continued to sit there, watching her, arguing with himself. She didn't need him. She was just lonely. But as often as he said it, he couldn't quite get himself to believe it.

He spent too long sitting there, watching her rest. He began stroking her hair, listening to her soft breath. He kept telling himself to leave. Oscar had other things to worry about. Finding the new mayor, keeping the town on an even keel... Worrying about Rimara wasn't part of it. But she always had a way of keeping herself present in his mind. When he was sure she was asleep, he pulled himself away.

He needed air. He needed to think. Oscar went into the kitchen and found the bottle waiting for him. It was better in his hands than hers. He popped off the top with ease and took a drink. It burned down his throat but it made things just a little easier. Oscar leaned against the kitchen doorway, taking another sip. The house was quiet and still. Life was leaving it little by little. If Rimara left, it would stand like a skeleton. It wouldn't matter who else lived here. It would always be hers.

An idea swelled into his head as the alcohol muddled his brain. It was a selfish idea. It was desperate. But that never stopped him. He slowly made his way into the bedroom and stood over her. Even in sleep she looked haunted. With the back of his hand, he caressed her cheek and softly spoke the words of a binding spell. He would make sure she never left. He needed her. And as with many binding spells, he sealed it with a kiss on her sleeping lips.

He walked away, bottle in hand. It wasn't right or fair to her, he knew that. Hopefully she would never find out. He left his coat behind as he left. He didn't know where he was going but he didn't trust himself enough to stay.

Needless to say, Rimara slept a wonderful half hour. Partly because of her being over-the-top drunk, and.. a reason she didn't know. She just felt... like something amazing had happened in her dreams, and she knew everything was going to be okay in the end.

She'd dreamt that she was in a blank world. It was just her and another human. They'd conquered the whole universe together, and she had all of her deepest desires granted, at the sound of a bell in her fingers. But.. she was sad. She may have kissed the man she was with, but it meant nothing. Then, a second man came, it was Oscar. He saved her from the kingdom of her sadness, and she gave the world to him. Anything she'd had, it was his then.

Then tragedy had struck the young lovers. As if it was Romeo & Juliet all over again, Rimara died. Leaving Oscar all alone in this world she'd gave him.

She woke up from her cat nap with teary eyes, and looked around her room, to find him. She got up, walking around, searching room for room, until she finally retreated to her bedroom, and sat on the edge of her bed. Her eyes were tired, otherwise she'd be spilling out buckets of tears. Rimara saw Oscar's jacket, and clutched it to her chest as she laid on her side on the bed.

"Why can't you stay?" She let out a shaky breath, before her eyes became fogged, and she drifted back into her state of depression. This was it. Her sign. The sign she'd been waiting for.

She needed out of town, right now. It'd be better for both of them. She was glad she was at least thinking clearly now, or a little better anyway. Rimara got up, and just walked out, leaving everything behind. Even the practical things, like her driver's license, and I.D. Information. She'd live under a fake name, so he couldn't find her, and they'd both be better then.

Fishing out her car key, she hopped in her Beetle Bug, as she liked to call it. She started the engine, and squealed it out of the driveway, and turning sharply, taking the road that lead straight out of this forbidden town. There was no need for her here anymore.

She was nearing the outskirts, as she passed the cemetery, and she turned her head to look at her father's grave, for just a second, then turned back towards the road, when everything went black. She felt horrible, and looked down to see her car slammed into.. something. Managing to kick the driver's door off, she frowned at her Beetle Bug's damage. Her legs were cut up, and she had some bruised ribs she knew, but she was alright besides that. She took a step back to look at her car in the middle of the road, the front flat...

as if there were an invisible wall.

Parking his car at the bar his mother owns, which wasn't far from the town square. He adjusted his hair, he cannot look out of order like he did this morning. No one should think that he can't control his urges. He finally got out of his car, and headed towards the town square. He noticed that although people were there it seemed a bit empty. Maybe it was all the negative energy, and their grief over the dead human body that was rotting in the cemetery. He didn't want to seem rude, but how does one pretend to like someone they never did.

He approached the square and decided to make way to the table with the drinks, he sure could use a drink right now. He's stressed out right now and some alcohol would loosen him up a bit. He walked in an elegant way, being alive for over ninety-seven years gave him reason to, he doesn't want to come off as some twenty year old who doesn't know what he's doing. Although he clearly looks like one, if you don't know him. Taking a cup he filled it with some whiskey and downed it in seconds, and then poured himself another full cup before moving away from the table and ascending the stairs of the gazebo that stood in the center of the square.

Finn wanted to observe, he saw Ula and Oscar pouring some drinks at one table, and Rosa with Arturo talking to some people, some humans, passing by the town. He saw Rimara from a distance, she looked like she wasn't ready to go to an event like this. He was right in his assumption when he saw her going away from the town square.

Another urge hit him, as he though about Rimara being the only human that lived in this hell hole. If only she wasn't so nice and innocent for him to hurt. He wished that more humans lived in this supernatural infested town. He looked over to the car that was still there, and saw a young guy's head pop into view. A beautiful young nerdy guy, who probably had sweet tasting blood. He shook at the thought that popped into his head. He mustn't think of blood right now, especially not human.

He groaned as he faced away from the car and mumbled, "Crap, Crap! Just what I needed a new HUMAN family stopping by. It'd be nice if they stayed for a while, but who knows how long I'll control myself with that sweet thing around." Finn knew how to take care of his urges, but if this family did stay for long he would have these urges more often. Then again, this town is lacking humans. Downing his second cup of whiskey he needed a distraction.

He left the gazebo, and was about to approach Ula, but it seemed as if she was too distressed, so he decided to leave her alone. Now he was left alone with Rosa and Arturo who were still hanging around the humans. He wondered how long he had to be present at this thing, before it was considered he officially attended the event.
