Tldr; Business with Flumnawor, Early storms at Janri, Lb sick of being a sitting duck.

Floating ports were normally occupied by citizens of Flumnawor, placed to make business much more manageable for those of Hamnu and on rare occasion, Janri. Letter bird arrived at the largest mass of interconnected builings, entering though a tower at the center. A man with rather sparkly red hair sat at a desk at that tower, barely acknowloging him.
The man picked up an ore from the weight stand letter placed it on, studying it with a small glass. "How come you only have forty three pounds of Ore? The order required an even fifty."
"Well, the season started late, they didn't manage to mine or purify much in time to process the order in time. I came as soon as the Firestorms let up. I don't know if I'll be able to enter again anytime soon."
"I still need the order completed. You only receive partial payment," He said, writing it down. "International trade may be slow, but we aren't desperate."
"Slow? It seemed fine to me."
"We haven't processed many transactions from Hamnu. For once the mining settlements of Janri have managed to make a more notable contribution to Flumnawor economy. Its not a problem, but it is unusual."
"Well, that is my next stop, after I collect orders covered by the merchandise," He sighed, taking his nigh empty bag, save for the exchange form.
~~~
Letter grew more and more annoyed as he was unable to enter Janri again. The storms weren't to start for at least three more months, leading to a much more warm and pleasant Hamnu but a thick, problematic hellstorm for a small dragon like him. It make him regret his small size.
Unable to do anything, he decided to pay a visit to the girl who waited for travelers in a cave.
She tried to tuck in her wings but it was useless as the wind kept blowing them open. So she waited, curling up to protect herself, until the wind was ready to let her go.
She let go of her hold of most of the plants, reverting them back to their previous state, but two or three remained poised at the stranger that had snuck up on her.
"Greetings. Excuse my paranoia, but the past few weeks have not been kind to me. May I inquire what you are doing here?"
The 'this close to me without announcing yourself' was left unsaid.
And for that matter, how had he managed that anyway? She might not be as connected to this forest as she was to the Eschelia Woods -the latter being more of an extension of her being-, but surely, she should have sensed him with the power granted to her of Life's domain? Was she truly that diminished outside of her territory?
Despite her inner turmoil at that realization, her expression remained calm, her silvergreen eyes trained on the wizard.
Astria was not in the habit of lying, though she knew they might be skeptical. Hearing about a part of the forest being in trouble was her motivation to help. After all it was her home as well.
Letter bird was starting to feel a slight itch of concern, mainly because he felt like the answers to his questions lead to more questions, and that, more often than not, meant he was being led on.
That was never alright, but he hoped he was wrong for the sake of the current predicament.
