Once 'the indifferent'. A neutral sub-deity from Ancient Greco-Roman times, prayed to for clement weather and bountiful harvest. She brought these things just as often as she did not.

Adiaphora The Indifferent was one of many nymph-like beings that oversaw the natural world. They are not always bringers of life and wealth, rather, being creatures of pure whim. The were responsible for rain and drought, harvest and famine. Man tried to bribe them with food and sacrifice, and it was never really determined whether or not this aided their prayers. Perhaps the psyches were pleased with the gifts, or if they were simply doing as they had initially wished. Each of these sub-goddesses presided only over their own territory, and as such, no one entity had absolute power.

...She is called Ada, for short. When man created her kind from faith, imagination and the need to explain the world around them in terms they could understand, people were small, and women were shapely. As such, so is she. Ada stands no taller than four and three-quarters feet, with the softly shaped limbs, curvaceous figure and small, perfect breasts of ancient Greek sculptures. Her boning is thick and her features are unlike that of any current-day race. Long, wavy hair falls to wide hips, a lifeless shade of off-white. Her skin is normally greyed and pallid, as well. Her eyes are largish and far apart beneath the bold arch of brows, and in the center of her forehead there is a vertical eye. Her mouth is full and her face is round, her nose is short, but bearing a mediterranean arch. The current government, fearing and not tolerating her kind's power over the elements, has sealed her third eye with a thin piece of silver, and forbids her to walk freely with her right eye uncovered. Being that her abilities help man just as surely as they can destroy him, one of her eyes is dark and foreboding, not white outside the iris like the other, and bearing no pupil. She also wears a sort of tracking necklace around her neck, a bit of recent technology that completely annuls any of her powers, unless she is given express permission to use them, and even then, they are constantly monitored. Long having abandoned her somewhat minoan skirt and one-breasted armor, she wears clothes of the modern day, often favoring ruffled blouses and knee-length skirts.

Ada is as colorless as she is emotionless, and inversely, her hair and eye bear the color associated with the element she controls at the moment, or the emotion she may be exhibiting.

Adiaphora is a creature of somewhat neutral chaos, and as such does not care for other's issues. She is not cold or cruel, but it is merely outside her nature to stay interested in one person or cause for any amount of time. She does not throw fits. She rarely shows bias. However, that is not to say that she does not do these things at all, and when she does them, she does them to great extent, because she... well she literally 'feels like it'. Aside from this, she makes an excellent business partner, for all of her usual levity.

It is therefore unusual that she has stayed such good friends with her coworker, Zuul, and that she is, from day to day, interested in the Mythos Civil Rights movement..

Ada was among the first wash of Mythos creatures dumped into the current dimension, and she, unlike others, had not been worshipped or even remembered for centuries. As such, she was not at all familiar with the ways of Man now. Not their politics or their cars or their beliefs or their computers. Yet, she was very good at adapting, and is one of the more versed members of Mythos society.

So begins...
