[color=#D8093B ]History:Derowynn comes from a family of adventurers. Her father and mother spent most of their lives traveling through the countryside helping people from village to village that they passed through. With her three brothers around, she often was treated and raised as the fourth boy, but being the youngest of the family, she also was treated as the baby and had her older brothers watching out for her. She learned how to use a sword and bow and became a very adept rider. Vadik woke up with a jolt, a pillow having smacked him in the face. He glared at Elizabeth, who was glaring back. "Stop stealing my wife!" Liz growled, although Vadik could tell she wasn't really mad. "She came with me voluntarily," Vadik joked, earning another pillow to the face. Derowynn, who was curled up in a ball, groaned at the two, mumbling something along the lines of 'knock it off, kids'. Vadik chuckled, getting up. "There's a bath waiting for you, if you want." Vadik thanked Liz, trotting upstairs as Liz kissed her wife good morning. When Vadik went into the room his face turned bright red, spinning around and looking at the door. Amasis was wearing nothing but a towel that was too small for him, so it hung dangerously low in order to cover as much as possible. The sisters were enjoying the show, giggling and cat calling while Vadik just tried not to look at Amasis. "What have I told you, Vadik? We both have the same parts, no need to be shy." There was the sound of fabric being thrown on the ground, and Clarke and Waverly giggling and whistling even more, telling Vadik that Amasis was now completely naked.
The door opened, Elizabeth looking confused at Vadik, her eyes looking past him. She looked confused for another half second before her eyes got wide and a large smile spread across her face. Derowynn had the same exact reaction, laughing even more at the tense Vadik, who still had his back to Amasis. After the girls had a good laugh, Amasis got dressed, patting Vadik on the shoulder. Vadik quickly grabbed his cloths and rushed to the bathroom, his face still as bright as a sunset. The bath was relaxing, helping Vadik calm down after that interesting greeting from Amasis. When Vadik came back the group, except Amasis, had gone down to breakfast. He was sitting on the bed, reading, but when he heard Vadik come into the room he looked up and smiled. "I feel the need to apologize. The girls explained to me why you are so conflicted. I knew you had a past, but I did not know it was so heart breaking. I do like you, Vadik, I have sense the day you saved me, but if you are too guarded, and don't like my advances then I will stop." Vadik stared at Amasis for a few seconds, his one sided conversation with Derowynn playing back in his mind. 'But when her soft, wet lips pressed against me, it became all to clear that I wanted to be with her'.
Wordlessly Vadik crossed the room to Amasis, who looked confused at his silence. Grabbing his bearded face Vadik bent down and pressed his lips against Amasis'. At first the Guardian didn't respond, obviously shocked, but after a second of processing what was going on, he returned the kiss. Vadik let a hand slide down from Amasis' face to the back of his neck, his fingers mindlessly playing with the long hair. Amasis wrapped his arms around Vadik, bringing him closer so that Vadik was kneeling on the bed with one knee. The passionate kiss wasn't broken until Vadik heard footsteps coming up to the door. Vadik pulled away, taking a few steps to the side, trying to hide his breathlessness as the door opened, Clarke and Waverly entering the room. They were laughing and talking, not noticing the surprised look on Amasis' face, or the blush on Vadiks cheek. Amasis looked over to Vadik, a 'what was that?' look in his eyes. Vadik just shook his head as if to say 'not now'. Amasis nodded and got up, walking away to go down to breakfast. Vadik pretended like he was searching for something in his back, but really he was processing what had just happened.
Derowynn had been right, kissing could defiantly make up ones mind. Vadik bit his lip, not sure if he should be smiling or worried about the conversation to come, and how he was going to word things. Deciding that he was just going to wing it, Vadik went downstairs to eat, easily finding his group sitting at a table off in the corner. Derowynn and Elizabeth were in their own world talking, allowing Vadik and Amasis to talk. The instant Vadik sat down Amasis started to talk, "You have got me very confused, Vadik. First you're upset that I'm flirting and making advances, and then you jump straight to that? Please explain." Vadik smirked, taking a few bites of food. "Did you know that Derowynn and Elizabeth have been together for a long while? Before all of this happened, though, Derowynn had no idea she even had feelings for Liz, until the two of them shared a kiss, and then Dero realized she wasn't as straight as she thought? This is the same exact thing. I've been denying myself to feel for someone sense Violet left, and the fact that my feelings come back of for another man scared me so much that I started to confuse myself, saying that my emotions were rising for something else, not for you. However, now it's starting to become a problem, me denying myself the ability to feel again. I do like you as well, Amasis, and I don't mean to be so bipolar about everything, but I kissed you because I wanted to see if it would make me think straight. It instead made me think a little gay." Vadik grinned at the last part, proud of himself for that pun. Amasis was speechless, looking over at Liz and Derowynn, who had stopped talking halfway through Vadiks speech. They also looked shocked, Liz finally breaking the silence by pointing between the two men and saying, "So does that mean..." Vadik nodded, glancing to Amasis, who was also starting to nod. Both girls squealed loudly, Vadik hushing them quickly as people started to stare.
The rest of the breakfast was the girls talking about how they knew Vadik and Amasis were totally going to get together, Vadik just smirking and eating his food. Once everyone was finished eating they went back upstairs, packed their things, Dero and Liz telling the sisters about what happened, and then went on their way to the church. Riding up to it everyone could feel the air getting colder and gloomier. The church was a stereotypical church with a tall tower, one large room with a few other rooms going off the side. There was a section of the church that was missing, like someone had blasted a large hole into the side. The entire place was eerie, and Vadik could see Waverly visibly tensing up, frowning at all of it. Vadik got off his horse, keeping his hand on Rhindon as he walked up to the double doors. Both of them opened with a loud squeak, a cloud of dust rolling out, causing Vadik to take a step back, coughing. He glanced back to the group, who were all hanging back a little, Waverly the most reluctant to go in. Vadik walked forward into the church, frowning as he looked around. Everything was covered in a thick layer of dust, and the paint was peeling off the walls. There were vines and moss hanging from the large hole in the back left corner of the church, rotting wood strewn all over the forest behind it.
The rest of the group walked in, Waverly holding Clarkes hand tightly, her wand raised. "The books say the tunnel entrance is under the center table," Vadik said, his voice sounding strange as it echoed slightly. Talking felt wrong, in fact just standing around the church felt wrong. Vadik reluctantly walked forward, Amasis following him as the two went up to the massive stone table, which had some weird dark substance dried on it, Vadik silently hoping it wasn't blood. The two men started to push on the alter. At first it didn't move, but slowly it started to slide backwards reviling a stone stairway going downwards into darkness. Vadik stared down, frowning and wrinkling his nose. [color=#003300]"Keep your swords ready, guys... There will most defiantly be some form of angry spirit trying to stop us."

The group spent the rest of the night talking and hanging out. Vadik was silently reading one of the last journals, leaning against Amasis who was talking to Waverly. Vadik sighed and closed the book, rubbing his eyes. It was late, the Company being one of the few people in the common room in the inn. "Are the books being cryptic again?" Waverly asked, noticing Vadiks sigh. Vadik nodded, setting the book on the coffee table in front of him. "The crystal goblet is the last horcrux, aside from Aborjans wand, and it's one of the most well hidden ones. The books are showing the old mans mental process as he's trying to figure out where the cup is, and I can't skip ahead because I don't know what I'm looking for." Vadik curled into a ball, Amasis putting a arm around Vadik. "Why don't we take a break from hunting, just for a day or two. There's some beautiful springs near by, we can take a trip there, relax, get our heads straight, then continue on. I know you're a real stickler for time, but we've earned it, and if Aborjan knows someone's after his horcrux I'm sure he will be focused on that, not on Isenguard" Vadik frowned, but after thinking it over he agreed to take a trip to the springs.
The next day the group packed up, and rode for the rest of the day to the springs, which were located deep in the forest, a large building like a slightly modern hotel was located next to the springs. It was tall, and had multiple rooms, but there was still a common room for eating and relaxing. The group got three rooms, one for each couple, the Six going into the springs straight away. They had gotten their own private pool, sectioned off by a fence, so they could do whatever they wanted. Vadik, wearing swim trunks that were given to him, was the old man of the group, simply wanting to just sit and relax. Amasis, who was also wearing swim trunks, despite protesting that you're suppose to be naked in the pool, was the toddler that loved jumping into the water. Derowynn and Clarke liked to swim around constantly, while Waverly and Elizabeth kept getting into splashing fights, Vadik getting caught in the crossfire a lot.
By the time the group finally got out of the springs they were walking prunes, but they felt refreshed and relaxed. They went to dinner, which was much more formal then the inn they were in last, so the group wasn't as loud or rowdy as they normally were. Vadik was exhausted, so he went up to his room early, Amasis following a hour and a half later. Vadik had yet to go to bed, instead he was reading, sitting with the book in his lap, his growing hair tied back in a high pony tail. "You're like the mom of the group... All you need now are some small spectacles, and a list of rules for the group." Amasis laughed, Vadik looking up and scoffing. "What makes you say that?" Amasis crawled into the bed, laying down next to Vadik. "You've got your hair tied back so you can read, which you constantly read, you scold people for doing things wrong, you're the responsible one in general, and you are no fun in the pool." Vadik laughed, opening his mouth to protest, but Amasis leaned up and cut him off with a long kiss. "Plus, you don't give your boyfriend any love," Amasis said with a sly smile as he pulled away. Vadik pursed his lips, looking a little serious. "This is all new to me, so I'm going slow." Amasis grinned his usual grin, pecking Vadiks cheek, laying back down. "And I respect you for being so adventurous and coming to your senses quickly."
The two men relaxed, cuddling in bed before going to sleep. When they woke up, it was because Waverly was pounding on the door. "Come on, you guys have slept in long enough! We're going hiking!" Vadik groaned, putting his head under a pillow while Amasis chuckled and got out of bed. Vadik didn't get up willingly, Amasis having to rip the sheets off of Vadik and literally drag him out of bed. The two got dressed and went downstairs, the four girls already ready to go. Vadik was a walking zombie for a little while, but eventually started to wake up, walking close to Amasis and following the group on a path that lead into some tree covered mountains. The hike was beautiful, and many times Vadik mentioned to Derowynn how he would be taking so many pictures with a camera, if he had one. When the group got to the top of the trail everyone looked amazed. They were almost to the top of the smallest mountain, standing on a railed in ledge, which overlooked most of the forest. The day was beautiful, and the leaves on the trees were just starting to turn green again, so it was like an ocean of orange and brown, speckles of other colors peeping through here and there. The group marveled at the sight for a while before hiking back down to the inn, where they once again spent the evening in the spring, this time going into the public spring, which was a bunch of pools that drained into one another, Amasis having a lot of fun floating down the small waterfalls that connected them. After they were tired, the group ate and went to bed, ready for another day of relaxing and fun.

Vadiks face went bright red. He was shaking his head greatly, absolutely refusing to do what they were asking of him. Clarke and Waverly gave each other a sly look, pretending like they gave up on the idea of Vadik getting naked as well. Waverly sighed, her face dropping. Vadik seemed to relax seeing that everyone was giving up. His face was still dark red, refusing to look at anyone. After about a half hour Waverly asked Vadik to go grab them something to drink, giving Clarke a wink. Vadik, not noticing the exchange between the two sisters, got up and went to go grab something for the group to drink. The instant he was out of the water, Clarke and Waverly jumped forward, grabbing his swim shorts and yanking them off. In fact they yanked so hard that they ended up ripping them almost completely off. Vadik stood frozen, the rest of the group whistling and grinning. Amasis was the loudest of them all, laughing, clapping, and cat calling.
At first Vadik looked angry, but after a minutes or two he just embraced that everyone was close enough, so he relaxed and continued to play and joke with the group. After a while of playing in the water the group got out, Vadik having to wrap a towel around his waist, and went back to their respective rooms. Towards the end of the night, Vadik having been reading for a while, the group finally found out where they were going to go next. Aborjan had gone to a school for witches and wizards, called Hogwarts. It was a hidden school that no human knew about until it closed down. It's been described as a massive castle-like school full of plenty of hidden rooms and passages. It's been told that Aborjan killed his mentor there, using his teachers favorite goblet as a horcrux. They would find the cup somewhere in the school, most likely in the dungeons, where lessons were taught. Vadik told the group what he found over night, Waverly frowning when she hear mention of the school. "We're no where close to that school. In fact it's almost all the way across Narnia. It'll take us a very long time to get there." Vadik shrugged, "It's where the next hocrux will be. Do you have any idea if there's a easier, shorter way there?" Waverly shook her head. "Not really. I don't even know where it is exactly, I just know the general area it's in. We'll have to get a guide if we really want to know how to get there."
The group went quiet, the happy mood getting slightly dampened. Elizabeth loudly screamed when suddenly someone plopped down on the bench next to her. Everyone tensed up, looking at the woman who sat next to Liz. She looked extremely tomboy-ish, her curly black hair tied into a lazy pony tail, she wore a leather jacket over a male shirt, and she wore riding pants and boots, a wand visibly strapped to her leg. Even though she was still absolutely stunning, Vadik could see burn scars peaking out from under her shirt, onto her neck, and a nasty scar that sliced through the tail of her eyebrow, and down her eye. The woman had a sly smile, looking at the stunned group, apparently very proud of herself for some reason. "You looking for Hogwarts?" The woman asked, her voice thick with a British accent. Vadik wasn't surprised that she knew about the school, seeing as she was clearly a witch. Meanwhile Elizabeth was cussing up a storm. "And who the hell are you?!" Liz glared, but the woman continued on grinning. Her brown eyed gaze landed on Waverly, who looked both confused and impressed. The woman shamelessly winked at Waves, who blushed and looked down at her hands. "Name's Davi, Davi Lapis. I 'eard you guys were looking for Hogwarts, obviously on royal business." She then looked straight to Vadik, doing what seemed to be a little bow, although the table was in her way.
"Wait... How'd you-" Vadik started, but Davi answered the question before he could finish, "Your sword, Love, is clearly the sword of the King. Golden lions 'ead, real leather sheath, plus everyone's talking about the King who's on a mysterious quest. Obviously you guys are talking about Horcrux, so I assume you're all this way from your castle looking for the horcrux." Vadik's lips pursed, glancing to Derowynn who was giving Davi a weird look. "Anyways, you lot never answered my question, you're lookin' for Hogwarts, right?" Vadik slowly nodded. "...Are you offering to help us?" Davi continued to smile, looking even prouder of herself, nodding. "Obviously you're not doing this out of the kindness of your heart, so why are you willing to help us?" Amasis asked, raising an eyebrow. "You're right, I ain't doing this because I want to go on some wild adventure for the fun of it," Davi said, pausing to point up at her eyebrow before shrugging off her jacket and pulling up a sleeve of her shirt. Peaking off of her shoulder was a nasty scar, looking as if Davi had been badly burned on both her front and back. Everyone looked shocked as Davi pulled her sleeve back down, putting her jacket on again. "Aborjan, that lil' rat, destroyed my village, all because we were a mixture of magic an' non-magic folk. 'E killed my family, and my girl. I want him dead for what he did to me and the love of my life. If that means I help the king and his company hunt down parts of his soul then sign me up. I want to be there when he sees my face, and remembers what he did to me as I shove a sword into his gut."
The group was silent for a few moments before Vadik extended a hand. Davi grinned wide, shaking it happily. "If you can get us to Hogwarts, you're welcome to help us defeat Aborjan. Just know that we're a tight group. We trust each other, and don't wrong each other... I don't know how well of a fighter you are, but we can train you if need be." Davi waved her hand at Vadik. "I can handle myself with my wand, and I have a good left hook, so don't worry about me. I'll do my best to fit in." Amasis was next to extend his hand, introducing himself. "I'm Amasis, boyfriend of the king, and a Guardian." Davi looked surprised at the Guardian part, not the boyfriend part. Elizabeth shook Davi's hand next. "Elizabeth, wife of the Queen, will kill you if you scare me like that again." Davi giggled, apologizing as she shook Liz's hand. Next Dero introduced herself, Davi giving a small bow. Waverly introduced herself, blushing a bit as Davi winked at her again, kissing her hand. Clarke was the last to shake hands with Davi, visibly trying to look intimidating. She stared Davi down, squeezing the new comers hand hard. Davi just looked amused, adding another wink to Clarke, who looked both annoyed and taken aback.

Waverly was sitting with the horses, cleaning their shoes and grooming them. Clarke started to pet her horse, watching Waves as she worked, not noticing Clarke standing there. The eldest sister cleared her throat, Waverly visibly jumping a bit. She looked up, smiling to her sister. "Hey! Is everything okay? You look like something's on your mind." Waverly tilted her head to the side, eyebrow raising a bit. Clarke pursed her lips, trying to think of how she should word her thoughts. "I know our relationship is a little weird, seeing as we share a father, but that doesn't mean my feelings for you aren't true. I do love you a lot, and I know you felt something for me at one point, but I feel like you're growing distant, and I don't know if you still feel like that anymore. I don't want to force you into anything, but-" Waverly cut her off, her smile fading. "What are you even talking about? How am I growing distant?" Clarke shifted uncomfortably, her fingers picking at the hem of her shirt. "It's Davi, I feel like you'd rather be with her then me. You two got so close so quickly, and I feel like Davi's trying to take you from me..." Waverly looked unimpressed. "You're seriously letting her get to your head? Clarke, I might have a thing for accents, but me and Davi are simply friends. A student teacher relationship. Of course I'm going to get close to her, she's the first magic user I've meet in a long time, and She's actually gone to a school for witches, so she knows many more spells then I do. Sure, Davi is flirty, but I've specifically told her that I'm with you. She understands and respects that."
Clarke stood there, feeling rather stupid. She had let her imagination get the better of her, and the lack of sex seemed to also be affecting her. "Right... So I have nothing to worry about?" Waverly smiled sweetly, standing up. She shook her head, walking over to Clarke and wrapping her arms around her shorter sister. "You have absolutely nothing to worry about," Waves whispered, bending down and sweetly kissing Clarke. Clarke wrapped her arms around Waverly, the kiss starting to get heated, the sisters soon stripping down and enjoying a little one on one time. Meanwhile Amasis and Davi were sitting by the fire, Vadik hunting with Khal the wolf. "So you're tellin' me that you have a pet wolf tha's not actually a pet?" Davi asked, raising a skeptical eyebrow. Amasis shook his head, explaining again, "If he was a pet, he'd sleep in my bed, and eat from a dish like other tame animals. Khal can hunt for himself, he is free to go wherever he wants, and he can easily kill someone if he doesn't like them. If someone was to try and take his food away, he'd rip their throat out, unlike a tamed dog who would just whine and pout." Davi laughed, nodding in understanding. "I still think it'd be cool to own a wolf."
Vadik was about a mile away, wearing all black, Arwen the bow in his hand. He was crouched down, his quiver full of arrows hanging at his side as he stalked a group of deer. Khal was a few yards away, silently trotting up to a long patch of grass, ducking into it. Vadik had a arrow ready to go in Arwen, keeping his fingers tightly on the end of it, ready to draw back if need be. Vadik crept up as close as he could without being seen by the feeding heard of deer. Khal had moved out of sight, Vadik trusting that he was somewhere close. Once Vadik picked out his target he pulled the string of the bow back, slowly raising his arms, aiming at one of the biggest bucks he could see. He was just about to let the arrow loose when suddenly something came up from behind him. Vadik spun around, shooting blindly at the thing behind him, jumping up. The movement caused the deer to sprint away, Khal bursting out of the bush after the food. Meanwhile Vadik was staring at a very angry black bear, which he has just shot in the shoulder. The bear stood up, towering over Vadik as he just stood there.
The bear let out an angry roar, Vadik turning around and high tailing it out of there. He could hear the beast lumbering behind him, making him go faster. Khal and the deer were nowhere and sight, and Vadik didn't want to run around and get himself lost. He veered off to the left, jumping over a large bush and squeezing between two trees, hoping he could easily lose the bear. Vadik had no luck, however, the angry animal still roaring and chasing after him. He didn't have Rhindon, the sword too long to easily hunt with, and it would be hard to get ahead enough to turn around and shoot the animal. Vadik could feel himself getting tired after 15 minutes of running in a big circle, hoping that maybe the bear would leave him alone, which it didn't. Vadik decided that maybe climbing up a tree would make the bear go away, so in one great leap he jumped onto a low hanging branch, scrambling up it. The bear could still easily attack him, so Vadik jumped and grabbed another branch above him, lifting himself up that one. He climbed up half the tree before stopping to look down. The bear was still going after him, attempting to climb the tree with its big paws. Vadik grabbed another arrow, pointing it at the bear. He shot, the arrow hitting the same shoulder he had shot before, but that only made the bear slip down the tree a little. Vadik climbed up the tree some more, stopping to look back down.
The bear was still climbing, Vadik shooting off another arrow. This time it hit the bear in the neck, slowing it down a little more. Vadik was about to climb up to the top of the tree when suddenly there was a flash of black, and the bear was ripped out of the tree. Vadik could see Khal tearing the hell out of the bears back leg, his jaw clamped as he shook wildly. Vadik quickly shot off his arrow, aiming for the head of the bear, who was turning around to attack Khal. The arrow missed, grazing the beasts muzzle, causing it to flinch away from Khal, who had moved further up the animals leg. Vadik shot again, hitting the bear in the back, only succeeding in making the bear even more mad. He aimed for its turning head again, this time managing to graze the beasts eye. Now a half blind bloody mess the bear was starting to give up, Khal, on the other hand, was refusing to stop. He jumped up onto the back of the other animal, relentlessly attacking the scruff of his neck. The bear rolled, trying to get Khal off of him. Khal yelped in surprise, scrambling off of the bear only for a moment, attacking again once the bear was standing again. Once again the bear rolled, but this time Vadik had an arrow ready. He shot, the arrow burying deep into the animals chest. The arrow had hit the bear in the lung and heart, blood coming out of both the bears mouth and nose. Khal attacked the bears throat, clamping down, managing to doge its flailing paws and jaw. Within a few short minutes the bear had gone motionless, Khal letting to of the beast, looking up at Vadik with a wagging tail.
Vadik, who's blood was rushing in his ears, slowly climbed down the tree, patting Khal on the head and going to inspect the dead beast in front of him. The bear was absolutely massive, but with Khals help Vadik managed to slowly drag it back to camp, where Amasis and Davi stared at him. By then he was covered in blood and sweat, and Khal was looking proudly at Amasis, like a cat bringing his master a dead bird. Amasis slowly stood, going over to Vadik, who looked exhausted. "Well that's a surprise," Davi said, getting up and trotting over to the dead animal. She inspected its fur, pulling the arrows out of the corpse. Amasis was doing a silent check up on Vadik, making sure his lover wasn't hurt. "Khal saved me, I was stuck in a tree and he came just in time," Vadik explained. Amasis went over to his Familiar, giving the wolf a good rub down, giving Khal plenty of praise. "That's one impressive feat, love," Davi said, still looking at the coat of the beat, "I could make this into a blanket, or coat if ya like." Vadik waved his hand, basically saying, 'do whatever you want', going and plopping down next to the fire, leaning against Amasis who was still petting Khal. Soon Vadik was asleep, and Davi was gutting and skinning the bear.

Davi was the first to wake up, jolting from the nightmare she was dreaming up. It took her a few seconds to blink away the fading images of her dying lover and her burning village, but soon her breath calmed down and she was able to realize where she was. The rest of the group was asleep, although Clarke, Waverly, and Vadik had gone back to their tents, Vadik not bothering to drag 6'7" Amasis into the tent with him. The sky was full of dark clouds, threatening to overflow onto the people who were still outside. Davi stood up, cracking her sore neck, mumbling to herself how sleeping against a tree isn't the best thing in the world. Davi stepped around the three who stayed outside, Liz, Amasis, and Dero, starting the fire back up and getting some bear meat and eggs on the skillet. Soon the food was sizzling, the sound and smell drawing a sleepy Vadik out from his tent. Davi grinned, Vadiks hair sticking up in every direction possible, a little bit of dry drool sticking to his beard, and the front of his pants were almost twisted all the way around.
Vadik attempted to fix his clothing, while patting down his growing hair. Sitting down with his eyes half closed Vadik mumbled what was suppose to be 'good morning', but sounded more like, "Gmmmrnng" Davi giggled a bit, nodding her good morning. The two sat silently, Davi flipping the meat and eggs when needed. She had put her hair up into a much neater pony tale compared to her hair the first time she met the group. After a while Elizabeth had woken up, much more gracefully then Vadik, although she had dirt on the side of her face. Davi asked her to go grab some berries for the rest of the group, handing her a basket. Vadik, after waking up a bit more, went to get some fresh water for coffee, which they had restocked at the last village they passed. By the time both Vadik and Liz were back, everyone had woken up, and were helping out. They ate their food, Davi surprisingly quiet, simply enjoying the sight of her new friends talking with one another. Vadik raised an eyebrow at her from across the fire, realizing her lack of input in the conversation. "What are you thinking about, Davi?" The black haired witch gave Vadik a small smile, glancing around the group, where were also staring at her. "I'm just wondering what I'm going to do after all of this is over, once Aborjan is defeated." Waverly looked confused, looking between Vadik and Davi. "I thought she was going to stay with us? Help us out in the Kings Guard? I figured her and Amasis would join, help me and Clarke out," Waves said, causing Amasis to smile and nod in agreement. "I mean that's up to Davi, if she wants to stay she can, we won't force her." Davi smiled and nodded, liking the idea of sticking with the group.
After everyone was done eating they packed up the camp, and headed out. For the rest of the week the skys were grey, and finally, after three days, it started to rain. The group kept going, trying their best not to let the constant wetness of everything dampen their mood. Davi was leading the way, giving the group an ETA every night they stopped. By the time a month passed sense the group set out from the springs Davi told them they had at most two more months. Eventually the group started to get a little irritable, Elizabeth wishing she could have a more comfortable saddle, while Waverly was struggling on a difficult spell that Davi was trying to teach her. Vadik was sick and tired of looking at trees all day, seeing as they were riding in the forest, Clarke was tired of Waverlys spells backfiring and hitting her, Davi having to undo many of the mistakes, and Amasis was getting tired of everyone's complaining. The only people who really weren't complaining about the lengthened riding period were Davi and Derowynn, who both were use to harder conditions, and constant traveling. Derowynn had practice back in the city, when she'd have to walk from state to state, or hitch hike, while Davi had been wandering around ever sense Aborjan came into power and killed off her family.
Eventually the group managed to find a village to stop in, spending two nights in an inn, and regaining their spirit. The first day was spent sleeping, everyone tired of their cots, while the second was spent shopping for new food, as well as fixing things that were broken through the month. Although the group wasn't very happy about it, they continued on for another month, although this time prepared for the hard ships of riding for over three weeks. On one of the last days of their second month Vadik had realized that the group had been traveling for a year. Vadik voiced this realization that night at the camp fire, the entire group going quiet. "Only you, Dero, and Liz are the original group," Clarke pointed out, causing Vadik to stop and think. The group had started out with five, quickly becoming seven with Clarke and Waverly. Thorin had died, making them six, then Violet left, the group becoming five again. They then picked up Amasis, becoming six, and finally they had become seven with Davi's help. "It's been a long adventure, but I'm glad I have all of you. I can't tell you how thankful I am to have such good friends, who will put up with all of this." Vadik smiled to the group, everyone grinning back at him.

Fifteen minutes had passed sense Liz and Dero had gone off to get water. At first no one thought much about it, Davi making a joke that maybe the girls were having a bit of fun in the snow. It was Amasis who pointed out that the idea wasn't exactly smart, and the girls knew better then to go off like that when they were so close to the enemy. Vadik decided to get up and go find the girls, slipping Rhindon onto his side. Trudging through the snow, Vadik followed the tracks of the girls. Vadik frowned when he saw that the tracks mixed in with a large group of others, ending at the water line. He looked around some more, finding no signs of the girls. Following the highway of footprints Vadik saw the buckets the girls were carrying on the ground, cast off to the side. Vadiks face dropped, realizing what it meant. Turning around Vadik hurried back to the camp, but by then he was too late. One of the patrols that had been sent out had already found the camp.
A small Satyr that was half the size of Vadik had been running away, Vadik assuming to go tell the enemy camp. The Satyr slammed into Vadik, getting knocked down. Vadik drew Rhindon, putting the tip of the sword against the animals throat. Vadik hesitated, the Satyr looked young, like a child, and terrified. Vadik visibly had an internal battle. The sound of clashing metal is what made up his mind. Vadik kicked the Satyr hard in the head, most likely fracturing something in his head, but it simply knocked the Satyr out. Vadik then hurried to the rest of the group. Everyone was fighting someone, although they were outnumbered. Vadik ran his sword through the closest enemy who had his back turned to him. Dodging out of the way of a leaping Khal, Vadik then swung at another enemy, who was expecting it this time. The two fought, but Vadik managed to put a hand on the mans helmet, the metal crumpling in on itself like a paper ball, crushing the skull inside of it. Vadik turned to see Davi get thrown by a bat man, slamming against a tree pretty hard.
Vadik grabbed a fist full of snow, throwing it in front of the bat man, making him pause long enough for Vadik to tackle him. Vadik punched the creature in the face, then slammed a fist into the mans chest plate. The plate crumpled around the enemies chest, piercing his lungs and heart like spears. Scrambling over to Davi, Vadik gave her a quick check up. She seemed okay, just winded and sore. A female scream is what made Vadik look up. Clarke had been overtaken by a rather large werewolf man, so Waverly had attempted to grab the man, only to get bitten badly on the wrist. Vadik got up to go to a screaming Waverlys' aid, but was knocked back by another soldiers club, his chest and ribs exploding in pain. Vadik looked to see Amasis slicing the werewolfs head off, helping Waverly by quickly field dressing the wound, seeing as most of the men were down. Vadik turned to the thing that hit him in the chest, which seemed to be a orc.
Vadik rolled out of the way of another hit, trying to grab Rhindon, which he had dropped in the snow while tackling the bat man. The orc grabbed Vadik by the back of the shirt, throwing him a couple feet backwards, swinging his club again. Vadik dodged, and tackled the orc around the waist, pulling him down. The orc wasn't wearing any armor, so Vadik couldn't manipulate the metal, leaving him to just fists. Vadik got a few hits in, but the orc managed to grab a sharp stick, driving it into Vadiks hip. The stick snapped where the orc was holding it, so it only went in a couple inches, but the pain was still enough to make Vadik roll off, yelling as his hip burned. The orc got up, raising his fist to punch Vadik, but instead got an arrow in the shoulder. The orc squealed, leaping backwards, but was too slow to figure out who shot the arrow. A second arrow went right between the orcs eyes, falling limply to the ground. Vadik turned to see that Davi was holding Arwen the bow, looking triumphantly at the dead orc.
Everyone was dead, no major injuries except for Vadiks hip and Waverlys wrist, which was already bandaged and the bleeding was stopping. Amasis ran to Vadiks side, Vadik looking at the fives inches of stick pointing out of him, at least three inches buried in his flesh. "We're going to have to pull it out," Davi said, also hurrying over. Clarke and Waverly were kneeling together, Waverly still in a lot of pain. Vadik nodded, grabbing a small branch on the frozen ground, putting it between his teeth. Amasis braced him as Davi pulled. The branch slid out slowly, Vadik screaming through the branch, but he didn't pass out. As soon as the stick was out Amasis was putting pressure on the wound, Davi pulling out her want. "I can't heal it, but I'll stop the bleedin'," Davi said. She mumbled a spell, and soon enough the bleeding had stopped. She went to Waverly, doing the same thing.
Once everyone had calmed down, Vadik standing, although limping with every step, and Waverly unable to lift heavy objects with her injured arm. "We need to pack up, move, and then go get the girls. They've got them, and I have no idea if they're dead or not," Vadik instructed. Amasis was quick to protest. "You and Waverly are hurt, we shouldn't be going and fighting another battle. If the girls are smart, they will try and lie, I do not think these men will kill them right away... The will probably do much worse..." Vadik looked angry, looking to Waverly, eyebrow raised. "I am alright to fight, don't worry about me," Waverly said, gesturing with her wand. "This isn't going to be up for debate, we're both fine, we're not going to let these small injuries stop us from saving Liz and Dero. I refuse to sit around while they're being tortured, raped, or both for all we know. We're packing up, and then we're going to find them. We have no idea how many more patrols there are out there, we can't just sit around and wait for them to find us." Amasis, although looking unhappy, nodded. The group quickly packed up, moving half a mile back from the camp. They waited till it was night before they left to go find the girls.

The group had been just about to set out to find Derowynn and Elizabeth, the sun lowering fast in the sky. Vadik had gotten up, wearing his armor under his cloak. The sound of someone approaching made the entire group freeze, Amasis quickly kicking snow over the small fire they had built. The group was completely silent, Vadik just about to draw his sword when a voice called out from the dark. "I know you are there, my King, I come in peace." There was a pause before Vadik nodded to the group, the fire being relit as they saw Taurus walking towards them. The Minotaur explained who he was, and although Vadik was skeptical, he allowed Taurus to speak and explain his plan. Taurus told the group to stay at the camp while he went and retrieved the girls, bringing them back to the camp. Vadik frowned, staring at the Minotaur. Huddling together the group talked it over quietly, Taurus shuffling impatiently. "You say you're a spy commander, and that it was you that imprisoned Derowynn and Elizabeth?" Davi asked, glaring. "I was put in a corner, I had to seem like I wanted the girls punished. As for the two sets of scouts, I needed to know where your camp was. One group searched one area, and the group that didn't come back told me you were in another area. Forgive me, I didn't think they'd actually try and attack you. I see that two of you are injured." Davi opened her mouth to give a sassy retort, but Vadik put up his hand, silencing the witch. "Get Derowynn and Elizabeth, it will help us greatly."
Taurus' face contorted into a weird look that Vadik realized was actually a smile. "I can do much better then simply gathering Derowynn and Elizabeth. I can get you into Hogwarts, help you get the last horcrux," Taurus chuckled. Vadik raised in eyebrow, looking skeptically at the bull man. "You're telling us that out of the goodness of your heart you're going to help us? Davi here is helping us because she wants revenge on Aborjan, you on the other hand have no reason to break your cover for us." Taurus stamped his hooves, now apparently frowning. "I am part of your army, Sir, there's no reason you shouldn't trust me. It would be my pleasure to fight along King Vadik and his company. I am willing to break my cover because it's my duty to serve you, which means getting the Queen and her wife back, and getting you to that final horcrux then I will." Vadik looked Taurus up and down, very impressed. Taking a limping step forward Vadik outstretched his hand, Taurus shaking it.
While the Minotaur went to go and retrieve Dero and Liz, Vadik turned to his group. "When Taurus gets back, with the girls not all of us will be going to Hogwarts. Taurus, Davi, Clarke, and me are all going, while Amasis and Waverly stay here with Derowynn and Elizabeth," Vadik instructed. Amasis quickly voiced his displeasure in the plan, "I refuse to let you go with that bull into unknown territory. What if you need my strength?" Waves also spoke up, "You need my help, too! No offense to Davi, but two wands are better then one." Vadik shook his head, putting his foot down. "Waves, your wrist is pretty messed up. I don't want to risk you getting hurt more. And Amasis, I need you to protect the girls, assuming Liz and Dero aren't in good shape. Taurus will be my muscle for now, we need you here." Amasis was still displeased, but nodded in understanding. Waverly, however, was still having trouble swallowing the bitter pill. "You're hurt, too! If anything you should be staying back, you can hardly walk!" Vadik raised his voice, sounding much like a king. "Waverly I've made up my mind, you're staying and that's that! I'm the one that knows what we're looking for, and I'm the one with the magical sword!" The group shut up quickly, Waverly mumbling an apology.
After about fifteen minutes Vadik heard Taurus and an extra pair of steps coming over to them. Amasis quickly hurried over, taking Liz from Taurus while Waverly lead Dero into a tent. Vadik, who was leaning against a tree, limped over to Taurus, Davi and Clarke following. Vadik gave a nod to the new member of the group, Taurus turning to walk away.
Amasis quickly called after Vadik, trotting out of Liz's tent. Vadik paused, looking back at Amasis with a small smile. The two lovers shared a kiss, Amasis hugging onto Vadik rather tightly, seeing as this was going to be the first time they were truly apart. "I'll come back, safe and sound, okay?" Vadik kissed Amasis again before turning and half limping half walking away. Soon the camp was out of sight, the group of five walking through the freezing night. Taurus lead them around most of the camp, but at one point they were forced to cross into the camp. The group, accept Taurus, put their hoods up, Vadik trying his best not to show his injury. No one questioned Taurus or the group, whoever tried getting close enough getting a rough snort from the Minotaur, telling them to back off.
Soon the group was walking down a unguarded road all the way to a large pair of iron gates. There was a snow covered coat of arms that Davi pointed out to be the school houses. There were four of them, Griffindor the Brave, Slytherin the Clever, Hufflepuff the Kind, and Ravenclaw the Smart. Griffindor had a griffin, Slytherin a snake, Hufflepuff a badger, and Ravenclaw a raven. The gates opened in the middle of the coat of arms, squeaking loudly. Everyone was on edge, Davi with her wand out while Taurus was gripping his massive axe like it was his life force. The group walked up the large driveway, gasping when they saw the building. It was absolutely massive, resting on a large island, the only way to get into the building was across a tall bridge, aside from some stairs going up the side of the cliff from the sea. Silently the company walked across the stone bridge, taking in the sight of the castle as they came up to the court yard.
It was easy to get inside, the rundown school not locked up or anything. "This is where you come in, Davi. Where do we go?" Vadiks voice echoed loudly through the empty stone passage ways. As usual, everything was covered in dust, having been empty for multiple years now. "I think there's a staircase tha' will take us down to the basement," Davi said, taking the lead. Sure enough the group managed to find the staircase. The problem was is that the stairs not only went up and down multiple stories, but the stairs also moved, turning from platform to platform as if they had a mind of their own. The group stared at the moving stairs before slowly turning to look at a sheepish looking Davi. "Forgot 'bout this part," Davi mumbled.

Vadik was pacing around on the landing they were on. They had been climbing up and down stairs for over two hours now, the group having been on one stair case which then suddenly moved as they were on it. Vadik was beyond angry, glaring and silently screaming every time the staircase they wanted to go on switched. At one point the group was about to go up a set of stairs that they had been waiting to move for a long time, but the stairs moved too fast, switching to another landing. Vadik got so angry that he drew Rhindon and started to slash and smash the railing of the stairs, yelling and roaring with rage. Once he was done, and the railing where he was hitting was completely smashed Vadik turned to the group. "This is completely useless... We need to find an alternative way," He growled, looking to a terrified Davi. "There might be an alternative way, let's go through this door." Vadik didn't have to be told twice. He shoved straight through the door, freezing when he saw what was on the other side of it. A massive three headed dog stood in the hallway. The group stared at the growling beast for a few seconds before bolting down the hallway, the dog heads barking furiously. "Can't you kill it?!" Vadik yelled back at Davi. "No! He's too big, and I don't have a clear shot," Davi yelled back. "What do you mean it's too big?! Waverly took out an oger that was almost that size before!" Vadik slowed down, taking a sharp turn. He started to notice that there were now doors on the sides of the hallway, Vadik realizing that they were in a school, so the doors probably lead to a classroom. "Waverly had a lucky shot if she took down an oger that easily!" Davi was yelling. Vadik skidded to a stop, quickly going to the closest door. He tried to open it, but it was locked. Vadik was about to turn and go try the next door when Davi came up next to him, used the spell 'Alohamora', opening the door. Everyone piled in, Taurus having to duck low to avoid hitting the door, avoiding the dog by inches.
Slamming the door shut, Vadik took a few steps back, panting heavily. "How do we kill it?" Taurus grunted. Vadik shook his head, still out of breath, "We don't. It's a waste of time, we'll just go around it." Vadik turned to get a look at the classroom. It was large, having seats on bleachers, like a collage classroom. Everything was still there, although covered heavily in dust. There were books, quills and dried up ink pots, even a cage on the teachers desk where a bird should be. "Why did Hogwarts shut down?" Vadik looked around, running his fingers through a dust covered desk. "After Aborjan came int' power, the school shut down. Some wizards went into hiding while others joined his side. People are too scared to actually fight 'im." Vadik frowned, walking farther into the classroom. There was a door on the other side, which opened up to a parallel hallway that wasn’t dog infested.
The group walked down the hallway, managing to find a normal set of stairs to go down. They went down multiple levels, coming out into a dark stone hallway that was lit with magical torches. ”Will we be running into any more trouble?” Clarke asked, looking to Taurus who nodded. ”Aborjan set up some men in here to guard the actual horcrux, not just the school. I’m sorry to say that they are wizards, so we will have our hands full.” Vadik frowned, glancing at Davi. ”What are the spells we’re going to want to avoid?” Davi chuckled a bit, as if it was a goofy question. ”All of ‘em, really. They’re most likely going to try and kill you as fast as possible, so they’re going to use Avada Kadavra, the killing curse. It’s a green flash, so if you see that or hear their spell, duck or get out of the way as fast as possible. The Imperius curse will make you feel excruciating pain, but you won’t see that spell comin’, although it’s rare that someone actually thinks of the curse while in a duel. There’s some other spells that can be pretty nasty, but most of them are reversible. Just in general try to avoid getting hit by anythin’.”
The group was silent for a while, only pausing when they realized they heard voices coming from down the hall. ”Stay behind me,” Davi whispered, walking ahead. Taurus was right, there was a group of five men all in Aborjans armor sitting around a large set of doors. When they saw their captain, the group paused in their talking and laughing, raising their eyebrows at the rest of the company. ”Hey, Captain. Who are these guys?” One of the wizards asked. ”Just some new recruits. I’m here to show them around,” Taurus tried to explain smoothly. None of the men looked convinced, glancing at one another. ”But we were told that no one’s allowed down here. No one even knows that there is something down here,” The same man said carefully. Taurus stomped a hoof impatiently, taking a few steps forward, ahead of Davi. ”These recruits are special, Gamzie, don’t question me. Let us through,” Taurus growled.
The group of five wizards all looked tense, Gamzie the leader still not looking convinced. ”I’m sorry, Captain, but I can’t let you do that,” He mumbled, carefully watching the minotaur. His hand was on his wand, which was now pulled out of his holster. Davi, who was watching everyone carefully, managed to beat Gamzie to the draw. He barley was able to lift his wand up before Davi yelled ‘Avada Kadavra’, hitting him right in the head. This sent the rest of the members into a panic, drawing their wands and shooting curses all over the place. The company scattered, ducking behind suits of armor and pillars. Taurus bellowed angrily, going after the man closest to him. Davi rolled out of the way, shooting a pair of ropes out of her wand while lying on the ground. The ropes tangled around the mans legs, hitting him with a force hard enough to knock him to the ground.
Davi then went after another man, who was trying to hit Vadik with a petrifying spell ‘Petrificus Totalis’. Davi hit him with a stunning spell, knocking the man unconscious. The soldier who she had bound with ropes tried to shoot a spell at her, but Davi managed to doge out of the way, shooting a killing curse at him. It missed, hitting the ground next to the man. Davi ran behind a suit of armor, the spot where she had just been exploding, the shock wave launching everyone back a few feet. Davi managed to shoot a killing spell at the bound man, hitting him this time. She then petrified the second to last man, Vadik and Clarke coming in and cutting down the final wizard.
Panting, everyone grinned at one another, succeeding in defeating five wizards in less than two minutes. Clarke killed the man who was petrified, driving her sword into his chest, as well as the man that Davi had stunned. The group went on, going up to the large black double doors that the wizards were guarding. Pushing open the doors, Vadik grinned as he saw the large goblet on a pedestal in the middle of the class room. ”We’re going to have to get out of here fast once I destroy this, I’m almost certain something bad will happen,” Vadik said to the group, who nodded. Pulling out Rhindon Vadik went up to the cup. He easily destroyed it, the smoke bellowing out of it before disappearing all together.
Vadik was right, the instant the smoke disappeared a hatch in the back of the room opened, a massive hungry looking spider crawling out of it. ”Run!” Vadik yelled. No one had to be told twice, everyone spinning around and sprinting down the hallway. The group didn’t stop running until they found their way out of Hogwarts, only stopping to take a breather once they were off of the bridge and safely on the edge of the woods. Vadik looked back at the massive castle, taking in the beautiful sight. It was almost morning, the sun peaking over the horizon, lighting up the castle beautifully. ”I hope that, once this is all over, Hogwarts opens up again,” Vadik thought allowed, grinning as he turns, following the group out of the woods.
It was easy enough to get back. No one thought much of the group, everyone except Taurus hiding their faces with hoods again. They got out of the camp, walking through the snow, finding their camp easily. It seemed everyone was still asleep. Wordlessly everyone went to their own tent, Vadik staying out to help Taurus set up his own tent that he stole along the way out of his camp. Once Taurus was all set up Vadik went to his tent, pausing when he saw Amasis sleeping in his bed. Vadik couldn’t help but smile at the sleeping giant. Trying to silently take off his armor, Vadik crawled into bed, happily laying on his warm lover, falling asleep almost instantly.

That night the group told stories about their journey to Mama June and Ginger, the two mothers listening intently. They stayed up late, talking and laughing, not going to their separate rooms till late that night. Before Vadik had left with Amasis to go upstairs Ginger stopped him. "Two months after you guys left, we got a letter from Isenguard, from Violet. She wanted us to find a way to tell you that she made it home safe. You were right about Caspian, he asked her to leave instantly, so now she's back with her Father. She's very sorry about what happened between you two, and she hopes you can forgive her." Vadik frowned, eyebrows scrunching together. He thanked the older woman for the information, going upstairs, followed by Amasis. The Guardian was silent, although Vadik could tell he had multiple questions he wanted to ask. Once in their room, Amasis spilled. "I know you don't like talking about your ex lovers, but I must know... If you had the chance to go back to Violet, would you?" Vadik froze, in the middle of taking off his boots.
He looked up at Amasis like he had two heads, confused as to why Amasis would be so worried about such a thing. "Of course I wouldn't go back to her, Amasis! She left our entire group because she couldn't handle this, she was cowardly and not strong enough for us. Why would you think I'd go back to someone who hurt me, and my friends?" Amasis stood awkwardly, looking down at his feet. "I know that sometimes our relationship makes you uncomfortable, and you've always been with women, so I'm just worried that you'll want to go back to Violet, because you're more comfortable being in a relationship with her..." Vadik was speechless, continuing to stare at Amasis. "Did you ever love her?" The question was so quiet that Vadik barley heard it. It took him a few seconds to answer the question. "I think I forced myself to love her. I had lost Rowen, and my heart was desperate to cling onto another person once it was fixed. That, and Derowynn and Elizabeth weren't giving me much of a choice." Amasis was still quiet, not looking up at Vadik. It took Vadik a second to realize that Amasis was crying, obviously jealous and worried.
Getting up, Vadik went over to his taller lover, wrapping his arms around Amasis. Amasis turned his head, trying to not look at Vadik, who couldn't help but smirk. He leaned up, kissing Amasis behind the ear sweetly. "I never loved Violet like I love you, Amasis... You don't have to worry about her, or anyone else. I'm comfortable here, in your arms," Vadik whispered into his lovers ear. Amasis finally looked at Vadik, blushing a bit as Vadik kissed the tears that were trailing down his face. The two kissed, first a small peck, but quickly trailing into a passionate lip lock. Vadik lead Amasis to the bed, pushing him down onto the soft furs. That night the two men didn't sleep, too busy keeping each other company. The next morning at breakfast everyone was staring at a ruffled looking Vadik and Amasis, most of them grinning widely. After a few minutes of everyone staring, Vadik finally asked, "Were we that loud?..." Everyone simply giggled, not answering the question.
Three days passed before Vadik finally told the group that they needed to get going. It would take them two weeks to get to Isenguard, if they went on the straight path. The group agreed to move on, saying their goodbyes to the mothers, packing up their stuff. Amasis summoned a crow to which Vadik tied a letter to, explaining to Caspian that they would be to Isenguard in two weeks time. The crow was sent out shortly before the group left, Amasis instructing it where to go. The first week went by fast, the group easily traveling through the woods, never running into any of Aborjans troops, seeing as the closer they got to Isenguard the safer they were. The second week felt like a month, the days going by slowly, and the group slowly growing more and more anxious. It had been a year sense Vadik, Dero, and Liz have seen Isenguard, and to the rest of the group it was like moving to a new city all together. Amasis was worried that Vadik would be judged for their relationship, but Vadik just kept reminding him that he was the king, and no one would dare try and break them apart, seeing as no one ever tried tearing Dero and Liz apart. On the last night the group hardly slept, everyone to excited. Davi brought up the idea that Taurus would become a general for Vadiks army, which Vadik quickly agreed to, saying that the minotaur could help him out in counsels. Taurus also agreed, happy to help his king further.
When morning came, the group spent a long while polishing their armor, and cleaning themselves up. Amasis tied his hair into a tight bun, Vadik trimmed his beard, Davi, Dero, Liz, and Clarke all put flowers in their hair, braiding it, while Waverly put her semi-short hair into a half up, wearing her wand proudly on her thigh. Taurus spent the entire time brushing his fur and polishing his horns. The group rode for multiple hours, not reaching Isenguard until noon. They decided to ride through the town, to show off that the they were finally home. It didn't take long for people to be drawn out of their houses, everyone crowding along the streets, cheering for the king and queens. No one seemed to even notice that Vadik was holding Amasis' hand as he lead the group, two by two, down the streets. Vadik was smiling wide, looking to a very nervous Amasis, winking at his lover. Just to be extra, Vadik leaned over to Amasis, kissing him on the cheek. He was laughing so hard at how red Amasis got that Vadik almost didn't see Violet staring him down. Unfortunately the two ex lovers locked eyes, Violet looking both angry, shocked, and relived at seeing Vadik home. Vadik just looked at her like she was another subject of his.
The group rode up to the castle, where Caspian, Dakari, and Merri were all waiting for them. The group quickly dismounted, Vadik hurrying to Caspian while Merri and Liz bear hugged one another. Vadik and Caspian hugged tightly, smiling to one another. "You've gotten skinnier!" Caspian said, taking in Vadiks appearance. "And you've gotten older!" Vadik laughs, the two kings hugging again. Amasis gingerly walked over to the two friends, standing a few feet behind Vadik. Vadik, seeing his nervous lover, quickly pulled Amasis over, keeping his fingers interlocked with Amasis'. "Caspian, this is Amasis. He's a Guardian, as well as my boyfriend." Caspian looked shocked, staring at Amasis, who was slowly getting more and more shy, his hand tightening around Vadiks'. "You're a Guardian?!" Caspian suddenly burst out. Amasis, taken by surprise that Caspian wasn't throwing a fit about the second part of what Vadik said, relaxed his hand, blinking at Caspian before quickly nodding. Caspian smiled wide, asking Amasis multiple questions, Vadik having to quickly interject before the conversation could get too long. He introduced the rest of the new group members, explaining who were wizards, who were now Kings Guards, and adding that Taurus was to be a general, as well as Vadiks personal war advisor. Caspian had no objections to any of what Vadik was saying, greeting each person happily, shaking their hands. "We can talk more about our adventures later, Caspian. For now, if you can show everyone to suitable quarters. I'm going to take Amasis to our room, show him around a bit." Caspian nodded, ordering multiple servants to show the group members to their new rooms. Vadik turned to Amasis, who looked much less nervous, now in complete awe as to what was going on. "Welcome home," Vadik grinned to Amasis, leaning up and pecking his lover on the lips.

Amasis honestly looked hilarious wearing a shirt. He was stiff and looked like his whole body was being constricted, despite the fact that the shirt was rather lose, and had plenty of room, even for a big man like him. Every time Vadik looked over to Amasis, he couldn't help but smirk, the Guardian standing there stiffly. During the picnic Vadik stayed close to the company, everyone looking rather confused and out of place. Amasis and Taurus stood awkwardly to the side, trying to act like they were use to such formal gatherings. Clarke and Waverly seemed moderately comfortable, but they were both apposed to dresses, instead wearing their usual riding clothing. Davi, who wore ripped pants and a leather jacket kept pulling out her wand and messing with unsuspecting victims, turning their forks into snakes and making the dead fox scarves around the ladies necks come to life. Vadik ended up having to take her wand away for the rest of the lunch, seeing as she ended up making a woman faint and hit her head when she felt the stuffed fox head on her shoulder lick her. "It's not my fault they wear funny cloths!" Was Davi's excuse.
By the time the lunch party finally ended Davi got her wand back, and Amasis ended up purposefully spilling wine all down his shirt so he had an excuse to take it off. As people started to depart the Company was taken away by the black smith, who was going to take their measurements for their Kings Guard armor, Taurus deciding he wanted to go oversee the training of some new men. Vadik, now alone, waited till most of the people were gone before he stood to leave, he stopped, however, when he saw Violet walking over to him. Vadik successfully managed not to frown, but it was visible in his eyes that he wanted to bolt. Instead Vadik stood his ground, standing tall as Violet went up to him. "You're looking well, your Majesty," Violet gave Vadik a sweet smile. The King didn't return the smile, simply looked at Violet with a blank face. Violet, after pausing to see if Vadik would say something, continued on, "I know we didn't end on good terms, but I still wish to be friends. I know it's a long shot, but it's still worth a try." Anger flared in Vadik, continuing not to say anything, even though he was saying a lot in his head. "I'd rather not, Violet," Vadik mumbled, turning and starting to walk away.
"Derowynn and Elizabeth forgave me, why can't you?" Violet called after him, now irritated. Vadik spun on his heals, taking two long strides back over to Violet. It took every ounce of his strength not to grab the front of her shirt and shake her. "They can forgive you, because they're not the one you gave up on. They can forgive you because they don't see that you're trying to play the victim. They can fucking forgive you, because they don't understand that I refuse to drag an unwilling member of the group around the country, which will end up slowing us down!" Vadik had started to raise his voice, but quickly brought it down to a angry growl when people started to look over at him. Violet looked just as angry, continuing to fight. "You could have talked me out of it! If I had known that you'd turn gay over this, I'd maybe try to make more of an effort, both in the group and in the relationship you gave up on!"
"You're upset because I'm with a guy now?! We both knew that our relationship was forced, and I wasn't as ready as I thought, and last I checked you were never homophobic towards Derowynn and Elizabeth!" Vadik gritted his teeth, angry and shocked that he was actually fighting with someone like Violet about this. "I actually loved you, Vadik, and jokes on me for thinking you actually loved me back. I'm not upset that you're dating a man, I'm just confused as to what happened to make you switch teams." Violet crossed her arms, frowning. Vadik, having enough of the conversation, quickly mumbled, "For starters he doesn't leave the group because he's home sick." Violet looked shocked, staring at Vadik as he turned and stormed away, fuming. Elizabeth, who had watched most of the fight go down from the woods, quickly followed Vadik into the castle. "Are you really not going to forgive her?" Liz asked. Vadik groaned, turning to glare at Elizabeth.
"I can't bring myself to forgive her for what she did. I'm not mad that we broke up, I'm mad that instead of speaking with me, she stormed off leaving the group." Elizabeth looked just as annoyed as Violet, crossing her arms. "Maybe you should have talked to her as well?" Vadik, tired of having the same conversation with a different person, turned and walked away. "This isn't about our relationship, for fucks sake! I know I'm not innocent when it came to me and her, but at least I didn't storm off because I was tired and home sick. She was selfish and was acting like she was the only one who was tired and wanted to go home." Elizabeth followed Vadik, continuing on. "Well if you stopped her from leaving you-" Vadik stopped, turned around and grabbed Elizabeth by the front of the dress. "Enough!" Vadik roared, his voice loudly echoing in the halls of the castle. "Why can none of you understand that I'm not going to drag an unwilling person around?! I tried to talk her out of it before we got to the Inn, but she was too tired and gave up. Stop talking to me like I'm the one who forced her out of the group! She did it on her own accord, she left us and that's why I'm mad at her, no amount of making me look like the bad guy will fix that!" Vadik shoved Elizabeth away from him, letting go of her dress, leaving her stunned in the hallway. Vadik went up to his room, throwing the door open to see Amasis wearing a prototype for the kings guard uniform, except for the make-shift chest plate. Amasis turned to Vadik, smiling wide, but stopped when he saw the anger on Vadiks face. "What's wrong?!" Amasis asked, hurrying over to Vadik, taking him over to the fire place and sitting him down in a chair.
After Vadik was done explaining the two fights he had Amasis sat there, frowning for a long while. "I want to meet this Violet woman." Vadik looked at his lover like he had two heads. "Meet her?! Why?" Amasis scoffed. "Just to see who she is, what she's like. Maybe me and her can have a calm conversation, seeing as you get all worked up and angry whenever you see her now." Vadik frowned, but accepted the idea, saying that they can go down to her flower shop after everyone else from the Kings Guard gets back from getting their measurements taken. Amasis changed, and went to go look for the rest of the group. Two hours later the Davi, Clarke, Waves, Amasis, and Vadik rode into town. Vadik showed the group to the flower shop, but only Amasis went in. Violet, who was arranging some flowers, turned with a smile on her face, which quickly disappeared when she saw who was walking into her store.
Violet looked both frightened, confused, and angry at the sight of Amasis. "What do you want?" She snapped, turning to look fully at the man who was twice her size. Amasis kept his usual grin on his face, calmly walking forward. "I just want to talk. Get to know the woman who made our King so upset." Violet was silent, glaring at Amasis. "My name is Amasis, if you didn't know. I understand that you and Vadik have a history together, and that you left in the middle of a very long quest, because you were home sick, and tired of the harsh conditions of traveling." Violet crossed her arms, looking very annoyed. "Are you here to make me feel like a horrible person, too?" Amasis chuckled, shaking his head. "No, I'm here to try and make peace between you and Vadik." Violet looked shocked, not expecting this from Amasis. "Currently Vadik can't look at your face without wanting to punch something, and honestly that's not very healthy. May I ask why you want to become friends with Vadik, even though he and you had a loveless relationship?"
Violet thought for a moment before answering with a shrug, "Even though Vadik was distant, we were still good friends. I enjoyed talking to him, and he really is a good guy. I regret leaving the group the way I did, but I couldn't take it any more. Vadik was right, I'm a flouriest, not a warrior. I know what I did was wrong, and I know that both our relationship, and the Inn reminding me of home is what drove me to leave. I should of talked with everyone, told Vadik how I felt, not just stormed off. I hurt everyone, and I know Vadik can't forgive me for letting the group down, but I'm trying to make amends for that." Amasis silently listened to Violet, nodding here and there, smiling a little when Violet was done talking. Violet looked down at her feet, frowning and tearing up a little. "I'll explain this to Vadik, and try to help him come to a rational, non-rage filled decision about all of this. It was lovely meeting you." With that, Amasis turned and left the store.

Vadik stood awkwardly, Elizabeth trying not to grin at his embarrassment. Vadik had no idea how to start off the apology, so he just sat down and looked sadly at Liz. "I'll start, so you can get your pride out of the way," Liz chuckled, "I'm sorry that I provoked you. It was stupid of me to attack you when you were already angry, and I can only blame myself for the way you reacted." Vadik shook his head, now finding the words he needed. "I'm a gentleman, I shouldn't be running around screaming at my sister-in-law, and violently grabbing her. I lost my temper, and I'm sorry I lost it on you. It wasn't very kingly of me." Elizabeth scoffed, grinning and grabbing Vadiks hand. "We're all human. Let's both agree not to fight like that again, okay? Not only will it ruin our friendship, but I'm sure Dero will kill you the next time you do something like that." Vadik blushed, looking down at the table. The two talked for a few more minutes before Vadik got up and walked over to the rest of the group, Derowynn walking past him back to Liz. The two royals paused, Vadik mumbling an apology to Derowynn, kissing her cheek before pouting over to the rest of the group.
By then Amasis was walking out of the flower shop, looking confused at the sheepish look on Vadiks face. He turned and managed to quickly spot out Derowynn and Liz, frowning as he went to Vadik. "Is everything okay?" He asked, putting a hand on Vadiks arm. Vadik nodded, "We were just making up." Amasis nodded, glancing over to Liz and Dero again before relaying Violets message to Vadik. Vadik frowned, feeling even more like an ass. When Amasis was done talking, Vadik looked at the flower shop, frowning. "How 'bout we all go t' the pub for a drink, an' then we'll figure out if we should talk t' Violet or not, eh?" Davi suggested, noticing how upset Vadik was getting. The rest of the group agreed, getting on their horses and riding off, Vadik in the center. Before they turned the corner, Vadik turned and waved to the far off Derowynn and Elizabeth, who walked back.
The group went to the bar, Waverly ordering multiple pints of ale while the rest of the group found a table that was in the corner of the room. "Personally I'd be stubborn and not let her back into the group," Clarke said with a shrug, "But that's because I value loyalty before comfort." Vadik leaned back in his chair, crossing his arms. "And as cute as that is, Clarke, we can't hold it against Violet, who's not a natural born fighter like we are," Waverly said with a smirk. "I feel bad for Violet," Amasis spoke up, "She knows she messed up, but she can't help it if she doesn't have warriors blood in her veins." Clarke frowned, not giving up. "Derowynn and Elizabeth don't have warriors blood either. In fact, I remember being told that Derowynn was extremely reluctant to go on the quest in the first place. You don't see her leaving the group, do you?" Suddenly Vadik spoke, "Derowynn and Elizabeth didn't leave because Derowynns the queen. She has a duty to help her people, and Elizabeth didn't leave because her wife was there, and she'll go wherever her wife goes. Violet not only had a loveless relationship, but she also had a father to go back to. Thorins death changed her view of the quest, made it more real. She never got to say good bye to her father, and the idea that she could get killed scared her into leaving." Everyone was silent, Davi coming back to the table with tray holding five pints of dark ale, handing one to everyone. She sat down, sipping her drink. "I don't think you should make her your maid of honor at your weddin' or anythin', but you should at least invite 'er to your weddin'," Davi said through a white foamy mustache, which she licked off.
The mentioning of a wedding made both Amasis and Vadik blush, the couple glancing at one another. Waverly, catching the exchanged look, grinned wide, looking as if she was holding back a secrete. "You two would make an amazing power couple if you had rings on your fingers," She drawled, her grin breaking into a smile. Amasis quickly pulled his drink to him, taking multiple long gulps. Vadik just glared at Waverly, catching on to her little game. "Who do you guys think would wear the dress?" Waverly giggled, the rest of the group giggling as well. "It would be a plot twist if Amasis wore the dress," Davi laughed, snorting a bit. Amasis kept quiet, continuing to chug his ale. "I think Vadik would have the brides maids, Derowynn being the Maid of Honor," Clarke said, winking at Vadik, who quickly stood up. "Okay, that's enough, drink your drinks and then we go," Vadik said, walking away to the bathroom. Amasis sat there awkwardly, the girls still grinning at him. Once Davi started to hum 'here comes the bride' Amasis bolted up and followed Vadik to the bathroom.
Vadik was leaning up against the counter, looking down into the water basin with his eyes closed. "I'm sorry, I'll be back in a few minutes, I've just got a lot to think about," Vadik said, glancing to Amasis. Amasis gave Vadik a warm smile, hugging him from the back. "Don't feel so pressured. I don't want to get married." Vadik almost spun completely around, looking upsettingly at Amasis. The Guardian quickly added, "Not right now, at least." Vadik physically relaxed, leaning back against Amasis. "Right now I want to just be here. With you, and our friends, and I want to take things slow. Maybe after this whole Aborjan fiasco ends we can think about maybe getting married, but for now we can just focus on what we have now." Vadik nodded, smiling a bit. He turned completely around, wrapping his arms around Amasis' neck. "You're amazing, you know that?" Vadik mumbled before leaning in and kissing Amasis. "Of course I know that," Amasis chuckled.

Two weeks had passed sense the company had returned home. Everyone was slowly learning their way around the castle, spending their days with each other and exploring. Vadik and Taurus, however, were busy the entire two weeks in meetings about what their next move in the war would be. Both Taurus and Vadik sat in the sessions for hours on end, bored out of their mind listening to old men bicker about the plans. Between meetings Vadik would go and find Amasis, spending the few moments he had talking and complaining, while Amasis just chuckled and tried to relax Vadik. Finally, one night, Amasis thought of an idea. "What if we take the weekend off?" Vadik, who was in his office reading over some maps while Amasis lay in bed, reading. Vadik looked up at Amasis, raising his eyebrow. "What?" He asked, tilting his head to the side a bit. "There's a little bed and breakfast place down in the village. We won't be too far away, and we can have a night or two to ourselves. It'll be like that one time we got separated from the group!" Vadik frowned, although he did think the idea sounded wonderful. "There might be an emergency that'll need my help," Vadik replied. Amasis kept his smile, knowing Vadik would always be hesitant to leave his castle. "We'll be less then ten minutes away. If they need us, they'll easily find us... Come on, Vadik, allow yourself to have fun this one time!"
Eventually Vadik agreed, after thinking up every scenario that he could. That night the two men went to bed chuckling and making up bogus reasons why they would be called back, both of them eventually falling asleep with a grin on their faces. When the sun rose, Vadik and Amasis went to breakfast, telling the group that they were going to be spending a day or two away from the castle and all of its politics. Everyone agreed, Davi commenting on how fun it would be to go to a bed and breakfast. The group continued talking and eating, but Vadik stopped halfway through a mouthful of bacon when he noticed a very out of place man walking into the room. He was wearing villager clothing compared to the soldiers and the lords and ladies in the room. It took Vadik a second before he finally recognized the man as Violets father. Vadik quickly swallowed his half chewed food, and slowly stood up, eyes locked on the man who was walking up to him. He looked... Worried, and scared, like something very bad just happened.
Violets father came to the head table, bowing to everyone. "Your majesties, I am Lucio... I am Violets father," The man said in a quivering voice, wringing his hands nervously. Vadik furrowed his eyebrows noticing the tears starting to brim in the mans eyes. "I... I'm afraid that Violet has gone missing," Lucio said, the tears filling his eyes more. It took a second for Vadik to process what Lucio had said, his face visibly pausing before realization crossed him. Vadik quickly walked out from behind the table, putting an arm around Lucio and leading him out of the dinning hall, Derowynn and Elizabeth quick on his heals. The group turned into an empty meeting room, closing the door quickly. By now Lucio was crying, tears rolling down his old withered face freely. "T-This is my f-f-fault!" He wailed, putting his face in his hands. Vadik glanced over to Dero, both of them looking confused and worried. "What happened?" Vadik asked, putting a hand on Lucio's shoulder.
"I-It all started after you guys left... I got b-bored of life after my daughter had stopped visiting me to go on your quest, so I filled my time with gambling. Unfortunately, I'm not the best gambler, and ended up losing more money then I could pay back, around the time that Violet came home. She found out about my debt, and tried to help me pay it off, taking over the store and trying to sell as much as she could. Then you guys came back, and she thought that maybe you could help us out, but it was too late. By the time she came to confront you guys, my bookies got tired of waiting. They took me, and said that they don't care about the money anymore, that they'll just sell me into slavery for the price that I owe. I don't know how, but Violet managed to find me. She told my bookie to take her, not me, that she would be worth more sense she was younger. I-I don't know what to do, that was three days ago, and the company I gambled with is known for being ruthless with their clients who don't pay... I-I'm afraid it's too late.... I only just remembered that you people could help..."
The three royals listened in silence, no one saying anything for a couple seconds, Vadik turning to look at the two girls. Both of them looked just as shocked as him. "We need to," Elizabeth whispered as the three of them walked across the room to privately talk it over. "I know we need to, but how? We don't know any of the details about this company, what if they have their own private army?" Elizabeth crossed her arms. "Do you forget that you're a king? You have your own army as well, and a kick ass Kings Guard... We can easily storm the building and get Violet back, along with any other person who's stuck in there." Vadik thought for a moment before saying, "We can take our group, go in, get Violet, we'll have backup waiting if we need it, and we can stop the corrupted company while we're at it." The three smiled, nodding and agreeing at the idea. They told Lucio they would help, Lucio thanking them a thousand times. Elizabeth and Derowynn took Lucio up to a room, saying that he could spend the night in the castle while they went to get Violet.
Vadik called the Company together, explaining the situation, and what they would do. "We'll have Davi infiltrate the building by talking to one of the people. Lucio says you just have to ask to make a bet and they'll lead you right in. Once Davi is in, She'll send red sparks out the window with her wand. We'll go in, back up waiting if we need it. Derowynn, and Elizabeth will go down to find Violet, the rest of us will fight off any men that come. Once we have Violet we get out, and the authorities come in to shut down the company for good." The group all nodded in agreement, everyone grinning a little bit. Vadik smiled and nodded, "We leave in three hours, get ready."

Everyone in the Kings Guard, except for Davi, was wearing the same armor. It had a light weight leather chest plate, tall leather boots, armor that protected their legs and groin, and finally a cloak. As Elizabeth and Derowynn searched downstairs, Vadik and Amasis, who refused to wear the chest plate, but accepted the cloak, went upstairs. Apparently no one had been alerted when Davi sent out the red sparks, probably having done it behind her back, or while no one was looking. Vadik and Amasis had their swords drawn as they quietly marched upstairs. Entering the first room, which looked to be an sitting room, with more doors in it, Vadik was pleased to see that no one was there.
Relaxing his sword Vadik looked around, walking to the first door he saw. Putting his hand door handle, Vadik paused when he heard laughter right below him. "We must be above Davi and the rest. We need to be quiet about this," Amasis suggested. Vadik nodded in agreement before turning the nob of the door slowly. Vadik opened the door a few inches, then suddenly threw it open, raising his sword to jab at anyone that was close to him. A man, who was sitting on a toilet, gave a surprised yell when the door flew open. Vadik quickly ran his sword into the mans chest, covering his mouth with a gloved hand. The man screamed against the glove, but his eyes slowly rolled to the back of his head, passing out. Vadik withdrew Rhindon from the toilet mans heart, the blade stained with blood now. Backing out of the smelly bathroom Vadik closed the door. Amasis went to the next door, throwing it open. No one was in the bedroom, nor in the room after it. Vadik opened the fourth and final door, reviling three men playing poker.
All of them looked surprised for a moment, Vadik taking the advantage and swinging his sword into the first man. The second two men drew their weapons, but the second man was struck down easily by Amasis. The final man seemed to be more trained in combat, managing to block a few of Vadiks blows before Vadik locked swords with him, punching his jaw. The guard fell to the ground, Vadik driving Rhindon into his side, piercing his lungs and heart all in one move. The noise of bodies falling and metal hitting metal made the men downstairs audibly stop laughing and talking. Davi, who was sitting on a large mans lap, visibly paused in her story telling, eyes flickering up to the ceiling above her. Quickly she went on, reaching the punch line of her joke, a now nervous twitch in her eyebrow. The men, although still visibly skeptical, continued to laugh and talk.
Amasis and Vadik went up to the third and final level of the house, trotting up the stairs quickly. However, right as Vadik got to the door, it swung open, a rather large man roaring in anger at the sight of Vadik and Amasis. The brute kicked a leg out, knocking Vadik in the chest, sending him flying backwards. Vadik rolled down the stairs, making a ton of noise, while Amasis managed to jump just in time, dodging Vadiks flailing body, and blocking a axe swing at the same time. Vadik lay motionless at the bottom of the stairs for a few moments, his entire body groaning in pain. The loud crash now fully alerted the guards on the lower level, the man who Davi was sitting on roughly pushing the Witch off of him, standing and glaring at the ceiling. Davi, realizing the gig was up, quickly drew her wand and sent a man flying through the door that Liz and Dero were listening through. The five remaining men all jumped into action, Davi dodging out of the way and quickly sending another blast of red sparks, alerting Taurus, Clarke, and Waverly, who all burst through the door a few seconds later.
Meanwhile, Vadik and Amasis struggled to fight the large axe-man, who had the upper hand being on higher ground. Multiple times Vadik and Amais were knocked back down, until finally Amasis managed to duck under a swing from the mans axe, and jab upwards. His sword sliced the mans belly, the curve easily ripping the stretched skin right open. Blood and guts poured out, all over both the two men and the stairs, making the wood slick. Once again Vadik took a tumble down the stairs, Amasis kneeling there, covered in blood and bits of organs that got cut by his sword. The axe man swayed where he stood, his weapon buried deep in the wall of the narrow stair case. Slowly he fell backwards, Amasis once again jumping just in time to doge the flailing body, which ended up landing right on Vadik. The two men could hear the fighting down below them, Amasis exchanging a bloody but worried look with Vadik, who was wiggling out from under the brutish axe man. Both of them hurried upstairs, trying to not slip on the blood that coated the bottom half of the stairs.
Once up on the final level, Amasis and Vadik could see what the axe man was guarding. There were at least 10 cages each housing a chained up person. Everyone looked either shocked or hopeful seeing Vadik and Amasis. Violet was in the farthest cage along the wall, her clothing ripped and the bottom half of her dress missing, reveling the fact that she was in fact forcibly raped. The once beautiful girl looked defeated, her right eye swollen closed, and her lip heavily busted. While Amasis broke all the locks on the cages, Vadik hurried straight to Violet, absorbing the door and the chains that held her. Violet fell limply into Vadiks arms, a cry of relief escaping her throat. Vadik heaved her out of the cell, the other nine prisoners quickly rushing out of the attic. Amasis hurried over to Vadik and Violet, inspecting the damage done. Not only did Violet get her face beaten bloody, but blood caked the inside of her thighs, and her wrists were badly chaffed where the chains rubbed when she pulled against them.
Vadik carefully picked Violet up, carrying her bridal style, looking to Amasis with a mixture of worry and rage. "Let's get out of here... Kill anyone you see," Vadik growled, Amasis looking just as angry as he nodded, leading the way down the steps. The three didn't run into anyone else as they went to the ground level, The men surprised to see that all of the women had managed to take down the group of five men. Most of them were either badly wounded, or knocked out, but there were a couple who were dead. Everyone had the same reaction that Vadik and Amasis did when they saw Violet, enraged at what they did. The Company left the building, Taurus waving down the large group of city guard. The captain came over to Vadik, eyeing Violet. "Capture all the living men in there... Arrest them, get all the information you need out of them, then execute them," Vadik ordered in a cold voice. The captain nodded, leading his men into the bloody building. Vadik gave Violet to Taurus, who could easily carry her as the rest of the group rode their horses, going back to the castle, everyone silent as they rode through the streets.

"Send our guards!"
"Do nothing, we can afford to lose that outpost!"
"Are you a fool?! That outpost is what's keeping Aborjan from coming here full force!"
a large group of old men all bickered and yelled, a small handful silently staring at the table, shocked that something like this would happen. Vadik, and Taurus stood there silently, waiting for the uproar to calm. After a few agonizing minutes of trying to decipher what was being yelled at him, Vadik looked to Taurus, who nodded at the look. "Silence! Let the King speak!" Taurus bellowed, the chandelier above them swaying slightly. The loud roar made everyone stop, their eyes wide with fear and surprise. Vadik, who had been sitting, stood and put his palms on the table. "We will not send the guards we have here, that's leaving the castle wide open for Aborjan to send another attack. We will pull troops from the Northern and Eastern outposts, they are the most dormant outposts, and have the most men. I will also take a group with me, and we will go with them."
The last part sent the consul into a frenzy. "Go?! You musn't go, we need you safe here!" Vadik crossed his arms, looking to Taurus again. "Quiet!" Taurus yelled again. Vadik thanked the Minotaur, then continued to explain his plan, "If Aborjan is there at the attack, Me and my Company need to be there to stop him once and for all. We've spent a year hunting, and destroying, the items that will weaken him, but he has one last item that is currently in his possession. A wand that can beat all other wands. No one else has the tools or knowledge to destroy it. Me and my group are going to protect our kingdom, and that's final."
Vadik and Taurus took their leave, walking out of the silent room. Quickly they told two messengers of their own to gather the proper amount of troops, but not to leave the other outposts vulnerable. The messengers ran off, leaving Taurus and Vadik to go and gather the company. Everyone had heard about the attack, and all of the Kings Guard was already dressed in their armor. Vadik looked at the group, pride in his eyes but a frown on his face. "This could be the battle that ends it all, you guys. If Aborjan is there we must focus all our efforts on him. He's a powerful wizard, but we have two powerful witches, a Guardian, a Minotaur, and three bad ass females. We can all do this." The group cheered, raising their fists up in the air. Vadik smiled a bit, telling the group to go off to get ready, but held back Dero and Liz. "I know both of you are worried about Violet. I won't be mad if you wish to stay here and watch after her. I do think that we need your man power, but I know how much you both are with Violet. If you chose to go, we're leaving in the next hour." With that Vadik nodded to them both, walking away.

When people say 'The Southern Tower' what they really mean is an old abandoned ruin of what use to be a watch tower. Set in a rocky valley surrounded by mountains, the tower overlooks a few roads that lead from Isenguard to other castles and towns. The watch tower was undermanned, due to everyone thinking that Aborjan was going to attack from North or East side. As Vadik rode into sight of the tower, he was shocked to see how much blood had already been shed. The ground was littered with bodies, although Vadik was pleased to see most of them were Aborjans men. The fighting was loud, and as Vadik rounded a rocky hill, he saw the war raging on. The Northern and Eastern guards were already there, giving them around 200 men. If Vadik had to estimate, however, there were at least 500 still standing men on Aborjans side. Amasis rode next to the stopped Vadik, looking worried but alive. "How are we going to defeat Aborjan?" Vadik shrugged, shaking his head. "He's going to be well protected, and hard to fight. I'm going after him to get his wand, once I managed to destroy it, everyone can move in and attack him." Vadik looked back to see everyone, except for a bouncing Davi and a calm Taurus, had the same look as Amasis. "I expect all of you back here when this is over.... However, if I don't..." Vadik couldn't finish his statement, his throat closing up with emotion. "We'll be right behind you, Vadik," Clarke said with a smile and a nod. Vadik smiled back before turning to look at the battle field again.
Drawing his sword, Vadik kicked his horse into a quick gallop, leading the charge of his men and volunteering towns members into the thick wave of men. Multiple enemies turned to look at the noise, their eyes widening as they saw the heavily armored Company, and another wave of 'soldiers'. They put their spears out to stop the Companys horses, but the group simply jumped over them, landing deep in the mess of things. Vadik slashed his sword on every side, feeling the blade hit skull and throat with each swing. His mount bucked and reared wildly, knocking people clear away from them. Vadik looked to see everyone else doing the same, although Taurus had gotten off, and was cutting six men down with one swing of his axe. Vadik jumped when he felt something sharp slash his shoulder, leaning off to the side just in time to be missed by another arrow. The arrow sank deep into his horses shoulder, the horse rearing and whinnying with pain. Vadik turned to see a bat man riding a horse of his own, grinning evily with a bow in his hand. Vadik, pulling the arrow from the bleeding wound of his horse, turned his mount around and sent it into a mad gallop. Men were knocked and trampled as Vadik ducked down, the bat man wildly shooting arrows in his panic.
Swinging his sword Vadik sliced the man clean in half, right before someone buried their axe into Vadiks horse's chest.
The horse fell forward, sending Vadik flying five feet through the air, landing on a rocky patch of ground. His head helmet hit a rock, the strap under his chin breaking and the helmet flying off. Vadik groaned, eyes blurring a bit as he struggled to remain awake. Vadik could hear something slashing and yelling, but he didn't sit up and look around until someone forcibly grabbed his breast plate and lifted him up. His eyes slowly adjusted, focusing on Amasis, who was wiping some blood from Vadiks brow. "Are you okay?" Amasis asked, standing Vadik up and slashing at a charging bat man, cutting him down easily. Vadik nodded, looking around at where they were. Vadik stopped when he saw a flash of green light a few yards from where they were. Vadik instantly recognized the light as a byproduct of the killing curse that he's seen many times before. Amasis had seen the light, too, looking back at Vadik confused. Vadik, however, was excited. "Go get Davi and Waves, I'm going to need their help!" Vadik yells to Amasis before charging into the crowed again. He cut and slashed, killing anyone who tried to stop him as he ran through the fighting men. Vadik stopped when he saw a clearing of men, Aborjan in the middle swinging his wand wildly around, flashes of green light hitting their marks, killing Vadiks men easily. Vadik let out a yell, Aborjan turning, shock on his face as he saw Vadik charge at him. Aborjan yelled the familiar spell 'Avada Kadavra', but Vadik baseball-dived down onto the ground, the green ball flying over him and hitting Aborjans own man in the chest. Vadik got up just in time to block a swing from a soldier, Vadik managing to easily over power him, driving his sword into the mans chest.
Vadik looked up to see Waverly and Davi both sprint into the clearing, stopping when they saw Aborjan. Amasis, however, kept on charging, his curved sword raised high over his head. Vadik couldn't even get out the words, 'no, don't', before Amasis was suddenly thrown to the side with a flash of red light. Amasis hit the ground heavily, but was still moving around, awake but breathing heavily, like his ribs were broken. Davi and Waverly sent out two different hexes, both of them being blocked by Aborjan, who was paying more attention to the two Witches then he was to Vadik. The King took that advantage to sprint at him, sword razed. However, Aborjan moved fast, blocking two more hexes from the girls, then turning and sending a bolt of lighting right in front of Vadik. There was an explosion, Vadik was thrown through the air, landing in a crumpled ball on the ground. His armor was smoking, and there was blood coming from his ears, nose, and a new gash on his head. Davi and Waverly paused in their hexing to look at the smoldering Vadik, relief flooding their face when he started to move, groaning. The girls continued to attack Aborjan as Vadik slowly started to get up. There was a bellow behind Vadik, who looked up with unfocused eyes just in time to see the figure of Taurus leap over him, axe in hand. Aborjan's form tensed up, ducking out of the way of a hex before sending a flash of green light, yelling the killing curse at Taurus. Vadik froze, the green light hitting Taurus right in the chest. The Minotaur, however, kept on running, although he had slowed down, something splattering out of his mouth that Vadik figured was blood. Aborjan sent another killing curse at Taurus, this time hitting him in the head. The general went down this time, although he was so close to Aborjan that he ended up hitting the wizards, sending Aborjan flying a few feet back.
Vadiks vision started to clear up, his eyes landing on the motionless Taurus, who's entire left side of the face was burned badly from where the curse had hit him. The Minotaurs eyes were still open, staring blankly into the crowed of fighting men, his mouth slack while his tongue hung out. Vadik, consumed by anger, tightened his grip on Rhindon, taking a few steps towards Aborjan, who was getting up now. Vadik was about to lift his sword and run at Aborjan, but Davi and Waves beat him to the blow. Both of them flourished their wands, both of them yelling, "Expelliarmus!" Two flashes of red hit Aborjan in the chest and neck. The force of the blow send Aborjan flying one way, his wand magically flying the other. However, the wand landed too far from Vadik, and Aborjan looked to be recovering quickly. As if a mirical happened, Derowynn, Elizabeth, and Clarke all appeared right by the wand. Vadik, acting on impuls, yelled out Derowynns name, throwing her Rhindon. Dero caught the sword, spotting the wand. Aborjan was now yelling, running towards the group of girls, but it was too late. Derowynn had swung down, slicing the wand clean in two. There was the explosion of smoke, Aborjan freezing in his spot, anger and fear mixed on his face.
Vadik took this time to run and football tackle Aborjan to the ground, his forgotten rage returning. Vadik got on top of the stunned Aborjan, and started to punch him repeatedly in his face, his armored glove doing an amazing amount of damage. Vadik didn't realize he was screaming in rage as he beat Aborjans face bloody, but when Elizabeth and Clarke pulled him off he attempted to go back and attack Aborjan again. Amasis, who was now recovering from being hit in the chest with a spell, grabbed Vadik around the middle and held onto his struggling lover. Vadik slowly calmed down, although his breathing was still hard. Clarke and Waverly grabbed Aborjan by the arms, sitting him up on his knees. Derowynn came out of nowhere and managed to get a good kick in the face before quickly being backed away by Elizabeth, who was grinning proudly. Davi looked at Aborjan blankly, her wand gripped tightly in her hand. Vadik grabbed his sword, and was about to drive it through Aborjan, but paused right as the tip dug into his chest. Vadik turned to the silent Davi, and offered Rhindon to her. Without hesitation Davi grabbed the sword, but didn't drive the blade through Aborjan. Instead she grabbed his bloodied face and looked down at him.
"Do you remember me?" She growled down to the defeated wizard. Aborjans cruel eyes studied Davi for a moment before he shook his head. The held back anger flared in Davi's eyes as she tightened her grip on Aborjans jaw, the wizard groaning in pain. "You killed e'ryone I ever loved. You killed my mother, my father, my two kid sisters, and the woman I loved. Now you jus' killed a good friend of mine," She pointed at the massive form of Taurus, "And you're tellin' me you don' remember me?!" Davi punched Aborjan, breaking his already broken jaw more. "I'm gonna enjoy this," Davi mumbled before taking Vadiks sword, and slowly sliding it into Aborjans hard. The wizards eyes went wide, and he started to scream although no one helped him, everyone too busy fighting. The light started to drain from his eyes the closer Davi got to the hilt of the sword. Once Rhindon couldn't be pushed into Aborjans heart any more, Davi continued to stand there, staring into Aborjans dulling eyes until finally the wizards body went limp, his eyes blankly looking back at Davi. Davi was crying, taking a few steps back. Vadik grabbed Rhindon, pulling the sword out as Waverly and Clarke dropped the body. Everyone stood there silently, some crying, some not sure what to feel or do. The one feeling everyone shared was relief... Their enemy they've been fighting for almost two years was finally defeated. And what was most satisfying, is that no one seemed to noticed that their leader was dead.

In the years to come, the King and Queen reigned as well loved rulers, praised for their bravery in the battle against Aborjan, and all the other wars that had come and gone. Caspian died an old man, surrounded by everyone he loved, in his former castle that he had gotten back after the fall of Aborjan. Dakari took Caspians place on the throne, ruling and helping Vadik and Derowynn when needed. Dero and Liz ended up adopting a orphaned boy, raising him, with the help of Vadik, to be the next King of Narnia. Vadik and Amasis ended up marrying, living with the rest of the Company in Isenguard. Davi never found love, but her favorite thing to do was play with Derowynn and Elizabeths' son. Clarke and Waverly ended up splitting from each other, although they were still close. Taurus was buried in a glorious grave, next to the empty grave of Thorin, magnificent statues marking each burial site.
Vadik and Derowynn ruled Narnia for over sixty years, and the first to pass away between the two was Vadik. He had already lost Amasis, who was just as old as Vadik was, so the King was ready to pass onto the next adventure. Derowynn sat next to him, her white hair in a beautiful braid. She held Vadiks wrinkled, scarred, spotted hand rightly, some tears slipping from her eyes. Vadik just talked quietly about the old days, thinking back on that one adventure they had, their best adventure, where they rode all around Narnia hunting horcruxes and defeating evil. Elizabeth, Waverly, Clarke, and Davi all joined in the reminiscing. Vadik slowly closed his eyes, a smile on his old face as he passed away thinking about Amasis and all the amazing memories they had together.
The funeral was beautiful, and right after Derowynn and Elizabeths son was sworn into Kinghood, along with his wife and child. Derowynn and Elizabeth both died in each others arms, content in their sleep. One by one the rest of the Company passed away, their stories becoming history that all the children learned in school. Back on Earth the memory of Vadik Nadir and Derowynn Hopkins was erased, their existence wiped away so that no one would miss them, or remember them.
