RULES
• Godmoding. Not funny, at all. If you do this, I will issue a warning. Do it again; and I will have to remove you.
• No Autohits. They will not be tolerated. If you Autohit, the other character has a direct hit on you. It's fair. Example:
Bob punched Sally in the face and she died
• Cussing is so-so. You can cuss, just don't be Hidan.
• Romance. I like it. Feel free to fall in love with whoever, as no Homophobia will be tolerated, but don't make it take over the main plot.
• My word is final. Sadly, not all disputes are ended fairly. If you have an argument with someone, I will end it if it gets out of hand. Which leads onto our next rule which could lead to this one....
• Oi! Don't get angry at the RPer because their character stabbed yours. That is their character, not them!
• Try and be original. I don't want to see Naruto clones everywhere.
• I know everyone wants to be the sage of six paths with every ability and whoop ass, but no. Your abilities should be to scale and match your character.
• Literacy is a MUST. If you struggle with spelling there is a spell check, people.
• Thank you for reading through the rules, and enjoy the Roleplay.

The Story So Far... Write a Post » as written by 11 authors
A gentle breeze rolled through the villages. It had been a quiet day, apart from the usual bandit attacks that seemed to become normal after the war. Very little had happened other than the new Kages coming to the summits every now and then. Really, next to nothing had happened since the war.
Shigi walked through the forest of dead trees, on occasion he knelt down to take some leaves and test to see what direction the wind was blowing. Just in case he lost his target. He heard a rustle of leaves other than the ones he was holding, and he smirked.
"Shishimaru, come out already. I know that you're hidi-" He laughed, but was cut off by a blade coming down towards his head at an alarming rate. He laughed and sidestepped. "Damn you, Shigi! The Kodama is ours!" Shishimaru screamed, swinging his blade at Shigi. He took another step back, and whipped out a Shuriken. He flicked it towards the male's head, and it landed on target. Right on his scalp. He collapsed, a puddle of blood forming beneath him.
"Hey, you! That was our kill! Tell us your name!" A girl shouted. She had dark brown hair that was held together in a ponytail by a headband belonging to no village in particular. She seemed to be shorter than Shigi, and she had a veteran Ninja with her. Oh, how this would be fun.
"I have nothing to say to those who shall soon be dead." He muttered, his face going blank. The Veteran Ninja grumbled and unsheathed his Katana. "Then we'll have to beat it out of you!"
Half an hour later
They must have been fighting for a great deal of time, as Shigi was showing signs of fatigue and he had one small scratch on his knee. He twisted his arm and brought his blade up. "It's over." He muttered. The blade caught both Ninja's swords and hurled them into the ground. He leaped back, and that was when he recognised the headbands.
"You are skilled. Iwagakure ninja, correct?" He muttered. They both nodded. "Apologies. I thought I was alone in this hunt." He continued, which was met by the Iwa ninja relaxing. "I don't need the body. Do as you please. I've finally met a worthy foe. That's enough for me." He continued, yet again. He turned away from them, and dispersed into crows feathers. A voice was heard just after he left.
"Shigi is my name. We shall meet again, no doubt."
"You know? I have no idea." She said, getting a roaring, WHAT!!? From her Biju, "I don't know, although i think we are close to a hidden village. That's a good sign." She said, happy as can be, and the turtle went, "How the hell did you get a month vacation, you can't even navigate your way to a village." He was always sarcastic, "Well, the Mizu is a big sucker for the heads of S-Rank crimanals, so i guess that." "Good Point." He said as she made her way down the path.
Around half an hour later, she noticed something moving beside her, and was not surprised with a ninja blade came out, almost hitting her, but she had great instincts, so she jumped back, "Finally, this vacation was starting to get dull." The Turtle said as more blades came came, earning the thrower a Hidden Mist Jutsu from Lia. The mist was to thick to see out of, but Lioa had learned to use Chakra in order to find others. She quickly found the target moving around frantically, and then started performing hand signs. "Water Style: Water Shark Bomb Jutsu." She half yelled, and said with utter glee. The water sharks hit their mark perfectly, and after a moment of screams the sharks vanashed, and Lia cleared the smoke.
What was left was a not pretty, although she could tell the face, he was a B-Rank, not worth much, but she should probably tell the Mizukage anyway. She did a summoning jutsu and out came a turtle, small and one she knew. "Hey, Tsuki. Can you please take this body back to the Mizu please." "Sure thing Lia." The turtle said and vanashed with the body. "Not as much fun as I wanted." He said, and Lia ignored him and continued on her merry way.
She was walking when she noticed someone up ahead, male and most likely a ninja. She knew that he could be trouble, so she made a water clone and had it stand back in case something went down. She appoched the figure, and annoced herself by coughing very loudly, so she didn't have to sneak up. "Hey, you! Do you know where the closest village is? I am trying to find one, can you help me?" She said calmy, as to not scare him and Isubo told her, "Lia, this should be fun." He said wondering if she would finally use him again to help.
"UGH!!!" she said angrily, flipping the desk and it's contents over, "I'm Kazekage, not some clerk! I should be out working with my fellow ninja, or at least helping teach kids about clones... At... The... Academy..." She grinned devilishly as her plan grew in her mind. She made the signs to one of the jutsus most used for battle, but best suited for doing this kind of work.
"Kage Bunshin no jutsu!" she murmured, letting her chakra flow out of her and form into an exact copy of her, waving away the unburned chakra that always formed as smoke away.
"Stay here and get this work done, I've been summoned {by myself} to assist in training of the students at the Academy." The clone nodded it's response, and got to work putting everything back in place. Rin made a mental note to see why her clones never talked, at least to her. {The least they could do is say "Yes, ma'am", or even "Okay, Rin", right?} she thought to herself as she hopped out the window and sped across the village, her ribbons streaming from her arms to act like grappling hooks as she swung from building to building. An Anbu soldier leapt up after her and said as they moved throughout the village, "You do know running is faster, right?".
"SCREW THAT, THIS IS FUN!!!" she laughed, as she swang from one pole to a building ahead. "And besides, Tsubame," she continued, "I've been stuck in a bloody office for the past hour, I don't want to get rusty!"
The ninja smiled under her mask, and took it off, revealing a black haired kunoichi.
"You always know it's me, don't you, Rinnie?"
"Of course! You've never moved like anyone else ever since you took that kunai to the hamstring! I should know, I was the one that had to take it out!" Tsubame frowned a little, noticing the twinge in her left leg again, and kept following Rin.
"Headed off to help the children again?" she said, stepping off of a ledge to keep up with Rin.
"You know me too well, Tsubame, and yes, they're our future! If I don't make sure they know which end of the kunai is sharp, who will?" The two laughed, and headed off to the Academy.
"Are we almost there yet?" She groaned as they continued walking.
"If not, I demand a piggy back ride. If so," She started and then a smirk grew on her face as a shine was added to her eyes.
"Do I get to kill?" She finished while her mind flashed to the images of her dead parents and sister. The thought almost made her start laughing again but she decided to keep it in as to not freak out Yuu. The thought actually almost took over her again but she decided to control it this time. Yuu seemed nice to her so far so why kill him?
Iwagakure
As the sun peaked over the crests of the mountains, signaling a new day for all the inhabitants of Iwagakure, the Tsuchikage could be seen standing on the rooftop of the Tsuchikage's Mansion. It was somewhat of a daily routine for her - something that was relaxing. As the village leader, her job was practically 24/7 with no time for breaks or relaxation of any kind. It wasn't a productive day if Riyo got more than five hours of sleep, or so she thought. But her training and internship with the former Tsuchikage had prepared her for this task, this career, and this responsibility that she had over the citizens of her village.
Riyo took a deep breath in, filling her lungs with the pure, unpolluted air as she basked in the warming glow of the morning sun. Despite being born and raised in the Land of Earth, the morning sunrises never failed to amaze her. It was a natural wonder on its own, enhanced by the heavenly backdrop of the mountain ranges and thick, lush forests and breathtaking waterfalls on the mountains. Perhaps one of these days she would retire from her position and live out in the mountains. But the solitude was something Riyo doubted she would ever be able to cope with. It was simply too lonely being in the wilderness.
Drawing her attention back to the village streets, Riyo watched intently as the villagers began to set up their shops and prepare for a new day's work. It brought back memories of her childhood - the family shop, waking early in the morning and helping her mother and father in order to quickly open their small general store for business. Their village was quite close to Iwa. In fact, you would have had to pass it in order to get to Iwa, but it was so small that it must have been barely noticeable to most, and with the constant bandit raids, the population dwindled until finally, there was no one left. They had all moved to Iwa. In a way, Riyo had these bandits to thank for inspiring her to become a kunoichi. Had the raids not happened, Riyo would have most likely become an exact replica of her parents - running a shop of her own, living like the villagers she watched over. A simpler life. But Riyo would never trade being the Tsuchikage for anything else. It wasn't the title or the fame that came with it, it was the sense that she was improving the lives of the villagers day by day, and ensuring their safety through the boring talks and letter exchanges between villages (to form alliances). That was all she needed.
She looked around, analyzing her surroundings. "Hm... should be in the Land of Waves... maybe even close to Kirigakure. Staying in a major village for a night or two wouldn't hurt, really..." Emeli toyed with that idea for a while in her head, considering the pros versus the cons.
"You know it's not even likely they'll let you in the village, kid." She sighed. Shukaku always had to put in his input on things, expressing them inside her head in his shrill, manic voice.
"Shukaku, you can't keep being negative like that. It doesn't hurt to try," she said to the tanuki inside her head. Before Shukaku could respond, however, Emeli heard a loud crash of water, coming from the nearby forest. "What the hell was that?"
"Go check it out, Em. Dooooo ittttt~," Shukaku responded in an almost sing-song voice. Emeli sighed and went toward the source of the sound. While walking toward it, Emeli noticed large gouges in the ground. She kept going, following the trails the gouges left. Walking up to one, she hopped in and out of it to test the depth.
"Goes to about my thighs. That can't be too great..." she said to herself, sighing. "Well, let's see this." Stepping further toward the source of the noise, Emeli saw a group of people in the distance. Observing more closely, she noticed a majority of the group were what seemed to be exhausted Kirigakure Jounin. The more interesting group, however, was the four look-a-likes on the right. "Clones?" she thought to herself. There was another individual near the four look-a-likes, but she couldn't tell much about him or her due to their hood. "Here goes nothing..." she murmured under her breath.
Stepping out of the trees, she cleared her throat slightly. "Um... hello?" Once she said that, all of the look-a-likes turned and looked at her at the exact time. She tried to ignore that slightly. "So... what's going on with the sounds and terrain? Is something attacking?"
"Glad to see you could all make it." he said as he got close. The Jounin bowed to him and he returned the bow. "So you all know the drill. One single cut and we are done." He then started with the hand symbol Tiger and said "Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu." and then jumped in the air once he landed three other clones of him landed. The fights lasted for an okay about of time and then he started to use his Water Dragon Jutsu and began throwing them at his Jounin. Pieces of the Earth began to get gauged out. He knocked over a few trees making some really loud noises.
When Matsuyo was about to say that they were done for the day but before her could come out of hiding a girl had come out of the trees and said "Um... hello?" she had then asked "So... what's going on with the sounds and terrain? Is something attacking?" Matsuyo then came out from a tree near the girl. "I am helping them train. Nothing is attacking. Those gauges you see would be because of me." The water clones fell into water as he started to talk. "If I am ask what brings you here to my Village?" He asked the girl.
"So, you say you're... training here? Those ninja look like their dead on their feet. If I might ask, what sort of training exhausts a person to such a severe extent?" Emeli questioned the man, looking at him. "And furthermore, who would that hooded figure be? He or she is the only one I couldn't get a read of before approaching you."
"Being risky, kid," Emeli heard the Shukaku say in her head. "That there's a Kage if I've ever seen one, and you're questioning him? Good luck."
Tetsu admired the Mizukage in many aspects. Not many of the other kage would go out and train with their jonin head on. Of course, maybe he just wanted to see if the village's fat needed trimming. Not even a jonin can meet the high standards of some hidden villages. Whatever the case, the day went on without any major problems. Tetsu excused himself from the session so he could work ( he got a lot of practice resting his eyes in a nearby tree ) when a sound came from right next to his head. The ring of a bell. Tetsu's eyes snapped open. Someone had tripped one of the phantom alarms he'd set up along the perimeter. He was about to go out into the forest and hunt down whoever tripped it when he saw somebody approaching the Mizukage in the distance. Even from this far he could tell it was a local and wouldn't you know it, she was standing between few water filled gouges left by Lord Matsuyo's jutsu. A devilish grin crossed Tensu's face as he put one hand up his sleeve. "Well, well, making me work. Shame on you, stranger. I just hope..." He pulled out four tiny cloth figures with crude, comical faces drawn on them. "... they can make this interesting."
The second Matsuyo said, "If I may ask, what brings you here to my village?", four hooded figures emerged from the tiny pools of water surrounding the intruder, surrounding the girl and all keeping the senbon they wielding in their right hands aimed at her throat, ready to stab if they made a move as they all smiled like madmen. "Well, aren't you an interesting once," chimed the one in the back as he gripped his senbon tighter. The one to her right chuckled and said, "Little early in the day to be catching spies as bad as you." The one in front of her brought up his free hand and tapped the forehead protector she wore around her neck. "Sunagakure is slipping up from the looks it," he stated before the one to the left turned his head towards Matsuyo and asked, "Should we kill her now, sir?"
Matsuyo looked at the girl. "I am the Mizukage of this Village. Its nice to meet you." He said Matsuyo held up his hands in the Bird seal and said "Suiton: Suiryūdan no Jutsu." And a smiled slid across his unseen face as a Water Dragon emerged out of the small creek from behind the two and charged at the Jounin.
"Scatter!" one of them yelled as they all jumped to get out of the way of the Dragon as it ripped another chunk out of the earth. He turned his head to see the Jounin breathing heavily as one of them sat on the ground from the dodge. He turned and looked at him. "We train again tonight!" he yelled. "Until you of you can cut me once we will train twice a day." He turned back to look at Tetsu. "Now please we shall show our guest around town. Will that make you feel better? I have to talk to the villagers to see what needs improved anyways." Matsuyo then started to walk towards the village "You may all rest for the day. Back here after dinner." he said to the Jounin
"I understand your caution, but you really should gauge your opponent before doing something so forward. If my intentions were spying, I would not have been caught. If my intentions were assassination, your Mizukage would have been dead before you saw me. And, finally, if I wanted to assault the village, I'd tap into the power of the Shukaku before showing up," she said, a slight mocking tone to her voice. "Your protection of your Mizukage is admirable, and I commend you for this. However, you should figure out a person's intentions before attacking them. Especially..." Emeli clenched her fist slightly, feeling the Shukaku's blood lust starting to increase. "Especially when your opponent is one who outclasses you so greatly, as I do."
He quickly straightened up and gave a polite wave, smiling toothily as he spoke. "If we'd received word that you were coming all the way from Sungakure, we would have had a team ready to escort you into the village." Even though they weren't really what anyone would consider VIPs, jinchuriki were still powerful shinobi and as long as they didn't go across the land performing large scale genocide, the safest thing you could do was treat them politely. "I apologize. As a member of the Mizukage Guard Platoon, it's my job to be cautious. You understand, right?" He reached his hand up and put his hand in his hood, messing with the back of his light blue hair as he smiled like an idiot, hoping to defuse the sudden tension the woman was giving off.
She looked at the sleeve the dolls receded into. "Interesting jutsu, by the way. I knew something was off about them, but I wouldn't have guessed something like that. I haven't seen anything like that before." Emeli turned, walking toward the Mizukage. "Now, I believe your Mizukage said something about a village tour? We mustn't keep him waiting now, hm?" she said, smiling back at Tetsu.
"Well damn," she heard Shukaku say in her head. "I wanted to see some action. You should train with this Mizukage some time, though. That would be a fight to see." Emeli smirked at the idea.
"Maybe, Shukaku. Maybe."
Tetsu pulled this information apart and sorted it in out in his head before the girl said anything else. Theory or not, it's always better to be the more informed shinobi no matter what the situation in. After she complimented, or at the very least commented, on his golems, she brought up the tour that Lord Matsuyo had offered. Tetsu pulled his arms down to his sides and dug his hands into his short's pockets as he walked past the girl and towards the Mizukage, lifting his right hand and motioning her to follow for a brief instant. "If you are given some kind of tour, there'll have to be a quick sweep of the city's more delicate sections before you're allowed within our limits. While you may not act like a spy, we still have to be cautious. And of course I'm sure you'll have no problem with a handful of our sensory experts making sure you don't have anything illegal or particularly dangerous on your person."
"Good grief, do you ever shut up?" he muttered under his breath, pulling a hairband out of his pocket and using it to tie his long black hair into a ponytail. It was getting warmer as they proceeded to their base in Amegakure, and Yuu was beginning to feel all sweaty and sticky from the massive amounts of humidity in the air. At times like this, Yuu just wanted to murder whoever decided that their base should be in the village hidden in rain.
"Ten minutes," he muttered under his breath. "Only ten fucking minutes more." Clearly, Yuu didn't have the most eloquent taste of words, nor did he seem to care that his partner was only a bit more than a child. "No, you do not get to kill," he stated in an annoyed drawl. "Our leader," the emphasis he put on the word made it clear that Yuu wasn't the biggest fan of the leader of the Akatsuki, "would not like that, wouldn't you agree."
"That reminds me..." she thought to herself. "Excuse me, um, Mizukage-sama? Have you heard anything about any organization seeking out jinchuuriki like myself?" she asked him. She had heard tales of the Akatsuki from years ago, a group that sought out the jinchuuriki to remove their biju from them forcibly. And when she had caught wind that they might be back in her travels, she felt uneasy, but had set it away in her mind. Thinking of that war, though, brought it back, along with all the fears and nightmares she's had about them extracting Shukaku from her.
"Tsubame, I've been thinking..." Rin said, her ribbons almost acting of their own accord to pull her through the city. Tsubame grinned at this as she interjected.
"A dangerous pastime for you..."
"I know, I know... But why don't we have a ninja in every village?"
"As in spies? We already have those, Rin."
"No, no, I mean like emissaries to the villages, ninjas that can act for either village and help the villages grow closer together. This can also allow us to quickly respond to any threat to our village and dispose of it."
"Rin... Never get thoughts like that. They're too brilliant to actually work."
"Not when YOU'RE the test subject!"
Tsubame slid to a stop in the air, and hovered as Rin formed a rail to stand on with a ribbon.
"You're kidding. Me, of all people."
"You expect me to trust anyone else, sis?"
Tsubame went to say something, then sighed.
"Where do you want me?"
"The Land of Mist, I think they might do you some good."
"And you'll want me back when?"
"Whenever you wish to come back."
"Any advice before I leave?"
"Yeah... Try to be amicable, and don't use Sage Mode unless you need it."
Tsubame nodded, and soared into the air, taking off towards Kirigakure at speeds that would make a falcon cry. Rin looked after her with a sigh.
{Be safe, sis... Please...}
With that, she took off towards the Academy once more.
Suddenly, she heard the word "Leader" escape his mouth. Suddenly, she was happy again and pulled his arm along to get him to move faster.
"Yes, I agree. Now hurry up! We get to see Leader-senpai!" She said excitedly as she started dragging along Yuu at a fast rate. Nothing was going to keep her in between her and her dear Leader.
"Now get your ass moving!"
Those words rang in her head for a bit. She looked up at the Mizukage after he said that, and noticed him lift his mask up to wipe off his forehead. While he did this, Emeli noticed some strange scars along his face. They seemed to have a bluish tinge to them, and they seemed to trace along the chakra pathways in the left side of his head, with a distinct scar on his lip. There were wavy lines emanating from the lines on his face, as if they were waves of water across his face.
"Uh... if you don't mind me asking... Mizukage-sama, what are those scars on your face? They look very unique, and, um..." she trailed off in the middle of her sentence, worried that she was going to offend the Mizukage. The last thing she needed was the wrath of a Kage. That's bad enough for anyone, even a jinchuuriki such as herself. She looked down and sighed. "I... really shouldn't speak my mind, sorry for being so forward..."
With that thought, she analyzed what the Mizukage said. Not that there was much to analyze, really. He was very brief, only mentioning that whatever he did to become the Mizukage led him to nearly die. "That could mean anything, really," Emeli thought, partly to herself, and partly to Shukaku.
"Sure it can, kid. None of it good, neither," the tanuki responded. Emeli smirked slightly.
"Something wrong there, Shu? Worried about a little water?" she giggled mentally, knowing she was pressing the demon's buttons. Not only did he hate her pet name she gave him, he was always sore when it came to the subject of him being made of sand.
"Aw, shut it. See if you can find a place to rest, I'm exhausted," Shukaku said in response. Emeli just giggled again, this time outloud. Despite how manic the demon was, he loved to rest just as much as he did kill. Emeli then turned around, waiting for the Mizukage and Tetsu to finish before asking one of them where she could sleep.
