"OR, she can drop by her village sometime soon, maybe pay a visit to some people who miss her?" She said cheerily, completely forgetting she was a Sand ninja in a different village, unannounced, at that. "How've you been, Emeli?"
"The bird is here? Lovely. And what're going to do about her? I don't mind clipping her wings," said Shukaku, with slight malice in his voice. Emeli sighed.
"Shukaku, be nice. We're strong, but even I don't believe that we could easily defeat a sage. So be nice, at least enough to where she won't want to kill us," Emeli said, chiding him. She looked to Tsubame, then to the Mizukage. "Well, Tsubame-sama... I was being shown around the village by these two... one of who, might I add, is the Mizukage," Emeli said, slightly embarrassed for Tsubame's sudden appearance in the village. She hoped that this wouldn't cause tensions between the two, she didn't want to be the cause of a political conflict.
"Because she was sent by an even bigger dragon to act as the smaller dragon's assistant and to go on missions for said smaller dragon so that she can learn more about the cultures of other villages. And stop posturing, you'd only waste chakra trying to hit me and do more damage to your own village." She spoke with perfect evenness, not only unshaken by his chakramist, but actually mocking the very thought of the two fighting. However, she kept herself from going into Sage mode to prevent the Mizukage from knowing anything more than what he saw. She did, however, take one of her specially designed shuriken and send it spinning in the air in front of her, the shuriken's edge whistling a little tune as it spun around her as it was held aloft by the wind, showing where she had gotten her moniker "The Sage of Song" from. Her wires, kunai, and other weapons save the feather blades on her wrists all had this ability as well, letting her weapons sing a funeral dirge for her opponents. But this was regardless, as she didn't plan to use any of her weapons on this man, and if he should try to fight her, the one shuriken she had out would be enough.
"Hiiii, I'm Rin Kaname, Kazekage, but you can just call me Rin! I sent Tsubame here to help you out with any missions you wouldn't want to send your own units on alone, in exchange, you can send one of your people here! I've done this as an act of good faith for our villages, one Suna ninja for one ninja from your village for six months out of the year, at which point they return to their own villages to report what they've learned about the other village's cultures! Think of it as an exchange program for ninja instead of scholars!"
She liked this village a lot, although it got way to hot for her, she liked it to be cool. She was eating some ramen she had goten from a place in town, walking around looking at what ever she could find, when she noticed some fimilar figures standing near her.
"Isubo, that's the Mizu, what's he doing out?" She wondered and Isubo only insulted her lack of ability to tell that he was probably on a mission. She decided to walk up to him, and saw Tetsu, that guy scared her a bit, always with the illusions. Also with them was someone she didn't know, and a girl who came out of the sand. "That was cool." She thought to herself before walking up.
She bowed to the Mizu out of respect, "Mizukage, it's good to see you." She said hugging him, she didn't know if she should or was interupting something, but it hardly mattered to her. "Hello, Tetsu. You still incharge of the Mizu's protection?" She said to him playfully.
"And you two are?" She said to the duo, and she did recognize the girl. She was a Kage, but she didn't change her question just because she remebered a fact.
"That would be Rin Kagame, Kazakage of Sunagakure and my sister. I'm Tsubame Taka, Sage of Song and probably the strongest ninja in the village." She intentionally left her sentence ambiguous, in order to make Lia question whether she was referring to Suna or Kiri. "I apologize for answering in my sister's stead, but that's a Sensor-class jutsu that will only see the target, as it locks on to their specific chakra reading, ensuring the speaker won't lose track of the listener, and so the listener can be heard clearly in response. I should know, I helped make it." She spoke everything with no pride, malice, or sorrow. She only spoke the truth, as if it were the time of day she spoke. She then continued to spin her whistling shuriken in the air, now forming a small ball of wind around the shuriken as she practiced her wind control.
Kurama could sense his sadness and disbelief." There's no need to be like that. Here's one piece of advice, Be yourself. Never let anybody tell you how your supposed to be."He finished with a proud smirk. "Your right. Now I'm just a bit nervous, hahaha! Linaku bursted out with just at the end of the forest. "wow. I'm not even that far from home and everything looks different." Linaku astonished to see. "That's how the world works..." Kurama murmurs and drifts off in to thought."W-what's wrong?" Linaku sounding concerned about Kurama."hmm? oh...nothing. Just....wondering..."He said keeping to himself. "Wondering about what?" Linaku replied. "Wondering if your gonna get into academy! Hehe...Probably not." Kurama says very cheekily. "What?! I'll show you, Foxy! I'll pass!"Barking at him, echoing through his mind."Linaku.There's the village." Kurama says with a tone of happiness mixed in.Linaku stops to glance at the gates and surrounding walls where he will be starting his life."...Nice View." He simply murmurs in a quiet tone. " The amount of times people get in to this village..."Kurama says annoyingly. I wonder why he says that? I think it would be pretty hard to get in. I mean, look at the size of the walls! the only way you could get through there is from the sky. "I doubt that." Linaku starts with sounding all smart with himself." The only way you could get in there is from the sky or run the walls."He continued. "you can actually." Kurama announced. "you can what?" "run up walls." "what?!?! " Linaku shouts out with out evening noticing the crowd all turn and look at them. "Well, if you can run up walls...I guess it IS pretty easy to infiltrate this village." He thought, believing Kurama with out any thought. "Yeah,OK. Start walking. you shouting out is making the crowd gather and stare at you funny.and not the good funny." Kurama shares with Linaku.
"Hmm..?" Linaku jumps at every one staring at him and starts to pace quickly toward the academy. "Well, at least your speedy." Kurama jokes. "Shut up, Foxface!" Linaku shouts through his head jokingly and smirks.
"What a nice start, hehehe." I think.
Despite the fact that Yuu often said that Enya complained a lot, he could be quite the drama-queen himself. He tugged on his shirt, groaning slightly. "Ugh. Why is it so fucking humid here?" he groaned unzipping the fur jacket, also undoing a few buckles so that it could hang open, exposing pale skin with multiple lumps, his ribs clearly visible. People often accused of Yuu not eating enough, but really he was just that thin because he couldn't sit still long enough to actually allow any fat to even think about accumulating.
"Then get up and decide to go faster." She said irritatedly. She never liked not getting her way.
"Also, zip up your damn coat and get over the hotness. Your wearing a fuzzy coat for Christ's sake." She said while tapping her foot, waiting for him to get up. Making her wait to see the leader was always a way to get on her bad side.
Emeli waved slightly before speaking. "I'm Emeli Katsumaki, if anyone really cared. Seems like I'm being a little ignored, so I thought I'd put my word in," she said, smiling. She directed her attention to the new girl specifically, whom she felt an odd sensation of familiarity from, as if they had something in common. "Hello, who might you be? You're the only one I'm unfamiliar with here, and I'd feel terrible if I didn't at least know your name." Emeli spoke with a smile, despite her irritation. It was always good to be nice to people, lest you wish to make an enemy out of a potential ally. In reality, though, she hoped to disarm the hostile situation. The Mizukage and Tsubame were at ends with each other, and with the Kazekage randomly showing up, she was worried what would be done with herself. Additionally, the Mizukage insisted that he accompany them back to Sunagakure, which worried her slightly. And who would he send as an answer to Tsubame? She was unsure of the caliber of ninja in Kirigakure, but she couldn't imagine much aside from one of the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist being an acceptable answer to a sage.
Shigi stepped forwards, making his presence known, albeit subtly. "Lady Rin, Lord Matsuyo. It is an honour to see you - Ah, and who might these be? Accomplices?" He muttered, looking at the others. He nodded at Tetsu in greeting, but his smile quickly faded into his usual apathetic look. His eyes were locked onto Emeli. He knew her. The Jinchuriki that held the one tailed beast. He quickly shifted his gaze to Tsubame. She seemed familiar, but he wasn't completely sure.
He turned to Matsuyo and Rin. "I have come to tell you that Shishimaru, the Kodama Dealer, is dead. He should've rethought his plan and turned himself in to one of us. Shame, really." He muttered, his voice no louder than a whisper. It was one of Shigi's habits to speak quietly. "However, it would be in your best interest to attend the up and coming Summit in the land of Iron. This is where I shall discuss this matter, and no more shall be said here."
He sighed, and looked at them fully, rather than shifting his gaze now and then. "On a less formal note, I've been wondering how you've been and how your villages are. Konoha is reasonably quiet at the moment. And it seems to be having warm weather." He smiled, actually speaking at a normal tone for once.
"And.. Er... If you two.. And possibly Lady Riyo.. Wanted.. To um.." He stammered, struggling to speak. "Wanted to.. You know.. Visit Konoha for a day or two... I'd be welcome to have you." He finished, his face pale with effort. It wasn't like Shigi to ask anyone for anything. But hey, can you blame him for wanting to be friends with the other Kages?
"Or, I have an idea. Why don't I just cut out your tongue so that you stop complaining?" While most people saying something like this would have meant it as a joke, Yuu's tone made it very, very clear that it wasn't an empty threat. He knew that the leader of the Akatsuki would probably get annoyed at him if he were to harm Enya, but, at this point, Yuu was just about ready to risk the leader's wrath.
"Are you sure you wanna die?... Because it seems you have a death wish..." She said as a darkness surrounded her. She never could stand someone thinking her inferior. She chuckled as she let her insanity out slightly. She had to hold some in in case if he suddenly took it back.
"I wonder... am I allowed to kill him?" She muttered to thin air. It was more directed at herself but she couldn't keep up the facade of sanity while her powers were being used. She nodded quickly to the thin air enthusiastically, still not looking back at him. Suddenly, she spun around with a smile plastered over her face.
"Still wanna die Yuu-san?" She said in an overly happy and innocent voice.
"Does no one ever listen to me? I said only the Mizukage can say anything to that shape and expect to be heard. For Karura's sake, can't I have one person listen to anything I say?"
With that, she just sat down cross-legged where she stood and folded her arms. She then closed her eyes.
"If anyone needs me, if you can even hear me, I'll be asleep right here!" she said, and immediately went to sleep, still sitting.
