Personality
Benkei has been a very competition oriented person all his life, it is is greatest strength and his greatest weakness. He has a bad and immature habit of viewing people around him only as obstacles to overcome, especially his own master who he strikes to surpass with every waking moment, and he has absolutely no problem with vocalizing those desires. Usually that wouldn't be such a problem, every teacher wants nothing more than their students to be better than they are eventually but the thing about Benkei is: If you have nothing to teach him then you're a waste of his time. It is for this very reason that most of his peers find him completely unlikable, pretty much the only people that can stand him is his own squad mates and even they get fed up with his attitude at times. It is a poor personality trait that will end up holding him back as a ninja if he fails to grow out of it.

History

Because of his competitive attitude that he is driven to become a strong shinobi and asset to his village even though he has everything going against him down to his genetics, there hasn't been a single shinobi in his family before him simply because they are genetically predisposed to chakra control so horrible being a shinobi was never really an option for them, but Benkei would not accept this.

Ever since he was old enough to dream he dreamt of becoming a shinobi and once he was old enough to enlist in the academy he would not take no for an answer, however his hereditary inferiority made itself known very quickly and it took many, many failures and torment from other students to realize Jutsu was out of his reach. Did that stop him?

No.

He was determined to be the best and if he could not wield jutsu on the same level as his peers then he had no interest in working all his life just to fall short, so he chose to focus on training his body while jutsu remained secondary. With everyone so focused on jutsu what better way to stand out than to become a Taijutsu master. By the time he graduated and earned his headband he could move at speeds far greater than even most chunin and more than strong enough to hold his own in friendly sparring matches with some Jonin. Not only that but through rigorous training in chakra control specifically,he managed to develop his own technique to enhance his destructive ability with his lightning style. It is far from perfect however as it can only be maintained for very brief periods of time, so brief it bares the need to only be used just before directly launching attack or defending from one.

So how is it that such a determination be a bad thing? Simple, he just doesn't know how to turn down a challenge. If he is seriously challenged at something, literally anything he will accept it whole heartily and without hesitation no matter how ridiculous it is, it's for that very reason he has become known around the village for his iron stomach. He's eaten more strange things that he can remember, even some ninja tools purely to win a challenge. However in a more vital weakness it causes in him is recklessness, pure and simple recklessness which many Jonin and his parents admonish him for on practically a daily basis.

Benkei recently failed his Chunin examination during the final tournament because he was to sick to even get out of bed let alone win a fight. Why was he sick? Because he accepted the challenge of swallowing 25 smoke bombs without them going off...and won.

Signature Techniques

Senkou Bunshin no jutsu
( Flash Clone ) : A clone jutsu where in the clone, when destroyed, erupts in a flash of light blinding enemies.

Sajin arashi no jutsu
( dust storm ) : Benkei simple twirls his fighting stick fast enough to kick up enough dabree to buffet his enemies and leave them more vulnerable to his attacks

Kaminari no danmaku no jutsu
(Thunder Barrage) : A technique involving multiple strikes at very high speeds. It begins by charging at his enemy to give them illusion of a frontal assault, make them believe they've easily read through a simple attack and just before they launch a defensive or a counterattack that moment is used to get behind the enemy and deliver high powered kicks to the inside of their upper thigh. A strong enough attack to this area will cause an enemy to collapse. As their legs momentarily become to weak to support their weight. Kaminari Todoroki is then utilized to deliver a critical blow to the small of the enemy's back, sending them to the ground and effectively disabling their legs.

Kaminari Todoroki no jutsu
( Thunder Roar jutsu ) : Benkei focuses lightning nature chakra to his feet and first to not only dramatically increase the speed and physical damage of his taijutsu, but stun his enemies with each blow.

Raijin
( Storm God ) : Benkei focuses his lightning chakra into a super condensed orb of raw, destructive power held in his left hand. It is a very powerful and risky technique because it is so unstable. It requires the user to be capable of immense control which is achieved with the assistance of a special device worn around his left wrist, and it requires incredible speed as it is quite literally a ticking time bomb that if held for to long would surly detonate and kill Benkei.

NOTE: The technique is still in development. He practices it in complete secret and has yet to actually use it during a mission because it is still unstable and has many kinks that needs working out to before risk using it in battle.

So begins...

In the middle of a forest clearing, a group of four can be seen. The team seemed to be training with the sparring method, one on one.

The taller one of the team, seemed to merely observe the other three in a calculative way and seemed to take mentally notes. 'Prishe.. More thoughtful and observant, not one to jump into the fro without a plan.' She glanced at Benkei. 'However Benkei still remains competitive and quiet the opposite of his opponent. He seems to go for more of a offensive move because of his forward style..' She then watched Nishimaru. 'A powerful opponent, defiantly with the special blood line, he is observant, similar to Prishe.. As well as rational. A nice trait the both had..lazy though." she mused. As she spoke, she started to think of ways and methods to improve the cons and pros, but to also unite their trust. It seems that the Prishe and Benkei have a thing for drawing back from certain people, even Nishimura, but not to the same extent. From what she saw from Daichi was that he was more loyal and enjoyed finding ways to lean or to allow people to lean on him in any way. Nevertheless. They all needed work.

'I can't deny though that they progress so quickly however..' She mused, pleased. 'Very talented.' Yes, Its only been a month or so, and they have achieved skills that most average genin didn't get till they were a bit older. Katsumi assumed it was the motivation of the three that got them to where they were- but she knew it didnt end there. IF anything, they could do things for both the good and bad in an amazing way. 'Its only time that sto..'- Katsumi abruptly stopped.

A sudden vibrate hit her strings and she turned quickly-a natural reaction for her, But instead of attacking, the uzumaki scanned the messenger calm;y and nodded as a greeting. Silent as always. Giving the team a quick look, the messagner stepped foreward towards the red headed sensei. "Katsumi, you must report to the tower quickly, the raikage has something to inform you."
'How sudden' Katsumi blinks. 'A mission perhaps?' Something about her team?..it was only a week ago that they had their examination.' Strange..

But she couldn't leave the order unattended, so she turned to Prishe, Benkei and Nishimaru. "As you heard, I need to report to the tower..but that doesn't stop you from training.." She said with a small smile, looking at every one of them. "However you may take a break, Ill be back." And with that, she walked off before disappearing in the shadowed trees in a flurry. It left the genin alone to do their bidding however unknown to them, she left a few things to make sure they were not out of hand. Though, she doubt that she had to use any of them. They were good after all.
-
Running on the roofs, she poofed away after a few hand seals and appeared at the door of Megami's office. Surely, the raikage knew of her presence, but she stood quietly anyways. "Im here Raikage." Her voice naturally hushed. "May I enter..?"

"As you heard, I need to report to the tower..but that doesn't stop you from training.."

Benkei had no desire to pry into her privater matters so he grunted a dismissive reply, turning his back on her as well to face his squad-mates with a distinct irritated frown. In a mission situation if they were separated from their Jonin leadership would be transferred to a single squad member, or the only active Chunin among them. For them Prishe would be their leader by default because even though she is a pip squeak of a shinobi, she outranked the both of them, and he was clearly still bitter about it. According to him the only reason she made it through the exams was because he never got matched up with her earlier on and was incapacitated and could not participate in the final rounds. He had his eyes dead set on Lady Raikage's star pupil since the very start of the chunin exams and it fries him up inside knowing she passed; he'd missed his chance to take her down in front of Lady Raikage herself, and to make matters worse just a few weeks ago they sent her out on a mission alone and by the state of her she came pretty close to failing that mission and maybe even death. It was an idiotic gamble to make.

He contemplated leaving the two of them behind to practice his new jutsu in private but decided against it. He could tell that their master was growing suspicious of the time spent training on his own, away from the squad. At first it made sense, in the chunin exams one could easily get put up against a member of their own squad so it behooved them to train in private in order to bring something new to the table in order to surprise an enemy already familiar with their style of combat, but because he was never able to participate in the final rounds they never got to see what he had been working on all that time so it stood to reason that there was no longer any reason to train in private. Yet he persisted and any attempts to spy on or follow him were thwarted so it was clear he was going the extra mile to ensure no one ever discovered his new jutsu.

" well you heard Uzumaki sensei, get back to training " he barked at the two of them as he returned to practicing his basic strikes on a wooden dummy set up specifically for basic taijutsu training. He was taught early on not to focus only on the big flashy moves, but to also constantly refine the basics. And he did just that. At this point he rarely even practiced his thunder style in front of them; The hum drum routine of basic kickboxing strikes and kicks were the ideal method of leaving no hints as to what new jutsu he was secretly developing.

On a tree near a forest cleaning sat a golden haired youth motionless and apparently relaxing in the sun. Unlike his comrades the youth was not doing anything at least to the eyes of the passing observer apart from occasionally staring at the sun.

The name of the youth was Daichi the lazy; Lord of hesitation, prince of hindsight and known bird watcher extraordinary. Daichi was indeed quite a character however apart from the first of these titles only Daichi ever addressed himself in such an extensive manner.

Daichi gazed at the sun and noted the receding tree shadows, any minute now…

Nearby to Daichi's position a series of mirrors tied to the branches shined reflecting the sun's rays. A thin rope was tied to one of these branches and a heavy stone was tightly tied to it. The rope began to burn as the concentration of reflected sun rays produced by the surrounding mirrors pushed it beyond the materials endurance.

As suddenly as smoke began to form the rope snapped. From the base tree the falling stone violently released a dozen shuriken grenades held at the top branches, the grenades detonated sending a host of shuriken towards Daichi's position. Other strings stretching from the base tree to a dozen others retracted as the weight of the stone dissipated.

A host of trigger operated Kunai launchers released another wave of metal creating a cloud of Shinobi instruments all headed towards Daichi's tree.

Daichi immediately jumped off the tree top and descended hopping from branch to branch trying to avoid the traps he had set up on them. A number of Shuriken tags detonated in harmonious chaos with a needle bomb however Daichi had the unfair advantage of knowing where he had set up his traps.

The earth aimed second wave of Kunai and needles greeted Daichi as he reached the ground forcing Daichi to jump back to the branches he had just arrived from. As soon as he arrived Daichi was greeted by a surprising untriggered needle trap, Daichi unable to doge the attack countered it with a rapid sweep of his own Kunai.

Daichi stood on the scared tree branch puffing wildly teeming with adrenalin. In about one minute's time he had expended double the ammunition he normally carried with him. It took nearly an hour to set up so many triggers so this formation was not so useful in operations.

For training purposes Daichi used such contraptions now and then in order to practice his evasion skills with conditions as similar to real combat as possible.

Daichi heard Sensei talk to what seemed to be a messenger. Daichi returned his Kunai to its leather scabbard and soon jumped off the tree to investigate. As he touched the ground Daichi felt a sharp pain in his left leg near the knee.
Daichi took a moment to investigate and noticed that two small needles had penetrated his skin; the adrenalin of the moment had obviously shielded him from the pain until now.

Daichi covered up the wound and smiled trying to hide this embracing case of self-inflicted wounding as he emerged from the forest.

"As you heard, I need to report to the tower..but that doesn't stop you from training however you may take a break, Ill be back." Said Katsumi Sensei she smiled at her three pupils and then departed the forest clearing towards the village.

Daichi waited for a few moments struggling with the mild yet sharp pain of his wound, he was indeed fortunate that needles had hit him as a "puncher" by a Kunai would have been… a complicated affair.

Daichi braced himself and removed the two needles; the needles where no larger than small tooth picks however their removal was still a painful affair. The wound now began to bleed slightly until Daichi covered it with a tightly bound bandage.

He gazed at a number of other wounds he had received over the years… many of them had never healed properly but Daichi could cover these so long as he wore long sleeves. Such scars both small and large where common to Daichi; life threatening wounds surprisingly healed quite rapidly however the others seemed to bleed for a while before they closed up.

Some genetic business was involved in this disorder but nobody so far could give Daichi satisfying answers, such as the reason why serious wounds healed rapidly and others took so much time?

Unsurprisingly the first to speak among the three youths was the most outspoken… and loudest among them; Benkei Hotogeki .
"Well you heard Uzumaki sensei, get back to training" barked the fellow golden haired youth. Benkei was an aggressively competitive individual so it was little wonder that he ranked rather low on the friendly persons chart.

Unlike some Daichi didn't mind Benkei's attitude and ether passively ignored or opposed it when he felt like reminding Benkei he had no authority apart from what he was given by others.

Benkei had been bitter even since the conclusion of the Chunin exams. Daichi like Benkei had failed the exams however Daichi didn't mind the failure as much as Benkei did. Daichi was even somewhat relieved he could remain a Genin for a bit longer… the duties and responsibilities of a Chunin where too much of a bother.

Prishe was the winner of that title and it was this that irked Benkei possibly even more than his failure at the exams.
"Benkei, Sensei also happened to mention that we were free to take a break if we wanted to" said Daichi quietly but clearly enough for him to hear.

"I am personally quite supportive of this arrangement; you can go ahead and bash dummies if you want to, I trust that you will emerge victorious against those vicious terrors."

Prishe Umira

Prishe had been quite mellow only thinking to herself for the most part. It was as if she wasn't even putting an effort into including her team mates or trying to train at the moment but too much was on her mind and some of the pain from two weeks ago had recently kicked in.. Nothing to harsh but it did make her stop. The girl leaned against the tree only to have her eyes examined her surroundings and then team mates. She didn't really mind them except Benkei's persona. It's not bad to be competitive yet, he takes it to another level. She smirked to him knowing he didn't become a chunin like she yet she did wonder what his full potential was. After a quick stretch she suddenly heard an unfamiliar voice speaking to Uzumaki sensei.

“Must be a message...” she said quietly to herself only to suddenly hear her sensei's words to confirm it. Prishe's bright yellow eyes followed her sensei's movement as she went off. It was a little peaceful until Benkei opened his mouth as if he placed himself as leader.

"I am personally quite supportive of this arrangement; you can go ahead and bash dummies if you want to, I trust that you will emerge victorious against those vicious terrors." said Daichi. a more pleasant member of the group.

“Heh – I'm gonna have to agree, we have came a long ways in just a month and I'm sure we all know we won't just drop training for the day and go about doing whatever. I myself am probably going to sit for awhile before practicing a little harder before Uzumaki sensei comes back, which makes me wonder – What do you think she was called away for? You know its been awhile as a team since we've done a good mission together. In a way I think our progression was a bit too quick...”

Megami Sandā

“Yes … yes, I know you're here. Come on in..” Megami said a little loud so she could hear outside of the door. She busied her hands filing some of the papers mainly the document file for the mission. She waited for Katsumi to enter and when she did she immediately tossed the file onto her desk lightly and then placed her finger upon it before speaking.

“Do you know what this is...?” Megami asked obviously knowing she had no idea other then knowing it was a mission. Megami's eyes went to hers with only a 2 second pause before speaking again.

“Of course not.. other then knowing its a mission file.. however this is one of quite importance.” Megami paused with her finger still upon the file. Her purple eyes moved up to Katsumi before asking her a quest that may have seemed off topic yet to her it made perfect sense.

“It must be or feel quite nice being the Jonin of quite a splendid team... How are they? Particularly even more so how is Prishe... her injuries were quite something when she came back two weeks ago... I've been so busy I was only able to see her two days of the week and it brief” She waited for the answer and had she answered she the nodded.

“Listen, me and Konoha have been plotting for months for a union and we've finally come to a proposal of an exchange. Your citizenship, loyalty and honor lies in our beloved village yet you will live there for a time being. Arrangements have been made more information will be given once WE arrive in Konoha... thats right you're also escorting me. I would say you have two weeks or so... however I don't mind going earlier. Do you have any questions upon this?” Megami kept it short and possibly undetailed but she didn't want to give off too much about the mission although Megami wanted the trust between the two villages she also wanted them to spy and telling them they were needed to spy in Konoha's territory wouldn't be the right mindset. Her hands cupped waiting for a reply for the woman.

"I am personally quite supportive of this arrangement; you can go ahead and bash dummies if you want to, I trust that you will emerge victorious against those vicious terrors."

Benkei's right jab came to an abrupt halt just centimeters from the crater formally the chest of the wood dummy; It had been beaten in from it's years of punishment. He turned towards the two of them, poised to argue to the fact but was cut out by Prishe before he could get the chance.

In a way I think our progression was a bit too quick...”

instead of responding immediately he turned with a swift roundhouse kick to the wood dummy's head and sent if flying off into the thick of the trees. " Maybe too quick for you, pipsqueak, but I'm ready. " he said as he turned back to the two of them; his right foot charged with golden lightning, his " thunder ". " It's not our place to wonder, if it's something we need to know she'll tell us when she returns. " he said with finality. "...but you're right, it has been a while so if I had to guess then I would say it's most likely a new mission... "

he paused. Just then a familiar dangerous look began to grow in his eye, one that his long time squadmates would surely recognize. It's the same expression he wears just before doing something stupid and or dangerous in order to show off and what he was about to say next would confirm their fears.

" As a matter of fact it must be a important one. The last mission was the one they sent you on alone and we are the best squad they have. We know it, Uzumaki sensei knows it, and Lady Raikage knows it. Hopefully I'll get my chance to show that I deserve to be a Chunin, without making you look too bad of course pipsqueak "

Daichi gazed at his compatriot's purpose driven eyes and wondered what kind of mischief was brewing in his mind. Benkei's hot headiness was not an altogether negative think; Benkei had an iron will and the courage of a tiger however he also had the temper of the solitary predator.

Benkei's words seemed to Daichi words spoken more to himself then to the team but instead of ignoring him Daichi merely made a curious face and looked up at the tree tops.

Daichi who had since sat down stood up once again despite the continuing aggravation of the wounding. He thoughtfully removed a stringed Kunai from his backpack and aimed its course of flight in the direction of one of the training dummies.

The Kunai released by Daichi promptly struck the target much to Daichi's satisfaction. Daichi pulled on the string and produced a chaotic movement of the dummy which served to increase the difficulty of an otherwise charming but simplistic task.

Daichi grinned wildly as he embarked on his own piece of mischief; he removed from his pack three tins of paint and three brushes which he cautiously placed on a tree stump.

Daichi opened each of the tins revealing the colors Yellow, Purple and Dark Gray in front of him. Daichi snatched one of the brushes and dipped it the yellow color unable to overcome the childish fervor.

Daichi thoughtlessly sprinkled the paint both on himself and the target as he forcibly slashed away with the paint brush. A strip of Yellow paint was now present on the dummies lefthand shoulder.

Daichi turned towards Prishe menacingly as if he intended to paint her next however just as he moved his brush slightly backwards as if for a strike he snatched one of the unused brushes and tossed it at Prishe.

"Think Fast lassie!" shouted Daichi wondering how his superior officer would react to this now intolerable insubordination.

Megami Sandā

"Would that be all Megami-sama..?"

Megami rested her arms upon her desk laying her head in above her hands as she entwined her fingers together and looked straight at Katsumi with her dark purple eyes. She blinked before speaking.

“I expect a answer soon, at least before the day ends. I suggest since you are a team you comfront them before giving the answer... However, I understand If you want to give Prishe a week or two extra to recover but let that answer not be through feelings alone...Dismissed.”

She just grinned a getting slightly annoyed with the comments but sighed it off before replying.

“Hehe – well if you don't just keep the thought in mind that you're still surpassed by someone younger then you and at this point... still … stronger... then YOU!”

She winked at Benkei before doing a teasing pose before looking towards Daichi for a split second only to see what his react was to all of this yet she only saw that he was grabbing items from his pack. Prishe sighed until something came in surprise to her.

“Think Fast lassie!"

To Prishe surprise she nearly thought it would have paint on it but so as soon as she caught with her right hand she spunn around and playfully held it like a Kunai attempting to act as if she was going to paint Benkei's neck.

“Hya!!”

“I expect a answer soon, at least before the day ends. I suggest since you are a team you comfront them before giving the answer... However, I understand If you want to give Prishe a week or two extra to recover but let that answer not be through feelings alone...Dismissed.”

Katsumi remained quiet, and merely bowed, before leaving the room. But as she did, Megami's words still lingered through her head. 'Let the answer not be through feelings alone..' Was it true maybe? Did she use her emotions over her knowledge and logic? She grimanced warily, hopefully that the flaw wont get in her or teams way in the future. "well.." She better get back to the team quickly, it was growing dark.

Surely they would be training. Skillfully, her hands moved into a few hand motions and suddenly she dissapeared in a cloud of smoke. In minutes, she appeared near her team and blinked at the sight. '-or not.' She held back a chuckle, and remembered the seriousness at hand. They had a mission.

But.. She looked at Prishe. Shall the news wait?- No, she mentally shook her head. Prishe was strong and like the Raikage said, she shouldnt decide because of feeling. The team needed to go, and this was a mission that had to do with another village, logically, no one would want to risk it.

Clapping her hands, she looked at her students [who would probably turn their attention], her eyes holding a serious gleam. "I've been called to the tower as you know, and for one reason mainly." She paused. "A mission. Which involves Konoha." The Uzumaki looked for interest and what her students felt by just expression. Katsumi assumed that they all would be excited and looking forward to go.. But she wasnt certain. "The raikage requested for us, because she believes we're strong and capable of the mission. But don't grow too cocky as this mission isnt only going to konoha, its also an escort with the raikage." Katsumi smiled slightly. "However I trust you three we'll be wise during this time at konoha as its an experience and we represent our village.. I assume you guys are ready for this mission?" She asked finally, curious about their thoughts.

“Hehe – well if you don't just keep the thought in mind that you're still surpassed by someone younger then you and at this point... still … stronger... then YOU!”

At that moment he went completely still, the smirk still remained yet his features were completely strained as if he was holding himself back from making any irrational decisions. The audacity of her, calling him out like that when she knew full well how protective master was of her after the state she had been recovered in; There was no telling when their master would return from her summons from Lady Raikage and they would likely be scolded if they were discovered fighting, again. ' although...I could just say it was just a sparring match this time ' He had decided. He knew he would have to learn to back down from a cahllenge one day because it's that reason alone that he's not a chunin as well, but today wasn't that day.

CLAP!. Benkai stopped just as he was about to take fighting stance and turned to see their master had returned, and her hard expression told him it was time to back down, she had saved Prishe a serious beating.

"I've been called to the tower as you know, and for one reason mainly." She paused. That familiar grin had already revisited his expression for he knew what she would say next " A mission. Which involves Konoha " He crossed his arms and nodded, as if it say it's about damn time.

" Of course we're ready! I've been itching for a good mission; I was starting to thinking Lady Raikage was getting too afraid for her pet to send us out of the village. So when do we start, I can start preparing right away! " he was pumped for a new mission. Though he knew it was foolish to hope that the escort goes nothing but smoothly he could not help but almost pray for some opposition, he had some serious steam to blow and was dying to prove himself.

Daichi's moment of cheerfulness ended sooner than he expected as his two comrades once again began to exchange their normal verbal blows. Disappointed Daichi flipped the brush in the air before hurling another swipe of paint towards the target.
Daichi soon grew bored with this distraction and decided that rest was the better part of valor. Daichi located a comfortable looking tree and sat under its shade.

Prishe seemed to be nearly fully recovered as far as Daichi could observe from the speed and elegance of her response to his challenge. It was these little sometimes strange actions which allowed Daichi to see the state of mind and being of his comrades.
At last Katsumi Sensei returned finally putting a stop to the rapidly heating atmosphere of the camp and filling the three youngsters with barley controlled eagerness and curiosity.

Daichi chuckled at the thought of the scene; it seemed to resemble the reaction of puppies to the return of their mother. The serious consideration of the situation also crossed his mind; All three youngsters where only beginning their professional careers and for the time being their training, their future… their very lives where in the hands of this one individual.

Such incredible responsibility sent shudders down Daichi's spine, how could the adults of the village bare it? How could a master train three young shinobi when one or two of them may very well die while at this stage of their training?

Only one month had passed since the three unlikely candidates became a team and yet Daichi already felt more at home in the group then he ever did in the past. Daichi trusted and even adored each and every one of the people on this team to the extent he could not imagine a world without them. If one month was enough to bind him so closely with the team what would a year bring?

Prishe was Intelligent, Rational, and a fantastic fighter. Daichi could see that beyond her sense of independence there was more of an indication of her potential to become a future leader.
Benkei was courageous, unrelenting and possessing of an iron will. Daichi despite his fallouts with this very anti-social individual saw a warrior who could go on until the end even when others have given up.

Compared to them Daichi was nothing and he knew it. Daichi could still stand his ground in a fight of skill but for each leap they made he could only manage a petty half. It was only his age and greater experience which were keeping him on their level but in the long term Daichi knew he could only fall behind and become a liability to his comrades.

After all, what could he offer? His Chakra control was less than satisfactory, his fighting skills where limited to hit and run tactics since his own body could not take punishment like most of the human species.

If Daichi didn't have his responsibility to the village to adhere to he would have given up a long time ago. After all, who was it that saved him from the life of the wanderer? Who gave him hope? Who trained him? And who finally made his lifelong ambition a reality?
The village, the only home Daichi could ever call home.

All his past seems like a lie, a fraud and a hypocrisy yet here in the village these past few years Daichi has found something real in this world. In the past when he grasped the waters of the ocean he could only see the ocean yet he felt nothing; not the coldness of the liquid nor the gentle winds of the west. Now Daichi could feel all those things! It was as if his past was in black and white and then when he came to the village the world filled with color.

Instead of watching his past from above Daichi could now feel what it was to be alive and it was because of this that he was willing to die for his comrades and for the village but more importantly he was willing to lvie for his comrades and for the village.
Daichi stood up and walked towards the group. Sensei had at long last come to tell them good news it seemed.

"I've been called to the tower as you know, and for one reason mainly. "A mission, Which involves Konoha." "The raikage requested for us, because she believes we're strong and capable of the mission. But don't grow too cocky as this mission isnt only going to konoha, its also an escort with the raikage.""However I trust you three we'll be wise during this time at konoha as its an experience and we represent our village.. I assume you guys are ready for this mission?"

Daichi was speechless, A mission to Konoha? An escort to the Raikage and they were getting the job? Daichi didn’t know how she did it, he never heard of a rookie team getting such a classy mission so soon after ending their initial training.
Daichi wondered; could they do it?

Daichi had traveled in the land of fire for a time in his youth but he had never passed near Konoha. That was irrelevant as ether Katsumi Sensei or the Raikage where bound to know the way to Konoha however Daichi hoped he could be useful in navigation so that he may win at least some appreciation on this otherwise probably uneventful mission.

The escort detail was of course nonsense since the Raikage was perfectly capable of protecting herself. In all likelihood all the team would do was provide some sort of honor guard and maybe get to know a few of their fellow rookies in Konoha for the sake of diplomatic relations.

Daichi didn't show his excitement preferring to keep it to himself however he had no objection to stating some eagerness and even impatience.
"Well, I have no objections. When do we leave?" said Daichi intrigued by this strange turn of events.

Prishe began to grin as she saw the easily taunted Benkei boiling up and getting into his fighting stance. Her eyes watched as his feet and hands began to move into the stance. Observing him close as if she were ready and expecting the actions and he easily matched each expectation until their Jonin came back.

"My my, It appears our over confident dimwit was saved from getting beat again and this time by one recovering from injuries..." She said with a taunting action of bringing her eye down and her tongue out until hearing Katsumi clap her hands. The girl's head turned before lowering her gestures and becoming more serious. Her eyes pierced upon the jonin as she began to speak. Her arms folded as her whole body turned. She only saw sensei's eyes beam down to her with wonder but shook it off. Prishe grinned as if she may have known what was on her mind and it only turned to a smirk.

"I've been called to the tower as you know, and for one reason mainly." Katsumi began only to begin forming a familiar smile as if they were going to be explained their next mission and as correct it never failed. The jonin began explaining the mission with seriousness in her tone.

"A mission. Which involves Konoha."

Prishe's eyes widened as did her grin. A mission that involves another country with the genin, this indeed was a rare chance and choice but to Prishe she had a feeling there was a bigger reason for her master to be giving such a mission to the team and herself but didn't mention anything. At the moment she could only wonder what the reason was for them to involve Konoha.

"The raikage requested for us, because she believes we're strong and capable of the mission. But don't grow too cocky as this mission isnt only going to konoha, its also an escort with the raikage." Katsumi then followed her explanation after letting her smile waver slightly. "However I trust you three we'll be wise during this time at konoha as its an experience and we represent our village.. I assume you guys are ready for this mission?" She asked finally, curious about their thoughts.

" Of course we're ready! I've been itching for a good mission; I was starting to thinking Lady Raikage was getting too afraid for her pet to send us out of the village. So when do we start, I can start preparing right away! " Benkei said obviously wanting to taunt Prishe but at the same time did have a good point. She too was rather interested in such a mission but this didn't move her thoughts when this was said.

"Please, I think it's more the fact that she knows I'm ready and someone needs to put the dog down when he messes up" Prishe countered obviously calling Benkei a mutt with a grin. Her attention then moved o Daichi who was the neutral and positive of the two. She always did enjoy his company playful, calm but skillful in his own way too.

"Well, I have no objections. When do we leave?"

"I'm ready, Hey sensei, when you report back to Lady Raikage, be sure to give my word that I'm good to go!"

The Uzumaki watched her students and mused at the widen eyes, and agape mouths. This is pretty new to leave the village for so long- defiantly as a group. Isnt this a treat?

But she wasnt surprised by the responses, she actually smiled. It was expected of her team to give such answers- They were always energetic, and open to get stronger. Their will would always overflow, which is probably one of the many reasons that Megumi picked them. Katsumi couldnt say how proud she was for a team like them. Surely they knew that.

"Well, I have no objections. When do we leave?"
"I'm ready, Hey sensei, when you report back to Lady Raikage, be sure to give my word that I'm good to go!"

She nodded, and turned toward the sky for the moment- calculating the travel time. It would take a few days if they set off by sunset... but with their speed who knew. "Well, Im going to report back, so while I'm gone get ready for the trip, and meetme at the gates." Lifting her hand in a curt wave, Katsumi suddenly disappeared in speed and began to raced along the roof tops.

While she did so, she thought of the mission, and suddenly remembered her grandmother's face. The word Konoha always left her mouth and yet she had no idea why. That made her wonder. "Why." Maybe she will take advantage of the long week ahead of them to answer her curiosity. 'Wouldnt that be interesting.'

Slowing down near the raikage's office, she knocked at the wooden door with the utmost respect. "Raikage-sama, im back to report." When the leader allowed her in, she entered before continuing. "The team has agreed and we will be able to set out by tonight- Oh and Prishe" She resisted a soft chuck.le. "she wants me to personally inform you that she is "ready to go"

[Hopefully that works, sorry for the wait!]
