Personality: Harumi is a very shy and quiet girl. She has her nice traits and her mean ones. Her mean ones are mostly just because of revenge but when she is around new people who actually want to talk to her, she doesn't use her nice traits. She just doesn't say much and acts like a bitch until she actually warms up to that person and becomes closer with them. Harumi acts like a tease to some people as well sometimes. Harumi can also get very emotional and spazzy once in a while when something bad happens. When it gets really bad, she will either get taken over by Hinata (You can tell because her eyes go dark purple) without warning or turn into the tailed beast.

History: Harumi has always been a lonely girl. Not just because she was cursed with being a tailed best but, just because she is a Hyuga. She has seen the paintings of her ancestors and has noticed that she looks exactly like one of them. (Hinata) She asked the wise ones in her clan and they told her that Hinata's body was re-made into Harumi's soul. Which means that if she needs guidance, Hinata's spirit will give her signs and somehow communicate with her. The members of the Hyuga clan noticed that she was becoming just like Hinata. Shy, lonely... And they knew that if her personality became exactly one with Hinatas... Hinata would come back lost, confused... And deadly. So they decided they had to kill Harumi. Even though Harumi was only 6 at the time, they knew what had to be done. But Hinata gave her a sign and Harumi knew what she had to do. The night of her execution Hinata took over Harumi and killed her grandfather since he was the one with the weight of killing his own granddaughter. Harumi them fled from Iwagakure, to Konohagakure. She went into school with thoughts of revenge. She hated what they had tried doing to her and blamed them. The only thought she had about them, was hatred.

Over the years, Harumi has grown into something bigger, stronger. Once in a while, Hinata would help her out. Just as Harumi expected, Hinata's intentions were only to protect Harumi from the dangerous people around her. Hinata never meant to kill her grandfather, it just came naturally out of protection and Harumi knew that. She could feel it. Harumi studied hard in school so she could become stronger, and stronger. She never wanted to be friends with anybody, she never spoke to anybody, she just watched over herself. That's all she had now. Was herself. When she heard the rumors that there was a newborn in the Hyuga clan, she decided to look up on it and return to Iwagakure. Of course, she was never seen but she went to the main Hyuga house and seen her mother. With her father. Holding a baby in her arms. Harumi was amazed by the sight. It had only been two years since the incident and she thought she would've been hunted down. But they had another idea in mind I suppose. Harumi felt so alone, but so grateful at the same time. "Well, at least you get to have a good life." Harumi was then off. On her way back to her new hometown. Harumi has been trying for so many years to keep the fact that she was a tailed beast a secret but knew that at least somebody would always know how much of a savage animal she is. And ever since then, Harumi has always worked alone.

------------------------------------------------------------------------

Tailed Beast: Two-Tailed Cat
Clan: Hyuga

Weapons: Carries kunai, shuriken and Hyuga clan secret ointment under her cape and her main weapon is a thick, long sword on her back with a jewel in it. The swords shape is wavy and is made to hurt. A lot.
Chakra Type: Water & Fire. (Trying to learn them all)
Kekkei Genkai: Byakugan
Description: http://naruto.wikia.com/wiki/Byakugan
Techniques: Ying-Yang Technique: Harumi calls this one the "Ying-Yang Technique". She stands perfectly straight with her feet together and her arms out by her sides. She uses her Byakugan to pick up energy around her and forms water and fire in each of her hands. She moves her hands around quickly in circles in front of her chest and forms a Ying-Yang. Then she holds her hand out right behind the Ying-Yang she formed and seeks out the exact spot to hit her enemy at then blasts the Ying-Yang at them. What it does is, it hits the enemy, separating the Ying-Yang apart and the water, surrounds the enemy, trapping its arms and chest then the fire burns the enemy. It isn't meant to kill, it's meant for torture.
Image
かき消す: She also uses a technique called "かき消す" (Kakikesu) which means drown in Japanese. She kneels down on the ground, circles her finger around her head while the other hand is on the group gathering water from the earth. Basically, the water flows through her body all the way up to her finger, that is twirling around her head in a pattern. It forms a spiral of water around her head and eventually grows into a big, oval, floating puddle above her head. She sucks up all the water, races towards her target and spits out all of the water in her mouth as the enemy while doing a hand motion that signifies, "Water". The water circles all around the target and drowns it until the target can swim it's way out. This technique is meant for killing.

Flaming knives: This technique requires a lot of focus and it causes pain to the person performing the technique. Harumi does Byakugan with her eyes closed and her blood starts boiling inside of her. Of course, this hurts her and burns her skins but only for a short period of time. All of the burn marks turn into flames and she holds her arms up in front of her, facing the target. She second she opens her eyes, the burn marks turn into flames and burst out through her sleeves and directly at the target. While the flames are flying through the air, they form into knives and when it hits the target, it digs into their skin and burns their skin as well. This isn't meant for killing but it can kill someone.

Others: Instead of wearing the same clothing as Hinata, Harumi wears a long black cape that covers her entire body, has no sleeves, and has a hood the goes down to her forhead. She wears a black silk mask covering her nose and mouth revealing only her eyes. Under that, she wears her hidden leaf black forehead protecter around her neck. She has fishnet leggings and hand fishnets the go up to her elbows. She wears dark purple short shorts, black opened toed boots and a light purple shirt that has one sleeve, long sleeved and the other sleeve a strap. The shirt also shows her belly button and the ring on her belly button. Her finger nails and toe nails are also always painted either black, dark purple or light purple. Harumi doesn't take her cape off when she is just walking around though.

Akira and Harumi just got back from helping a fellow ninja with an errand for a village leader. Both half-cousins were fatigued, especially with the number of Samurai they ran into. At least here, in Akira's camp, they could relax and avoid the notice of any other Samurai patrols. Few people end up this far into the forest of the Land of Iron, anyway. Setting the latest katana trophies on the wall with his collection, he next sat down on a log, motioning for Harumi to do the same.

He made sure she was seated before he said anything. "You know, I am impressed. You took down plenty of those Samurai slime along the way. If only more people took the initiative instead of squabbling over village politics."

Harumi followed her half-cousin and was breathing heavily. She plopped down on the log next to Akira and exhaled before speaking. "I've been fighting on my own my whole life, so I'm used to it." She looked over to her half-cousin. "You were pretty impressive yourself." The corner of her lip curled upwards a tad while looking at her half-cousin.

Akira breathed in through his nostrils, then out through his mouth. "Thanks." Pulling out his water bottle, he offered it to Harumi. "Ladies first." It has been quite some time since he was anywhere near civilization, yet he still remembered some rules of etiquette. This was actually giving him memories of when he was given lesson after lesson on how a Main House member of the Hyuga clan was supposed to act. He found it boring, though he learned, anyway.

Maybe he was too silent in his life, since there were plenty of things he found messed up back home, yet said nothing about. Among them, the curse given to Branch house members. It seemed a little... excessive. Then again, it has been engrained into Hyuga society for generations, meaning most everyone was used to it, by now.

Snapping out of it, Akira refocused on the task at hand. "Sorry, I had a little flashback of when I was growing up. Kind of hated a lot of the experience, especially involving the political spectrum of it."

Harumi accepted the water bottle with a small 'thanks'. She chugged half of it, most of it running down her chin and neck, until she realized she was taking up most of the water and immediately stopped. She was holding the water bottle out to Akira when she noticed he was day dreaming about something.

"Sorry, I had a little flashback of when I was growing up. Kind of hated a lot of the experience, especially involving the political spectrum of it."

Harumi chuckled a little bit and rested her chin in her hand. "I can't blame you for hating your childhood. The Hyuga family is kind of vicious. Sometimes I wonder if their rules were always like that." Harumi looked away. "I mean, I wonder if they always tried killing innocent young children for something they didn't even do." Harumi was referring to her own childhood, wondering if Akira knew about her past.

Akira received the bottle and took a sip. "Our family is vicious, isn't it? I even heard news of a particular child who managed to escape after having killed her own grandfather. If you ask me, that attempted execution resembles the Samurai fear tactics too much." With the water bottle now empty, he walked up to the nearby stream to clean up the bottle before filling it up, again, sitting back down on the log. "I thought the news of the event was just a bunch of rumors, until recently."

He did not even make eye contact when he mentioned the word 'recently'. "Look, I don't approve of child executions. What they tried to do to you was wrong. You'll be safe, here. The entire Hyuga Clan knows that I do not tolerate their politics, thus our relatives would not dare place a finger on you with me around. Not only that, but there would be too many Samurai in the forest to deal with for them to have the stamina to pull anything, anyway, half-cousin."

When Akira spoke about that 'particular child', Harumi slumped down a tad and turned her head towards him. She sat up straight and held onto her sleeves tightly. When he said 'recently' she looked at him, making eye contact. She felt embarrassed and was about to tell him to shut up when,

"You'll be safe, here."

Harumi shut herself up and listened to him. She beamed at him, for the first time in a long time. "Thank you, 'half-cousin'." She chuckled to herself and appeared to be in a brighter mood than usual. "I'm sorry for almost drinking all of your water, by the way."

Akira shrugged. "Don't worry about it, Harumi." Somehow, he was in more of a mood to talk than usual. He did not know why. Maybe it was because he actually was around a relative, even if a somewhat distant one, but was there more to it? "I'm actually related to the Main House because of my great grandfather marrying your great grandmother, my grandmother becoming your own grandmother's stepsister. That's how I've kept in touch about your side of the family's happenings, that one connection."

Looking at his katana of choice, he added, "This was my great-grandfather's sword. He slew fifty Samurai in one battle with it so to save your great-grandmother's life, back at Konohagakure. That is how they met, or so I'm told. Anyway, it is part of what inspired me to challenge the Samurai, I guess, since the story was my first clue as to how ruthless and aggressive they are towards ninja and anyone else who resists them."

Harumi listened to Akira as he explained their connection in the Hyuga Clan. All she could really say was, "Really?" She listened closely to his story about how his great-grandfather rescued her great-grandmother and she smiled a bit. Unusual, but she did. "That was very sweet of him." Harumi looked at the sky and sighed. "I wouldn't know anything about the Hyuga Clan. All I really know is that I have a sister. I haven't looked into how the Hyuga's are doing. It isn't really any of my concern." Harumi seemed completely heartless when she spoke those words.

Akira listened to Harumi and looked down at the ground in disappointment. "I see..." Placing the tip of his katana onto the ground, he spun it a few times, not really knowing what to say. This was the first relative he had the chance to talk to in months, and she did not seem to care one bit. He decided instead to walk on over to the training course he had set up, sets of Samurai armor in place for practice. Silently activating Byakugan, he proceeded with great speed, evading the lethal obstacles with the help of Wind Chakra enhancing his movements. Each time he came across an armor set, he would slash at the stick which passed for the head, slicing it so the helmet came off. Within minutes, he completed the course without missing a single armor set that was there.

He then drank from the water bottle and proceeded to fix up a meal for the two of them. The whole time in both scenarios, he did not say a word, only frowning in a subtle sadness. The only time he said anything was when the food was ready, even then, it was just, "Here," as he gave her a plate with her food, his own meal on a different plate.

Harumi watched him get up and proceed to doing his own things, so Harumi jumped onto the nearest tree's branch and pulled out some nail polish, then began putting another layer over her chipped black nail polish. Why does he seem so disappointed all of a sudden? Does he want me to care about the people who tried ridding me of my existance? Harumi frowned at the thought of it. No.. That doesn't sound right. When Harumi was done daydreaming and painting her nails she hopped off of the tree and walked toward him.

"Here."

Harumi gladly took the plate and sighed. "Thanks..." Harumi watched as he ate his own things and she plopped down onto the dirt with her food. Great, now I really made things awkward. I literally made it sound like I didn't care about him or anything. Harumi took a bite of her food, swallowed then cleared her throat. "I do care about some things." Harumi kind of blushed and twiddled her thumbs. "I love my sister... Even though she's never met me before. I still love my mom and dad... But I also kind of hate them at the same time. Harumi realized what she just said. I seriously could've done without that last part... Harumi, you're such an idiot! Harumi mentally punched herself in the face and sweatdropped. Harumi blushed again and got angry at nothing. N-Nevermind..! She proceeded to eat her food with an annoyed look on her face.

Akira listened to Harumi as she tried to explain herself. Her blushing, sweat, and other motions, including the annoyed look on her face after saying her piece, gave him the assurance he needed that she did care. It made him grin a little, which was a rare sight to see, since most of the time, people just saw anger or an emotionless face. When he finished eating, he waited for her to finish before taking both plate and cleaning them.

"Say, you like going fishing? There's a lake to the west of this camp, rather peaceful, considering it is relatively untouched by civilization." Akira put the now-clean plates in the cupboard he had installed due to his self-taught wood crafting skills, which were, in all honesty, impressive. "It's one of the few things I'd do to relax a little, around here."

Harumi stopped blushing when he asked her if she liked fishing. Harumi wasn't exactly a big fan of fishing since she's been doing it pretty much her whole life for food, but she didn't want to say no. "You like fishing?" Harumi crossed her legs and nodded. "I like fishing as well." Harumi showed no resistance to the idea. There is an upside to this. I love water, and to go fishing, we have to be near water... Right? She asked herself. Harumi then peeked over to see what Akira put his dishes in. Did he make that himself? Harumi sighed. Knowing me, I'd just steal something like that instead of actually making it... Damn I'm lazy." Harumi scratched her head and felt somewhat annoyed with herself. "That's a cool cupboard. I'm assuming you made it yourself?"

Akira nodded. "Yep, I did. I learned how to craft with wood whenever I was not busy with learning how to be a 'proper' Main House official, or with ninja training." Picking up two rods, he added, "The lake is right next to this camp. I'll show you."

Making sure Harumi was following him, he led her to the bank of the lake he mentioned. It was just as he said, untouched by civilization, for the most part. No villages could be seen for a mile away. Everything seemed peaceful, here. Akira thought this was a bit of a paradise, aside from the fact the surrounding area is still crawling with Samurai. He gave one of the rods to Harumi while casting the other and sitting down.

"Cool." Harumi smirked slightly at him, showing small signs of being impressed but only small ones, so he wouldn't notice. Harumi followed Akira towards the lake and smiled to herself. It's so quiet... Harumi grabbed onto the fishing rod and sat down beside Akira. She cast out her line and exhaled. After thinking for a couple of seconds, Harumi blurted out, Do you miss living with the Hyuga Clan?

Akira nodded. "But, only because of my brother, Nobuo. He and I were very close, always rough housing, fishing, or something, when we were little. He was always the more social of the two of us. Like me, he hates being involved in the Clan's politics. I hear he is being somebody's bodyguard, now. He never told me the name of the person, though."

"Oh." Harumi sat in an awkward silence for a minute, feeling no pull on her string. She was just enjoying the cool air, and the nice water. Harumi loved water. She loved swimming in it, walking on it, even drinking it made her feel happy sometimes. Harumi sighed and looked at Akira. "Sometimes I wish they didn't try killing me. I bet I would still live with my mother and father, even if they most likely hate me at this point." Harumi smiled a bit. "My mom was the nicest woman you'd ever meet, even though I don't really remember her that well. I dream about how kind and beautiful she was." Harumi exhaled and dropped her smile. "She's probably living a better life without me in the way now though. And I'm glad she gets to be the kind person she is. I probably put her under so much stress.. If only Hinata would've just let them kill me." Harumi sighed and looked into the water.

When Akira looked into Harumi's eyes, there was something he felt inside, but what was it? either way, he listened intently to what she had to say. He knew that Harumi looked like Hinata, but to hear that it was Hinata who enabled her to escape execution? It was no wonder their relatives overreacted, which made Akira infuriated towards the Hyuga Clan that much more. "Then, we would not have met, Harumi." Looking towards the water, he added, "You know, as much as I know it s necessary to deal with all those Samurai, it does get lonely out here." He suddenly felt he may have worded his explanation wrongly, so he quickly added, "Uh... that is to say..." Akira gave up on explaining whatever it was as he blushed. "Oh, never mind." That was embarrassing. Was there more to it?

Then, we would not have met, Harumi.

Harumi's eyes widened at this. He's right.. But why would he care about meeting someone like me? When Akira mentioned being lonely, Harumi's eyes widened even wider and she blushed. When Akira blushed, Harumi added, "Thank you, Akira. I'm glad to have met you. You're really the only person I've bonded with since I left the Hyuga clan." Harumi chuckled to herself. "And it does get lonely, being... Alone." Harumi realized just about how stupid that sounded and gave herself a big ol' facepalm. "Okay, that was stupid. But I mean, I like being with you." Harumi blushed and looked immediately at the water. "Okay, just ignore me." Why am I acting like such an idiot?

Akira glanced Harumi's direction when she spoke up again. Seeing her face palm herself for supposedly sounding stupid made him wonder if she was going through the same confusion he was. In all honesty, it was comforting. This was a new experience, thus it would probably take time for him to sort out how he feels about the whole thing. And yet, there was this hunch, this unseen emotion he could not place a finger on which made him feel, well, less angry at everything, that much was clear. where did it come from?

His hand suddenly felt this urge to move away from the rod. Why? What could be the reason? suddenly, while using only one hand to hold his rod, he felt his hand gradually move toward Harumi's shoulder, the one farthest from him. Next thing he knew, he was gently pulling her closer to him. He felt guilty for that and let go. "S-sorry. That was idiotic of me."

Harumi was just staring at the water until a hand touched her shoulder. She knew it was obviously Akira, but it shocked her she looked over at him and he started pulling her towards him. Harumi could feel her cheeks getting warmer, each time she got closer. She lifted one hand away from her rod and placed the tips of her fingers on Akira's face when he pulled away, so did she a few moments after he stopped. "That was stupid of me too... Akira felt Harumi's finger's on his face, which made him blush a little more. His heart was racing a little, until she pulled away, too. Somehow, he missed that moment of embrace.

"That was stupid of me too... Don't apologize."

The Samurai Slayer smiled a little, then looked back at the water. "You know, if you're still rather tired, you can set up a sleeping bag on one of the bunks in the cabin I made. I usually sleep outside, anyway."

"It's fine." Akira walked with Harumi over to the cabin, where he let go and stood beside the door. "Go ahead and get settled in. I'll be out here in case you need anything." Looking up at the sky, he realized I was getting dark. Their timing could not have been more perfect. Come to think of it, the Samurai Slayer could hardly keep his eyes open, at this point. It was a busy day and he needed some rest, himself. As such, he closed his eyes while leaning against the wall of the cabin outside, sound asleep. His dreams, oddly enough, were not of his fights with the Samurai, this time; they were of Harumi. He did not know why, though it was pleasant that it was of nothing infuriating.
