Eiga thought for a moment, arms crossed loosely under his cloak, about what the best option might be. If the fish had found the kids already, then there was a good chance they were close by, and if they tried to run one of them would notice. From what he knew this fight could get out of hand fairly quickly, so it would probably be best if they weren't dealing with hunger as well as the jinchuriki.

"I say we go eat. Come on, I can smell the ramen now, we're close." he says to Hitoare, taking the lead as they head down the street before them.

He had been right for once today, the ramen shop was close now, and the air was filled with the smells of noodles, broth, and meats. These smells reminded him a little of his old home, Iwagakure, where pork was one of the more common meats to find in ramen. Entering the shop, Eiga actually smiles a little, and gives the man behind the counter a nod, however, right after this is done his eyes lock onto a pair of boys sitting at the counter, both with black air, but one smelled of fresh blood, which caught his attention more than anything. Looking from the one who smelled of blood to the other, he noticed the cats eyes he had and let out a sigh.

"It seems we don't have the time to eat now, friend. We've stumbled upon out pray already..." Eiga says with a sad sigh, shaking his head.

"Greeeeaaaat!" groans Hitoare. "You're so indecisive! I give you two perfectly good options and whadda ya do?" asked Hitoare with a light smile on his face. "You pick both!" he growled.

Hitoare's hands came together then, forming between four seals. The last of which was held, concentrating his chakra as he spoke to Eiga. "Before I do something I'll regret... see if they'll come quietly..." he suggested, looking around the shop. There weren't particularl too many people there, so there wouldn't be alot of casualties. But he expected the two hosts to put up quite a fight. Either way, he was ready.

--

Meanwhile, around the edges of the Village, Twi and La had just finished their tasks and just like that, in a puff of white smoke, the two fish were gone. Beneath the bridge that lead out of the mist, and in a few other key areas, one tag had been stamped, and along the edges of the water, another. Whatever these were for, it was obvious now that Hitoare had no intention of pulling any punches.

It was only when Tezuka responded that Sumio stiffened, turning towards his friend with a stern frown. That voice, he knew, hardly belonged to him and his own mind screamed something muffled—something he couldn’t hear and he was less inclined to listen. His attention was on his friend, whose chakra nearly swirled in his body, and he paused to look around him. Slowly moving his hand from his friend’s shoulders, his throat tightened with renewed anxiety. Had the atmosphere changed? He couldn’t help but shiver, as if there’d been a chilly gust of wind. Sumio’s heart still hammered against his chest, and he stepped away from Tezuka to peer outside. Only vaguely hearing his friend turn down a bowl of ramen, his mouthed worked for a response but he only bit down on the side of his cheek.

Turning back towards the ramen shop, Sumio noticed another man enter to their left, nodding towards the chef. However, this was when Tezuka seemingly glared across the counter, poised like a predator. His eyes were different, and he knew that the beast inside of him was reacting to something. To what? He couldn’t be sure. Heaving a deep breath, Sumio spun on his heel and slipped one of his hands back to his blades pommel, resting it there. “Who are you?” He managed to say, trying to desperately keep his voice from shaking. The deep thrumming in his head sang louder, and he winced, trying to keep his balance. The beast inside of him, he noticed, was reacting to something. Warning him of some impending danger. But with his dark eyes, he only saw two villagers garbed in common clothes and seeking bowls of ramen. “Tezuka…?” He whispered, eyebrows raising. The other man who'd entered began creating seals, which caused Sumio to clutch the hilt of his blade and he paled. Were these members of the group?

The rage of the Monster Cat was seething out of every pore on Tezuka's body. As he called for his friend, there was a dark, almost evil undertone in his voice. "Sumio!! Get ready." He screamed as his friend walked back into the shack. Exploding from his perch, he sent a kick that could level a mountain, directly to the orange one's face, sending the battle out into the street with one strike.

(sorry for the short post, didn't want to dictate the whole fight with one post... that wound be too fair)

(I was trying to wait to post so that the others could have time...but it seems they won't be posting anytime soon...holidays might be to blame...)

The fight was on, and Eiga knew it would get rough as soon as he heard the odd tone in the angry looking boys face. As the other one realized what was going on he began to reach for his weapon, but Eiga only stood there, seemingly still. Under his cloak, however, he was making a chain of hand seals, waiting to see who would attack the Akatsuki pair first, because it seemed very obvious the two they were after couldn't control their biju.

"I don't think they want to cooperate with is," He says, finishing his chain as Tezuka sends a kick their way. Taking a step forward he places himself between Hitoare and the boy and raises his arms in an X across his face and chest, however now they are covered in a thick diamond armor, and just before the impact he can be heard saying, "Diamond Release: Adamant Armor!" A second later, however, and he and Tezuka are flying back outside.

Thanks to his armor, he takes little damage, and as he hits the ground he tucks, rolls, and then leaps up to the side. Once on his feet again he turns so that he is facing the jinchuriki and smiles to himself.

"You have no idea how long I've been looking for a real fight! You might just be that fight kid, if you're really anywhere near as powerful as that kick you delivered!" It was only as he spoke that Eiga got a good look at his opponant and realized that the jinchuriki was actually older than he was. Arms hidden once more inside his cloak his finger wrap around the hilt of two kunai, and in a sudden move he leap backwards, high into the air, and tosses the two diamond-tipped kunai towards the host, his real goal only to get to some place more open so as not to destroy the entire area with his jutsu.

As the small one's kick sailed toward the two opperatives, Hitoare smirked, "I can see that," he replied to Eiga, putting the final seal he been holding to use. "Water style! Great White Geyser!" he yelled. The seals upon the edges of the water that his fish had made began to glow a lambent white, spewing the water from the surrounding mass into the air and toward the fighting group. This brought on a downpour that was getting heavier by the moment, soon enough the area would begin to flood.

As Eiga threw his kunai, Hitoare went into a series of backhand-springs to get closer to his partner and out of his way. Before the first spring, Hitoare kneaded his hands together...

Tatsu...

He then reached his hands out to catch himself, and as he sprang upwards, closing some distance between himself and eiga, his hands came together again...

Uma... Mi....

As he began to fall backwards again, this time, his hands ignored the now watery ground. Instead, his leg strength took over to complete the flip while he continued his sequence...

Hitsuji...

Anyone observing that knew of Hitoare Akushio knew that most of his secret techniques were compossed of four handsigns, and their supprise and puzzlement would surely follow as his series of signs continued!

He stood now, directly beside his partner, finishing his final sequence. But what was he plotting?!

Mi... U ... Ushi

"Try and kick me, eh!?"

As the kunai flew in his direction, Tezuka quickly drew his sword, effectively blocking the incoming blades. Looking to the other he noticed a series of hand signs in rapid succesion, he was using the water to set up a jutsu.

"Who are you calling kid? what are you? 8? i'd shut that cocky trap if i were you, you'll be lucky if i leave you breathing." He was furious at this point, the chakra swirling in his body was now visible as it swirled around his body.

Placing the sword in his mouth he used his opponents water to power his own jutsu, "Multi-Water Tiger Jutsu!!" As his last hand sign was completed twelve huge tigers formed from the saturated ground and sped towards the two assailants. With murder in his eyes he watched as his attack slammed into their position one by one.

As soon as his friend called for him to get ready, Sumio's shimmering blade sang free from its' scabbard, the sinews of tattered strings holding it closed ripped with the effort, and it resonated with a hum. Dragging his sandaled foot behind him, he pulled his elbows in and held his sword above his head; poised and prepared. His face fell serious and he gritted his teeth, jaws clamped with the effort to ignore the continuous thumping. He felt like an enormous heat flushed over him—uncomfortable, and burning, but he couldn't succumb to it at this time. They were in danger and if he just stood there, he was useless. Tezuka had already charged ahead, with all of his beastly anger boiling in his blood, and he tried to ignore the oxes fatherly pleas to open himself up. Too afraid to let himself go, Sumio's frown twisted into a sick grin, baring blazoning white teeth.

Propelling from the ball of his foot, Sumio rushed forward towards the man performing seals, with heightened speed. Being lean and quick made up for his lack of musculature—whereas others would have seen that as weakness, he saw as strength. Most couldn't catch him, most couldn't touch him. He knew this was different and for a moment, he gave into the thumping and hummed with it. And blood exploded in his eyes, temporary blindness screamed for him to stop and clutch his face, but he only smiled. Lifting his blade in front of him, from any viewpoint, it looked like he placed his hand alongside it. In reality, he let his forearm slide against the blade and blood spattered against it, until he muttered: Blood Release: Severing Metal! The crimson blood swirled black, forming a solid blade protruding from his forearm. Jumping into the air, he twirled until he stared downwards at his opponent, Hitoare.

“I'm... I'm your target!” Sumio nearly snarled, a tone that was so unlike his meek nature. The twisted grin struggling to stay on his face, while pain thrummed through his head. Spinning around, he slashed both his blades towards Hitoare's head.

After his tigers had landed Tezuka felt a strange sensation, familiar but unknown at the same time. The Demon knew him too well, he was about to release his most dangerous technique, but the Cat beat him to it. See? this is what i mean when i say a little help every now and then isn't so bad. Tezuka's body convulsed and lurched as the Nibi began to overload the lower part of his brain with her chakra.

As the Nibis chakra spilled in to his spine it spread to every nerve ending in his entire body, this was Tezuka's -wings of the black dragon- and with the Nibi's help he didn't even have to prepare the jutsu, blood vessels in Tezuka's face began popping wildly and blood pooled under his eye sockets, making his face appear bruised. His whole body was trembling at this point, almost vibrating, as he looked back to see his friend was still with him, his rigid face forced a smile under his two now lantern like yellow eyes. "Glad to see you could make it Sumio, how about we end this quickly eh?"

When he turned back to his enemies he realized his water tigers were ineffective, and prepared for the next strike.

"And I was looking forward to a meal...oh well." Eiga says, watching as Sumio charged at Hitoare and Tezuka readies for another attack. Thanks to his armor he had been able to knock the water tigers apart, at the cost of the armor itself, which now lay in small shards all over the street. After a few quick hand seals, pausing halfway through to move out of the way of the fight that would soon be going on between his partner and the one he guessed to be the jinchuriki of the Ox, Eiga says, "Diamond Release: Shimmering Maze!"

The ground begins to shake as the technique begins, and then, suddenly, huge walls of diamond rise up from the ground, forming a maze. The maze fills up the entire length of the street, one wall blocking either side of it, the third and forth walls at the begining and end of the street. Inside the walls that made up the actual maze seemed to be in random paterns, but to Eiga, and prehaps Hitoare as well, who had seen this technique before, the lay out was clearly visable.

"Now the fun begins old friend! Like the host said, let's make this quick!" Eiga says to Hitoare, although now they are seperated by walls, and he finds himself alone for the moment.

(Zero was fighting Kazan because he had gone out of control, but seeing as we have to few people now, I think we can skip that scene and move on to him and the gang going to rescue Sumio and Tezuka)

"That brat called me cocky...... Waste him" Laughed Hitoare at all the madness.

Hitoare growled now, he'd finished his seals but there were so many obsticles. The water tigers rushing toward him seemed to slow him down, as he spun on one heal, kicking each into nothing more than puddles as they came. While lashing out legs at the tigers, he had yet to take notice of the other enemy coming toward him until he heard the name of his technique. "Blood release, eh?" he thought to himself, as the walls of the maze began to spring from the ground. Sumio was falling quickly upon Hitoare as ge finally released his technique. "Water Style! Frozen Leach Chain!"

The water that circled the floor within the maze slowly began to freeze into easily recognizable links. A clear circle around Eiga where none could be found. Anyone else within the maze would find that standing near these chains was slowly depleting their ready level of chakra. Anyone touching them, even more so.

Hitoare ducked downward then, to avoid having his head sliced off and reached behind his back to retrieve his two signature weapons. A pair of demon wind shuriken, which he held closed by their circular handles in either hand. After ducking under the heavy blow, Hitoare noticed something... Sumio's jump had cleared the area Eiga laid out as the maze... he'd jumped directly into something of a dead end.. Hitoare remembered the layout of the maze flawlessly.. this was a large, square area Eiga had always put into his maze in order to make enemies think they were no longer trapped, and that exit was nearby as a gag, more or less to break their spirits.

"Listen kid..." Hitoare stated flatly to the new attacker... "I'm gonna kill you... Eiga's gonna kill your buddy.. that's just how it is. So you can come with us quietly and live a little longer..." he began to spin the two demon wind shuriken, readying himself... "Or you can die right now.. Make a choice"

Hotaru Namake

The Katana Plunged into the Dying Shinobi's Heart, the Ninja spat out blood as the Blade passed easily through his chest and out of the organ keeping him alive. His heart ruptured and exploded inside of his body, blood spurting wildly out of the fresh wound on his chest. Hotaru Wiped her katana clean from the dead Mist-Ninja's blood and returned it to it's sheathe. Her face showing no emotion, almost unreadable, grunted as she lifted the man onto her shoulder and shoved him against the edge of the building, a tower, rising above the whole of the hidden mist. Hotaru smiled cruelly and revealed several thick and long senbon.

Blood splattered as she nailed the man to the top of the tower styled building, and turned away and walked 2 metres now standing on the very edge of the building watching the mist come in to the village from the large water masses(lakes) near the village. Hotaru had being searching for jinchuuriki for a few weeks now and had finally caught onto their trace, taking information slowly from those she captured. Glancing bitterly at the kunoichi she had defeated after a long battle and who had caused her a shoulder injury, laughed as she kicked the corpse of the edge of the tower watching it fall hundreds of feet towards the almost non existing ground below, hidden by the thick mist around the village.

'That should cause some commotion' she thought darkly and then turned to the east, laying her eyes on something that made her blank expression curl into a smile. A Diamond Maze spread out along an area of the hidden mist village, there was only one person she knew who had that unique entrancing technique, and with the amount of water there as well Hotaru knew exactly who was at work, and what they had found.

"So Eiga and Hitoare have found the jinchuuriki i've being tracking" she said giggling and pricked the end of her thumb with one of her senbon and stroked the thumb along the ground releasing her summoning technique.

"Kuchiyose: Grand Firefly". The ground seemed to explode but there was no damage visible as smoke poured out of the summoning technique, as the smoke drifted away, an enourmous fire fly was revealed. Grinning Hotaru Walked up to the beast, lovingly stroked it and then leapt onto its back and breathed in deeply as it soared into the air. Taking off always made Hotaru feel ill, but once they were in the air Hotaru's stomach stopped jumping up and down and finally relaxed allowing her to concentrate on heading over to watch the battle between her fellow Akatsuki and the jinchuuriki take place.

Hotaru whispered into the firefly's ear telling it to make it's glowing abdomen dim so that they would be hidden in the clouds, but able to watch the fight below. It had taken her months to track down and steal this certain kuchiyose from its original clan, but she had finally found the reclusive clan's home and destroyed it and taken their jutsu for her own needs. Hotaru watched eagerly as the group below found themselves in the diamond maze, and she licked her lips, an odd trait of hers, eager to see some bloodshed.

Sumio's teeth clenched painfully together as he fought the growing frustration. Hitoare released his own Water Style technique, and his dark eyes followed the newly forming water maze, which snaked up around them into frozen links. His blades swiped into mid air and he growled his fury, landing quietly on his feet while slashing his swore out wide. He peered around him, taking in his surroundings while trying to ignore the electrifying agony in his mind. Only intuition steeled himself from walking into the dubious links. Failing to stem the screaming in his mind, he clutched his head, half of his hand covering the side of his face as he glowered at Hitoare. He felt like he was getting weaker, his chakra draining from his body. While analysing his opponents new weapons, two deadly looking demon wind shuriken held close to his body, he coughed and hacked, thin lines of blood dribbling from his mouth.

“Shut... shut the hell up!” Sumio screamed, giving into the sharp screeches resonating at his temples. His fingers tingled into numbness and he swung his blades in front of him, clumsy unpredictable actions as he sprinted forward. Madness danced in his eyes, nearly glossed them over unseeingly—as if he were blind, and crazed. It nearly mirrored his friends animalistic rage, but it was something entirely different. In using his techniques, he was destroying his own body and injuring himself, but it was necessary. Wasn't it? However, he noticed that he'd jumped into a dead end and swung his way left and right, blood splattering against the mazes' walls. “Come out, bastard! Coward!” The words sounded alien on his tongue. He felt like someone had him by the throat, squeezing tightly while he looked for an exit. There it was. Wasn't it?

Spinning the samurai blade in one hand, in slow methodical circles, Sumio's dark eyes glistened. He breathed listlessly through his nose, keeping his mouth clamped shut and looked around him. How could he get out? “I—I'll kill you!”

Hitoare wasn't normally one for genjutsu, but he always liked to play with his food. Holding the shuriken in his hands to either side of himself, while making sure to steer clear of the crazed and obviously blinded enemy, he slung the shuriken into one another over and over. "Shadowed Dark Art : Paranoia!" he thought to himself. As the shuriken clanked together, rather than the ring of their metalic sides striking one another being projected from the blades themselves, the noise could be distinctly heard from behind Sumio. Each time he clanged the two blades together, their sound was projected to sound as though someone were approaching Sumio from behind, coming in for the kill. A voice whispering from what seemed like everywhere and nowhere at the same time. "I'm coming for you!" the voice laughed from one direction. "You're going to die!" it whispered from another. Then silence... the voice came back once more, sounding as though someone were leaning over Sumio's shoulder and whispering. "You can't protect them."

The icy chains along the inside of the maze began to grow thicker and more tangled as time went on, a few within this cut off section of maze began to form a large clump in the air. After which, Hitoare's voice resonated out from the clump of chakra leaching chains, as though the chains themselves were a speaking Hitoare, goading on an enemy, "Why fight the inevitable, Kid? If a raindrop falls, you have no choice but to let it. All you can do is slow it down and honestly enough... I'd rather die quickly." Hitoare's manic laughter bellowed from the statue of icy chains. If Sumio didn't snap out of his blind fury, he was sure to be in for alot of trouble.
