Personality: At first glance, Maren is boisterous, hotheaded, and arrogant. He demands recognition and seems hungry for greatness, illustrated in his tendency to call himself "the Mighty Yasutora" and his signature catchphrase, "Who the Hell do you think I am?!" He is an idealist with tremendous determination, sometimes to the point of ignorance; his friends might describe him as "a kid of unlimited stupidity." Maren is also very perverted, declaring that the urge to stare at beautiful women is the definition of a man.
Maren is also extremely determined; he never lets anything keep him down for long. Even discovering that his father was dead only solemned him for a night or two. He is also devoted to defending and supporting his friends and loved ones, fighting with all his strength to protect them. In turn, he is very charismatic in the heat of battle, able to inspire even a timid friend to great feats and almost single-handedly setting the foundations of his team.
Despite his often-insane actions, Maren has a fairly insightful personality. He tells anyone who will listen that his war against the vile is not for personal glory or vengeance, but a desire to give future generations a world in which they can live without worry. His bravado and fearlessness is also little more than a facade to mask his own worries and support others; he will personally admit(albeit under extreme interrogation) that people like his dad are the real heroes. Despite his often moronic moves, he has a level of common sense, often seeing the things that are so simple that most miss them. This suggests Maren has a more complicated personality than he lets people see.

History: Maren was born into the household of the Yasutora family, a family that, until Maren, had no desire to become ninjas. However, Maren always dreamed of becoming someone people would remember for his good deeds, and not the bad. He ended up enrolling in the Academy when a rogue ninja killed his father, who had been trying to help save others from the man. The only reason he survived was when his latent Kekkei Genkai activated, and the ninja found himself trying to slice open a boy made of an almost unreal fire, who ended up roasting the guy and leaving him in the prison hospital with 3rd degree burns. His enrollment came shortly after, and his graduation almost as fast, showing an incredible knack for basic ninjutsu and extreme skill with Taijutsu and Shurikenjutsu, yet barely capable of using anything more powerful than a Flame Bullet, making his chances of becoming a team Genin feel like a pipe dream to him, until only recently.

Taijutsu: Very skilled, not at Lee levels, but compared to his peers, he's usually a cut above, using weapons affected by his chakra to make them move as he sees fit.

Signature Techniques:
Kekkei Genkai: Fighting Spirit- Maren's natural will to keep fighting becomes such a burning passion that it literally ignites him, upping his speed and making all his taijutsu incredibly dangerous to be hit by. This is much like Super Saiyan form, as it A) improves fighting capacity, B) becomes more dangerous in direct proportion to the rage he feels, and C) becomes absolutely destructive if he should ever be pushed over the edge into a Tranquil Fury. Unstoppable Rage, that can be handled with Water Release. Tranquil Fury? That adds Wind Jutsu to everything, making him even faster, and twice as hot(temperature-wise), meaning water actually will GO INTO NUCLEAR FISSION AND MAKE HIM STRONGER. The only reason he isn't harmed by the flames is that his heart burns hotter. The caveat here is that his chakra is very easily spent in this state, becoming more and more draining the less his fighting spirit burns, and he rarely gets past the 'itching for a fight" stage. Here are the times it takes to drain his chakra from full to empty at each level of anger, and the ease of reaching each level marked by *.
Calm: 10 seconds, moves 1.25x as fast, hits 1.25x harder. *
Fired up and itching for a battle: 30 seconds, moves 2x as fast, hits 2x harder. *
Very agitated: 45 seconds, moves 2x as fast, hits 2.25x harder. **
Raging(stoppable): 45 seconds, moves 2.5x as fast, hits 3x harder. ****
Raging(unstoppable): 60 seconds, moves 2.5x as fast, hits 3x harder. *****
Tranquil Fury: 5 minutes, moves 7.5x as fast, and hits with 8x the force. *******************(Someone close needs to die for this to take hold.)
Fire Release: Fire Bullet- This technique simply fires ignited oil at the enemy, and is mainly for distraction, though can be effective on an unaware foe.
Fire Release: Great Fireball- Same as above without the oil, can also be used as a constant stream.
Wind Release: Gale Palm- With a clap of his hands, Maren can create a strong gale capable of knocking a person over, but he instead uses it to launch his weapons at higher rates.
Wind Release: Crescent Wave- This move creates small vacuums around his blades, making them a bit sharper.
