"Nee-san! I want to be a ninja too!"

a character in “Naruto: The New Host”, as played by UVERazn

Description

Image
Name: Yoru Kenzaki
Age: 12
Gender: Male

Birthday: September 7
Height: 151 cm (about 4' 11")
Weight: 42 kg (about 93 lb)
Blood Type: AB +

Village: Kirigakure (the Mist)
Rank: Genin
Classification: N/A

Academy Grad. Age: 12
Chuunin Prom. Age: N/A
Jounin Prom. Age: N/A

Personality: Yoru is a quiet child who like to observe his surroundings and take it slow. Like the rest of the clan, he is analytical and enjoys a good game of anything as long as there's gambling involved. He looks up to Yugao, priding himself in the fact that his cousin is the Mizukage. Though he is quiet and analytical and gives off an aloof aura, he is kind at heart and loves to have fun. He does not like to take risk, unlike Yugao, he believes that you should not bet your life on something especially if it's a game.

History: His parents are the cousins of Yugao's making him her cousin once removed. At the age of 5, when Otoni was still alive, he had enrolled in the academy like his two cousins. Much like Yugao, he had a low chakra supply with great chakra control, however he was much better at taijutsu than Yugao had been. He had been below average in ninjutsu and average in taijutsu. Like Yugao, he excelled in genjutsu.

At the age of 8, the year, Otoni died and when Yoru attended the funeral, he had promised over his cousin's casket to get the next generation of the Kenzaki clan to become a Shinobi with him. His resolve was strong and he wanted the Kenzaki to be a known ninja clan along with being a gambling clan.

His gambling skills were average for the clan, but his perception and technique were above. What holds Yoru back is his fear of taking too big of a risk. This causes him to lose against the others who love the thrill of betting so much that it could kill you. At the age of 9 when he graduated the ninja academy, unlike Yugao, he had stopped gambling and focused solely on becoming a great ninja. He wanted to show Yugao how much he had learned when she had returned from training on the deserted island.

When Yugao had returned, he showed her his progress. He was now above average in both ninjutsu and taijutsu. Yugao decided to teach him how to use the Kenzaki's Kekkei Genkai, Kunton, right before she participated in the tournament for Mizukage. Yoru still has not been able to summon a significant amount of the dark mist, and continues to work on it for another two years. He discovers that he cannot summon the dark mist in a large amount yet, but he can force someone to inhale the mist by covering someone's mouth with his hand.

------------------------------------------------------------------------

Clan: Kenzaki

Weapons/Tools: Simple kunai and shuriken.
Chakra Type: Water and Yin
Kekkei Genkai: Kunton (Haze release)
Description Of Your KG: The users combined water and yin chakra to form a dark mist virtually impossible to see in. The second the victim is completely surrounded by the mist or breathes it in, the mist enters his chakra system. However, only those who have complete mastery in Genjutsu can utilize the mist in the opponent's system to place them under a Genjutsu. The Kenzaki all have great chakra control but a below average supply. Otoni is the exception to this, he has great control and abundance, however he cannot perform any Genjutsu with it.
Signature Techniques:
Kunton: Kurai no Kiri (Haze Release: Dark Mist)
Mizu bunshin no Jutsu (water clone jutsu)
Mizu no Muchi (whip of water)
Kasumi Juusha no Jutsu (Mist Servant Technique)
Kokohi no Jutsu (False Place Technique)
Kori Shinchuu no Jutsu (Sly Mind Affect Technique)

Yoru Kenzaki

Yoru was in the Mist’s training ground 2. The terrain was an open grassy field with a lake dead center of the training ground. The lake took up most of the training ground, it was an ideal place for the ninja to practice their water ninjutsu inside of the actual village.

Yoru was currently working on summoning more than three water clones at once. He was standing at the edge of the dock, and performed the hand seals once again. He had been at the dock since this morning, practicing on chakra control and his footwork on water before working on his water clones. For the past hour he had only managed to summon three at once exactly, the fourth forming after the three had already been summoned. This time, he managed to get all four at once and he breathed out a sigh of relief. He had nearly drained all his chakra practicing the cloning technique.

“Our family’s chakra supply is low compared to others so we have to make it up through intelligence,” he said aloud to himself.

Yoru sat down on the dock, taking his shoes off first and then letting his feet and halfway up his calves soak in the lake water. He watched the sun set as the sky was just beginning to turn from a light blue to an orange. After resting for half an hour he got up, put his shoes back on, and started walking back to the Kenzaki household.

Before going home he decided to stop by the Mist’s proclaimed best seafood diner. The diner was only about a quarter full and Yoru was thankful for the lack of people. He sat down, ordered a platter of shrimp and crab then looked around him. The diner had a homey feel to it, much like the bars that his father would take him to as a young boy.

Yoru’s reminicing was interrupted when he noticed two people, a male and female, playing a game of shogi. The male was dressed in normal villager clothing and the female was dressed like a ninja. Yoru observed the two’s facial expressions, the female looked cocky and the male seemed like he was focused only on the game and nothing else. His food arrived and he thanked the waiter, then continued on watching the two people play.

Yugao Kenzaki

After greeting the rest of the clan, Yugao left to go and see Yoru.

Yugao walked to the diner Yoru was eating at. She had located him through the technique she had and still is developing. If she wanted to know where one of her subordinates were, she would just search for them through the dark mist she had been integrating within the mist that hid the village. During the two years she had been the Mizukage, she spent part of the time slowly mixing the mist with hers and learning to recognize the chakra signatures of her villagers. This would be done through very precise chakra control. She would utilize the chakra imbedded in her mist that the villagers have inhaled to recognize the flow, amount, and type of chakra each one has.

However, currently she could only recognize the chakra of the hermit she trained with, her family members, hunter-nin, and ANBU. During her last year with the hermit, she proposed the technique intending to only use it for her family. He said it was possible, however she would need an insane amount of chakra control. When she returned to the village, she told her clan of the technique, and they all agreed to allowing her to let them breathe in the amount of mist needed so that she can recognize them. After becoming Mizukage, she discreetly had the hunter-nin and ANBU inhale the right amount of mist as well.

She entered the diner and observed her surroundings. In the far corner to the right, there was a couple playing Shogi. She then spotted Yoru sitting at the counter of the diner. Yoru was focused on the two ninja playing a game of Shogi while mindlessly snacking on his crab cakes. She snuck by, and sat down next to Yoru undetected. She then snatched a crab cake from his platter,

“What have you been up to, kid?”

“What have you been up to, kid?”

Yoru jumped slightly in surprise. He recognized the teasing voice. He turned his head to the right of him, away from the two Shogi players and his purple eyes were met with the blank and slightly intimidating expression of the blacked out eyeholes of Yugao’s mask. The next thing he noticed is that she was holding one of his crab cakes. She took off the mask and took a bite of the said cake.

“Yugao-neesa-“ he started with an excited voice but then corrected himself. “I mean Mizukage-sama, it is nice to see you have returned.” His voice was now calm and respectful; he bowed his head to show respect as well.

“Come on now Yoru, I’m visiting you as a family member, you can drop the formalities,” she smiled at him genuinely. She missed her clan, but missed Yoru the most. However, no one ever knew how she felt about her family but the clan itself. Many assumed the relationship between Yugao and her clan was a platonic one and she only trained Yoru as an act of pride. She preferred it to be kept this way and has the ANBU keep the rumor mill running about how she supposedly feels about her clan. She cast a simple genjutsu on the diner’s patrons (excluding Yoru of course) when she walked in so that she would be viewed as speaking apathetically to Yoru and not affectionately.

Yoru looked up at his second cousin and saw her smiling at him. His expression was that of a little brother looking up to their older sibling in awe and wonder. Yugao was his idol. As an only child, she had been the elder sister figure in his life, and he in turn filled the void in Yugao’s heart when her brother had died. He spoke with excitement,

“Neesan, will you be staying in the village long? I want to show you what I can do with my Kunton!”

Yugao chuckled. The eagerness in his voice was unlike the flat voice she had whenever wanting to show Otoni her progress in learning how to wield Nuibari. Around others, Yoru acted like Yugao as a child: quiet and aloof. However, around her, he had trouble bottling up the excitement he felt whenever she actually had time to spend with him. She looked at him solemnly,

“I will have to go to the Kage gathering sometime soon which is being held in Konoha this year,” the grin on his face faltered in disappointment. She ate the remaining bit of the crab cake, “But I’ll have time this week to see your progress, maybe even train you a little.” His eyes lit back up,

“Really? That’d be great Neesan, can you train me to use genjutsu with the Kunton?”

She smiled to herself and reached over mess up Yoru’s black hair playfully,

“Let’s make it a family tradition to develop your own genjutsu. I will help you, but not until I decide that you’re ready. Alright, kid?”

His face scrunched up and he batted Yugao’s hand away. He opened his mouth ready to say something but then the sound of a loud crash and a screech interrupted him,

“How could you have possibly won!?”

The Kenzaki duo looked over to the two playing shogi. The kunoichi had been the one to make the sudden outburst. Yoru analyzed the board, the villager had lured the kunoichi into believing she had the upperhand by sacrificing pieces, however he had been the one in control of the board. Yoru looked over to Yugao and noticed she was smirking to herself. She then got up and gestured with her head for him to get up as well. He followed her as she walked outside.

When they walked out the door, an ANBU was there waiting for Yugao.

“Mizukage-sama. The elders want to see you now.”

Koga

Koga wiped his forehead free of sweat as he dipped a newly made katana into water. A hiss was produced when the hot metal entered the liquid, and he slowly took it out to examine his work. He observed it cautiously, until a large broad hand was randomly patting his green hair.

"Good job Otouto!" A loud voice praised.

Koga looked over his shoulder and grins. "Learned from the best!" He replied, while placing the katana on a shelf to display. "heh..." The man rubbed his nose sheepishly. Seeing that his brother got the wrong idea, Koga continued with his previous statement. "Not you Onee-san, i mean To-sa- ow!" A goose egg formed on his head, after a hard punch from his brother.
"Onee-san!!" Koga shouts rubbing the egg delicatly.

"Stupid brat, your shift is over take a break..." His brother mumbles embarrassed, causing Koga to grin. He nods and waved before running out of the shop.

'What is there to do...' He wonders stuffing his hands in his camo pants. People were crowding the misty roads but because of his well adapted eyes, he got past easily. 'Maybe the training groun-no what am i thinking...' Images of blood flashed through his mind, but he shook his head rapidly.
Koga sighs, and continues to weave himself through the crowd, only to bump into someone hard. His eyes widen and he fell onto his arms which supported his fall. His hands hit the cold and wet ground roughly causing him to wince, though he quickly got up to help the other victim. He swore under his breath at his clumsiness, hoping he or she was okay . "Are you alright!"

Izumi Hikaru

It only took the Kazekage and her escort a few hours to finally to arrive at the Leaf village. It must have been quite the sight for the Konoha guards when they suddenly saw a small group of people running at high speed towards the Konoha gates. But once that the group was near the gates the guards probably saw who the running people were. The Kazekage had arrived.

Before Izumi and her escorts entered the Leaf village, they first were stopped by one of the guards and they had to fill in their names on a small paper and identify themselves. This wasn’t a strange thing to do in a village like Konoha. In fact the Sand village also keeps track of who leaves and enters their village. The main reason to do this was obviously to keep a record for who entered and left the village and it was also often used when the local guards had to deal with a crime.

Everything went smoothly and after only a small delay Izumi was able to enter the village. The leaf village had always seemed a peaceful village to Izumi. The happy people just walking around talking with each other in this green nature. Yes it was defiantly a peaceful place when there was no war.

"Kazekage sama it seems like we arrived before schedule and have because of this a little more time left before the meeting will commence." One of the escorts said while they entered the village together with Izumi. "Good... Then I will take some time to enjoy this peaceful village once again... So you can dismiss for now." Izumi responded. "Very well Kazekage sama." The person said and a moment later every Sand ninja around Izumi disappeared leaving the Kazekage alone for the time being.

Hanako Manami

"Hanako, wake up honey." The gentle and nice voice of Hanako's mom echoed through Hanako's head. "If you don't get up now you will be late for your daily training with your brother." Hanako's mom said and a moment later Hanako opened her eyes. "Is it that late already?" Hanako asked her mom but before her mom could answer she already jumped out of bed and prepared herself for the day. Of course her mom left while she did so leaving Hanako alone. But right after Hanako was done with preparing herself she rushed downstairs, took something to eat and ran outside. There one of her brothers was waiting for her.

The brother that was waiting for Hanako was one of the people you could call a genius in the clan. Even though he was only 13 years old he already possesses a lot of skill and Jutsus which he can use in battle. This brother of Hanako was also one of the brothers Hanako trains a lot with and while Hanako only just left the house, he suddenly started to take some kunais with exploding notes attached to them out of his pocket.

"Think fast!" Hanako's brother shouted and a moment a bunch of kunais with exploding notes flew in the direction of Hanako. Before being able to think of anything else, Hanako started to form hand seals.
"Mizurappa!" (Violent Water Wave) She shouted and used this Jutsu to counter the kunais and she was able to do so just in time. If it was a moment later, then she would have been hit and the house would probably caught fire due to the explosion of the exploding notes.

"Brother why did you do that!?" Hanako asked a little upset.

"Nothing special. I was just testing you." her brother responded.

"Well don't do it again or something might go wrong." Hanako said.

"Well ok for this time then." Her brother said and after saying that he ran somewhere of to... And so did Hanako. She had to do some shopping first after all.

A few minutes passed before Hanako reached the shopping district in the city. When she arrived however she saw 2 boys, about the same age as her, helping each other get back up. "They must have bumped into each other." Hanako thought as she took a few steps closer to get a better look at the 2 guys and then realized that those 2 people were no one else then her teammates. "Hey you two, are you both alright?" Hanako asked them when she was only a few steps away from the 2 guys.

Yoru Kenzaki

Yoru gazed at the spot Yugao was last standing before she body flickered away with the ANBU. He felt slightly disappointed; he hardly ever got to spend time with his cousin anymore. Whenever he saw her, it would be only briefly, usually when his team would get a mission and she was briefing them on it. Yoru was eager to finally be able to train with Yugao again and show her what he has learned over the past few months that he has been a genin.

He worked on trying to summon regular mist since the technique was taught to the students at the academy. Summoning mist was a staple and a basic technique that all ninja of the mist knew how to perform. Yoru felt pride in his chest when Yugao told him that their Kekkei Genkai was mist based. He felt even more pride when his teachers praised his chakra control, telling him that he nearly matched Yugao’s talent in chakra control when she first started out.

Without warning, someone suddenly crashed into Yoru, knocking him down to the ground. Yoru felt irritated. Whoever crashed into him was going to pay hell.

"Are you alright!"

Yoru’s irritation subsided at the sound of the familiar voice. It was his own teammate who crashed into him. Yoru would still get his revenge sooner or later though.

"Hey you two, are you both alright?" The voice belonged to Koga and Yoru’s third teammate, Hanako.

Yoru planted his hands on the ground, using the leverage to get himself back up. Once up, he brushed off the dirt that got on his clothes when he fell. He did not pay attention to Hanako or Koga and looked past the two of them, his face showing no emotion.

‘Water bombs? Nah, we’re Mist ninja getting wet isn’t something we mind. Ruining his weapons? Nah, too cruel,’ Yoru thought to himself as he thought of viable ways to get revenge. Deciding he would plot his revenge later, he acknowledged his teammates. He greeted Hanako first,
“Yo Hana, I’m fine, it takes more than full blown impact from this guy over here,” he nodded his head in Koga’s direction, “to bring me down.” He greeted Koga next.

“Hey Koga, watch out why don’t you? You’re pretty clumsy for a ninja,” he said, playfully smirking at his teammate.

Koga

Koga felt guilt hit the bottom of his stomach until he heard a familiar voice.

"Are you alright!"

"ah yea...hey Hanako-san..." He greets with a small smile, before flinching slightly at the feeling of Yoru's stare.

“Hey Koga, watch out why don’t you? You’re pretty clumsy for a ninja,”

Koga glanced at his playful smirk, before giving off a sheepish grin. "Heh sorry, haven't been focusing lately." He said as he rubs the back of his neck, but froze when a bloody image ran through her mind. Koga's green eyes were wide but he quickly resumed composer. 'Focus!' He urged himself, forcing the thought out of his head. He peers away casually. "Well, knowing you Yoru, revenge will be coming my way, so i guess ill have to watch my back ne?" He jokes, laughing nervously before looking back at the two. 'And my weapons' He quietly adds on with a small chuckle.

"Anyways." Koga forcefully coughs trying to change subject. "Where were you guys heading, training grounds maybe..?"

Pausing at his response, he began to run his hand through his green hair. 'Please be something interesting...' He begged though it didnt show on his face of course, he held a curious facade. He has been in the weaponry shop for what, maybe 2 days without leaving. He paused, maybe he was exaggerating but all he did was make swords or get the hot fire to continue. So at least, in his spare time, he can enjoy the cool air of the mist and do something interesting. As he thought, he stretched, side stepping instinctively for villagers to pass by.

Hanako Manami

“Yo Hana, I’m fine, it takes more than full blown impact from this guy over here, to bring me down.” Yoru, one of Hanako's teammates, said to her to greet her after he got up from that earlier fall.

"ah yea...hey Hanako-san..." Not much later koga said to greet Hanako. He smiled while doing so but the smile quickly faded away as he looked back to Yoru.

“Hey Koga, watch out why don’t you? You’re pretty clumsy for a ninja,” Yoru said playfully and he smiled into Koga's direction. It was oblivious that Yoru was planning something. And what he was planning, was something that soon would become clear to Hanako.

"Heh sorry, haven't been focusing lately." Koga said but not much later he froze and seemed to remember something...

"Well, knowing you Yoru, revenge will be coming my way, so I guess I’ll have to watch my back ne?" This was what Koga said jokingly a moment later while he laughed nervously. But Hanako already knew that this wasn't really a joke. Knowing Yoru, he would indeed plot his revenge for this sooner or later. This was also probably what Yoru was thinking about earlier. Sometimes Hanako thought that those 2 had a rather strange bond with each other. But even thought those 2 had a strange bond with each other, it was -most of the times- quite funny in Hanako's eyes.

"Anyways. Where were you guys heading, training grounds maybe..?" Koga said probably to change the subject. Which was a smart idea as he probably didn't want Yoru to get any ideas or plot his revenge sooner.

Hanako didn't really say much in this conversation between them. They just played a little with each other here and there was no reason to interrupt that. About the training grounds, Hanako didn't really know what to answer. She had just finished her shopping list and would love to go and train at the training grounds but she still had to bring everything home. If she didn't they would probably complain at home. "I am sorry but I still have to deliver everything at home." Hanako said as she showed her shopping bag to Yoru and Koga. "I will be there as soon as possible however." Hanako quickly added to what she said before. "But you don't have to wait on me... So I'll see you later." Hanako said before she turned around and started to walk in the direction of where her house was.

Izumi Hikaru

It had only been moments before she had reached the Leaf village and had made her way inside. To be honest, Izumi didn't like the meeting to be here. If things would end up bad, then she would be in the middle of enemy terrain and even though Izumi was strong, so were all the other Kage's and Izumi wasn't foolish enough to believe that she could match them all. Izumi had also developed a small hate in her past for the other villages. Still she knew that her job was more important than her own feelings. Besides the hate she had for the other villages wasn't big enough for her to act reckless around them. Izumi just hoped that this time, the meeting would end well and that Izumi didn't have to use the army she had built up in the sand village, this soon in her life.

A few minutes passed before Izumi had reached the Hokage mansion. It seemed like she was the first to arrive there as she saw no Jounins from other villages wandering around the Kage mansion yet. She did however spot a Cloud Jounin on her way here which meant that the Raikage must also have arrived in the Leaf village. Suddenly Izumi remembered that the host of the nine tails was in this village. This surely made her worry as she never before met the host of this monster called the nine tails. What if this person was actually a grown up adult? What if she was able to control the nine tails? What if the Leaf village would use her as a secret weapon or maybe try to kill everyone in the meeting? Those thought flashed though Izumi's head but they quickly faded away as she realized that these were only stupid thoughts. Even though they may have the nine tails, against all the Kage's they wouldn't have a chance. Maybe Izumi had to relax a little and just go inside of the building. If something would happen, then so be it. If not, so the better.

"No one come inside with me." Izumi ordered the Jounins of her village before she entered the Hokage mansion. "Let me go alone as a token of my trust in them." Izumi thought as she made her way inside.

Yoru Kenzaki

"Well, knowing you Yoru, revenge will be coming my way, so I guess I’ll have to watch my back ne?”

Yoru’s smirk disappeared and he gave Koga an emotionless face.

“Oh I’ll get my revenge alright. So you better keep an eye on your kunai, shuriken, swords, even yourself. Because I guarantee you that I will have my comeuppance,” his voice was sinister and a sudden cold breeze blew through the village.

"Anyways." Koga forcefully coughed trying to change subject. "Where were you guys heading, training grounds maybe..?"

Yoru maintained his emotionless expression.

“I just came back from training ground 2, but I suppose I could go for another round of training,” he said with a flat voice. What he had in store for Koga was something he learned from Yugao. Then he looked over to Hanako to hear her response,

"I am sorry but I still have to deliver everything at home." Hanako said as she showed her shopping bag to Yoru and Koga. "I will be there as soon as possible however."

Yoru merely nodded.

Hanako quickly added to what she said before. "But you don't have to wait on me... So I'll see you later."

Yoru broke his emotionless face and grinned at her, “Alright, I’ll see you there Hana.”

When Hanako walked off to her house and was out of sight, Yoru turned back to Koga.

“Watch your back Koga. And your font. And your sides. And your face,” Yoru’s sinister voice and emotionless expression returned. After his warning however, he grinned at Koga seemingly genuinely and walked past him, coming in close as if to shoulder check him.

But before he could reach Koga’s shoulder, an ANBU had tapped him on the shoulder.

“Yoru Kenzaki, Lady Yugao has requested that you be her escort for the Kage Gathering. You along with Nagi Kasame will be accompanying her and serving as her body guards on the way there, the time spent there, and on the way back.”

Yoru blinked and turned to Koga, “while I’m gone you should still watch your back. Walls, windows, the mist itself that surrounds this village are my friends.” With that, the ANBU nodded and body flickered away; Yoru followed in suit.

Koga

Koga listened to the threats coming from Yoru, though, he wasn't scared at all, he seen worse, and heard worst. But he shuddered for Yoru's amusement. "Eh... thanks for the advice." Koga responds adding a pinch of fear into his tone, but he stops at the sound of Hanako's voice.

"I am sorry but I still have to deliver everything at home." Hanako said as she showed her shopping bag to Yoru and Koga. "I will be there as soon as possible however."

"Oh alright." He nods in unison with Yoru.

Hanako quickly added to what she said before. "But you don't have to wait on me... So I'll see you later."

Koga grins and waved at her. "Stay safe Hanako, later." As soon as she was gone from their sight, the emotionless voice of Yoru entered his ears.

“Watch your back Koga. And your font. And your sides. And your face,” Yoru’s sinister voice and emotionless expression returned. After his warning however, he grinned at Koga seemingly genuinely and walked past him, coming in close as if to shoulder check him.

He focused his vision towards Yoru, watching his every mood, wondering on his sudden emotion change. But he shrugs, he does that a lot as well. "Well I got my faced covered you can count on that." He grins playfully back at him, though it disappeared when an anbu suddenly appeared looking for Yoru.

"Yes sir!" He salutes playfully with his wide grin plastered to his face. He admired Yoru for his status and power, but he knew he shouldn't be jealous. That would be a foolish thing to do especially because he didnt know what was happening in yoru's life. As Yoru leaves, he gave a small wave before standing in the middle of a crowd alone.
Koga suddenly realized something. 'I have nothing to do...' He sighs and fingered his dog tag. 'well i guess i get something to eat..' He walks into a food stall nearby and began to order some food, his excited looks gone.

Nagi Kaseme

30 minutes earlier

Nagi stood about ten feet parallel to another Hidden mist shinobi roughly his age and probably the same rank with a pained look of frustration growing on his features, only an hour ago Nagi's usual sharp tongue and quick temper got him into a heated debate with a fellow shinobi who had been apart of his cell as Genin but for obvious reasons they were disbanded a re-assigned. The boy made the mistake of bringing up his many failures in both the academy graduation exams and the Chunin exams and things quickly escalated, a fist was thrown and one was returned and the hot blooded young men began to brawl, that brawl quickly escalated into an outright battle that none were eager to stop. For quite some time there were debates on which of the two of them were the strongest, one could say they were rivals but that rivalry lead them to becoming practically enemies as time passed and they grew older. Now they both stood on the surface of a lake cut up, bruised up and staring at each other as if they could win the fight with just looks alone.

" Give it up Nagi, we both know who's gunna win this..just give up now and save yourself the embarrassment " Said the young man as he widened his stance and prepared himself to charge in for what he thought would be the finishing blow.

Nagi wiped away blood that dribbled from his cut bottom lip and just laughed in the face of his sage advice " That's my line you punk, because I'm the one who's gunna take you down today! " He shouted as he began to weave hand sighs at a moderate pace, he was capable of going faster though not as fast as elite Jonin, but in this case the hand signs were deliberately slowed down.

Seeing this the other young man retrieved a kunai from the pouch attached to his upper right leg and charged Nagi full speed with an aware smirk on his face " Your not gunna get me with that same lame trick! " Earlier in the fight Nagi wove seals in the same moderate fashion to deceive the young man into thinking he was preparing to use a ninjutsu when he was charged at in an identical manner, it caused the boy to stop his charge just as he reached Nagi to weave signs of his own in hopes of defending himself from a jutsu he was much to close to dodge, but Nagi was faster and stopped his false hand signs to get in a sucker punch that resulted in the boy's current swollen left eye. Though to the boy's surprise this time the water began to shift under Nagi's feet and within seconds the head of a water dragon rose out and dove back into the water, the boy's eyes widened when he realized what was happening " Nagi you wouldn't..you couldn't! " he said, his voice shook with fear, he had no idea nagi was able to wield a jutsu of that caliber and he wasn't confident he could defend himself from it. Just as the water dragon prepared to rise once more a stern voice called out " Nagi! Stop this at once " and an Anbu appeared seemingly out of nowhere between the two of them, Nagi lowered his hands thus releasing the jutsu and the water came to it's original stillness.

" You, get out of here now " The Anbu commanded the young man and obediantly he ran off with his tails between his leg, the Anbu the n turned to Nagi who wore a defiant frown on his face " Don't give me that look, Lady Mizukagi requests your presence " and with that he vanished in a puff of smoke just as quickly as he came and Nagi followed, he was hot blooded but he wasn't fool enough to ignore her summons, there wasn't a more fearsome attitude in the ninja world than the Mizukage's.

Present

Nagi arrived at the door leading into the mizukagi's office with the Anbu who retrieved him and as if on cue two others appeared in front of the door seemingly from thin air just as the first, he hated these guys. " Lady Mizukage has summoned you to be her escort to the Kage gathering in the Hidden Leaf, you will accept and you will be honored to do so you little brat " Nagi's mouth opened to object but was cut off immediately as the second Anbu spoke up instead " don't even think of giving us your usual excuses, we know your alot stronger than you'd like us all to think wich is why you and one other were chosen for this " as soon as he finished speaking they pushed open the doors and the third Anbu that escorted him gave him a gentle push inside. As he recaptured his balance he glared back in their direction and that's when he noticed another young man who he didn't recognize was escorted in behind him . Nagi turned back towards the mizukage who was sitting patiently waiting for them and he tried his best to hide the growing anger on his face and gave a respectful bow " Nagi kaseme, here to escort you as requested Lady Mizukaga "

Yugao Kenzaki&Yoru Kenzaki

Yugao looked over Nagi with her meticulous eye. It was painfully obvious that he had been out roughhousing and fighting. His facial expression was that of restrained anger and Yugao knew she would have to soothe the kid to get him to calm down. She saw Yoru walk in as well following Nagi.

"Nagi Kaseme, here to escort you as requested Lady Mizukage"

Yugao spoke in an even tone, “Welcome Nagi, I thank you for accepting my request. Though I doubt the ANBU gave you a choice eh?”

Yoru looked at Nagi with a fascinated expression. He too noticed that Nagi looked as if he had just finished an A rank mission of some sort. Yoru had heard of him before stood next to him and bowed as well, “Yoru Kenzaki, I’m here to escort you as well Lady Mizukage!”

Yugao smiled behind her mask. The two were so formal. She took off her mask and showed off her amused smile to the two boys. Her voice took a serious tone,

“Kasame, Kenzaki. I expect you to be on your best behavior when there. The Mist has always been so distant with the other village and Konoha is the only one we really have made any progress with in maintaining the alliance. The rest of the villages… Well let’s just say they’re not fond of me gathering information from them so easily.”

She paused for a moment to observe their faces.

Yoru kept his face emotionless and serious. He stared straight into his cousin’s eyes without wavering. He knew how much the Mist village meant to her even though she seemed like she didn’t care at times. Not wanting to disappoint her, he promised himself that he would protect her to the best of his abilities. He was quite puzzled at why she wanted to bring a genin to escort her, but he would question her later. Now he only voiced his vow with a serious tone matching hers,

“I will ensure my behavior is at its best and escort you to the Land of Fire’s village hidden in the leaves without any problems.”

Yugao nodded then looked to Nagi to observe his expression and reaction.

Nagi Keseme

“Kaseme, Kenzaki. I expect you to be on your best behavior when there. The Mist has always been so distant with the other village and Konoha is the only one we really have made any progress with in maintaining the alliance. The rest of the villages… Well let’s just say they’re not fond of me gathering information from them so easily.”

Nagi rose from his bowing position with a devious smirk played across his face, up to no good as usual " Well my best behavior isn't exactly ideal either Lady Mizukage, but I think I can manage to behave myself just this once, and if thinks start to heat up with the other Kages and their shinobi escorts..." He swifly unsheathed on of his hooked blades and twirled it masterfully between his fingers before tightening his grip around it's handle " then you can count on me to put them in their place and show them what our ninja are made of.

Although it was essentially only an escort mission he knew full well just how tense things can get when Kages from rival nations are all in one place, prides will clash with words that hide forked tonged intentions and threats, and if things went right by going horribly wrong he would get his chance to test himself against strong shinobi from other villages. Nagis eyes drifted momentarily to the kid next to him and he wondered what use could the kid possibly be on a potentially high risk mission such as this, he certainly didn't look like much, then again he knew it was wise to never judge a book by it's cover

' ..still, this kid couldn't be no more than thirteen, must be something special ' he thought to himself as attention returned to Lady Mizukage as he returned his blade to it's home at his side, he was eager to put them to good use for once in a long time.

Hiorama Itosan

Hiorama quietly took in the girl's story, he was expected something traumatic but he would be lying if he said he wasn't surprised to find that a tailed beast be the cause of this, even more surprising was how a tailed beast was running rampant so frequently and their be no reports of it coming from other villages. It made no sense that they would try and keep something so vital on hush hush, they practically took a ticking time bomb and sent it off to Konoha as if to say ' It's your problem now, not ours ' Had she arrived at Konoha on schedule she could have very well caused a lot of chaos that they did not need, not only that but because of their decision to send her off they have become responsible for the destruction of another village, it was something that couldn't be ignored he decided right then and there he would be addressing this at the Kage meeting. He couldn't worry about that too much however, for at the moment he now had to decide what's t be done with the girl.

in recent times it seems that villages, even the Hidden Leaf, have become less responsible with their tailed beat and Jinchuriki. Probably due to leaders becoming complacent, after the last Great ninja war thanks to the ninja world's hero Naruto Uzumaki the tailed beast themselves were left in states of peace much like the the great nations, but it seems just as time has eroded their fragile peace so has it allowed the tailed beast to revert back to their naturally violent natures which some villages apparently were not prepared for. In light of this he knew he would also have to check up on the current Jinchuriki residing in Konoha...with strokes of misfortune it seemed that mere children were the only ones suitable enough to host the massive chakras of the tailed beast, precautions would have to be put in place to avoid disaster, they were fortunate enough to not have anything happen all this time like they have with the seven tails. Hiorama who was deep in thought looked up into the eyes of the girl desperately waiting for a reply, he realized that he again let his mind wonder off into things of the future without addressing the issue at hand.

" Well little one...to be honest as things are it would be ideal to have you sent to another village more..prepared to receive you, though it would be irresponsible of me to burden another village with such a volatile jinchuriki that is only self trained in maintaining a crucial balance. " He stood up and turned from her to stare out the window into the horizon of the Hidden Leaf "Yes... I suppose the best course of action would be to allow you to remain here until you can be taught to better control the tailed beast, or until we've located someone more suitable for the task in another village " he said, almost as if he was muttering to himself, in a serious tone. He then turned to her with a welcoming smile on his face

" For now, you are welcome to remain in the Hidden Leaf, but be sure to remember this is only temporary for we cannot allow you to remain here permanently for there is a delicate balance in power we must maintain between nations. Also, be sure to let no one else know what you have inside of you, it would put our village in a bad spot if others were to discover we housed two jinchuriki " in reality 3, but that was not for her to know.

Yugao Kenzaki

Yugao stepped passed the village gate and cracked her neck in anticipation. They had finally arrived at Konoha, they being Nagi Kaseme, Yoru Kenzaki, and her, Yugao Kenzaki. The Kage meeting was to start sometime this week after everyone has arrived and taken a day to rest. Taking her mask off, she let out a tired sigh,

"Here again and it hasn't even been a week. The village elders' decisions never made any sense to me."

She looked back at her two subordinates. Studying their facial expressions, she concluded that they were as tired as she was. They had traveled nearly non-stop in order to make it on time. Thankfully, the trip went smoothly and they didn't have to make any necessary stops.

"Mizukage-sama," one of the village guards had addressed her and bowed, "you will be staying at an inn tonight correct? Will you like an escort to lead you there?"

Yugao really didn't need one as she would just stay at the inn she normally stays at, but she decided to humor the man,

"That would be very much appreciated. Do you know when the actual meeting will start?"

He shook his head, "No I do not unfortunately, however, Hokage-sama will send an escort for you when the time comes." The man then looked past her and at Nagi and Yoru,

"I trust that these two young men are your body-guards?"

He had a skeptical look in his eye. Yugao chuckled to herself, amused that the man assumed that she was taking the village too lightly and said nothing about it other than a simple, "Yes. They look young but I assure you they're stronger than they appear."

Just then, the escort appeared and bowed. Yugao nodded at him and he turned around and started walking. She placed her mask back on and motioned with her hand for Nagi and Yoru to follow.
