Personality: Kintaro is a quiet man who says very little, even to his own subordinates. He is very calm, rarely irritated or annoyed by his villagers, and even when his mood changes Kin still maintains his composure. Though he is usually seen to be rather lazy and immature, as he lounges around his paper work groaning every couple of seconds. "I hate work.." But even so, he still is a hard worker at times, for he is a hokage and he cares for his people. [Though it doesnt really show..] Any who, Kintaro also is said to have a temperament, and can be rather sleazy with people, especially some women. Kin defends that he is a trust worthy man, and will not offend women, and its true, because he is an honorable man. "Hell has no fury, like a women scorn." Smiles however are rarely seen on him, anything but happy is seen on him. He is seen irritated, annoyed, angry, and just plain neutral, but never happy. Maybe a smirk as a tease sometimes, but no one seen him smile or grin like the old hokage's have....Well maybe "no one" is a bit exaggerated, but you get the point dont you? If not, I can see why, your probably a stranger, and people who barely know Kintaro usually fear him as a scary and dictator type of man. Which isnt to be blamed for, even Kin understands. Out of the village, he is often seen fighting or in intense meetings which lead to large temperament problems. But- hopefully, the konoha village and the other kages know of his true honorable side. He will protect his village, even at the cost of his life. "The fire's shadow illuminates the village"
History:
The Beginning
After Naruto took his rightful place as the 7th hokage, Konohamaru and Moegi decided to have a child together, naming him Kintaro Sarutobi. This child was taught many things at an early age, and by many people such as his father and Naruto. And as you may think, he learned many lessons, skills and morals that both naruto and konohamaru learned as children, hoping to teach him to be a strong willed ninja.
Kintaro, however, never got anything else from the two, since he was a rather calm and srious child, whom spent more time training and studying then pranking. It was said that he was more mature then his father, which made people joke that Kintaro was a spirit of hiruzen, his great grandfather.
Any who, as a result of his nature and his blood, he claimed number one at the academy. His control over chakra was amazing, and he simply didn’t stop progressing, because of his will to be the best. It was another thing his father taught him, and of course, he took it very serious.
Graduation
Again, as time passed by, Kintaro continued to see himself at top, and never once dropped from his rank. As a result, he was seen to be amazing, but from a few, they saw him as a cheat. It was all because of his “lineage” and “connections. But of course it wasent true, and then Kintaro realized that his blood had its cons. People were going to use it against him as an excuse, so Kintaro continued his training, hoping to prove them wrong. His father did say there was no easy way.
Slowly, because of his quick progression, he learned of his fire affinitive, and with the help of his father and a few scrolls, he learned to control it. At the same time, he discovered more scrolls filled with new jutsus and information but they seemed to be hidden in his fathers office. Did konohamaru hide it from him? So reading the discreetly, he realized the many more powers he has yet to learn. “Amazing.” He thought awed for the first time. It was incredible about what has happened and what his clan has accomplished. It seemed to fuel him up even more, just to learn, and to get better.
Training
After Graduating from the academy, he was placed in a group of 3, which he expected to be an amazing group only to be surprised. The two were completely at loss, and out of focus. The female, Satsuki, was always fatigued by him, while the male, Yusuke, had a strong dislike for him. Why? It was always unknown to him, but despite all of the disappointment, Kintaro learned to accept them. The hokage did pick out these teams himself, and his father told him there was always a reason, plus team work was always a base of the morals he was taught. Beside he was naturally patient, so he worked with the two slowly.
Now, their team grew to accept each other, learning more and growing stronger. Even Kintaro learned a few things from the two which surprised him. His father and Naruto were the only ones who he learned from. It wasent that bad though.
Anyways, while his father was away, he would take the chance to read more of those scrolls. It was filled with clan history, and jutsus, which of course peaked his interest. Kintaro, However got caught and was again surprised that his father lacked the scolding he believed he would give him. Turns out, the scrolls were going to be for Kintaro in the future. But his father believed that he can learn early, it was in their blood. So with the help of his dad, he learned the jutsu faster than he would have by himself and at the same time, his father told him of the past, like how his grandfather listed all the jutsus and was considered the god of shinobi. It was then that Kintaro strived to be the hokage, seeing how the eyes of his father sparkled as he talked. It inspired him in a way. It also started a little training session between the two, causing him to separate from his team for a bit, well until he returned for the chunnin exam.
The Chunnin Exam
Kintaro returned from his training, successful and..different. As a child, he looked young and small, but when he returned he went through a growth spurt.
He was taller, stronger, smarter and was a bit more happy in nature. It seemed that his father got him to do more than just training, but to learned to grow more happy. What he had was a list of jutsus, a faster physical and a secondary nature, Earth.
The change helped his team mates during the exams and they left with winning spirits. And when they finally became Chunnin, the other two began to separate. Yusuke and Satsuki went to train on their own, seeing how they were lacking behind from Kintaro. It was only right, even Kintaro believed in their tactics.
So visiting each other ever so often for a spar, they all progressed. It was then that the jounin promotion was called.
Jounin Promotion
Satsuki and Yusuke became Jounnin, along with Kintaro, whom was still the best, because of all the non stop training. It, however, lead to many dislikes and at the same time many impressions. His circle was wide with comrades, and they would always give him their trust during missions. Since the beginning of his jounin age, he would always sacrifice his life, despite the treatment he was given at the time. But it was all because of his lessons as a child. He would always do the better good, making him quiet a leader. His files were impressive as well, and without him knowing, he was being watched closely by someone he looked up to.
Becoming a Kage
When Kintaro reached the age of 25, he was called upon the hokage suddenly after a solo mission which seemed suspiciously difficult, even for him. Though he didn’t think of anything as he saw the hokage, whom was old and close to retiring, nevertheless he remained respectful.
And expecting a new mission, he was completely off guard as the hokage requested something from him which he hoped for a long time.
“Kintaro Sarutobi, you have been choosen to become the next hokage.”
He was completely blown away but he kept his composure, simply asking for the reasons. He was told that he was always at the top of his shinobi class and generation, he was also told that his nature was always full of pure intentions, which was necessary for such a high and powerful rank.
Of course, he was tested by a few, only to win his place as the next hokage. It was a nostlogic feeling however… as a child he always dreamed of being as great as his great grandfather, konohamaru and Naruto . But finally being here, it meant that everything was in the past.
It also ment that Naruto was going to leave… It angered him a bit out of emotion, it was his father who calmed him down though. And despite much of his resistance, he accepted the fact that time was always passing.
