Samantha "Sam" Kelsing

"I told you I'm not angry! ...Well, I wasn't..."

a character in “Nathaniel Latimer's school for the troubled”, as played by The*Lucky*Teacup

Description

Samantha "Sam" Kelsing

Age: 17

Image

Personality:

Sam is one of these stubborn mean looking girls who is a bit of a tomboy and has trouble trusting other people and leaving her defenses down. Samantha often feels the only person she can really trust is herself, and for that reason, she has the appearance of someone who wants to be alone and is a 'bad girl'. In reality, she's not really like this. She's a bit sarcastic, and has a good sense of humor. She can be playful and loves to race others, purely because she can rub it in their faces that she's more advanced than them. All in good nature, of course. But with her friends, she does like to have a laugh. She's very protective of herself and more often than not would prefer to stay alone so that she doesn't have to worry about others. Sam is also one of these people who gets frustrated when she can't do things and will get agitated with herself and get angry. This often leads to breaking down in a rage and then punching her fist into a wall, or in extreme cases, lead to her 'downside'. Sam certainly isn't great at keeping down her temper, and will probably get angry quite easily. She actually has anger issues, but in most of her therapy sessions seems to not want to talk about it. But, as well as not being able to keep her anger down, Sam isn't all that crazy about showing off her emotions anyway. If she feels happy, embarrassed, flustered, twitter-pated, any of these kinds of good things, she'll become defensive, curse and swear and try to hide these feelings. Happiness is one she only shows every so often. Usually when she does, she bites her lip to hide her smiles, unless it becomes unbearable. Then, she can't help but let out a small smile. You'll know she trusts you, when she finally smiles at you and you actually hear her laugh. She’s secretly still a very nice girl, but she doesn't like to show this side to people. She sees it as her weaker side.

Likes:

[*]Rock Music
[*]Sports
[*]The cool fresh air (Especially at night)
[*]Rain, thunderstorms and other things like that.
[*]Getting things done well and right
[*]Knowing that she can trust someone
[*]She has a weakness for cute things (Small animals, babies, chibi's)
[*]Peace and quiet

Dislikes:

[*]The Government
[*]Being angered and made to look like the bad guy
[*]Wearing a dress (Not dislike, more like Despises wearing a dress -counts for skirts too)
[*]Obnoxious, stubborn people
[*]The Fear of being taken by the government
[*]Weather that's too hot
[*]Not being able to find her happy place
[*]Being called "Sammy"
[*]Fatty foods (It's not the tastes she dislikes, it's the fact that it could make her stamina fall a little.

Position:

Good Student

Gift:

Advanced Stamina -It means that Samantha has better agility and can do more physical activity for longer than others without breaking a sweat. It means that she's more physically fit than others and has better defenses than others, due to being more alert even after an hour (or more) of extreme exercise.

Downside;

Sam sometimes could have mental breakdowns, fainting episodes, or nose bleeds. However, it is nothing to do with her stamina, it's to do with her anger issues. If she's experiencing extreme anger, then the least that could happen is that her mind gets so heated that her nose begins to bleed. But, it could get to as extreme as having a mental breakdown, falling motionless and being trapped in a less-serious coma-like state. It'd most likely to be no longer than about an hour (more likely shorter than that) but although she'll seem like she's unconscious and has simply fainted, she'll be fully aware of her surroundings. Just unable to move, speak or do much to her own accord apart from breath and listen to the things around her. She has fainted as well in the past, but this seems to happen less than the coma-like breakdown.

So begins...

Samantha "Sam" Kelsing's Story

#, as written by Tonks
James Hale

As James finished the long equation, he was unable to ignore the giggling coming from the corner of the room. " Mrs. Kelsing, either get the hell out of my room or be quiet." he says calmly without looking up, from his intentionally messed up equation. He wanted to see if his students would just follow him or would challenge him. Leaning back in his chair at his desk he looks over the class. " you have twenty minutes." he smirks. " begin."

Abrianna 'Ace' Hale

Scooting away from the class Ace pulled up her gloves. She couldn't do this project, it would require her to remove her gloves. " Erm, Professor O'Connor.." she says looking at the clay warily. She didn't want to see the life story of some stupid clay.

Samantha Kelsing

Sam looked up when James had mentioned her name and rolled her eyes. The ditzy blonde next to her was giggling about some lame joke on her phone and of course, she got the blame for it. She grunted a little and then looked at the equation on the board, scribbling down in her book. It was clearly visible that she was becoming more and more annoyed and aggravated as time passed. Her face scrunched up, her brows knitted together, and she began tensing her fists. Every so often, she'd violently rub out some markings on her paper from where she'd thought she'd done something right but it was just another foolish mistake. Get it together Sam, get it together...

Peter O'Connor

Peter looked over to Ace when she had called him over and blinked down at the clay. He looked back up to her questionably and walked over. "What's the matter?" he asked, looking over the gloves and then looking back up to her face. It was required of him to know each of his student's 'disability' and so he didn't really question her looking rather warily at the grey lump of squishy material.

James Hale

Watching Sam carefully, James started to see the warning signs of a full blow up. " times up, hand in your work." he says " turn in your work then you can go." he pulls out a rubix cube, " accept you Sam, I'd like to have a word with you." Dropping the cube James sighs, it wasn't a challenge for him any more. He longed for a puzzle that would hold his attention for even an hour.

Ace Hale

" I'm not allowed to remove my gloves," she shrugs, " I don't want to hurt anyone," she shies away from the teacher, he was very different since he had come back from his vacation, they used to get along well. Now, he was different. It had all started when she went to welcome him back, and he hadn't even heard her. And anyone who knew anything about him knew that was impossible.

Samantha Kelsing

Great, just great... Sam refused to slam her pencil down, knowing that she was getting enough looks, just by Mr. Hale telling her to stay behind for a 'word'. That never meant anything good, but it always seemed to happen to her. She shakily lowered her pencil and rubbed her temples, muttering to herself to cool it and then closing her eyes, letting out a few heavy sighs and then finally getting to her feet. The angered tomboy swung her small backpack over her shoulder and waited for the rest of the class to clear out before slumping to the front of the class and laying the book with scribbles and a few rips here and there on the desk before shoving her hands into her pockets. "What have I done now?" She mumbled, looking down to the floor and hoping that James wouldn't be too long with the typical 'you need to control yourself' speech. She thought for a moment and then looked up quickly. "If it's about that kid that lost a couple of teeth, I swear, he punched me first!" She said at a quick pace, hair fluttering slightly as she shook her head.

Peter O'Connor

Peter blinked down at her gloves and then walked to his desk, rummaging through the drawers and then pulling out two plastic transparent gloves. This way, she wouldn't get her own gloves dirty and would still be able to do the project. He held them out to her and then tilted his head at her. She seemed a little bit... cautious, around him. It certainly wasn't the way she used to act. She used to be friendly and playful. 'A student worthwhile' he remembered quoting to others, although they may not have agreed from time to time, considering she was possibly one of the most dangerous students there. "Anything else you need help with?" He asked, only just now taking out one of his ear plugs and letting it hang around his neck. Even with them on however, he could hear what she had said. Just by taking that one earplug out he could hear what the entire class was saying. It was really quite irritating.

James Hale

Closing his eyes, James collects his thoughts. Sam was a good kid, she had a lot of potential she just needed to learn how to control herself. When she asks what she did this time, the teacher didn't quite know how to reply. Knowing he had to say something he started to speak, only to be cut off by her saying that she had knocked out some kids teeth. Jamescouldnt help but laugh at that, " you really thnk I would be upset with you over getting in a fight?" he asks thinking back to his more or less famous fights.

Ace Hale

" no," Ace says as she slips on the gloves her favorite teacher had given her. Then making a split second choice, she hugs Peter, making sure she didn't touch his skin. " I'm glad your back," she steps back and hopes she had just caught him on a bad day, they all had them and his gift probably made them even worse. Blushing slightly she turned back to her separate desk, it was mostly for the others safety that they didn't sit by her, although it also had to do with the fact that in a school of dangerous freaks she was the most dangerous.

Samantha Kelsing

Sam relaxed a bit at James' somewhat dismissive laughter and then scratched the back of her arms slowly, directing her eyes away from him. "I guess not..." she bit her lip, holding back the hint of a smile that was creeping onto her lips and then looking back up to him, a questioning look glazing over her eyes. She'd known James quite well over the years. He didn't seem to look at her as a troublemaker, just... more of a girl who didn't know how to put the brakes on. "Well... why did you want me to stay back then?" She asked, looking through the tops of her eyes up to the man and folding her arms together.

Peter O'Connor

Peter jumped slightly when she had hugged him, rather taken by surprise by this sudden movement. However, before he really had a chance to hug her back she simply pulled away and went to her own little desk. Peter stared at her for a moment. As much as he felt inside of him that he needed to go over there and give her company, there was an unusual pang in his gut telling him to just let her get on with things. Two parts of his brain were fighting it out over the choice and for a moment he was simply tapping his fingers on the desk in decision, the noise thundering in his ears. After a moment, he shoved his earplug back in and walked towards Ace. "What kind of piece are you thinking of making?" He asked the girl as he looked to the lump of clay before her.

James Hale

Smiling triumphantly at the small smile he won out of Sam, James says holding out the rubix cube for her to mix up. " I noticed you were starting to lose your cool over the math problem, and I wanted to offer to take you on in a more relaxed class. It would just be you and a couple of other students who, like yourself, would enjoy a different type of class." James had just gotten clearance to make a more select class, one for gifted students in his area of expertise, but they had trouble in a large class.

Ace Hale

Focusing in on the clay, it took Ace a few seconds to reply to Peter. " I'm thinking of making a representation of my memories in the form of a tree..." she says softly feeling all of the random memories and thoughts flying through her head, it was normally controllable for her, but not now. Now she felt herself beeing dragged in to the memories of a old woman who had forced Ace to take her memories. The woman claimed it would help her in the long run.

She- the woman was sneaking in to a large garden, it was late at night and she was terrified of being caught. " Stella, I don't think we should be here.." The younger girl says looking around. " the witch might get us.." The woman, Stella was her name, laughed nervously. " don't be silly Casey, there isn't a witch here. That's just a story.." suddenly a bush rustles, and both girls screamed.

Coming out of the memory Ace whimpered quietly as she opened her eyes to see many of the students looking at her and whispering about what had just happened. Ace knew it wasn't very pretty when she relived others memories, she almost always cried. She stood and walked out of the room, if she was going to cry, it wasn't going to be infront of the other kids.

Samantha Kelsing

Sam scoffed and rolled her eyes. "A 'special' class in a 'special' school? James, are you trying to turn my life into a Dr. Zeus novel?" she asked sarcastically as she shook her head gently. As much as she hated to admit it, the idea of leaving this class and going to a smaller one did sound extremely appealing. She hated the guts of this class. They were whiny, obnoxious and just plain annoying. The boys knew about her pet peeve of being called Sammy, and just called her it even more! Sam felt her nails dig into her palms and told herself to stop thinking about them. She took the Rubix cube and violently- sorry, quickly changed it into something else. "Fine. I'll take your stupid special class. But only because you want me to. I don't give a shit." she held the cube back out to him, huffing to herself.

Peter O'Connor

Peter watched Ace remember the memory and tear up with no reaction. Was he meant to react? He didn't really know. He glanced down to the clay, looked up and the door slammed. Well it sounded like it to him anyway. Peter leant against the table and shaped it into the basic tree shape before looking to the door. "If you do anything stupid I'll still be able to hear you." he warned the class as he stood and walked to the door, wiping clay remains onto his pants and then walking out the door. "Ace." he said gently, hearing her thoughts and walking towards her. "Don't remember things that'll make an impact on you." he said quietly, looking at her with calm eyes. "And excuse yourself before leaving the classroom." he commented, picking at the clay on his hands.

"All I ask is that you show up." The teacher says taking the cube from her and without even looking at it, he began to solve it. After a few minutes and two sides of the cube compleated, he asks, " Do you wan to talk about why the problem got you so worked up?" he glanced at the clock, Her class was his last of the day and he wasn't exspected at the staff meeting for another twenty minutes. Watching the young teen he coudn't help but be reminded of himself when he was at this very school. Although he didn't suffer from anger, no, he was overly cocky. Nothing the professors threw at him was even remotely a challenge to him, and so he talked a lot of shit and got in a lot of fights.

Ace Hale

After she left the class Ace relized she didn't have anywhere to go, she couldn't go to her fathers class, not that she wanted to see him anyway. And she couldn't go back to her room, her room mate Zane wouldn't be happy about that. Eventually she just ended up leaning on a wall and letting go. Her entire body shook with sobs, it was all she could do to keep herself quiet. She didn't notice that Peter had followed her until he spoke. " I can't control what I remember." she says taking deep breaths. " And I'll try and remember to excuse myself next time I break down in tears." she says sarcastically.

Samantha Kelsing

"No." Sam almost said too quickly, glancing to her book that look like it had been digested and then regurgitated due to her frustration when doing homework. Yes, plenty of times had the book been chucked off a window into a pond or stabbed at with scissors. "It'll just wind me up more..." She said with a small sigh, running a hand through her hair before looking up to him. "I know... you want to help me." She said carefully, making sure to keep on looking at him. "But many people have tried, and many have often ended up pulling their hair out with frustration. Or become just very... scared." Sam had many memorable moments when she fainted whilst in a therapy session and the therapist had ended up being more shaken than she was. She'd gotten used to it. Her anger was something she needed to put up with. Nothing more anymore... "I mean, I might as well just wear a halloween mask to make it worse." She said, slightly jokingly.

Peter O'Connor

"No need to use that sort of attitude." Peter said calmly, blinking at her a couple of times and then letting out a small breath. "Well, can't you manage to stop them if you start remembering them?" He asked, not quite sure about it. Sure, he knew what she did, but had never really gotten around to questioning it all that much. It was something that he just usually found out eventually. He gently sighed before reaching into his pocket and pulling out a pair of headphones. He put them in Ace's ears and started playing some classic rock music. He tossed the ipod to her and then turned away from her. "Follow me." He said, walking down the hallway.

James stood up and walked around the edge of the table. " Sam, I'm not some shrink or a councilor. Or even remotely qualified to help you deal. But I have damn near endless patience, and I'm more than willing to try and help you." He smiles holding up the compleated rubix cube. " What do you say kiddo? " he asks with no idea how he would go about helping the teen. Just that no one has in the past has been able to help her, But he would.

Ace Hale

Ace watched Peter as he walked away. " Wait," she says running after him, " Don't you have to stay with the class?" she didn't want her favorite teacher to get in trouble with the school board. Mostly because her dad was on the board and that would finally give him at chance to fire Peter. She looked around hoping none of the other teachers freak out.

Samantha Kelsing

Sam's eyes drifted down to the rubix cube and she bit her lip. Well... she knew she needed help... and she knew James. She had a gut feeling that if anyone could deal with her, it was him. They had similarities. But mainly differences. She had a lack of confidence in herself and got angry because of it. Whereas James was purely just very cocky. Incredibly cocky. Reason why he was the teacher for harder subjects. "Uhm... I..." Sam looked up to his face, tilting her head. She saw the smile. It was a smile she'd seen when he had been dealing with a tricky puzzle. It was determination. For all she knew, this was just another puzzle for him. Just another thing to figure out. "...Okay, fine. But I doubt you'll get anywhere..." She sighed gently, folding her arms together. "And don't do anything embarrassing either..."

Peter O'Connor

Peter looked into a classroom and broke through the door to a small woman marking some papers. "Hey, Dorothy, I need you to watch my class for a while, got some student trouble. Okay? Thanks much appreciated." Before she could even speak up Peter shut the door and continued walking down the hallway. "Problem solved..." He pushed on a hallway door that lead to a staircase and gestured for her to walk through.

James Hale

" Fantastic!" James says thrustung the cube in to her hands. James was eager to start in on this fascinating new puzzle. "You know she's a person right?" a smooth Jamacian accent says from over his shoulder. " Shut up." he snapps looking over his shoulder at.. Nothing. But that wasn't he saw, he saw a tall beautiful woman that radiated power, and calm. " She's a human being, not another puzzle that you need to solve." She put her hands on her hips glaring at him. " You don't think I know that? I am very aware of what she is!"

Ace Hale

Pulling out a headphone Ace looks up at Peter, " Where are we going Peter?" she asks looking around, she was going to be late for her next class. " She walked down the stairs " Peter?" she asks looking over her shoulder. Ace didn't like enclosed spaces, the chances were much higher of her touching someone. Closing her eyes she slowed her breath and took off the flimsy plastic gloves Peter had given her. Then wouldn't stand up to her power when she was this scared, only her carefully made gloves could prevent a terrible accident. Digging around in her pockets she franticly searched for her back up gloves.

Samantha Kelsing

Sam raised an eyebrow at James talking to... oxygen (She guessed) behind him and tilted her head a little, raising an eyebrow. "One, I didn't say anything..." She said, still staring at him weirdly. "And... two, if you're not going to take this seriously I'll just leave now." She sighed gently, tossing the Rubix cube onto the desk and watching it clump about a bit. It was pretty much a loudy excuse to get away from 'I shall help your anger' claims and just go for a run. That always seemed to calm her. That and destruction. And swearing. And lots of violence... She picked up her backpack and pulled it onto her shoulder. For a moment there she'd actually thought he was going to make an effort though. It wasn't like James normally dissapointed. Ha. Haha. Ah-hahaha. The thought that he'd actually succeed made her laugh humorlessly. She let out a small grunt, flicking ginger hair about as she headed towards the door.

Peter O'Connor

Peter watched her panic for a moment and then put the ear plug back in. He held the sides of her face, two large palms holding over her ears as he stared deeply into her wide panicked eyes. "Calm." He mouthed to her simply, rubbing her temples softly before grabbing her wrist and pulling her to a door. Upon swinging it open, they were greeted by wide open spaces and amazing soothing sounds. The soft country air whistled in his ears and he could see dandelion buds freshly blown from a dandelion floating away. He released her wrist and looked to her with a raised eyebrow. He popped one of the earphones out. "If you calm down and learn to control that built up fear..." He pushed her hair out of her face. "Life will be a hell of a lot easier." He pulled back and looked round to his little haven of peace he'd never told anyone about. Perhaps it would help Ace with self control on her fear.

James Hale

Shaking his head, James forces the image of the woman away. " Sam?" he asks looking back at her, but she was already half way out the door. " Sam, where are you going?" he asked looking around, he had another episode. Fantasic, he thought, now she thinks I'm crazy on top of all of this. " Sam, I'm sorry." he laughs a little uncomfortably " Thats my.. My down side.." he takes off his glasses and cleans them off on his shirt. " They have taught you guys about that by now haven't they?"

Ace Hale

Ace didn't even notice where they were, no, she was more focused on the fact that Peter touched her without anything happening to him or her. She stared at him shocked, but his voice shook her out of it. " I can control it." she says full of self comfidence. " I'm just going through some troubles." she looked around the little hide away, a smile on her lips. " What I wan to know is how the hell you could touch my skin and still be alive." she looked up at him confused, she really wanted an answer.

Samantha Kelsing

Sam paused in the doorway and turned a little to James. "Your... Downside?" She raised an eyebrow and stepped back a bit. "Yeah, I know about downsides. My one is my anger." She said, nodding knowingly but still looking rather confused. "What's your downside then? I mean... you were talking to nothing." She said, gesturing to the space behind him with a little tilt of her head. "That just seems like your insane, not nescisarily a downside..." Sam shrugged, through walked back into the classroom, slightly intrigued as to what James' downside was and why it caused him to turn around and talk to nothing.

Peter O'Connor

Peter raised his hands and wiggled his fingers. "Transparent gloves." He told her before walking a little more out into the more empty area and leaning against a small railing, gazing out across the field. Peter closed his eyes and let the breeze brush past his black hair, enjoying the relaxing sensation and listening to the gentle sound of leaves falling distantly and ignoring the sound of traffic a couple of miles away. He looked back to Ace and tilted his head. "Troubles?" He asked, only just realising she had said it. Peter knew she had troubles, but he wanted to know whether they were any different from usual.

Samantha Kelsing

Sam frowned a little and blinked at James a couple of times, frowning slightly and biting her lip. "I'm, uh... sorry about that..." She mumbled quietly, scratching the back of her arm and casting her eyes down to the ground and feeling kinda sorry for James, though wasn't about to show it any second now. "Uhm, well... do you reckon you can still help me out? W-with my anger I mean..." Sam looked up to him, blinking a couple of times and holding the back of her arm still.

Peter O'Connor

"Zane?" Peter asked, tilting his head and raising an eyebrow at Ace. He bit his lip, wondering if the government had already gotten Zane and not told him anything about it. There was so much that he hadn't learnt yet, he just needed to find things out eventually. He sighed and then felt his phone vibrate. "Hang on a sec..." He pulled his phone out and read the message. He blinked a couple of times and then put his phone away. Well that's a bit of a downer... he thought. Ace was probably the only happy girl he actually talked to... Well, guess he couldn't do much to stop it now. "It must be puberty or something..." Peter continued with the Zane comment and then looked to Ace. "There's someone I'd like you to meet Ace." He said after much deliberation, blinking at her.

James Hale

James looked up at his student, " You still want my help?" he asked surprised that she would even think about it. He knew his story was a sad one, but that didn't mean he wanted to gilt her in to accepting the help from him, especially about something so delicate as her down side.

Ace Hale

" Someone you'd like me to meet?" she parrots back at him, " Um, are you sure that's a good idea? I don't have my gloves or anything... What If they want to shake my hand?" she looked up at her teacher, probably the only person she had ever truly trusted. " I don't want to hurt anyone.."

Samantha Kelsing

Sam nodded carefully and then let out a slow sigh. "F.Y.I. though, don't think that because I'm asking for your help that I want to become any closer with you." She folded her arms together. "I'm doing it for my sake. I need to get stronger, and in order to do that, I need to get control of my stupid anger issues..." She sighed gently and scratched the back of her neck. "That and maybe if I don't seem like such a bully, people will actually want to believe that I'm a good person, and haven't suddenly been mind-controlled..." She sighed gently, closing her eyes and then looking away from James. Sam would never admit it to a living thing of any sort, but she didn't like being seem as the tough girl. Sure, she was tough and rough, but she'd never intend to hurt someone, unless they hurt her first...

Peter O'Connor

"You won't." Peter shook his head. "It's someone who can try and help you with your downside..." Peter looked towards the door and then walked towards it. "You won't need your gloves... I just want you to trust me, and trust him." He said gently, opening the door and making a slightly creaky noise, before holding the door for her and seeing if she'd actually follow.

James smiled at her attempts to disntance herslef from him and other people. " Alright, I'll be extra stodic so that there is no friendliness at all." he picked up her math book. " Now I'd like to see and hear the process of a melt down, so why don't you walk me through what got you so upset in this last class." his eyes were taking in everything they could and filing it away for future referance. This was his gift in full swing, he was hyper observant and couldn't blosk out anything other people may or may not want him to find out.

Ace Hale

All of Ace's instincts said not to go with Peter. But, she reasoned. He was a teacher, he couldn't do anythign to harm a student. And on top of that she really did trust him. " Alright.." she says walking towards the door, " But I need to be back by six, I'm having dinner with mey dad." she walked throught the door and then waited for Peter to lead her to who ever he wanted her to meet.

Samantha Kelsing

Sam blinked down to the maths book, looking down her nose at it in disgust. In truth, she hated maths. No, not hated. Despised it... She looked down to the book and then read through her scribbles. "Well... first, you picked a rather intimidating equation..." She murmured quietly. "And then, I tried so many possibilities to try and solve it, but none of it seemed to be working." She said, indicating the different points over and over. "And then I tried them again, and again, and again..." She gritted her teeth as she remembered her pencil ripping through the paper from writing things down too hard. "And by the way, that giggling at the back of the class wasn't me." She mumbled at the end, sighing softly...

Peter O'Connor

Peter nodded once and then began walking out of the building, not really saying anything to her and just going down the hallways silently. In all honesty, Peter wasn't sure he wanted to take her down there. The poor girl was just another student. One of his favorite students at that. Well... it wasn't like she was leaving or something. It was just that they'd be on the same side this time. Peter lead her out of the building and then went around the front, looking around for the agent that had text him.

" I'm sorry," James says walking over to the board he had writen the impossible equation on. " I'll be sure to kick her out next time." In his level of teaching James had no time for dumb blondes. " But back to what I asked you, you did try almost all the possibilities." he smiled as he quickly wrote out several ways that the problem should have been solved. None of them came out with the right answer though. He glanced over his shoulder at the student, " You could have challenged me on how I wrote the equation." he took a step to the left and re-wrote the equation. " Had you done that, I would have eventually told you that the entire equation is wrong." he finished the correct equation. " I wasn't trying to teach a math lesson." He smiled and turned around. " I was teaching a life lesson."

Following the teachers lead, Ace hurried her pace so that she was walking next to Peter. She wasn't scared, she trusted Peter too much for that. When they walked out of the building Ace shivvered as the cold finally got to her. " Damn," she said softly. " I should have brought my coat."

Agent Snow watched carefully as his asset and the newbie walke in to the driveway. " Right on time." he says walking out of the shadows, he always did have the flair for dramitcs.

When the strange short man apeared Ace jumped and unintenionally grabbed Peter's hand. " Peter.." she says softly, growing more scared. " Who's this?"

Samantha "Sam" Kelsing

"What a stupid idea, why the fuck did you do that?!" She blurted out by accident, though her fists tensed and she narrowed her eyes at the teacher. "How do you expect anyone to that when all the kids in your classes wouldn't want to even say that you had wrote it wrong because you know fucking everything!" She folded her arms together and bit her lip. "It's like you get a weird kick in tricking students..." She sighed gently and ran a hand through her short hair and exhaled deeply. "...Sorry... but that is really fu-... really annoying..." She just realised how much she had sworn and yelled, at a teacher. She closed her eyes and tried to do some of the calming exercises that the many councilor's had taught her. They never worked, but at least it would shut her gob for a few seconds or so...

Peter O'Connor

Peter squeezed her hand in return and looked to Agent Snow. He let out a deep sigh and then stepped towards him. "This is Agent Snow. He's here to help you with your downfall and help you improve." He looked back to her, and although he didn't smile, the look he was initially trying to give was comfort. It wasn't like it was going to hurt what they do to her. She... just would start thinking, and acting, differently. Which was something that, in all honesty, Peter didn't really want.

James watched Sam's outburst with rapt attention, this was what he was going to help her with. As she finished he nodded, excitedly. " Firstly I don't know everything, no one does. So never be afriad to challenge me, who knows." he flashed her a cheeky grin. " You might even win sometimes." he watched her carfully as he spoke, he wanted to see if he could pull her out of her anger with words or if it had to be more.

Ace Hale & Agent Snow

Ace looked from Peter to Agent Snow, " Hello." It was getting very close to when she had to meet her dad for dinner. " Is It really true you can help me?" she inherited her fathers skepticism when it cam to the government, but if they could help her control her powers that would mean she could acctually touch someone. He eyes flicked up to Peter, but then she slooked away with a blush.

Agent Snow nodded as he subtly handed Peter a syringe filled with the nano's that could change the girl in to an asset. " Yes, we have helped many with abilites similar to yours. I see no reason that you couldn't be in full control by tomorrow." With the help of some tiny robots.. he added silently.
