However, Song-Hua couldn't give less of shit about other people. Couldn't give a FLYING FUCK, to be precise. Although they stutter when they speak, their internal thoughts are normally filled with venom and crude, aggressive language. 180 straight years of watching humans commit terrible acts has nurtured a foul and coldhearted personality within the guardian. This all stems from a place of terror and bitterness within Song-Hua. They're afraid of the pain they may experience if they open themselves to others or the possibility of being burned by failed hope.
Song-Hua was born to be an impartial observer, never directly interfering with what is happening. Eventually Song-Hua internalized this role until it became difficult to move for anything. They are saturated in a deeply defeatist attitude, always believing in the worst possible outcome of every situation... to the point where they won't even try to change it, even if they have the opportunity. Maybe you could even describe Song-Hua as a 'Debbie Downer', lol.
But onto happier topics! Song-Hua's personality is both masculine and feminine. They don't have a problem with either form of gender expression. Even if they are using their male body, they will be fine with wearing women's lingerie. Or, even if Song-Hua is using their female body, they'll see no point in shaving their legs or plucking their brows. They have no femininity to threaten, no masculinity to challenge. This manifests in a variety of strange, off-putting quirks and behaviors, often making Song-Hua look out of place or even silly.

rogue / The guardian is proficient with a crossbow, staff, and daggers. However, their strongest point is stealth and hand to hand combat.
born a weapon / When finally kickstarted into action, they are dedicated beyond belief. No matter what tragedy may strike, Song-Hua will always maintain a steady and focused demeanor.

uncooperative / Flat out doesn't know how to work in a team. Song-hua has operated by themselves for such a long time, they wouldn't even know where to start with another person.

too much has changed
The Guardian of the Eye left the island at 20 years old to go observe the mainland. As far back as they remember, they've received visions of the Eye in their dreams.
Song-Hua followed the Eye's direction to different places on the continent to observe their conflict and struggle. Sometimes they would integrate themselves into the military, like in Scorpio and Aquarius, while other times traveling as a hunter or an earring peddler.
In the beginning, Song-Hua was brash and outspoken. Time and isolation gradually ate away at their personality, however, and Song-Hua's will to endure crumbled.
These past 180 years of moving around, only to watch tragedy after tragedy.... it's too difficult. They've given up.
