Set in the urban, sprawling playground of Ventura Bay and its surrounding areas, street racers run together. Make friends, enemies, and meet new racers, all on your quest to rule the streets. To do that, you won't just need friends, you'll need a fast car. Cops prowl the streets, so choose wisely, it's race or chase. If you do get into a chase with a cop, make sure your ride can handle what you've got planned. Travel to performance shops to upgrade your cars, and pick up the latest cosmetic mods. But while cruising, watch out for Sergeant Nathan Cross. He drives a black and white Corvette ZR1 (C6 Gen.) and will try to bust you in any way possible. He's been tracking you for years, and he's back for revenge after you escaped him in 2006. His Corvette isn't just any Corvette though. He's got a monstrous, supercharged, 505-horsepower V8 under the hood, so the chance of escaping in an underpowered car are very slim, unless you've got god-like driving skills to outwit him. The Ventura Bay PD are no slouches, either. They'll most commonly be cruising around in Crown Victorias or Dodge Charger Pursuit models, but when the heat comes down, be prepared for a fleet of Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sports (C7 Gen.) ready to bring you down with force. And spike strips, and 2012 Ford Explorers to block your route, which, unless you're in an old muscle car or a Ford Raptor, you're likely not getting around.
