1.) Treat other players as you want to be treated.
2.) No autoing (players decide what happens to their characters).
3.) No god-moding (immortality, invincibility, OP characters, etc.).
4.) No meta-gaming (player communication is encouraged, but please keep the OOC separate from the IC story).
5.) Turn-based (don't skip anyone unless MIA for 14 days).
6.) Balanced (magic > melee > range > magic). This is just one example but there are other alternatives. Basically just keep it simple, communicate with one another and stay balanced.
7.) Character sheet required (height/weight/activity effects
speed/strength/flexibility). Characters should progress and evolve in-game.
8.) Paraform is preferred but one-liners are acceptable.
9.) Interactive (all landscapes can be explored, exploited, or modified slightly but no perma-structures or mass destructions).
10.) All major IC disputes must be settled OOC by 3 third-party voters or judges (exactly 3 votes from non-involved players, no more and no less). This is perhaps the 2nd most important rule in the whole game, designed to ensure fairness and equality.
11.) Consult the GM if you have any issues or questions.
12.) If the GM is MIA then consult the Admin/Mods or one of the other more experienced, more IC active players.
13.) No character approval required (anyone can join).
14.) No age restrictions (mostly PG-13 but some adult language, gore and violence may occur). There is no IC censorship so viewer discretion is advised.
15.) Realism and believability is the key to a good story.
16.) All players must submit at least 1 character to be a part of one of the 3 factions/nations (see the Intro/OOC for details).
17.) All inclusive (all characters are approved). This includes fantasy, realistic, historical, medieval, paranormal, steampunk, mecha or science-fiction. But please remember rule #16 above.
18.) Please limit all OOC to the proper places (not in-game).
19.) Permadeath (all characters stay dead once killed IC, unless revived or somehow resurrected in-game).
20.) Have fun and enjoy the ride (this rule fulfils the needs of all rules above, and is therefore the single most important rule in the whole entire game). If you follow this rule, all the other rules are obsolete and unnecessary to continue playing.
