Sergeant First Class and 1st Platoon Sergeant, 10th Commando Detachment, 340th Commando Battalion, 56th Commando Regiment.
Salina is flexible and quick to adapt to new situations. She is quick to follow orders, but always thinks of risks and how to mitigate them for the benefit of her soldiers. She always places her soldiers before herself and is always the last soldier off the field and the first one on. She shows fair and impartial judgement and rewards those who deserve it and the same goes for disciplinary actions. However, she is rather lax with her soldiers and doesn't require them to go to parade rest when talking to her unless they are reporting or getting reprimanded. Salina shows a bit of a motherly tendency to her platoon and her soldiers seem to love her for that. Off duty Salina is rather relaxed and easy going. She likes to spend time getting to know her soldiers and tries to take the time to get to know her new commander as well.
SA Type 10 Crew Served Energy Weapon (CSEW)
The Type 10 is the newest and only direct energy weapon deployed by infantry. Earlier models are found on both ground and air vehicles. Fed by an energy pack, it can fire two hundred bolts of energy per minute. One energy pack (the size of a large backpack) stores enough juice for a thousand bolts. It requires a crew of three to operate.

Salina grew up with the rest of the military schooled kids. She excelled in math and science and loved the field training exercises. She showed a capacity for leadership at an early age and due to excelling in school she enlisted as a Specialist (SPC) and went to basic at age sixteen. She graduated basic training earning both the Soldier of the Cycle award as well as her company's PT award for scoring a 340 on her final PT test. Afterward she was selected for Shock school. After graduating she served in the 85th Shock Detachment, 2nd Infantry Battalion, 12th Shock Regiment.
She put all her effort into her work and rose steadily through the ranks through demonstrations of leadership and courage. Salina received several service achievement awards and was eventually chosen for commando training. After graduating she was promoted to Sergeant First Class from Staff Sergeant and assigned as platoon sergeant. She grew close with her soldiers as well as her commander. After her commander died in battle she put in her Warrent Officer packet and requested a transfer. The transfer was denied and no word has been received on the status of her packet. She feels a little resentful of the new commander as he's filling a spot the rest of them would rather of left to Lieutenant Sisson.
