βPhysical Descriptionβ
Luna has always been small, her body stopping its growth before that of an average growth, and thus stands at a petite height of 5'2"feet at the age of 15. For her small size, many she was associated with could easily push the small girl around when they took an annoyance to her sudden panic attacks.
Everything about Luna resembled the moon. Her fair skin tone along with the midnight blue hair creates a sensation of the night sky in the eyes of others. Although a naive smile is usually plastered on her face, many can catch a hint of tension within her posture, always ducking her head in a sign of nervousness when near the company of others. The dress she usually has on is strapped on with the sleeves that are shaped like wings on the sides of her shoulders, matched with the pair of shoes that also hold feathers on their sides.
Although she looks human, do not be fooled. The child is in fact a Child of the Moon, the blue marking of a swan on her right shoulder symbolizes her faction.
βSkillsβ
- β¦ Sneaking/Hiding || If Luna doesn't want to be seen, others usually cannot find the girl always lurking out in the open, her curiosity bringing her to watch others from afar yet never gaining the courage to walk up close. Her small body and quiet movements often form the agility able to let her sneak around others and hide from the more menacing bodies.
β¦ Animal Care || A love for the animals that roam Neverland, Luna has a particular thing with animals, able to get them to trust her with a few gentle words and caresses. A strange ability she has also developed through interaction with them is the ability to mimic animal sounds, from birds to wolves, she takes a delight in playing around with these sounds.
β¦ Sketching || Always carrying a sketchbook in her arms, they're usually for her to take down the sudden premonitions that often enter her mind, uncalled for. However, she does have a particular skill with drawing, the strokes reflecting perfectly what she can see in her mind, taking down a still scene from the glance into the future.
βPower Abilitiesβ
- β Precognition || The ability to see things before they happen, often triggered by a sense of danger either Luna feels or a person near her feels. It is rare for Luna to see anything past the events of the day, often times simply seeing flashes of images seconds before the event occurs. However, the long-term premonitions is always drawn onto the pages of her sketchbook, whether consciously or subconsciously.
β History Reading || The ability to see one's past, their losses, pain, recollections, and dreams, all through a second of physical contact. To Luna, simple contact with the person's skin pushes glimpses of the person's past into her mind. Although she never has control over what she can see, the strongest memories usually seen the clearest and the deepest fears usually hits her mind the hardest.
β Voodoo Effect || A strange ability, but it was the one that she barely retains any control over. A simple contact with others' skin, she is able to transfer her own feelings and thoughts to that person. However, that ability is often unconsciously used in worse ways. If physical harm was to come to Luna, physical contact with the person who harmed her within the past hour allows her to unconsciously transfer the same effects onto them, reflecting the damage as if by voodoo magic.
β Holy Light Manipulation || She can only attempt one aspect of this power, the least developed of all the abilities. The holy light can be used for healing powers, borrowing from the powers of the moon, but even after years of trying to master it, she can only heal small portions of others' through contact with their skin that ultimately earns her fatigue after several minutes. However, with each attempt, a shining silver mark is left from her touch. A mark of the moon, or as she calls it.
βLikesβ
- β₯ Night Time || A Child of the Moon, night times are her favorite time period of the day. Often, you can find Luna sleeping the day away and awake during the night, simply staring at the stars. While under the moonlight, her powers are much stronger than they are during the day, the night time is also comforting to her. Sometimes, one can find her talking toward the sky, as if communicating with the moon. While she cannot actually communicate with it, she takes comfort in the belief that it is watching over her.
β₯ Mysteries || Although she does not usually confront anyone regarding these, she is intrigued by mysteries, always seeking to explore and wander every corner of Neverland. She is often found lurking around the forests, under the cover of the night, attempting to learn everything she can about the place in which she lives in along with its inhabitants. Her curiosity is vast and many times gets her into trouble.
β₯ Games || Although usually distant from others, Luna loves to play games, from hide-and-seek to simple IQ games, she always finds these playful times to be both intriguing and enlightening.
β₯ History || The mysteries of the world fascinates her, and the answers she seek are often embedded into the ground before her eyes. She must find the answers, those that answer her questions regarding life, death, and so on. Perhaps that's why she wanders Neverland, to discover all she can from the plants, the animals, and simply nature itself.
βDislikesβ
- β Being Touched || Luna cannot control her powers, unable to control what she wants to see and who she wants to see things from. A mere contact of skin can push her into someone else's life, get glimpses of their memories and feel their secrets and pains. It holds a sense like prying into someone else's life and Luna has hated it every second of her life, especially when others do not believe the premonitions or when they deny that she has seen into their deepest fears or secrets.
β Children of the Sea/Woods || There's simply this natural distaste for Children of the Moon toward the others. For Luna, the natural distaste is also heightened by her observation of the others, deeming the Children of the Woods as mischievous and untrustworthy. Although she holds no particular grudge toward the Children of the Sea, she would prefer to stay away from the waters where the dangerous pirates lurk.
β Loud Noises/Disturbances || She's used to the peace and quiet, simply the sounds of nature. When that placid exterior of nature is disturbed, so is her usually calm facade, invoking nervous movements from the girl.
β Being Talked Down to || It cannot be denied that Luna is small, easy for others to underestimate. Although her offensive skills are nearly nonexistent, she dislikes being underestimated and being mocked, always thinking that she is able to accomplish anything. With an ambitious nature, Luna will never back down from challenges.
βHabits/Odditiesβ
- β Sneaking/Lurking || Curiosity dominates this girl's actions, always seeking for something, an answer to something or simply something fascinating. However, she does not wish for contact with others to come with these searches and thus always seems to lurk around, hiding under the shadows of the forest, with the cover of the moon.
β Sleeping in the Day || The odd habit that came with her love for the night. The time of night is when she usually takes her adventures, the light of day somehow tires her physically.
β Silver Streaks || Whether or not it's from her ability to control holy light, she does not know, but often with simply a touch, she is able to leave a faint, silver crescent mark on surfaces under her fingers. Under the moonlight is when this is strongest, and the streaks of silver follow the motions of her fingers, lighting up the night with a faint silver glow.
βStrengthsβ
- βͺ Reading Others || Luna has always had a strong sense of empathy, not merely from her abilities and powers but also from her ability to understand others through observing their words and actions.
βͺ Games/Mysteries/Riddles || Always having a love for solving questions, Luna loves any games that involves the workings of the mind. Give her a riddle, and she'll strive to solve it. Such has helped her develop a quick mind, able to solve such playful riddles and games within seconds, allowing her to easily win against a battle of wit.
βͺ Hiding/Running || She has never really relied on anyone, always preferring her own company next to others'. Through this, she has learned to care for herself, whether through basic survival means or simply learning to evade danger. If Luna does not want to be found, it would be rather difficult to find the girl lurking in the shadows of the night.
βWeaknessesβ
- β Naivety || Through tales of knightly valor and the stories of kingdoms and princes, Luna appears to live in a world of her own. However, through the pains she had seen years ago, it is no wonder that the girl created a new reality for herself, one where no pain nor sadness exists, only fun and exploration. To her, the world holds many mysteries for her to uncover.
β Offense/Strength || Luna nearly holds no offensive abilities, her powers ranging from passive to simply mental. Contributing to one of the reasons why she prefers to lurk rather than to confront, it is hard for her to stand up against those that wish for harm, using merely the voodoo effect to protect herself against others.
β Curiosity || The major aspect of her personality and her major flaw. When Luna finds a mystery, she cannot help but proceed to finding answers and solving it. When the girl takes on a challenge, there is no stopping her.
βPotential Interestβ
"I know not of his name... But simply that feel associated with his presence."
Many have caught her interest along her constant quests for answers, but only one has truly caught the girl's fascination. One by the name of Flint, a Lost Child, one of Pan's own, was one that crossed her path not only once. However, she kept herself away, remaining hidden in the shadows, for her distrust of others forced her to remain aloof to romantic feelings. But if so, why does the wish to see him influence her actions so strongly?
{Distant ll Naive ll Curious ll Playful}
It is as if Luna lives in a different world from others. Within that reality, there exists no fear, and the world is made up of mysterious waiting to be uncovered. It is a world where she can shield herself away from the pain and the loneliness, and find peace and comfort within herself. However, from the others' point of view, that world is one of naivety. Perhaps she may try to hide from the truth, but the harsh world is not one for Luna. Sure, she does not fear the pirates, but that fearlessness morphs into a chosen state of ignorance against the harsh reality of the world. Luna does not wish to be burdened by the cruelty of reality and thus distances herself away from that reality, choosing to believe in those fairy tales she loved to hear as a child.
The girl lurks in the shadows, but her laughter can be heard through the trees glowing silver under the moonlight. Choosing the hide in the shadows of the night, Luna's curious nature defines her personality. Always seeking for mysteries and knowledge, she finds company in the moonlight that accompanies her travels. Having a love for games and riddles, Luna never backs for a challenge nor a quest, always believing that when there's a question, there's an answer. Such makes up her playful nature, seeking for the fun and innocent pleasures in life rather than remaining in one place to be burdened by the emptiness of the unknown. However, Luna always observes from a distance, choosing to watch rather than interfere with the natural order of life. But even so, nothing excites her more than another new question waiting to be solved.
βHistoryβ
"Questions left unanswered... Where should I seek for their answers?"
Glimpses of a glittering moon, the coolness of a bed of grass. Those are her first memories. Where are the rest? She does not know, merely that everything simply slips away over the years. It became a curse, her abilities, for she can catch glimpses of everyone's past, everyone's lives, all except her own. Who were her parents? Did she have siblings? Did she have any family left? She no longer knew, but simply that she laid under the moonlight on an empty field. On that day, Luna began to seek for answers.
She sought for company, to push away the sense of emptiness that threatened to devour her entire being. From others she found company, those that also wandered the fields of Neverland. However, it did not last. One touch, and she watches their lives unfold before her eyes, their secrets, their fears, and their future. The girl did not understand her powers, always blurting out words others took as nonsense and madness. Soon, they began to push her away, fear her, for what she suggests, despite the words of truth she spoke. "Loony Luna". They took delight in the name, and shunned her away. Where was she to go? At least she now knew where she wasn't to go. To the company of others, for all she invokes is fear and hatred.
For years she continued on, in the land she calls home. Under the moonlight she traveled, within the shadows of the night, for the day no longer welcomed her. She lurked behind the shadows, watching with strange curiosity at those that resides within her land. Perhaps with them, she can find the answers she sought for. She's seen Children of the Forest, Children of the Sea, pirates, the Lost Children, and more. With one, she took particularly interest. While Luna did not know his name, the light that reflected in his eyes showed kindness. However, she pulled herself away, returning to the shadows where she believed she belonged. Who was he? She wished to find out. But how dangerous curiosity can be.
