Thomas laughed at her statement about living a thousand years. If she really had, then the world would seem move too quickly for her to visit everywhere. Europe was a much different place today than it was even fifty years ago, let alone five hundred years ago, which was when he was there last. At he comment about the cigarette, raised an eyebrow.
"Nicotine heightens your senses. I wouldn't say no to that if this is more than a mere accident."
She couldn't hide her excitement at the situation. Inwardly, he sighed. He didn't think he'd be able to dissuade her. Her spirit didn't indicate a cautious personality. Instead, he nodded.
"Alright, but be careful. You know what they say about night in this town," he told her with a slight grin. If she was like most mortals, she'd laugh it off, but he still felt the need to warn her.

Shane couldn't help but feel insulted when Posey made outright, borderline inappropriate moves on her colleague. She wouldn't say she's jealous, Cass is a friend. But the simple fact that that girl could just be so... forth right with her intentions, right in front of the Sheriff, says a lot about the girl, and honestly just makes Shane not like her more. But regardless of anything she felt, she kept it to herself as she angrily removed the body bag and gloves from the trunk. She stood there for a long moment, staring down at the objects before it clicked, "Why in the fuck am I doing this? I'm the Sheriff, not the mortician." She was practically ignoring Cass as she whipped out her cell phone, dialed a number then pressed it to her ear. "Hey... Yeah, Fig and Vine... Yeah I can wait."
She hung up the phone, before grabbing the body bag and walking over to the corpse. Shane laid the bag over the body, just so anyone who walked past wouldn't see it as she waited on the mortician. Walking back over to the cruiser, she closed the trunk, then went and sat in the driver's seat so she could turn on the radio. As she flipped through channels, she shouted out of the car towards Cass, "If you're going to go after her... then just go. I have this under control." She settled on a station that had the news playing, listening to hear if anything about the body had been reported yet, but to her relief it hadn't. She wasn't in the mood to deal with the media and everyone else asking her questions, then calling her crazy when she gave her honest to God opinion.
Once the ambulance had arrived, she went over and helped the mortician get the body into the bag, put it on a stretcher and push it into the back of the ambulance. She thanked the mortician, and began to close the back doors to the ambulance while he went to get back into the driver's seat. She hit the back doors twice to let him know that he was good to go and the ambulance drove off. Shane walked back over to the Police car, getting into the driver's seat this time. She started to put her seat belt on, and sat there waiting to see if Cass was going to chase after the easy blonde or get in the car. Honestly Shane didn't care either way, she just wasn't going to sit around and wait.

Once Drucilla departed Gerry's store, she headed on her way through the streets, she walked pass the alleyway she left her most recent meal lying upon the ground, finding that the area was being looked over by the sheriff and a deputy. The sheriff, she could tell the woman had been human, as for the deputy that was by her side, he gave off a sense of supernatural power, he wasn't a vampire, that was for sure. The brunette just shrugged it off and continued on her way through the dark streets that her lit up by light posts. Drucilla needed to act as normal as possible, now wasn't the time she needed to be caught. She had something to take care of.
Dru twirled the vials between her fingers as she walked, keeping her attention to the front of her, looking for the home of her descendant, the very descendant she had to torture and murder.
It didn't take any longer than twenty minutes to arrive at the address. All of the lights in the quaint little home were turned off, all but one on the far right of the home. It looked as if it were a bedroom. Drucilla smirked as she stepped through the yard and peered through the window. The woman had her eyes glued to a book as she laid in bed, she seemed to be in the house alone, all but an infant baby who was sound asleep. Dru could hear the baby's small snores coming from the room right next to the woman's.
She made her way over to the front door of the home and noticed that there had to be an alarm system hooked up. She sighed and just knocked on the door before waiting for the woman to answer. When the door was opened, a blonde female stood before her in her pajamas. Dru looked directly into the woman's eyes as she compelled her, "You are to let me inside and lock the door behind us then retreat back to your bedroom."
Just as Dru demanded, the woman did as she was told. Once the two of them were in the bedroom the brunette closed the door behind them and she immediately went at her. She tied her to the bed with a scarf she found lying on the floor. "Please, let me go," the woman stated. "I have a baby, I need to take care of her." Drucilla smirked at the woman's words, "Oh, don't worry darling, I'll take care of your baby," she beamed with a mischievous grin.
Once the baby was brought up Drucilla noticed that the woman had been crying, that's when she immediately brought one of the vials out and held the bottle up to the woman's eyes, catching the tears. Just like any human would, she tried to fight Dru off, but that was no use. The vampire slapped the woman across the face causing her to cry a bit more. Once enough tears were caught in the bottle she set it down on the dresser before retreating back to the woman.
Dru knelt down beside her and leaned into her neck, pierced the arteries on the left side of her neck and held the other vial up to the injury, filling it to the rim with her blood. Once that was done, she feasted upon her descendant. Causing her to be nothing more than a bag of bones.
She stood to her feet and made her way through the home to the kitchen and grabbed a trash bag and placed her body into it. She then stepped into the baby's room, stood at the side of her crib and glanced down at the sleeping baby. "Pitiful humans," she mumbled just before she lifted the baby into her arms, startling the child awake. "Don't worry disgusting human, you'll be put out of your misery soon," she beamed just before she snapped the child's neck and dropped it into the bag as well.
After grabbing the vials, Dru stepped out the back door of the home and ran through the woods behind the woman's house with her vampire speed and tossed the trash bag with the bodies in it into the lake before quickly retreating from the lake, hoping that she hadn't been seen.
