Christopher Pretige's Story

Scarny sat on her bed and started playing the guitar. She also started singing Chris's favorite song. She laughed when he would start singing. Then she would take it up again because he would get the words wrong. She loved hearing him sing though. She figured he got it from his father because she didn't think she was good at singing. After the song she put down the guitar and picked him up. "I say its time for Mommy to take you down to the swimming pool so mammy can teach you how to swim." She headed over to the elevator. When they got to the bottom she took him outside. When she stepped outside she took a deep breath. She loved the outdoors. They quickly got to the pool and got in already int here bathing suits. His transformer swim trunks and her lime green bikini.

Chris loved his mothers voice. It soothed him. Sometimes he felt as if he was about to fall asleep. He couldn't help but want to sing with her all the time. When she would laugh he would stop because he thought he was horrible but she always reassured him it was because he was so cute even when he messed up his words. When they went down stairs he was glad to get in the pool. It was really hot outside and it was really cold in the pool. He just loved learning to swim. The only part he didn't like about it was that it usually meant Mommy was going to work soon. Today though she had the day off and he was happy about that. It meant more Mommy and Chris time. He splashed around int he pool where he could touch then he went slowly farther out with the help of his mom at his side.

Liam went over to the kdis and asked them if they wanted to go outside and go for a walk. He loved being with his kids. THey remined him of there mother. They both lost thw woman but they still had each other. His daughter reminded him of her the most though. When she found out that her mother was a wonderful ballet dancer she soon became obsessed with ballet. She would practice as much as possible. He would always go to her recitles. She was also very smart like her mother. His son was smart as well. He was more like his father though. He loved to play sports. He was on almost every team in high school and his son learned all of them enjoying them all as well. He often put him in kids teams. Of course he played tennis the most because they had a tennis court but he loved them all.

While they where outside they walked past the pool and saw one of the other residents with her son playing in the pool. Zach jumped at his chance. "Daddy can i go play with the that boy?" He asked hopeful and his eyes pleading. Liam gave in and they went back to there room to change. He got Zach in his camo swim shorts and then put Maddie in her pink one peice. Last he put on his dark blue swim shorts.

When they got out there the other boy and hsi mother where still out there. "Would you mind if we joined you. My son wants to play with yours." He smield at her. She just smiled back a little as a yes. The bokys soon started playign in the shallow end together. Liam sat at the edge then got in so that he could swim with Maddie. She didn't have any friends yet so he would make sure she had fun as well. "I'm Liam by the way. This is Maddie and her brother is Zach." He smiled trying to make conversation. She seemed more interested in Maddie though. So he gave up and just stood close.

Scarny replied to Liam telling him her sons name then decided too play with his daughter. She was so cute. She didnt have a daughter so she envied him but then again felt sorry for him. She looked up and saw a girl comming towards them. Must be my new roommate. She thought. She smiled at her. She was much better talking to girls rather than guys. "Are you in room 10-5?" She asked. She was kind of hopeful because she wanted a friend but then again she wants so sure because she didn't know what the girl was like. She looked over at the boys real quick and called Chris over.

Liam looked behind him when the girl spoke to someone. He saw a girl in an american flag bikini holding a little girl in a swimsuit similar to Maddie's other than the frills coming towards them. He smiled and waved at her. "Hi I'm Liam." He said to her. He hoped she would talk to him more then that other girl and maybe would get the other girl to talk to him as well. He had to admit they where both pretty cute but he didn't think anything like that would happen. Then after the girl called her son he called Zach and Maddie over so he could keep a closer eye on them. The pool was big going from an inch to 5ft slowly descending downwards. He wouldn't take any chances even if they could swim.

Scarny smiled at her as she got out of the pool and dried off. "Yeah I am Scarny. Nice to meet you Willow. This is my son Chis." She lifted him up out of the water and dried him off as well. She went over and sat down next to Willow with Chris in her lap. She was glad at how friendly this girl seemed.

Liam smiled at sat at the edge of the pool watching the kids. "Yeah, Zach and Maddie. Nice meeting you both." He smiled at them both before turning to watch the kids again. He looked back so he could be in the conversation but would occasionally look back at the kids to make sure they were OK.

Delphina
First day at the mansion...

Although, she was glad there were other young parents like her, she was slightly worried. Carli was waddling alongside her, a smile painted on her face as the headed down to the pool deck. She had brought everything she had, which wasn't a lot, and had quickly finished unpacking. Delphina had decided she would let Carli swim around for a bit. Of course, she had her floaties. And Delphina had on her white swimsuit to get in the water too. Nothing like a swim on a hot day to cool you off.

As soon as they arrived, Delphina saw some other people and their kids. Immediately, Carli squealed. Being the quiet little girl she was, that surprised her. Must be that fact there is other kids her age... she thought and let out a squeak of alarm as her daughter tried to frag her over.

"Okay! Calm down love, I'm coming!" she told her and began to walk over. The 19 year old young lady waved in a friendly wave and gave a dazzling welcome smile. "Uh, hello, I'm Delphina, and this is Carli..." she introduced herself and her daughter, British accent a thick, but easily understandable layer over her soft musical voice. "...who was just itching to come a see new people apparently. she added on with a light laugh when Carli began tugging her arm, and quietly, barely able to be heard, "Momma! Momma!" and Delphina let out a sigh, blinking her clear, sparkling blue eyes and looking up at the others.

Liam smiled at the newcomer. "Hi, I'm Liam. I am going to say I am going to have a lot of friends that are girls here. Seems I am the only single teenage dad around here." He gave out a hearty but soft chuckle. He hoped there would be some other guys coming around soon. He might get lonely . . . or turn gay. He chuckled under his breath at his thought. He smiled back up at the girls still half in the pool. Then he pointed to the little girl all alone in the pool. "That's Madison or Maddie for short." Then he pointed at the little boy in the pool. "That's Zachary or Zach for short." He looked back at the moms giving another glowing smile.

"Come on please get back in the pool." Zach pestered to the little boy on his moms lap. "We are the only guys around here. We need to stick together. Please?" He begged again. The little boy looked at him then at his mother who smiled and nodded then got off his moms lap. "I love you, Mommy." Then the little boy looked at Liam. He couldn't help but wonder. His thought cam out of his mouth. "I wondered if that's what Daddy looked like." He didn't realize he had said it out loud until he looked at his mom and saw her in tears.

Scarny couldn't believe what her son had just said.. She quickly blurted out. "Hi, I'm Scarny and this is Chris." Then she picked up Chris and ran from the pool. She didn't know where to go so she headed for her favorite place. The stables. There is an empty stall she always goes in when she wants to cry. She pulled him in and sat down on the corner. Ignoring the hay sticking to her wet body. The tears started coming out. "Chris, remember what I told you. Daddy has been on his business trip for a long time. Mommy cant remember what he loos like sweaty." She hugged him closer recalling the only night she ever saw him and even though it was vivid she couldn't see what the masked mans face looked like.

When Chris had blurted out the question Maddie looked at her dad. She also put out her question not know it might upset anyone. "What did Mommy look like before she died?" She asked her father. Zach couldn't help but wonder also. Neither of them got to see there mother before she died. So they wher enatuarly curiouse and wanted to know. "Yeah Dad, what DID she look like?"

Scarny finally decided to emerge from the stall. Chris had fallen asleep in her arms and she carried him back upstairs. She put out a sideways glance at the two still in the pool laughing and having fun. She couldn't help but envy that fact that they could find the courage to flirt with each other. When she couldn't get over what had happened to her. She looked at her watch and saw it was getting late. She headed off faster inside. She wanted some time to sit on the balcony and play her guitar before work. Soon she had put him to bed and was playing. Before she knew it there was a knock on the door and it was time for work. "Thanks for coming to get him, Lane." She gave her work smile. A smile that could fool the world and get her nothing. The trio went downstairs and departed two to daycare and one to the restaurant.

Liam smiled at her. He saw the other girl look at her watch and hurry off. He checked the time and realized that it was getting dark. Time for him to get to work. Thankfully he had to leave his uniform at work. "I gotta go to work see ya later." He rushed off kids on his back. He dropped them off then ran across the lawn to the theater. He got in just before people started driving there cards into the large lawns.

Scarny finished early and headed off to the daycare. She said goodbye and waved at everyone as she left. Once she got the daycare she got Chris then went to her room. On her door she saw a note that said there was going to be an activity for the parents only. She sighed and saw there was no dress code. So she wanting not to be late still had her uniform on rushed back down stairs returned Chris and went out to the lawn where she found another note instructing her to stay until 12:00 which was in fifteen minutes. Then she would be given further instructions.

Liam got a note at work that he was supposed to go the the lawn and to wear what he was wearing. He did as he was told and proceeded to the lawn wearing his work cloths. He saw the girl that ran off earlier and stood next to her after reading the note. He had only encountered one of these since he had been here. It had been a family picnic that was in the middle of the day. He had heard rumors that the years would now be repeating and there would be a ball in due time.
