Hex smirked as she strutted down the sidewalks of Gotham, Darkedge trailing behind her, holding Hex's favorite teddy bear. She had a love/hate thing with the young Hexien. He was hesitant to do anything fun. And he always told her that she was immoral. Like she didn't already know that.

The young witch pushed past the crowds of people in front of her, ignoring the glares of the humans that found her rude. She was far more than that.
Darkedge grabbed her by the shoulder. "I don't want to do this." he stated, staring right into her pink eyes.
Hex rolled her eyes. "Hand me the bear." He glared at her, before slowly handing the brown toy over to his tormentor.
"Thank you." She said coldy, before slapping him on the back of the head and turning toward street and walking into it. The driver of an expensive black car, a man in his late 40's, hit the breaks to halt the car before it hit the young girl.

"The hell is wrong with you?!" He screamed at her, getting out of his car and slamming the door behind him. "You fucking want to die?! If you're going to commit suicide, do it where you can't damage someone else's property!" Hex turned to him, smiling slightly. "Shut up." she said, smiling. His face turned red with anger. "You little bitc-" The words stopped in his throat. along with all the air in his lungs. He grabbed at his throat, to discover a pink chain wrapped around it, constricting him. She then ran up to the man and knee'd him in his gut, letting him fall to the ground. Hex began to chant under her breath and the man was covered in a dense pink mist. When it cleared, there was nothing but a small raggedy doll.

The crowd broke into a panic, all running into different directions, except for Edge who stared at Hex in a disapproving manner. She rolled her eyes at him, picking up the doll of a man and setting it a sitting position on his car. "Happy?" she asked sharply. "Now do you want to help me or do you think that all the superhumans will just come to you by saying please?"

Darkedge sighed and took a deck of cards out of his pocket. "I guess I'll help."

Akira Autoro was walking along the streets of Gotham to get to his shift at Wayne Enterprises on time, whilst getting several texts on his phone from several of his friends and ex girlfriends. He sighed at the fact he can't hold together a relationship for a long period of time whilst shoving his hands into his pockets and kept walking towards the street he was supposed to get on to walk on to the Employee's entrance of his work.

It was then Akira heard screaming coming from around the corner. He looked to see people panicking and running from all directions. Realizing that there might be a situation nearby, Akira ran towards the nearest alley to get ready for another line of work.

"My Boss is gonna skin me alive if I'm late, but I gotta do what I gotta do." He muttered as he pulled out an amulet with the Japanese word for prayer on it and started to mutter words into it as if he was praying. As he does so the Amulet starts to glow with a technological glow as his clothes immediately turn into a modernized version of samurai armor with twin Katanas. "I'll just tell her that traffic held me up. Right now Ronin has some work to do."

With that Ronin ran back out to investigate the problem. He noticed two people, a young man and young woman, standing at the street and kept watching the civilians run by. He walked over towards them calmly hoping that they might not be the culprits behind this.

"Good morning folks." Ronin stated simply. "It looks like there's a bit of trouble brewing around the street. I do hope someone give me a nice explanation without me having to use brute force." He placed one of his hands against one of his katanas just in case violence started to erupt. "Because brute force is totally unnecessary."

Daisuke was just minding his own business in his apartment until he heard some havoc going on. He looked out of his window and saw two guys, one man and the other a small girl. Both seemed to be arguing, yet they seem to be working together.

"By Noah's Ark," he said, "those punks are taking my gig! I'll show 'em to mess with me!"

He ran outside, jumped at a nearby window, and landed in the streets. He began walking to where they were casually while knocking out anyone who came in contact with him, which was pretty much everyone else. When he was sure he was a few feet away, he transformed into his "armored" state. If they were going to mess around in his street, they might as well taste the steel in his hand. That was, of course, until some hero arrived.

"Let me guess, a new hero?" he thought, "More like some comic book maniac gone mad. I better straight out his brain with theirs. Yeah, nice plan."

"Hey you three!" he shouted, "Yeah, you! Get off my street you little punks! Unless ya wanna taste my foot!"

He pounced first at the hero. Eliminate the meddlers before the big bait. He didn't want anyone taking his fun from him, be them hero or villain.

An annoyed breath escaped Emily's lips. The night's luke warm air felt good against her chilled skin. The skyscraper seemed to be piercing the night sky. Another breath filled her lungs as she opened her bright blue eyes. The black dress she wore felt all to familiar against her. Her shoulder length black hair was hanging loosely there. The mask that covered the left part of her face was cold but luckily it stuck were it should when running or fighting.

She smirked slightly and started to run, the graceful movements felt natural to her. Even though before she had been clumsy and falling over her feet. She reached the edge of the building, leaping off of the edge at full sprint she propelled herself off of the edge and across the main street. Below her, she saw cars scoot passed her at amazing speed. She moved her hands into a claw form when she realized she wouldn't make it to the other side just by purely jumping.

The impact knocked the breath out of her as her gloved hands broke some bricks as she scooted down the side of the building a few feet. She came to a stop and sighed in relief. She started to re-climb upwards to the top of the building. The adrenalin pumping through her. After reaching the top of the roof she made her way to the side. Seeing some men just sitting in the alley, smoking something. She could easily guess what. A smirk played her lips. This was going to be fun. She ran and hit the other side of the building, scaling her way lower to he alley's ground. "I want some." Her sickly sweet voice rang the alley's walls. One of the boys jumped up in surprise, the other looked quite dazed. She noted that they were probably no older than herself. She landed with a silent click if her shoes on the ground, the smirk not leaving her ruby lips. The that had jumped up was staring wide eyed at her. The other boys were just hypnotized by her voice.

She had suspected that all them would, but this was much more fun. She was now only a few feet away from him, eyes compelled fixed on his. "You want to put your hand to your neck and squeeze." The boy had a alarmed look in his eyes as his hands moved upward to his neck. He put them both in a choking position and squeezed hard. His eyes grew wider and a malicious grin formed on The Siren's lips. "Not too hard. You want to suffer a bit." He let slightly go, as she turned her attention to the two completely under her finger.

"You two will go home, forget about all of this until tommorow at three. Then you will tell everyone that the Siren had a little fun with your friend." They both got up and left the alley, she returned her attention to the boy. "Looser. You want to suffer longer." She hissed and he loosened. He broke away from her spell for a moment and yelled, "HELP!" At full power. She slapped him across his face. "You want to be quiet." She hissed at him, a large red mark was on his cheek as he reput his hands to his neck.

Ronin looked to find some person in some metallic suit shouting at not only him but the two people he was trying to ask. "Last time I checked, the street is open to the public of Gotham." He stated only to watch as this person charged at him. He only had one choice in the matter as he activated his rocket boots to give him a burst of flight to get into the air and away from the hit range of his charge. "Don't make decide to send your ass to New Arkham mate."

In his mind Akira was not in a happy mood about having two problems come charging at him. "Talk about out of the frying pan and into the fire." he thought, it was then he looked where the metallic armored man came from and noticed knocked out civilians. "I also see you have a penchant for aggressiveness and unnecessary assault on the public. I can classify you as a loose cannon bakaero. You bakaero, I really hate dealing with two problems at once, two possible suspects and one angry idiot with no respect for the safety of the normal citizens, its guys like you that make me sick and mad." He angrily drew a katana and got into a ready stance.

Daisuke's anger kicked into overdrive. First, he had two villains to worry about. Then, he has to deal with some punk-ass hero now-it-all. Now he had two options: take out the hero by himself, or make someone else help him do the dirty work. Either of the two seemed risky, but he decided to check which one was best to use.

"Oh, yeah?!" Daisuke replied, kicking into the air and levitating near his opponent. He turned down to the other two villains, "Don't even THINK about doing anything stupid while I'm busy, 'cause you're next!!!"

He turned to his other opponent, "No one challenges Air-Runner...and lives, punk."

Daisuke turned his hands into claws and got into an offensive stance.

Thirteen and Deco

The streets of Gotham

Thirteen shifted her attention to the scene below her, observing the humans as they crowded around each other. She stood at the top of the largest skyscraper, concealed with Deco's concealment magic. The two of them, to any other person would appear as if they were not there. She was not familiar with any of the people below her, though names would ring a bell. "That one looks like a pain." Deco said from beside her, looking down at a pink haired female. Deco has been the only person she had any kind of real human interaction with, and he was also the one who had taught her most human things. Though she was half human, she was born only a year ago - in an underground facility. What worked in her favor was her ability to pick up knowledge immediately, like learning a language overnight, and the inability to forget. Deco shoved his has in his pockets, though the people beneath him would look like mere dots to most, his vision allowed him to see them as if they were right beneath him. "If the self-proclaimed heroes are stupid enough to turn against one another, then let them destroy each other." His tone was nearly monotone, he wasn't amused. He and Thirteen had come here after following the suspicious female and her accomplice, but hadn't expected so many others to throw themselves onto the scene first.

Thirteen tilted her had slightly, the two of them had chosen to observe for the time being, staying unseen on the ledge of the building. "Their actions are unfavorable to those around them." Thirteen said to Deco. "Civilian death probabilty should they get in the middle is quite high." Deco didn't respond, but instead stared off into oblivious with a bored expression on his face. "One is not human." Thirteen stated. "Oh, interesting." Deco responded, getting into a crouched position watching the two males face off against one another. "Now that doesn't solve our problem does it?" Thirteen looked down at him and back to the people beneath her, the one that wasn't human peaked her interest. However, that wasn't too important at the time being, right now, two villains as society called them - or possible villains were going to get away if she didn't stop them now. The fact the two heroes were facing off towards one another caused her to lose a lot of hope for this day and times society at large. They needed to get their priorities straight. However, she would not argue with this subject, she in fact did not like to work with others, teams were beyond her - Deco was the only person she could fight beside. "Lets go."

The two were then teleported to the street below, a small distance from the others. At this moment, the two were made visable. While neither of them had particular super hero costumes, Thirteen wore a decorative outfit, one of which she would change on occasion. While Deco, just wore a black jacket, white tank top and black jeans with various chains. "You two are in the way." Deco said to the guys in front of them. "Go be idiotic elsewhere." somehow he said this with a straight face. "Thirteen's eyes wandered over to the pink haired girl, her left arm turning into a thin sword and her right into a large one - which looked impossible for her to manage. "I have no interest in anyone but you."

"Just remember this then Air-Runner, you decided to be a little baka about this whole thing." Ronin stated. With that Ronin flew forward to give him a square punch to the Air-Runner's face in attempt to send him flying, when all of a sudden his left wrist then started to flash and blare at him.

"My five minute warning! Shoot!" he muttered to himself. "Gotta jet once I whack this guy's head into gear." As he said this he then noticed that there were a few other people coming in to investigate the problem. "Or I can just jet now, four's something but six is definitely a crowd in my book."

With that he looked at Air-Runner and simply stated. "We'll fight each other another time. Just remember Air-Runner, don't barrel into trouble while I'm around. I fully intend to pick up where the Justice League left off and I don't want a berserk street fighter hurting any innocent people on the sidelines. I have enough on my plate as it is."

Ronin then flew in the direction of Wayne Enterprises and landed in an alley to change into his normal clothing and return to rushing to work as Akira Autoro. "I better hurry before my boss decides to tan my hide inside out!" he muttered before running to the employee's entrance as fast as he could.

"Coward..." Daisuke snarled, "...there is no Justice League. There never is and there never was!!! There are no such things as 'Heroes' in this world, I thought you figured that out..."

Air-Runner descended to where there are four strangers. The two new ones seemed friendly, the others, not. Either of the two seemed interesting enough to make him consider joining them. But he had no time for joining sides. He still had some anger left in him that he wanted to unleash, but both sides seemed...hostile. It would be fun.

"Well," Air-Runner said, still mad, "what are you doing here?!"

Juilet raced towards the elevator as the big gold door sealed shut. "Damn it" She muttered to herself her hair falling out of the messy pony tail she threw it up in, her lab coat looked like she got in a fight with a painter's smock and the smock won. She sighed looking at her watching pressing the button for the Elevator again. She ran her finger of the WE on the door losing herself in thought. She glanced over clearing her throat as a young guy came barreling towards her. She tossed him a smile "I guess I am not the only white rabbit today then?" She flushed at herself pressing the button a few more times. She quickly found herself going over her points she hated having to come to the Wayne building to ask for grants to keep working. As the door open she slipped in pressing the top floor pressing her back to the wall.

Hex and Edge watched silently as the two "heroes" began arguing. The witch rolled her eyes and looked over at Edge.
"Don't they know that we're the bad guys?" She asked, obviously annoyed. Edge just shrugged his shoulders, but his attention was caught by the pink haired girl and her dark companion.
It was like looking into some strange mirror and that made Hex laugh.

"I think their jacking our style, Edge." She said, chuckling madly. But when the girl's arms turned into swords, the witch stopped. "Edge, I think we found a power source."
Out of the corner of her eye she saw him nod at her. One of the heroes left, but the other stayed. "One, two, three, four..." Hex counted. She looked over to Air-Runner and grimanced. "Five. I just hate odd numbers." She lifted her hand to him and sent out a powerful blast of pink energy, sending him tumbling into an alley behind him.

She turned her attention back to the couple in front of her. "That's very flattering." she said smiling. "Did, you hear Edge? She's only interested in me."
She snapped her head back to the girl. "I'm sorry, Hun, but I don't swing that way. But you can have my friend, Edge. Just a warning, he likes to bite."
Edge opened his mouth to reveal his canines, long and sharp. He took out his deck of cards and selected two that he thought would suit a battle like this. He dropped them on the ground and put his deck away. A large wolf jumped out of one of the cards, with long black fur and eyes that glowed with an unearthly fire. It opened it's mouth to snarl and molten lava dripped onto the floor like saliva. A white mist leaked from the other card and the the upper body of a woman was visable. She was young and pale, with long fair hair. She wore a grey gown that was tattered and ripped. Her silver eyes stared out at the young man.
"Sorry." Darkedge said to the other boy. "Attack." His Hellhound leaped at the boy, while the woman stayed back to see what would happen.

Hex snapped her fingers and a pink machine gun formed in her hand. She threw it up in the air, where it floated and aimed itself at the strange girl.
"Bang Bang." Hex said and made a motion with her hand, as if she was pulling the trigger of the gun, which sent out a spray of bullets in the girl's direction.

Akira looked at the young woman and flashed a quick grin and a nod as he ran to another elevator and hit the button for the department he worked in, manufacturing and testing technology. He hoped he wasn't late for work when he got there as he put his reading glasses on. "I'll just tell the boss I was plain and simply in a bit of traffic due to the disturbance in the city with those crazies with the magic and the berserk man in the metal outfit." he then kept thinking to himself on what he said to Air-Runner.

"Maybe I was a bit dreaming the impossible dream there." He said to himself as the elevator opened and he heard one simple sentence that he loathed very dearly in all his life.

"Autoro! You're late again!" came the screeching voice of his supervisor. Akira slowly frowned as he walked to his station and gave his good morning to his general co-workers.

"Sorry I'm late boss, some crazy stuff happening downtown sorta jammed up the traffic and I had to take another route in a hurry." he called out as he then started to work on one of the department's ambitious projects whilst he kept his eye out for things that he could use for when he's out and about as Ronin. "Ah, I love work sometimes."

"Ungh..." Daisuke said, "...d-damn..."

He then saw that the two pairs were fighting each other, and the first ones he saw seemed to attack.

"Don't they know that we're the bad guys?" That got stuck in his thoughts. Not one moment has he considered being a hero, nor a villain. This insulted him. They were wrecking havoc in a city with all hopes lost. He knew that he had to choose sides, but which? His power was enough to scare both good and evil, but what did it do good to him?

"Both." he told himself, feeling energized and powerful again. "Five. I just hate odd numbers." That line hit his thoughts, like the last time. "Well then," Daisuke said, "I guess you have to deal with it..."

Thirteen didn't quite understand what the girl had said, a blank expression remained on her face, though she heard Deco snicker beside her. "Swing what way?" She had never heard this before, and it had went completely over her head. And her colleague liked to bite? That was hardly a good fighting technique, she wondered why someone would bite another person. The boy had long and sharp canine teeth, which she examined for a moment, as if taking interest. He then took our what looked like playing cards and lay two upon the ground, but up from them, two creatures sprung - one which reflected the appearance of some kind of human. Mmmm, interesting. Deco thought to himself. I've never quite seen that before, but how are you without your cards? Thirteen watched the wolf appear from out of the card, wolves were beautiful creatures, she had a pained expression on her face for a split second. However, most wolves she had ever came across didn't have lava saliva. Deco has briefly heard a sorry from the boy before he sicked his creature at him. No you're not, he thought to himself. The wolf then jumped at him and Deco held out his hand, making the wolf be knocked back and roll over a few times due to the transparent force field. It seemed that concurrently, Thirteen was also attacked.

She looked at the bullets which came towards her, but before they hit her, they were pulled to the ground, as was the floating weapon itself. The weapon then seemed to slowly destroy itself becoming a contorted piece of metal. The wolf was what she had to worry about now, it came charging back at Deco, until it was pulled into the air and float their for a moment. Gravity then pulled him in two opposite directions, up and down. He whined loudly, making that expression appear on her face again, and lava dropped from the air landing in front of her. "I don't like...hurting your creature." she said. "Why are you here? Why do you want a power source? I will not let you harm the innocent people here, it's pathetic of you to attack the defenseless." Deco sighed, power source, they wanted a power source. Nothing good could come from that. He was immediately annoyed by the people in front of him. His eyes wandered to the pink haired girl, the boy obviously did whatever she told him. Therefor the girl was the most threat, and the girl seemed to have the need to match herself with Thirteen and himself with Mr. card trick over there. He felt bad for Thirteen, she hated hurting innocent creatures, though to him that thing was more of a monster and less than innocent. At the same time, it did have a master that controlled it.

Darkedge watched in horror as his Hellhound cried in the air. Darkedge rushed to grab his card and held it up, screaming "Return Hellhound!"
A fiery mist left the hound's body and flew into the card, reducing it's former husk to nothing but a puddle of molten lava. Edge put the card away and glared at the couple in front of them.
"You idiot!" Hex screamed at him. "Why'd you bring him back already?!" Darkedge sent a sharp look at his companion. "He was in pain, you stupid bitch!"

Hex turned to him with her jaw dropped. He face twisted into a mask of rage. "Did you just call me that? You've spent to much time here, with these human rats."
'Now isn't the time to handle that idiot.' she thought. She snapped her neck towards her enemy, staring at the twisted piece of metal on the ground that used to be Hex's gun.
"Well, you're no helpless lamb are you? But then again the sword should have given that away." She then rushed the girl at superhuman speed and sent several pink energy bolts in the girl's direction. "It's not pointless to attack the weak! It's all in fun. And attacking them brought some nice batteries to us!" She did a quick cartwheel to the side, sending another energy blast toward her. The Hexien then used her telekinesis to push the girl back a few feet. "You seem new to the world Sweetheart. Tell you what. Tell me what you two are and I'll tell you what we are. A simple exchange of information. A question for a question."

Edge turned his attention back to the boy in front of him, his anger at Hex practically seeping out of him.
He heard the hero from before getting up after Hex had sent him flying. Edge didn't have time for someone without organic power.
"Brenna my dear." Edge called, speaking to the woman he summoned. "Will you be so kind to take care of the human over there?"
She nodded and floated over to Air-Runner.

Edge grimanced at the boy in front of him, a sythe forming in his hand. He knew that the boy had some sort of force field around him. A few wacks with this sythe should fix that.
The Hexien flew over to the boy and slammed the sythe right down. The invisible field was now somewhat visable, as Edge's sythe slightly punctured it and the blade glowed with a green hue, slowly absorbing the field's energy.

The spirit that Edge summoned, Brenna, made her way to Air-Runner. The mist surrounding her became heavier, so the man couldn't see anything but the strange feminine being in front of him. Her mouth did not open, but her sweet whispers seemed into his mind.
'Daisuke Katayanagi. 21 years old. One whose flesh is bound with metal.' The shound of chimes ringed all around them. 'Do you not tire of fighting? Tire of settling your disputes with violence. Do you think the God you trust so much would appeciate you harming his other children?' A feeling of relaxation washed over everyone in the mist. 'You should go to sleep, Daisuke. Put down your weapons and just rest for a moment.'

Akira was hard at work on one of the many prototypes of the numerous projects at the department, tinkering and adjusting parts as described in small blueprints upon his desk. "This is where the fun begins." he muttered as he worked and listened to the noises of the test department next door testing out the projects that he and other co-workers took pride in building.

Akira sighed as he then finished his part in the project and handed off the work to a member of his team to double check. That gave him a few minutes of a break time before the next project was handed to him so he simply sat in thought looking at spare parts on his desk and wondered what to do with them.

"Well, I could always try to use some of these to upgrade the boots to make them more efficient in flying, or, make a few other knick knacks for investigations that may require to go into another environment like per say, underwater?" He thought, "Or what if I had to go to a reasonably cold environment..? Oh no no no that'll probably never happen unless I suddenly get fired from my job. But I like my job, and I like my pain in the butt boss, I just wonder sometimes about who was the person who decided to put Wayne Enterprises back into business..."

As his thoughts drifted from planning out things to the life he lead nowadays, he pondered about the fact that in both his work and his other job as Ronin, he was alone. That Air Runner dude gave him a hard time about being a hero, he actually said that heroes aren't real.

"That dude didn't grow up in Metropolis like I did." he said to himself before resuming a possible crucial thought. "I can't just keep up with fighting crime and other threats on my own... I need a helping hand."

Put down your weapons and just rest for a moment.'

He thought about it as she said. He was born and raised in the harshest part of the world. He trusted himself from the day he gained his own mind. He counted on no one, loved no one, cared for no one, and received passion and caring from no one. His life was filled with misery, and fighting was his only release of these thoughts. Plus, if there was anything he would hate in this world, it would be someone using his beliefs against him.

"If you know that much about me, then you would know this," Daisuke said, his fury building up, "I trust only two people; one is God (he turns his hands into claws), the other one ain't you..."

He slashed the woman in front of him, and that's where it hit him. While he was escaping, he remembered similar beings facing him, and they worked for beings called "Hexians." He knew it right away, whoever turned him into thismonster he was now, whoever is tricking him again, whoever is fighting him, they were Hexians. He had plenty of experiences with them.

"I...don't...need...to...REST!!!" he roared, constantly hitting her with his claws. He tried to focus on a memory, one that was powerful enough to make him focus his energies on doing good. He did it before, he could do it again, "My flesh was not bound with metal...until YOUR people did this to me!!!"

It was quiet and peaceful for a short moment until she came running into the alleys, holding something close to her chest. She was smiling insanely as she kept running, turning in different directions, then she slowed down and stopped. Aura leaned against the wall and giggled as she looked at the huge ice blue diamond she stole from Anna's Jewelry store. It was as big as a dinner plate and held immense power, but she only stole it because of how shiny it was. She walked over to an old wooden door and opened it, going inside and closing the door behind her. Her home was an abandoned old building, consisting of an old mattress, a thick warm old blanket and some books laying around. It wasn't much but she called it home and it was all she needed. She sat down on the mattress, setting the diamond next to her and picked up a book with the title 'IT' on the front. She sighed happily as she leaned back and opened the book, starting on chapter one, but looked out the window for a moment. "That was an easy steal. I'm surprised there wasn't that many people to kill." Aura smirked as she remembered the looks on the faces of the people she mercilessly slaughtered, gutting them and cutting them up, and laughing as she did it.
