Alejandra is the definition of underestimation. Her regal and intimidating features, do play some part in her personality, but underneath she is a little spitfire. She is daring, bold, passionate, but definitely someone who's hard to ignore. Alejandra is a very outspoken individual. She is not afraid to speak her mind no matter what the occasion is. Some really hate her for being a little too blunt, but some truly appreciate it.
She has always been a bit quirky, but deep down is a gentle soul. She is very goal-oriented and when she knows what she want, she wont let anyone stop her from achieving her goal. Whether that be through subtle charm, or cutthroat competition. Even though she has qualities of a hot-head, she truly has a mothering way of approaching things. She will always be there to comfort others in their time of need and a very supportive presence to those around her.
Alejandra has never been approached romantically ever, and she likes to think that they're just intimidated by her spunky personality. While she is a social butterfly, you can catch her calmly singing to herself while practicing, she can always be found working (workaholic). Negativity has always had a strange affect on Alejandra as well. It's almost as if bad attitudes pollute her strong character.
Even with her small stature she is not a woman that you can forget. Allie will have you listening to every word she says in a matter of seconds, she has one hell of a bark and bite. A little intimidating but all in good nature. Her brother loves to tease her about her shorter height, and that just sets her aflame, it really doesn't take much to get her going. She''s very loyal to her friends, and backstabbing is one of her least favorite things. She'll stick with her best friends until the day they die and stand up for them in any situation.
When she was thirteen she and her brother Mateo where out on the streets of New York, when they took a wrong turn down a street and ended up in the wrong place at the wrong time. Before she knew it there were multiple guns pointed at both her and her brother demanding everything that they had on them to be turned over. Her brother promptly refused, threatening them with the police and it didn't take long for the ordeal to turn violent. The men fired off several shots in their direction and Alejandra let out a rather shocking scream in fear. Her body felt odd, like she had been going a hundred miles an hour and suddenly just stopped. When she opened her eyes everything around her was frozen in place, except her. The three bullets were inches from her and her brother's faces, just frozen in the air. Unthinkingly, she pushed her brother out of the way and everything seemed to speed back up again the bullets flying past them and into the brick wall behind them.
Her and her brother refused to talk about the whole ordeal until weeks later when she came clean to her parents about the incident and what had happened. Surprisingly, Alejandra wasn't the only one with an ability, after she confessed Mateo claimed that he could hear the thoughts of people around him. Seeing that her father was high up he had a few connections, and contacted the best in the business. After several doctor visits, they concluded that the children were in fact mutants. Their last doctor recommended Xavier's and after weeks of contemplating their father decided the best option for them would be to attend the academy, seeing as how it would be too far from where the family lived. Mateo and Allie immediately adjusted into the life of mutant hood, and have been at the academy ever since.
