Setting
Just your average inn. It started just a little bit after the war against the Lunar Army and the Rebellion. It's staff are Carlotta: The Innkeeper, Karyl and Mercer: both bartenders, and Yisif: the inn's house-cleaner.

Sitting at the edge of the bar in my fine clothing, I leaned around to see have heavy everyone's pockets were hanging. Most of the people here were light on coin and would often spend it all on drinking, but there was a particular man at the table on the other side of me that left his coin purse outside of his pocket. It was quite a large sum, but I didn't need to go for it so soon. The guard at the doors was spying on everyone in the room, me especially. I ordered another round of mead and the bartender brought me another bottle.
*One of the guards at the gate stated, "Alright there... Oh my. Is it true? The eater of souls?" The other guard shouted back to the first guard, "It doesn't matter, he can come into the city if he would like."*
*Most of the guards of the guards kept their eyes on Nightmare, holding their swords in hand and staring at him making sure to keep the city safe. Even though most of them were shaking in their boots. I still stayed at the bar and looked out of the window, most of the people leaving at the sight of him including the rich man exiting his table with his sack of gold coins. The bar was mostly clear, me still taking in a bit of my drink and I walked to the window to see the man walking into his apartment building. The man in armor was interesting to me, but the wary guards were sure going to make my job difficult.
*Feeling parched, I walk to the bar. I sit adjacent to Dak. The bartender hands me a free drink out of fear.*
I slurred the liquid around in my bottle as the bartender rushes out of the bar, not taking anymore of the circumstances and even left the bar unlocked. I chuckled a bit and shook my head, staring over at the bag of gold under the counter and then looking over at Nightmare, stating, "The Azure Knight... I must say, I'm impressed." I took a bit of my drink and coughed slightly.
"Most people are not impressed. They see me as a monster...some for my actions...some for my appearance." *I look at my deformed arm.*
"Well causing mass destruction and take the power of a possessed sword might do that to you. But either way, I've seen many things of your appearance. I don't mind." *I looked over at his arm and furrow my brow a bit.* "Anyway, what brought you to Pavis?" *I slid my arm into my coat, just in case he was to jump on me.
"I've heard of this city. It's reputation is not very clean from what I understand. I wanted to see if it was true."
I took in a breath a slammed down the rest of my mead, burping a bit as I threw the glass on the wall and stared outside, making sure that there weren't any guards watching. I hopped over the counter and slipped the bag of gold into my fine clothes. As I did so, I looked up at Nightmare and stared. "Y'know, for an eater of souls, you seem more chaotic than your putting on. I mean, just to come here for the dirt of the city..." I explained
