Introduction

Glorantha is filled with creatures of every kind. Humans, Elfs, Goblins, Dwarfs, Humanoid Salamanders, Giant Eels... it'd be easier to say what animals and plants aren't in Glorantha. Anyway, the location that you are heading is the ghetto of New Pavis, a city filled with its fishing docks and heinous crimes. Practically everyone is at each other's throats, even the children are said to have stolen the coinage from a wanderer's purse. Your job as a patron to this RP is with the Thieves Guild, joining or resisting, depending on which preference you have. Either way, you've received a bounty letter from the High King a few Holds back, you are to search for a Dak'nahlan to get in close with him and either report him and receive 20 lunars or join him (ditch the bounty). If you do join him, he will lead you from there to receive some later news on small jobs. But, if you try to capture him, you risk the leader of the night taking your life.

Toggle Rules

1: You are not God. You won't be able to ignore a slit to your throat. You cannot steal everything in a house without getting caught. And you won't be able to haggle a strip of leather to the price of a new horse.
2: If you do commit crimes, be descriptive. If you aren't specific enough with your crime, the GM might not know how the victim should react to the crime.
3: Your actions will eventually add up and you will get less and less of a chance to slip out of a guard's arrest.
4: Use common sense with your killing/stealing/lockpicking/etc. There will always be a way for you to get caught if you aren't too careful.
5: The adventure will require a deal of patience, so you may not be able to act on a subject after each post. This GM isn't the best typist in the world.
6: This RP's currency is lunars. 10 lunars is enough to feed you for six months.

Sitting at the edge of the bar in my fine clothing, I leaned around to see have heavy everyone's pockets were hanging. Most of the people here were light on coin and would often spend it all on drinking, but there was a particular man at the table on the other side of me that left his coin purse outside of his pocket. It was quite a large sum, but I didn't need to go for it so soon. The guard at the doors was spying on everyone in the room, me especially. I ordered another round of mead and the bartender brought me another bottle.

*Most of the guards of the guards kept their eyes on Nightmare, holding their swords in hand and staring at him making sure to keep the city safe. Even though most of them were shaking in their boots. I still stayed at the bar and looked out of the window, most of the people leaving at the sight of him including the rich man exiting his table with his sack of gold coins. The bar was mostly clear, me still taking in a bit of my drink and I walked to the window to see the man walking into his apartment building. The man in armor was interesting to me, but the wary guards were sure going to make my job difficult.

I took a bit of my drink and coughed slightly.
