The apartment block is very old and actually used to be a warehouse, but it has been converted into apartments. Each apartment is very large with many windows, but has no walls (unless you count some wooden panels that have been put up) and very old appliances (which boarder on ancient). Depending on the tenants, the place can look anywhere from run down and depressing to very interesting and full of character. It's hot in the summer and freezing in the winter, but the rent is cheap and it's in a decent location (as far as Brooklyn is concerned).

He smiled at Clara's enthusiasm, she would pretty fun to be around during one of his classes. Looking past Clara for a moment, John finally noticed the dispersing crowd. The night sky was beginning to get dark, and people were starting to head in back inside their apartments.
"Um, yeah sure." He smiled shyly and Clara when she offered to give him her cell phone number. He reached into his jean pocket and pulled out his phone as well. He quickly found his contacts on the phone, and began to create a new one. He typed in 'Clara', and looked up patiently ask he waited for her number. "I'll text you tomorrow around 3 or 4 to let you know," He said, referring to the job openings he mentioned earlier.

The rooftop was a bit more crowded than what Audrey had expected, but she followed behind her new roommate in good spirits as she glanced around the people chatting around roof. The smell of food cooking from the grill lured her to look in the direction of the food, and she glanced over to the guy who stood it with a red headed girl around her age. She glanced over to the entrance, where a brown haired girl was talking to a Filipino looking guy in sweatpants and a shirt. A couple of other people were scattered as well, laughing and smiling as they enjoyed each otherβs company.
She followed Lee to the table where the food was laid out, and she took the cocktail-in-a-can Lee had offered her. "Strawberry, please." Audrey told her and thanked her as she took the can. She leaned on the railings of the roof beside Lee, peering over the view of the city. It was very pretty, she thought to herself, and glanced to the large overhead buildings that were lit up with lights past the street cars.
"Landlord?" Audrey repeated, still distracted from the scenery, "Oh, yeah of course." She corrected herself quickly, and looked over to where Lee was pointing. She wondered what he would look like, whether he would be quite old or a man in his middle ages. Following Lee's hand, she looked for him.

"Yo Jerry," She called again, this time she pulled her bun and let her hair fall. It had become wavy but still had it's bounce and shine. She can only thank the expensive hair products she use courtesy of her job.
"Jerry dear, I need you to meet someone," She called for the third time, turned to Audrey and smiled. She was almost half way through her cocktail and was ready to finish another.
Lee's determined to enjoy and get drunk after a whole day at work. A whole day of stress with her boss and what had happened earlier in the hotel's powder room can pretty much drain Lee of her life. She finished the rest of the cocktail in one swig and grabbed another one. She opened the tab and sipped a mouthful, gave out a deep breath and swayed with the music.

Jerry still hadn't come around, and Audrey nudged her friend, "Any cute guys?" She suggested, grinning widely under the soft moonlight. Finishing up the chips cupped in her hand, she reached for another cocktail.

Clara waited for John to be ready for her before she began spitting out numbers at him. Once he was ready she gave it to him and nodded when he mentioned texting her about the job. βThanks again. Iβm really glad I met you.β She smiled at him, hoping he understood how much his help and friendship was meaning to her. And, while she was physically attracted to him, it wasnβt like she expected him to feel the same way, so friendship was the best she was expecting from him.
βWell I should get going.β She said to John as she turned to head toward the stairs. βIβm looking forward to tomorrow.β Clara smiled quickly before leaving, throwing a quick wave at Lee before she left.
Once she was outside the building, she headed back toward the motel sheβd been staying at, walking very quickly as to avoid anyone on the street after dark.

Turning away when Clara left, John finally made way to the food. The soothing smell of food grilling by the burner caused his stomach to rumble, and he stuffed a couple of chips into his mouth before reaching for something to drink. The night was already starting to chill, and he wondered what time he should be heading back downstairs. He peered over the ledge of the roof, trying to see if he could spot Clara walking by one of the sidewalks. He spotted her crossing one of the crosswalks briefly, turning his attention away as he took a sip of his drink again.

Bella managed to smile at Orlando as he spoke, though the smile didnβt quite reach her eyes. She felt disappointed that he had a child, though she knew it was rude and selfish to think like that, and played with the elegant ring on her right hand nervously as she usually did.
Shifting the boy in his lap so he was cradled against his chest, Orlando prepared himself to spill his story to the beautiful woman in front of him who seemed to only get more uncomfortable as the minutes ticked by. βAs soon as heβs asleep, Iβd like to explain; if youβll let me, that is.β He whispered as he saw his sonsβ eyes start to droop.
Bella nodding mutely, tugging on the hem of her suddenly too short feeling dress, and watched as Orlandoβs adorable son drifted off in his arms. He really was a darling child with the features of his father.
Letting out a deep sigh, Orlando readied himself to relive his past for a few minutes. βWhen I was in high-school, Iβd been irresponsible. Davidβs mother didnβt want him and I wasnβt willing to put him up for adoption so I took custody of him. I havenβt seen his mother since she left David with me. I know this is some deep stuff to learn about someone, especially after we just met, but I guess it had to come out sometime.β Though the story was rushed and details were left out, it felt good to finally tell someone. He swallowed hard as he looked up at Bella for the first time since heβd started speaking, preparing himself for her reaction.
Bella managed to look at him while he was telling the story and felt her heart soften at his words. When he looked up at her she reached over and laid a hand on his forearm in a caring and gentle way, βI canβt say I understand or that I know what youβve been throughβ¦β She began quietly, knowing that Orlando probably didnβt want his history broadcast to the entire party, βBecause I was really the opposite in highschool, but I can say that I think you are a wonderful person and itβs obvious you are a great father, Orlando.β Bella said, looking at Orlando with wide cool blue eyes, βEveryone has past.β She added, almost to herself than to him, as she continued to play with the pearl and diamond ring on her hand.

Jerry thought he hear someone calling him through the crowd of people, though the thumping of the music was making it hard to locate where the voice was coming from. The third time the person called, however, he managed to locate them.
βHey Lee!β He called to her, raising one hand to wave kindly towards her. Lee was one of his most respectful tenants and always kept things pristine, βIβll be right there!β He called, then looked back to Richard as if to make sure he had no more questions before he went to speak to Lee.

Just then Audrey asked her a question while popping some chips in her mouth, "Any cute guys?"
She raised an eyebrow, not because she was surprised of the question but because she knew she barely know any of her neighbors.
"You know what? I'm not really sure. I don't often interact with people. I'm barely inside my apartment, let alone be mingling with them." She sighed. A bit of ashamed to be telling the truth.
"But we can always meet new people right?" She winked at Audrey and let out a giggle.

He got butterflies in his stomach as he waited for her reply. It was like he was back in high school before his whole life changed and he was waiting to find out if the girl he liked liked him back. It was sightly embarrassing. He really hoped Bella would say yes, but he completely understood if she said no. It was a big commitment even just to go out with someone who had a kid, and he'd heard everything from blunt "No." to the biggest lie ever as an excuse, so he was prepared for anything.
Off to the side, Orlando spotted a few very attractive girls laughing together and wish he could be as carefree as they were. He shifted David in his arms as he waited for Bella's answer.

Lee turned and stared at Audrey, she was actually lost for words, "Well-" She paused then she finally conjured a reply "If you consider a hi, hello, good morning and a few holiday greetings as talking then I do talk to them- occasionally" She admitted then laughed.
The night air was starting to grow more chilly than ever. Couples were hugging each other as the singles grouped and huddled around Riley's grill.
"Well I talk to Jerry every time he comes to take the rent and I have to request a few fixing jobs. Oh wait, I had a full conversation with one previous tenant. It was more of a fight actually. I saw him kicking a cat and I had to defend the poor thing. Jerry kicked him out coz he was late for 5 months in rent. Everyone was happy watching him go." She grabbed a few chips from Audrey's hand and munched.
"Don't worry were bound to get a good catch." Lee said half heartedly.
She couldn't help but hear the red headed girl talk about needing a place to stay. "I'm sorry to be eavesdropping, but maybe Jerry can help." She faced Riley and the girl.
"Hey Lee," Her chef neighbor recognized her presence and smiled.
"Hi Riley, so have you guys talked to Jerry?" She asked and then remembered Audrey was behind her. "By the way, this is my new roommate. Her name's Audrey," She linked her arm to Audrey's and introduced her. "This is Riley and this is his friend."
~~~~~~~~~~
"Like - I think they're renovating or something, so all of us tenants have to scat. It's not that I'm behind with the rent or something. But I do need somewhere in a hurry..."
Sian shared as Riley turned the last batch of the chops. He was about to tell her about the free space in the complex when one of his floor neighbor walked over and spoke.
"I'm sorry to be eavesdropping, but maybe Jerry can help." She looked nice even though it's already been a day of tiring work.
"Hey Lee," He said hi and nodded at her words.
"Hi Riley, so have you guys talked to Jerry?" She asked and then remembered Audrey was behind her. "By the way, this is my new roommate. Her name's Audrey," She linked her arm to Audrey's and introduced her. "This is Riley and this is his friend."
"Hi," He offered his hand for a shake towards the girl called Audrey. "And she's Sian. She's trying to look for a space and Jerry hasn't approached us just yet. Chops?" He sticked his cooking fork unto the meat and placed a couple into two paper plates for the two girls.
"Audrey," She smiled to him, meeting eyes with him briefly. He had soft hazel eyes, and introduced her to the red headed girl as well. She took the boy's hand, and nodded over to the girl. "It's nice to meet you." She said kindly, wondering if the two were together. She looked past them for a moment, to the guy Lee had called Jerry. He must be pretty busy, which Audrey didn't mind.
"What floor do you guys live on?" She tried to make conversation, and looked to the both of them. She took the plate of chops Riley had offered her, "Thanks." She told him, careful to slice a peice from the plate.
Shan approached the group from behind. He sensed the party was breaking up, and wondered if he wanted to live here or not. Well, if he waited much longer the decision would be taken out of his hands. And this place seemed the only game in town.
"Urm - while we're discussing accommodation," he broke in "The name's Shan Finnegan. And I'm looking for a place to stay too. I wonder if -" He stopped, and his mouth fell open at the sight of Lee. He blinked once, twice. "Urm - Les Sylphides! I'm sure I saw you in Les Sylphides... right?"
"That's amazing," She commented on Riley's food.
"It's so nice to meet you Lee, and - Audrey, was it? I don't exactly live here yet, Lee - but I'm hoping to." Sian politely said and turned to Riley. "Especially if it means more of Riley's cooking!"
"I definitely agree," Lee nodded and took another bite when a guy with a brown hair suddenly spoke from behind her.
"Urm - while we're discussing accommodation," he broke in "The name's Shan Finnegan. And I'm looking for a place to stay too. I wonder if -"
He stopped, and his mouth fell open at the sight of Lee. He blinked once, twice. "Urm - Les Sylphides! I'm sure I saw you in Les Sylphides... right?"
Lee turned to see that he was referring to her. "I- uh- well it was a bit role. Not a biggie," She was blushing. Lee never thought someone would actually recognize her off stage. It was one of those ballet operas she luckily got in. She couldn't care less if she didn't have a solo or if she was stuck wearing all white and had to practice for months for 20 minute stage opportunity. It was one of those Russian musicals she couldn't quiet understand but when the music started playing, she knew she belonged.
In fact, a lot of people who went for auditions were either full blooded Russians or part Russians. They talked so fast that she wasn't able to catch or understood one word they've said. It was really hard for Lee to comply during rehearsals because she was one of the few who only spoke English. Their trainer and leads often conversed in the foreign language. She was close to giving up if not for her mother's caring words- via an overseas phone call.
"Are you looking for a place to stay as well?" She asked Shan and looked at Audrey, giving her a look as if saying. "here's-one-of-the-guys-you'd-want-to-meet" and gave her friend a wink and a smile when Shan wasn't looking.
"I'm sorry, so silly of me. I'm Lee by the way," She offered him a hand for a shake.
He was seeing her close-up now and liking what he saw. The fact that she was blushing furiously helped, making her look vulnerable and in need of protection. It added to her charm.
"Yes, I know Rasnikovala was in the lead," he admitted. "But you got a program credit." He was angry with himself that he couldn't recall her stage name. Jolly something? Jolessa? Jollina? Joliesse, he remembered, and then realized with a start he'd said it out loud. His heart sank a little... Obviously she'd find it a bit creepy that he remembered. "It's just that... well, I heard some of the people sitting behind me saying how well you danced, so I checked your name."
It struck Shan that his previous lukewarm feelings about living here had vanished. If this girl lived here, he wanted to as well. He wanted - assuming that he hadn't already blown it by looking like a stalker - to get to know her better.
*********************
"So, does Riley cook every week?" Sian asked. She was getting nervous again, as she always did when in conversations. It was only on the catwalk she could manage her "I'm the greatest" persona. She tugged at her ever-rising jeans again. She wanted to ask if the gorgeous Australian guy would be around too, but realized it made her look like some desperate, man-hungry wallflower - which she was, of course, but she preferred it not to be known. She saw that the girl called Lee had colored up at something the brown-haired guy had said, and felt a little better. It wasn't quite so bad when you weren't the only one who had to cope with continually blushing-up at inconvenient moments. She wondered if Lee found it as embarrassing as she did! "Like - I think it would be great to live here anyway. But food like this is a definite bonus!"
"Well that's my full name. Lee's just a nickname," She explained as she set down the finished plate of food. "I wonder where's Jerry? I've been calling him for a few times already," She tried to shift the topic away from her and faced Audrey.
She was hoping Shan would give all his attention towards her friend, she currently has no time for guys right now. With her career and problems going on, a boyfriend is last on her list.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Gee, thanks guys. It's just the meat was fresh. I only did a little spicing and marination. Anyway it's nice to hear a lot of you are planning to move in. By the way Audrey let me welcome you officially into the complex." He gave her a smithened smile. Before wondering where his roommate and good buddy could possibly be.

Bella looked deeply into Orlando's warm dark eyes, considering his question. She had come to New York to explore a career as a musician, have some fun, and meet new people... dating a man with a child had not been part of her plan, but she supposed that if she had come this far then it really didn't matter. She only had a limited amount of time before her fun would be over anyways, so why not spend it with someone who actually interested her for more than a fleeting glance? She had met many dashing men while in New York, but never one who intruiged her as much as Orlando did... in fact no one had ever sparked her interest in this way before.
"Yes, you may." She said with a smile, "Come over in the morning and we can start renovating my apartment. I'll make us breakfast." Bella said softly, standing from her chair. She moved quietly behind him, careful not to wake his son, and leaned in from behind to place a soft kiss on his cheek, "Goodnight." She said in a voice no more than a whisper before slipping through the crowd, down the stairs, and back into her apartment.
----------
Jerry crossed the room towards Lee, who was surrounded by a growing group of people (some who he recognized and others who he did not), "Hey Lee, what can I do for you?" He asked, running a hand through his salt and pepper hair in a casual way before smiling warmly to those in the group that he did not know. He hoped Richard would make his way over as well so that he could let the group know that Richard would be taking over the management for the building.
----------
Heath climbed back up the stairs to the patio on the roof, noticing that it was not nearly as loud as it had been when he'd left. How long had he been gone? Obviously long enough for the party to die down, but he'd needed the time to pour the poetry out onto paper before it had vanished like smoke between his fingers. That woman, that muse, had jump started his failed creativity and he felt better than he had felt in months.
He opened the door to the patio and walked a few steps before he spotted Riley. He was standing with a large group of people, the stunning red headed woman stood awkwardly next to him. He waved casually towards the group and strolled over, "Sorry about running off like that! I needed to look after something. What have I missed?" He asked, Austrailian accent clear in his voice, and looked around at the group. He knew a number of the people but certainly not all of them. He also noticed that there was a wide range of expressions on the faces of the people in the group and he felt like he had walked in on something.

Shan would have liked to have gone on talking to Lee - or Joliesse, as he preferred to call her - but he could sense her reluctance. Either he'd come on too strong, or she was taken, or otherwise not interested. Either way, he wasn't going to give up without some kind of a struggle... but on the other hand, this was what Freud would have called a classic case of the "pleasure principle vs the reality principle" - if he wanted to have a chance of seeing the lovely dancer again, he'd have to be staying here. And the way to a place here was not through Lee but Jerry. "Seems we have the same idea, ma'am," he said, mock-formally to Sian. "Shan Finnegan." He listened to her greeting in return, and exchanged a few trivialities. He wasn't too surprised she'd never heard of him. "Well, Jerry - any chance we could talk about possible accommodation?"

She took a glimpse at her wrist watch and was surprised to see it was almost 12. She bit her lip and whispered to Audrey, "It's really late. I should bring you home. It's not really safe for you to be alone." Somehow she wished someone could come with her. It was a Friday night, she didn't mind waking up late tomorrow as long as she knows Audrey gets home safe and in order to assure herself that she will be, she needs to bring her back to her place- safe and sound.
"So whatcha say?" She waited for Audrey but found Shan to be looking at her in a flattering way. Somehow she couldn't help but smile back.
She then heard Riley say something about them, "I know we got a lot of beautiful girls like Lee and Audrey but [i]red always bring off that certain vibrance don't you agree?"[/i] He was obviously flirting with the new girl. And she gave them a silent yes by nodding. It was true, Sian gave off a different meaning to beauty and she liked her.
Lee then realized that Heath had rejoined them. He gave him a smile and brought her cocktail can as a sign of cheers.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Sorry about running off like that! I needed to look after something. What have I missed?" Heath's voice boomed from behind him.
He wanted to apologize to his friend but when he saw how he flirted with Sian changed Riley's mind.
"Riley here," And she touched Riley's arm, gently, to keep her options open "Riley says you're the man to see about accommodation here."
Riley wanted to piss his friend so he flirted back. He placed a hand at Sian's shoulder as if locking her in his arms and said, "Well who couldn't let a fine beauty stay away from this place? I know we got a lot of beautiful girls like Lee and Audrey but red always bring off that certain vibrance don't you agree?"
Heath smiled in amusement, slightly surprised that the stunning woman had found her voice and was no longer just a blushing silent beauty. She seemed more comfortable with her surroundings and he silently cursed himself for missing out on the transformation. He supposed the credit went to Riley, who always became friends with people quickly.
"So this is Jerry," she said, turning to the person she'd named. "Riley here," (and she touched Riley's arm, gently, to keep her options open) "Riley says you're the man to see about accommodation here."
Heath watched as she touched Riley's arm and felt a slight pang of jealousy, though he swallowed it and looked towards Jerry with a calm and pleasent smile. Heath was not one to ever cause a scene, certainly not with his best friend, and so he made no comment on her actions but felt that calmness tested only a second later.
Riley wanted to piss his friend so he flirted back. He placed a hand at Sian's shoulder as if locking her in his arms and said, "Well who couldn't let a fine beauty stay away from this place? I know we got a lot of beautiful girls like Lee and Audrey but red always bring off that certain vibrance don't you agree?"
Heath looked towards Riley, getting the distinct feeling that he was trying to get a rise out of Heath, and smiled cooly back before glancing towards Sian, "I agree with Riley, though your beauty surpasses any words that I could tie together at the moment." His smile warmed when he looked at her, though he did not lay on the charm, touch her arm, or anything that Riley may have done. He simply spoke honestly to her before turning to look at Jerry as he spoke up.
Jerry cleared his throat awkardly, wondering what exactly was going on. Riley and Heath seemed to be vying for the same thing red head while he was being introduced to SHan Finnegan, a man who wanted to move in, and then Lee introduced him to Audrey who would be moving in with her. He thought that was it, but then Lee added that the red head (named Sian apparently) would be wanting accommodations as well.
"Great to meet you all!" Jerry said with a toothy grin, "First things first, I'm glad you've found a roommate Lee. Shan and Sian, there are a number of rooms available for rent right now. Richard," He gestured to Richard who had come to stand next to them, "Can show you some of the rooms tonight or you can come back tomorrow. I'm going to be away for quite a while and Richard will be taking over the duties until I return... and perhaps even continuing them when I get back." He added, clapping a hand on Richard's shoulder in a friendly way.
Lee woke up with Penny snuggling by her arms. The little dog whimpered though it's eyes remained closed. The weather was a bit chilly, Fall was making itself felt more than ever. She loved the season, though flowers get a big expensive she loved how the trees turn into warm colors of red and orange. She hugged her dog and slowly opened her eyes to be greeted by the soft glow of the morning sun. "Morning baby," She whispered.
Times like this, she prefer staying in her bed rather than working. But she her phone reminded her she needed to be somewhere else. She grabbed it by her bed's side table and answered the phone call, "Yes. I understand- Alright, give me an hour- Okay." And the caller ended the call. Lee gave off a heavy sigh of relief. She hated the fact that she had to duties to fulfill even if it was the weekend. So she pulled herself out of bed, sending Penny to scramble on her paws, and instantly did her daily stretching while walking to her apartment's kitchen. Her short white tank top rose and showed a bit of her stomach as she pulled her arms upward and yawned then opened the fridge door to get a glass of Soy milk. Penny yapped and stood on her two hind legs asking for her puppy treats as she obliged and got her dog some.
She love her apartment especially how the big window gave her living space the much needed light. She sat on her kitchen stool and stared at the horizon. Last night was fun. She loved how the night turned out and even can't wait for Audrey's news if she had fixed it with her current landlord. Then her phone went off again, she had received a text message from her boss telling her to hurry up. With much hesitation, she stood up and went to get a shower and dress comfortably.
It was no good - the floor length housecoat she'd packed from her last place had definitely vanished. And damn it, she had run out of milk, and needed it - milk was about the only indulgence she allowed herself. She recalled someone had said that a carton was automatically delivered for each tenant. It was so frustrating... just a short trip away, yet here she was, having to shower and get dressed before she could greet the day with a steaming caffeine-jolt. But there was no doubt about it - the ultra-short pale green nightgown she was wearing, and which had become wrinkled and bunched after a night's sleep - was definitely far too revealing to be seen in!
Hmm, on the other hand... surely she'd have to be very unlucky indeed to encounter anyone, in the few minutes it would take her to nip down, grab the milk and get back. It was either that or go through the ritual of showering and dressing. NO, damn it, she'd risk it! She'd sue the fire-escape, she could hardly expect to meet anyone there.
She looked right and left and then sneaked out into the landing, scurrying for the stairs.
He searched for his set of keys and grabbed his bag. Closed their apartment and jogged down the stairs instead of using the elevator from the 4th floor.
He realized that he and Heath still haven't talked about their small drift the other night and intended to talk to his buddy when he comes home. Hopefully, he'd be able to catch him. He realized that it was really mean for him to piss his friend like that.
He was about to reach the last landing of stairs when he bumped into a small frame of a girl who's hair seemed really familiar. "Sian?!" He stared at her exposed legs and arms with a creamy complexion and gulped. "I'm- I- Well I-" He stuttered and tried not to look at her body but couldn't help not to look at her. "Is something wrong? Why are you- I mean- Do you need to do anything?" he tried to ask as he finally removed his gaze unto her body. What could she probably need in order to go out wearing a lingerie?
All too late, Sian remembered the main thing about fire escapes - they are self-locking! Now, here she was, stuck on the landing, dressed in a garment that - if she tugged as hard as she could, simultaneously at the front and back, was only just an inch away from a situation of indecent exposure... except that, with such hard tugging, the low-cut decolletage of the garment slid further down, so that her nipples were now only a hair's width from being exposed. There was just one bright spot - no-one had seen her. With any luck, she could manage to make it to the elevator and find it unoccupied - or hide behind a corner until it was - and get back to her own apartment unseen. Things could have been worse...
Sian? Is something wrong?
Sian's face was already pink - now, at the thought of someone seeing her in this ridiculous, humiliating predicament - particularly a guy that she had hopes for - she could feel a blush shooting up form the very depths of her body, flaring out on her face like an invading army! She tugged frantically at the hem of her nightgown, desperately trying, somehow, to add a few extra inches to its length, and then broke off to yank it upwards, a split-second before she was exposed at the other end - and then went back to yanking it down again.
She could not speak. Her mortification had struck her dumb!
And then, from around the corner came another voice familiar from the night before...
"Hiya, Riley. I just went out and got the newspaper. Feel like a coffee?"
And Shan, the guy from the party who had been talking to Joliesse, hove into view...
New York: The City That Never Sleeps
Most recent OOC posts in New York: The City That Never Sleeps
Re: [OOC] New York: The City That Never Sleeps
I had the most amazing time, and I have way more stories than I can even remember lol (A lot of them are probably not appropriate for this setting too. lol) but it was fantastic, thanks for asking!
I have a lot more time as well. I've got a couple weeks before classes start again, and it is a light semester for me so I'll have time to spare. :)
As far as how things are going currently, Orlando needs to respond to Bella and Clara needs to get back to John about the job... but I haven't seen Lily post in a while. :/
Re: [OOC] New York: The City That Never Sleeps
And no you are certainly not kicked out. I sort of stayed away from this for a bit because I wasn't sure where to take it or who was even still interested. I',m game for keeping it going, though! And can be more committed now.
Lovechanningforever and Alan, are you two still interested? Snicker, are you still game?
So far here are some suggestions:
1. for those who didn't bother to post again, let's pretend they moved out.
2. casting convention
3. someone wants to take the building down.
Re: [OOC] New York: The City That Never Sleeps
These things happen all the time in New York, casting companies rent out conventino centers and spaces to send people to scout out some new and upcoming talent, in all the Arts. Maybe a few conventions happen in town and the guys start heading after their dreams. I don't know if they should come anywhere near success yet though.
Or maybe if in case the others won't be returning to play in the RP we can pretend that they moved out. Whatcha say Kenzi?
Re: [OOC] New York: The City That Never Sleeps
As to where to take it - what about the apartment building is about to be demolished, and the tenants put on a multi-talent show to raise money to save it? Just kicking ideas around here, I'm sure others can come up with something more interesting.
Re: [OOC] New York: The City That Never Sleeps
It may sound mean but at least some people should have the decency to say they're no longer interested instead of leaving us hanging. Right?
Maybe a vote would be good.
Who wants forget about the night and start with the "tomorrow" post? (Did I made any sense?! LOL). Say YAY!
Who are those who still wants to linger in the night? Say NAY!
I vote YAY!
