Ashley possesses the kind of personality that you wouldn't really want to waste your time trying to figure out. The girl can be all over the place, most of the time. She tries to adapt her personality to fit the needs of who she's around. With some friends, she's the listener. With others, she's the talker. It makes it hard for her to really hate or not get along with someone, unless they're extremely rude. Or a total bore. Or maybe they just don't like her. Which isn't too uncommon. And while Ashley may be very intelligent, that often times only goes as far as 'book smart'. She studies hard to do well in her classes, but when it comes to common sense...some people might often get the impression that she's a bit of an air head. Some jokes just go over her head, and she's a bit too trusting and gullible, which sometimes gets her into the wrong kind of situations. Her friends do give her a hard time for her 'blonde moments', which is entertaining all on it's own, and Ashley is usually a pretty good sport about it.

Ashley isn't one for sports, at least when it comes to having an actual skill for it, but she still tries damn hard, anyway. She's always been a fan of sports from a bleachers, since she never had the talent to be on the actual field/court. She feels most at home while outdoors and oftentimes cannot stay inside for too long without itching to get out. Ashley Davis has always been drawn to the beach, so perhaps her California roots just grew too deep inside her. So, it's no surprise that being all the way across the country away from the Pacific Ocean has left her homesick more than she'd care to admit.

In conclusion, whether you're looking for the life of the party, someone to take advice from, or someone to just hang out with at home on the couch and watch scary movies...this is the girl you want to have around.

History

There's plenty truth when Ashley tells her friends that she has no real juicy stories about her past, or her family. Her life is not perfect, by any means, but she really doesn't have much to complain about.

Ashley grew up with only one other sibling, her older sister. And thankfully, there was never any pressure growing up from her parents to be 'just like' her older sister, or follow her footsteps. Ashley was encouraged to create her own path and make decisions on her own in what she wanted to do. Of course, that sometimes got her into trouble, and her parents were always there to discipline her when necessary. And when the decision came after high school that she was going to move to New York to attend school, as always, they fully supported her decision. Ashley promised herself that she wanted to see the world, meet new people...and the only way to start doing that was to branch away from her comfort zone.

Ashley never really had a passion for marine biology, or any type of science, and she originally only signed up for the classes as a way to sort of find some sort of familiarity to her home in California. But it didn't take long for her to grow to love what she was learning, and she hopes the field she's in now will only take her to more new places after she graduates in two years. She's still young, why settle down....
