Full-time student, part-time procrastinator.
Judgemental, Outspoken, Obnoxious, Witty, Lazy, Sarcastic.
With the mind of a dedicated athlete, Kate Wallace makes nothing a priority unless it pertains to softball. Anything else is pushed aside, which is probably why her group of friends have narrowed down to a small number. A very small number. When she's not playing softball, she's the complete opposite of her athlete ego. She's much more laid back, though some might use the word 'lazy', and she'd rather stay inside, watch movies, or play video games, than go out to parties. She's very much of a homebody, and feels uncomfortable around too many people as that's what seems to get her into the most trouble. She may be laid back at times, but her mouth has no filter, and she does not realize sometimes that what she's saying might be hurtful to someone. Her humor is very dry, and sarcastic, and she just can't understand sometimes that people just don't get her humor, or know her well enough to not take her too seriously.
Raised as an only child, one would think Katheryn Wallace was as spoiled and pampered as can be. But no. Her parents divorced around the time of her 8th birthday, and Kate was taught young with a struggling single mom just how important money was. Not to be spent, but saved and used only for necessities. Toys were only given on special occasions for birthdays and Christmas, and family vacations were rare, if at all. But Kate never once complained or challenged her mom to get more money, and instead grew more to appreciate what she had, rather than be sore about what she didn't.
In the end, it tightened the bond between both her and her mother, which is why she chose to stay close and attend school in New York. And she hopes to try to get a degree to help her become successful so she won't have to worry in the future about continuing to struggle for money.
