Riviette Maltrois's Story

'Hayden was running threw a field that looked of blue fire, a tall dark shadow standing in the middle of her path, its arms wide up and Hayden could see white sharp teeth as it smiled at her. She stopped a few feet away from the creature and strangly she didnt feel frightened she left a bond between them she hadnt felt before. "my dear child how i have missed you, but now you have turned the age of awakening" its dark voice echoed threw Hayden's mind as if walked closer to her. It stopped though when a bright white light came threw the field of flames and Hayden saw a beautiful woman with flowing blonde hair and bright blue eyes, her white wings glowed behind her. She went to stand by the unknown creature, the light coming from the woman showed his features. His hair was a silvery white and his eyes glowed red, his skin pale but his features sharp. He was towering over Hayden and the glowing woman who was smiling down at Hayden love clear in her eyes. "my darling Hayden how you have grown" the womans soft angelic soft soothed Hayden as they both stood right in front of her now, looking down at her. They each put a hand on Hayden's cheeks, the man's hot as blue flames surrounded it but it didnt burn and the woman's a cool warmth her soft hands touching on of Haydens soft light blonde curls.
"Happy Birthday Hayden" they both said at the same time then everything faded to black.

Hayden opened her eyes to see the sun shining threw her curtained window. Her silver eyes scanned the room, it was her's and not the field of blue fire. Sighing Hayden shifted until see faced her alarm clock which read 10:37 am in bright red. Groaning Hayden got up and headed to her on-suite bathroom, flicking the light on and facing the mirror.
Her light blonde curls were wild and stuck out in every direction, her pale skin clear and blemish free and her weird silver eyes seemed to glow under the fluorescent bathroom lights. Turning away from the mirror Hayden stripped off her pj's and hopped into the shower, not caring about the cold water but just enjoying the shiver's it sent threw her over heated body.Hayden took 25 minutes in the shower then hopped out, not caring about dripping water on the wood floor she left the bathroom without a towel and headed straight to her walk in closet.
Her mothers family was all coming over to celebrate Hayden's 17th birthday meaning Hayden would have to dress nice and girly. Groaning she took out a royal blue strapless dress that went down to mid thigh and a pair of silver flats. Quickly getting dressed she went back to her bathroom, all the steam disappeared and she started on her hair and makeup.

After she was done she once again looked in the mirror.
"God i hate this" she growled as she left her bathroom and headed to the hall. She could hear her older sister running around in their room's getting ready and Hayden just rolled her eyes as she hopped onto the stairs rail and slide down it. Her house was very big and expensive, her mother was a very expensive lawyer who made at least $200,000 a year. Hayden walked into the kitchen to see Riviette cooking pancakes.

"hey Riv how's your morning going?" Hayden asked as she sat on one of the bar stool's and placed her elbows on the island, leaning on her hand.

"not really its just another day to me but...." Hayden scanned the kitchen and made sure no one was near to hear them.
"Riv i had a really strange dream last night, i was in a field of blue fire and their were two people there, one was a very tall man surrounded by the flame and the other was a glowing woman was angel wings.....i'm just wondering what does it mean like i rarely ever dream when i sleep so it was strange to wake up and make sure i was in my room" Hayden explained her dream to Riv who had just finished making a batch of pancakes. She put 2 on a plate for Hayden and covered them in peanut butter and maple syrup Hayden's favorite. Riv handed the plate to Hayden

"thanks Riv your the best, i swear no one makes pancakes like you" Hayden said cheerfully and she bite into a delicious pancake.
"anyway's i'm really not looking forward to seeing my mothers family again their all a bunch of stuck up snobs" Hayden said in between mouth fulls of pancake.

"another thing thats been bugging me is ever since this morning i have been feeling really warm and i feel like somethings pulling at my chest" Hayden explained to Riv. She trusted Riv with all her secrets and her life because she have been there for Hayden since she can remember.

Hayden was about to answer back when heer glorified sister's entered the kitchen, sneering at Hayden's plate of pancakes.
"ewwww pancake? ummm i dont think so to many carbs Maid i want thinly sliced fruit, no bright colored fruit though and some low fat cottage cheese" Felicia commanded. Her dark brown hair was pin sraight, along with her other sister's Megan. They were twins and super annoying.

"Hello you stupid useless maid i said food now and Hayden move your in my morning sun" Felicia sneered and pushed Hayden off the bar stool along with her plate of pancakes which splattered all over Hayden's dress. Hayden fell onto the hard tile floor and whimpered as pain shot threw her spine.

"You fucking BITCH!" Hayden growled angrly. Just then the fire from the stove top flared into blue flames but quickly diappeared as Megan shrieked.
"what the hell was that!" Megan screamed. Her high pitched voice hurt Hayden's ears. Hayden looked at her in confusion, she hadnt caught sight of the blue fire which disappeared as quickly as it came on.
Standing up Hayden looked down at her dress then glared at her sisters
"ya good morning to you to and stop talking to Riv like that before i give you both black eyes and break those fake noses of yours" Hayden threatened and her sister's ran out screaming as Hayden charged at them. Smirking at her work then frowning at her dress Hayden sighed.
"well that was a waist of perfectly good pancakes"

"Riv your amazing you know that right, here" Hayden quickly unzipped the dress and took it off then handed it to Riv. Ever since Hayden's dress incident in grade 6 she always wears spandex shorts underneath her skirts and dresses.
"hey i'll be right back just forgot my phone upstairs be back in a sec" Hayden smiled brightly and left the kitchen and started heading up the stairs.
'hayden...' an eery cool voice said softly and Hayden stopped at the stop of the stairs to look around.
"Hello? who's there?" Hayden asked confused
'hayden come here....' the voice spoke again
"Megan if thats you your so dead" Hayden threatened but the voice didnt stop
'hayden....' the voice seemed to be coming from her moms office. Hayden decided to ignore it and headed back to her room, grabbing a grey t-shirt and her phone.
'hayden....' the voice said again. Hayden growled and followed the voice into her mothers office.

"ok i'm here now what?" Hayden was starting to get ticked off with these voices.

'look....in...the....red....book....on.....desk' this time many voices were heard talking to her all at once. Hayden looked at her mothers desk to see a giant red book with a gold lock on it. The closer to got Hayden saw that the lock had no place to put a key.
"weird" Hayden said aloud as she now stood in front of the book.

'touch it....' the voices demanded. Even without the voice's encouraging her to touch it Hayden felt this strange pull at her chest again and it seemed to pull towards the book. Doing as the voices said Hayden touched the book but quickly backed away as the gold trim and lock turned blue and glowed brightly before completely vanishing.

"Holy shit" Hayden whispered
'open it...' the voices encouraged and with a deep breath Hayden opened the book instantly flipping to a cut out page. Hidden without the book was a beautiful silver locket.

"really mum? like i know my sisters use your jewelry but you really resorted to hiding it in books? i wonder if she's got those diamond earring hiding in here somewhere i always liked those" Hayden rambled to herself as she picked up the locket. She ran her fingers over the detailing of the locket and clicked the switch to open it. She opened the locket and thats when things went to hell. Hayden screamed as her skin was quickly surrounded by blue fire and she fell to the ground as pain came out of no where. The apin stopped moments later and Hayden sat up and looked herself over. She was still surrounded by blue flames, her light blonde hair was now longer and completely white. Her teeth poked her bottom lip and she winced as it cut it. She flt her teeth and face and shuddered at the difference. Her ears were pointed, all her teeth were sharp and something flicked her face. Hayden looked behind her to see a white tail coming from her body. She screamed again and dropped the open locket and kicked it under the desk.

"WHAT THE HELL!!" Hayden screamed as the office window bursted. Covering herself she looked over at the window and screamed. A giant monstrous creature stood in the window, yellow eyes focused on Hayden as it licked its lips.

"Hello young princess...." it snarled as it charged at Hayden.

Hayden watched the fight before her as she heard other screams, roars and things breaking from down stairs. While Riv was fighting off the creature another came bursting threw the door Hayden's mother in its mouth, dead.
It had no eye's but the creature just seemed to see Hayden as it dropped her mother and charged, its shrieking cry echoed threw the house.
Hayden screamed as it tackled her and held her down, its large snake like tongue licked her face and its black nails shoved deeper into her skin. Fear and anger built in Hayden, fear for the obvious reason but she didnt know why she was angry. She left belittled by these pest's and something in her didnt like that one bit.

"GET OFF ME!" Hayden growled looking the beast right in the eye. She saw her reflection in its large iris. Her silver iris's glowed and her pupils had become split and red, she looked like a demon. Her anger made her flames burn brighter and bigger and soon the beast was surrounded by blue fire. It jumped off her and shrieking as its body burned. Hayden backed away then something catch her eye, it was the locket underneath the desk but to get it she would have to risk going by the new Riv and the monster she was fighting. Taking a deep breath Hayden lunged for it, her hand curling around the metal but the monster Riv was fighting saw her then slammed Riv into a bookcase. Turning it charged at Hayden mouth wide open as if it planned on eating her, Hayden screamed as she withdrew the locket from underneath the desk and put it in front of her.

The painful shrieks of the monster in front of her filled Hayden's ears and she opened her eyes and looked up to see the locket wasnt a pendant anymore.....it was a sheathed sword. Even with the sheath it was sharp enough to break threw the skin and plunge into the demon's chest. Shakily Hayden quickly redrew the sword as the beast fell to her feet. Hayden's whole body shook as she looked up to Riv with tears in her eyes.

"Riv....what the hell am !? NO MORE LIES TELL ME NOW!" Hayden growled. Her tail thrashed around wildly, her flames getting bigger the angrier she got, her growls more animal like and her fangs, nails and ears grew longer. Another Demon jumped threw the window and charged at Hayden but when she looked at it fire erupted from inside its body burning it from the inside out. Then Hayden looked back at Riv
"please turn back i cant look at you like that......please Riv" Hayden sobbed putting her head down so she wouldnt look at Riv. She wouldnt know what she would do if she accidentally burned her.

"i...i cant look at you i'm scared to....i dont want to hurt you like i did to that thing...i just looked at it and it burned! What if i look at you and you burn? i dont know what i would do if i killed you i...i..." Hayden broke down, falling to her knee's as sobs ripped from her throat.
"i'm scared Riv" she whimpered. Looking down at her hands Hayden saw the sword had shifted back into a open locket. Hayden closed it and the flames disappeared but he tail, hair, sharp canine's and now again slightly pointed ears stayed. She didnt look much like a true demon anymore but still different. Sniffing she looked up to Riv and nodded her head when she said they couldnt stay long then stood up.
"i guessed" she sniffed. She didnt know what she meant by embodiment of Inferna and Aurae but right now she didnt care, no matter how much she disliked them her family was still dead and gone forever. She put the necklace on then took Riv's hand as they ran down the stairs and out the door.
"what a birthday" Hayden mumbled as they hopped into Hayden's white Audi R8, Riv in the drivers while Hayden in the passengers. A memory flashed threw Hayden's mind
"what! Iyana was suppose to come over today she should be on her way now we need to go get her before she comes here" Hayden said in a panic. She wasnt going to lose her best friend to.
"she should still be at her house please go before those things follow us" Hayden was freaking out, trying to stay calm but right now thats impossible.

Hayden scanned the streets as the drove to Iyana's, sighing everytime to turned a corner and got closer to were Iyana lived. Since Iyana lived alone she had given Hayden a house key because one they were best friends and two, if she ever forgot her's she could just call Hayden to come with the spare. Hayden was relieved when they pulled up to Iyana's apartment and Hayden quickly jumped out and ran in, up the stairs and to Iyana's door. The door was unlocked so Hayden knew she was still home.
"Iyana!" Hayden shouted running into the room and seeing her friend by the coat closet getting ready to leave.

"Thank god i got here in time! you will never guess what happened" Hayden shouted as she tackled Iyana in a bone crushing hug. Tears streamed down her cheeks as she cried on her friends shoulder.
"their gone Iyana their gone" Hayden whimpered as she saw Riv enter the room.

Hayden just shook her head and stood up, pulling Iyana up with her.
"ya ok then lets go to the store and by more corn chips" Hayden said bitterly. It always bugged her how her best friend seemed so emotionless really Hayden wasnt sure why they were best friends just that it happened one day when they were young. Tugging Iyana along Hayden grabbed onto Riv's hand and tugged them both behind her, having this urgent need to get away from where they were like an instinct that something bad was going to happen.
They exited the building and Hayden threw Iyana into the back and pushed Riv to get in the passenger this time because if anyone knew how to drive her baby it was Hayden. Right when Hayden opened the drivers door a bright flash hit Iyana's apartment and it exploded shards of wood, brick and glass shooting everywhere.
"Shit!" Hayden shouted as she quickly hopped into the car and took off avoiding all the falling debris. Hayden's foot kicked something and she looked down to see an umbrella
"do i even want to know why you have this?" Hayden asked Riv as she handed the umbrella to her. Something flashed in Hayden peripheral vision and she slammed on the brakes and a person felling from the sky and landed in front of them.

"What the fuck you mor.....on....." Hayden looked at the person. He had long blonde hair and giant white wings, gold armor covered his body and a long gold sword pointed at her threw the window shield.

"Daughter of Satan i am Caleb one of the Archangels who have been assigned by our Higher up to kill you for you are a monster, an unholy creature who is neither demon or angel, you are a curse, a being not meant to live in this world anymore" Hayden ignored his sentenced and focused on the one this he said, then turned to Riv.

"I'm the daughter of WHO!!" she shouted as Caleb advanced.

Chikyū

he felt it despite being so deep in hell he could feel it. 'it seems my little sister has awakened if only somewhat i think ill pay her a visit' he thought to himself a savage grin showed on his face and then he was gone.

it took a while to take up a human form but even with him trying to restrain his powers as much as possible he knew with just one simple punch he could eradicate and entire town. that was just how the prince of earth was incredibly strong there was no known limitations of this. he jumped roof over roof like a ninja of some sort. the distances Chikyū covered was inhumane but he did it with ease. thats when he felt it again a surge of angelic power, "a strong one at that damn are they already after her" he growled before taking one last leap into the air. Chikyū raised his fist above his head, the force of his decent wipped back his hair revealing two small horns, his long black tail trailed behind him. Chikyū's eyes showed the same expression as always what looked to be boredom or maybe sleepyness. but the demon prince was anything but tired, albeit a bit bored but tired no not even close.

his fists slammed into the ground eight where the archangel once stood a grin on his lips as he used his own momentum to spring back up, his quarter staff materialized in his hands and he made swift jabs at the angel. "so you think you can just kill my sister just like that. what did you honestly think you damn angels were the only ones who felt her partial awakeking but no sorry to put an end to this party but im going to have to kill you now" Chikyū smirked before raising the staff and stuck it into the ground. he then wirled his body around it narrowly avoiding the angels blad. the two exchanged blow for blow but neither landed a single one that end this match between two powers.

Caine woke as he felt the strong presents of Satan's power. He knew what it meant, cause even though he was in Rio and her in Canada he could feel that Satan's daughters powers have been awakened.
'Great i wonder if she's still that little snot nosed kid she was 16 years ago' he thought bitterly as he sat up, the Latin beauty beside him stirring as he moved out of the bed and pulled his pants and shirt on.

"where are you going?" she asked in Spanish and Caine just glared down at her.
"listen i told you last night you were in my bed to have fun nothing more so now i'm leaving i have business to attend to in Canada" he growled.
"cant your company wait one more day?" she purred and Caine rolled his eyes. If had nothing to do with his company
Inferno's Enterprises Holdings, Inc. Yes he was a multi million dollar CEO of his company which was one of the wealthiest companies in the world.
"no it cant" he snarled, grabbed his coat, wallet and phone then left her in the hotel room. He quickly payed then snapped his fingers and transported himself to Canada in a flash, popping up in a tree were he saw the prince of Earth Chikyu fighting an archangel with the girl sat in her car.
"well it looks like he have it under control" Caine said bored, sitting down on his branch and watched the fight. He couldnt see Satan's daughter very well threw the tinted windows but he knew she was there he could feel her powers radiating off her like a burning flame. He changed his face to its original state which was just slightly pointed ears, sharp canines, split pupils and a black tail actually like Satan's daughters and Chikyu.

"what are you doing?" Talon asked as he landed beside Caine.
"watching the show whats it look like?" Caine said back in his regular smart ass way.
"really so your just going to watch my cousin get the shit kicked out of him by that angel?" Talon asked, eyeing up his cousin the earth prince.
"he can handle himself" Caine growled in annoyance. He didnt like to be questioned.
"Where's the girl?" Talon asked looking around for Satan's daughter
"she's in the car" Caine said bored, he wanted to see the little brat.
" you mean behind that sexy fem-demon?" Talon asked now looking at the scythe wielding demon in fron of the car. He cat called her from the tree and smirked.
"she's not that great man" Caine didnt see anything great about her just a normal female demon....probalay with a bad adittude.
"shut up man she's fine" Talon commented his eyes never leaving the silver haired female demon.
"whatever" Caine growled bored once again.

Hayden didnt care, she was tried of all this she wanted answers and with all this commotion she couldnt get any. She angrly exited the car and slammed the door, making all the windows break from the force.
"Does it look like i care!" Hayden roared, her voice sounding demonic. She opened her locket and it changed into a sword once again but this time Hayden unsheathed the weapon and instantly she and the sword were engulfed in blue flames, her features once again become demon. She turned to the two fighting, her anger growing out of no where.

'is this what its like being a demon? will i always be angry or is it from the stress is day have brought me?' Hayden questioned herself.
"Stop!" Hayden growled loudly and the two fighting instantly stopped, the angel's face a look of surprise as if he didnt want to obey her but had no choice. He stepped away from the demon boy in front of him and glared at Hayden.

"curse you daughter of Satan how dare you use your power over me! release me from your hold so i am do my j...." Caleb didnt get to finish as Hayden's sword punctured his stomach, her speed shocking not only Caleb but Hayden herself. He became surrounded by blue flames and Hayden withdrew her sword and stepped back as he screamed in pain and fell to the ground writhing in agony.

"i...im sorry i dont know how it happened i was just so mad and then....then i stabbed him i wasnt even thinking im so sorry" Hayden cried and she watched the angel burn to ashes in front of her. She wouldnt cry though, no she wouldnt let herself cry. Instead she turned to Riv and the male demon.

"I will say this only once again and i want an answer.....i am the daughter of who?" Hayden asked seriously, she was going to get an answer rather they liked it or not.

Iyana was rather confused at being dragged from her home and throw into Hayden's car. Corn chips ... this isn't about corn chips ... is it, she thought to herself. Bam! Shards of debris flew everywhere as her home spontaneously seemed to combust. She looked up to see the ashen remains of her home and all her possessions. "Hayden, what's going on," she said in an expressionless tone. But once the car came to a screeching stop, sending Iyana into the back of the drivers, and the Angel landed, everything made complete sense. Demon after demon seemed to appear. Iyana had felt something different about her best friend since the moment she stepped through her now obliterated door. Riviette, Hayden's maid, was in demon form ... a male demon appeared, and Iyana could feel even more arriving. Rubbing her head, Iyana stepped out of the vehicle, just in time to see her friend put an end to the Angel. Her best friend was a demon ... and she was an exorcist in training ... She knew what she had to do. "Ignore it ..."

"I will say this only once again and I want an answer ..... I am the daughter of who?" Hayden asked seriously. Iyana walked to her friend, reaching up onto her tippy toes and patted her on the head.

"I would like to know as well," she said blankly. The thought of endangering herself around all those demons didn't occur to her at the time being. She had all her exorcist equipment in her purse, for just in case purposes. And if it came down to it, she could summon her familiar. Seeing as how it is my job to know these things ... or my future job in the least, she thought. Iyana grabbed her friends hand, squeezing it reassuringly. She looked up at her best friend and smiled with her eyes, something only Hayden could see. Hayden had grow accustomed to it after all.
