Appearance
Casey is about 5'6 she weighs 134lbs. She has one nose ring and wants to get her lip pierced. Her hair is a light blonde color with bits of brown in it in it. Her eyes are a clear blue, almost silver color. Her skin is a light peach color. She has three tattoos. one on herleft wrist, one on her right wrist and one on her back

Personality
Casey is sweet and charming. She mostly keeps to herself, only because of her... issue with being a vampire. She's spunkie for those who know her, and determined to keep her friends around. She's been able to hide her vampire nature for years to come, since her real age is only 134. She's got the image of a 19 year old. She's kind and considerate to everyone she knows. Though she's not all perfect. She feels as if she's the bad one... the evil one. The reason she feels this way is only because of her habit of having to drink blood. She doesn't mind it, it's just an issue with her.

Image

History

Casey dosen't go back on her history that much, but she does remember growing up, and the feelings she had for her family and friends. Though they've long gone by now [not her family of course, they're all Lamia] she continues to make new friends and keep to herself. She's kept the secrets of the Night World the whole entire time she's lived. Though she enjoys seeing how humans constantly change, their behavior and attitude to things. Hearing rumours of the soulmate principle has gotten her curious about it. Though she's all for Circle Daybreak, she hasn't had a proper reason to join it.

So begins...

To all inhabitants of the Night World,

It has come to our attention of the rising rate of incidents whereby our identity as creatures of the Night World, have been compromised. Most of this incidents, have been linked to the foolish idea of soulmates.

Let me warn you, the Night World council will have no tolerance for this, as there is no such thing. Maintain your distance from the humans and NEVER let your true nature be discovered by these mortals. We, as the council, speak on behalf of the First House of Shapeshifters and for the safety of all vampires, witches, shapeshifters and werewolves.

Brothers and sisters, mind your actions. Do not be naive to think that the humans will understand or accept us. It is in their nature to be hostile to anything that is different. When you allow your identities to be discovered, you not only jeopardize yourself, but the rest of the Night World.

Order must prevail,

The Night World Council

The Council and the First House are in panic. There is an uprising and they can feel it. For centuries, the authorities of the Night World have managed to maintain power, preaching pure breed races and socialization and community within one race. It has been a social norm in the Night World for creatures to alienate themselves from other races and rivalries between races are accepted and sometimes encouraged in certain communities. Such rivalries occurs especially between vampires and werewolves, witch and shapeshifters.

However, the has been a strange force around. It is described like an invisible silver cord that urges and binds two people together, regardless of race. This is the soulmate principle.

The Council is currently trying to put an end to this. The more crossbreeds there are, the more chances of an alliance and eventually a revolution.

Will your character succumb to the force of the soulmate principle? Or will they hold strong and maintain their class pride?

Casey sighed as she walked down the street. Her blonde hair was getting slightly damp from the rain. Looking up at the sky she'd smile, she loved when it drizzled, the rain wasn't coming down hard, but it wasn't too cold. Looking down at her outfit she'd realize she wasn't dressed for the weather. Shivering she'd pull her sleeves closer to her wrists; The diamond from the Black Iris ring glistened in the moonlight. That was her only tell tale sign that she was of the Night World. Her sunglasses would be on the top of her head, since she had been walking since sunset. There was not much traffic as she crossed the street to the park.

"I wish I would have brought my jacket with me." She'd mentally curse herself as she looked around. It was odd the City would be dead tonight. She caught glimpses of the Night World. The life she was born into, the family she was set to have. She'd sit on the park bench and wonder, what would happen if humans just found out about the Night World. What if they found out what the Black Iris on her ring stood for. How could everyone react? She'd shake her head, she shouldn't be thinking like that.

All those stories of Soulmate Principle... She'd think to herself. Leaning her head back she'd close her eyes letting the soft drizzle cool her face. "Wasting of a Century." She'd murmur kicking her heels off for a moment. The Shifters and Vampires... Witches and Werewolves. That was all she knew of.... how could she know of anything different.

The laws she followed to a point. She'd never broken a single one... would she ever be a rule breaker? Most likely not.

After a few minutes of sitting there in the drizzle, she stood up and shivered a bit. It was starting to get cold. She might have been 'dead' but she still could feel weather changes, and colder weather? That was a no go. Quickly she'd make her way out of the park, her golden locks blowing in the wind. The weather was picking up, soon it would be a downpour. Hope I make it home in time... She'd think grimly to herself as her eyes landed on the bus stop. Did she want to take the bus? If there was a downpour, she'd be ok... she'd be covered. Carrying her shoes in her hand, she'd quickly make her way to the stop, slightly aware of another man standing there.

Is that Madonna?! She'd think as she listened to his humming. A smile would be tugging at the corner of her lips. How humans amused her, they were simple creatures. Not knowing of anything going on around them, not even realizing that they were in the middle of a war. Well almost a war. Crossing her arms she'd give another shiver, her smile quickly wiping off her face. Locating the bus down the road, she'd slip on her shoes, and get out her all day bus pass. The door would open to reveal a werewolf, his black foxglove was tattooed on his wrist. She was able to see one of the flowers as his shirt rode up a bit.

Giving a polite smile, she'd make sure to use her hand that had the Iris on it. A simple communication that they were of the same world. He gave her a curt nod, his lips curling back a little, his green eyes having a slight glow to them. Though the communication was cut short, since there was what Casey assumed to be a human That's what he smelled like anyway. The werewolf wouldn't want to break the Night World laws, unless he just didn't care at all. She'd think to herself as she made her way to the back of the bus, away from the mutt.

Sighing she'd look out the window, lost in her own thoughts. Could this day be any more exciting? She thought to herself sarcastically as the bus sat there and idled waiting for others to get on, and some to get off.

Jude saw the woman stand next to him at the bus stop and he supposed the alcohol he had consumed allowed him to study and appreciate her for a longer length of time that most men would consider appropriate. He continued to hum his song, as he studied her. She was carrying her shoes and he wondered if she was cold. Any person in her right mind would have put on a coat. He sighed softly and saw the bus coming down the street towards them. He noticed her slide on her shoes and he got out the appropriate amount of money.

He let the woman go first and couldn't help but notice there seemed to be a sort of understanding between the woman and the bus driver. He wondered if the woman and the man knew each other, but it didn't feel that way. He shrugged the thought away and climbed on after her and paid the machine the driver grunted at him and Jude raised a brow at him. He grabbed his ticket and though there were plenty of empty seats on the bus he choose to sit next to the blonde at the back of the bus. She intrigued him.

Jude kept glancing at her as she gazed out of the window. He noticed a flower on her hand and wondered what the tattoo meant. It took him a few minutes to work up the courage to ask. He coughed to get her attention and gestured to the mark, "That's interesting." He said, "Does it mean anything." Bus conversation wasn't exactly his forte but he had a bit of a buzz and lost a bit of his reserve. Jude normally wasn't the type of man to talk to strange people on the bus at ungodly hours, instead he was the one to keep to himself and to stare out the window much like the girl.

Thank goodness for Alcohol.

Casey stopped staring out the window when he sat next to her. Has he been drinking? She'd think to herself as the scent of alcohol wafted into her nostrils. Coughing she'd look down at the Iris. "It... its an oxymoron, like life... ya know? It sums it up really... Mystery...contradictions." She'd explain hiding the truth about it. Good thing she read a book on flowers when she was younger. Pursing her lips she'd give him a small smile,"It's a black Iris." She'd add on hastily in case he had no clue what she was speaking about.

Staring into his eyes she found herself continuing to talk. "Call me Casey." She'd say her voice hesitant, almost soft. Breaking eye contact with him for a moment, she'd slip off her shoes and throw them on the seat next to her. Leaning her head back and closing her eyes she'd sigh. "It's cold...isn't it?" She'd ask leaning her head to one side, opening her eyes to look back at him.

Why am I talking to him?! Gosh... I'm an idiot. She'd mentally curse herself before offering him a smile.

She told him the meaning behind it and he snorted "That's an awful lot for a flower to say dontcha think?" he folded his arms over his chest and stretched out his legs a little and groaned softly. "Still it is very pretty." He murmured. He yawned suddenly, and realized he was pretty tired. "I would have a tattoo as well." He told her pointing to his shoulder. "It's a dragon." He spoke easily his tongue loose from his drinking. "It doesn't mean anything unfortunately. I got it when I was a younger man. It was the coolest tattoo in the book they showed me." He glanced at her and shrugged.

"Hello Casey." he looked at her, she seemed a bit hesitant of him and he wondered if she thought him to be scary. He supposed he should assure her that he was harmless, but she broke eye contact with him to slip off her shoes and he figured that she was comfortable around him. "you can call me Jude." She mentioned it was cold and he sat up a little "I would offer you my jacket but I'm not sure how you would feel about that seeing as we've met only five minutes ago." He said.

His jacket was more of a hoodie, it was patterned grey on darker grey and it was a little damp from the rain but it was nice and warm. He looked at her wondering if she would accept it.

Casey eyed the hoodie enviously. Chuckling to herself she'd offer him another smile. "It dosen't matter to me... a hoodie is a hoodie... keeps ya warm..." Plus I'm a bit stronger and more dangerous than you. She would mentally add on before curling her feet under her body. Her eyes kept darting to the bus driver, his glare making her feel more and more uncomfortable by the second.

"Is it just me or is the driver creepy?" She'd turn whispering under her breath to Jude. "Oh... and nice to meet you... you're very nice for a guy who just met a girl....just five minutes ago." She imagined what his dragon tattoo must have looked on him, the colors and the form how it might have flowed freeley over his back.

"Usually when a guy gets a dragon for a tattoo it means raw power." She'd pause and think of it, "Like men guard what is sacred to them..." She'd smirk to herself wondering what could be sacred to this guy she just met... this human. "Though it takes a strong man to get a dragon for a tattoo." She'd lean forward and lower her voice even more. "For some people say that the greed and jealousy of the dragon could overpower the simple mans spirit and turn him into a monster." Her green eyes glittered as she spoke. Leaning back as if she were satisfied with her answer she'd give a happy nod.

"That's why I bet you got it... subconsciously of course...dragon designs seriously do look cool." Giggling softly to herself, she was suddenly lunched forward by the sudden stop of the bus. Luckily she felt herself sliding off the seat, and reached for the bar next to her. Though she was already hanging off the seat. "Damn mutt." She'd growl under her breath, shooting a glare at the bus driver, who obviously had a amused smirk on his face. Almost as if he were daring her to slip up and do something supernatural.

Stupid Laws. She thought bitterly to herself.

She said his offer of hoodie didn't matter and Jude considered himself a gentleman and so with out another word he slipped the jacket off of his shoulders and handed it over to her. "Here you are." He draped it over her folded legs and offered her a small smile, she however was looking at the front of the bus towards the driver.

Casey mentioned that the driver was creepy and his eyes flicked to the front of the bus to look at the man. He hadn't really noticed anything upfront wrong about the man. Though now upon further inspection he did seem the angry sort, but then the company wouldn't hire a violent man Jude assured himself. He settled back into his seat as she began to describe what his tattoo mean to him. His hand unconsciously lifted to his shoulder where the beast curled angrily across his arm and back. He smiled and said "I suppose I don't mind being called strong." He told her softly as his hand moved down his own arm to rest on his elbow. "And I can assure you I'm no monster" His hand lifted to his face and with his thumb he pushed up his upper lip to show off his teeth. "No fangs here." He said releasing his lip. She called dragons cool and he snorted, he was about to speak when they both lurched forward.

Jude caught himself on the bar and forced himself back into the seat. He looked towards Casey and found himself reaching forward to grip her shoulder and help her back up. 'Damn mutt' he heard her say and he couldn't help but wonder what that meant. He felt his hair stand up on the back of his neck and wondered why the feeling in the bus suddenly shifted. He ignored the sensation and instead looked concerned at Casey "Are you alright?" He asked.

Casey looked up and gratefully took his help to help her back on the seat. "Yeah.. I'm fine.. thanks!" She'd say coolly, before slipping on his hoodie. It was warm and she liked that. Deep amusement took a hold of her as she saw him showing off his teeth. Does that make me a monster? She'd ask her green eyes watching his movements carefully. "Fangs.. ha...that's not even the scary part." She'd say as if it were some sort of joke. Though she was partially serious, having fangs wasn't the worst part. It was the blood-lust. That is what truly made you a monster. It's why people feared you.

The bus screeched to a halt, and Casey's ears heard a noise. Her head snapped forward, and she saw the bus driver running after them, his body/form shifting. "Shit." She'd growl under her breath as the last bits of the driver disappeared showing a large hairy wolf. As he lunged, Casey would shove Jude to the corner of the bus seats so he wasn't hit by the wolf. Instead the wolf would land on her growling and snapping his jaws. His slobber getting on her cheeks.

Of course the wolf has to attack... of course....reveal the Night World to him... stupid dog! Casey would think as she hissed and growled at him back. The only thing keeping the wolf from getting to her throat was the way she was sitting, her wrists and arms in front of her holding the wolf back by his throat, as her feet were stretched out holding that part of him back by his stomach. She couldn't take her eyes of the beast, that would mean her death, or worse turning Jude into a werewolf.

"I need silver! or Fire.. er.. preferably Silver! Jude...!" She'd shout over the growling and barking and snarling. She really hoped this human could handle tense situations. If not it was her life, or his. She'd let her fangs extend, her eyes going a silvery/green, her features becoming much more feline as she dealt with the renegade wolf.

"Stupid dog!" She'd hiss out at him, which of course didn't seem to help the werewolf's mood at all.

Jude was focusing on Casey when suddenly she swore and his head snapped up at the sound of a growl. Jude's breath came out in a gasp as the driver was moving towards them, his movements were far to quick for any human, and just when Jude thought he was in a weird situation it got stranger. The driver began to change, he grew larger and sprouted hair and a muzzle. He was dumb struck, his hand slid limply off Casey and his jaw hung.

Fortunately for him Casey was thinking and she pushed him, she was far stronger than he expected and his back hit the bus seats hard making him groan out in pain. The once bus driver and now a wolf landed on Casey and he thought that she was done for and he was next, but Casey was putting up a fight. She held the giant creature just out of reach of biting her and she called out to him asking for silver or fire.

Jude was a smoker, it was a filthy habit that he was trying to quit but it was this bad habit that saved him. He had a lighter. Jude scrambled to his feet, his hands were shaking but he managed to find the lighter in his pant pockets, he pulled it out and held it triumphantly. "Got it!" He looked at Casey and saw that now she too looked very different. She had fangs now, and she resembled more of a creature now and he swore under his breath.

"What the hell am I supposed to do?" He muttered under his breath, it wasn't often that Jude did incredibly stupid things but tonight was his crowning achievement of stupidity. He threw himself into the fray, his body hit the wolf and sent them both rolling into the seats. "Here!" Jude threw the small lighter at Casey figuring she would have more of an idea then him. He scrambled to his feet and wrapped his arm around the wolfs neck and jerked it upward. His years as a landscaper gave him strength but he was no match for the wolf who threw him off. Jude hit the ground hard and he felt himself bite his lip on the impact drawing some blood.

Casey gasped as the wolf was tackled. She didn't expect any of that to happen. She caught the lighter in the air her eyes narrowing on the beast. She knew she couldn't kill him with the lighter. Maybe scare him... her eyes darted to Jude, a distraction for her. An open window for the wolf. Damn human... but... Thoughts were cut short as she was tackled backwards, the small of her back hit the edge of the seat as the wolf was on top of her now, once more, desire and rage in his eyes. Casey hissed once more, her hand grabbing bits of his fur and pulling on them. The wolf didn't seem to notice. Though this were happening in mere minutes, it felt like hours.

The lighter! She'd suddenly remembered. Tightening her grip on it, she'd flick the lighter in her hands, scrunching up her nose from the wolf's bad breath. The small flame caught the wolf's attention as it was brought to his chest. "Back off!" She'd hiss before reaching for the silver necklace that was hidden under her shirt. ."I hate to have to get this bloody but-" She'd yank it off, dangling the silver dagger in front of the wolfs face. "I know where to place this just so you will die." She'd hiss, walking forward, lighter in one hand (that was seriously beginning to burn her!) and the 5 inch dagger in the other, the wolf glared angrily. She'd shove the flames in his face, some of it hitting his nose.

The wolf whimpered and growled, as Casey kept walking forward she'd keep the look of the fearsome vampire. Her eyes glanced down at Jude for just a second then back up at the wolf. "Owch!" Shed shout dropping the lighter, kissing her fingers. The one thing that was keeping the werewolf at bay was now on the floor burning hot. It almost looked as if the werewolf had a satisfied grin on his face as he looked at Casey, then at the lighter on the floor.

Casey jumped on the bus seat just as the wolf lunged. Before he had a second to recover, she'd quickly jump on his back sinking the dagger in his eye socket. He howled in pain and tried bucking her off. Casey didn't budge, as she secured her legs around his waist. Pulling the dagger out of the socket, she'd stab his skull. Hearing the dagger pierce the skull itself. The wolf went slowly limp, before letting out another growl. Casey jumped off, and went to Jude's side as the wolf slowly transformed back into the bus driver. "I.. was... gonna... turn..." The driver croaked out, before collapsing on the ground, giving his last few breaths.

Slowly her features went more subtle, and less feline than before. Her green eyes searched Jude's face. "Are you ok?!" She'd ask panicked, the wolf's blood on his borrowed hoodie.

Jude forced himself up and watched horrified as Casey forced the wolf back, the beast growled at her and she pulled out a dagger on him. Jude was so confused about the whole situation, his mind raced with possibilities and in the end the solution was obvious yet also improbable at the same time. Jude had too much to drink, he was tipsy that was for sure, but never had he hallucinated before.

He scrambled back against some seats as Casey plunged the dagger into the wolfs skull and his yowled in pain. He couldn't help the moan of distress that escaped his lips. He could feel his vision darkening as Casey pulled out the dagger and shoved it back into the skull slowly the wolf went limp and he took a few long deep breaths to calm himself.
"Oh man." He breathed. His eyes widened as she began to change back into the woman he had first met "Oh man..." He forced himself to stand and he had to lean against to seats for support. "I'm... fine." He lifted his hand and found his lip to be bleeding. He would have a few bruises but nothing life threatening. "What the hell was that." He suddenly remembered what she had become and backed away from her. "What the hell are you?!" He pointed at her terrified "Please don't kill me." It was pathetic of him to ask and he knew it. "I mean... well I would rather not die today..." He ran a hand through his hair and let out a shaky breath.

Casey pursed her lips and looked at him a bit hurt. She couldn't help it. He had literally called her a monster earlier. The whole fangs thing... coughing she'd shove her hands in his hoodie pockets. "It's a long story Jude... and I'm breaking laws by speaking to you about this." Her voice would be shakey as she spoke to him. "He was a werewolf...and no... I'm not going to kill you.... I don't like killing..." She'd open the bus door manually, and usher him outside. "It's not plesant, but I don't think you want to be here when Night World comes to clean up." She'd start pulling out her phone from her back pocket. Thankful that it wasn't broken. Well it's not an iPhone... She'd walk outside and first call a cab. She gave the address and sighed. Looking up at Jude she shook her head, she didn't mean to reveal herself to him. It was nice just being able to have a conversation with the human.

She'd press a few buttons and put the phone up to her ear once more.
"Casey, what are you doing out so late?" Her mother's worried voice came over the phone.
"Renegade wolf.. I need someone from the Night World to clean it up.. and before you ask I'm fine. I'll be at my apartment tonight... I'm having a few friends over." She'd say coolly, so her mom wouldn't worry about her tonight. There was a silence on the phone for a few moments as her mother thoguht. The thing was she knew her mother that well.

"Be safe Casey Rae." Her mother said before hanging up. Sighing, she'd shove her phone back in her pocket. Walking on the bus she'd look at the dead driver then back at Jude. "The cab will be here shortly... Night World shortly after...you can choose to be here when the Vampires get here to clean it up..." She'd wince inwardly as she said the words. "Or you can come back to my place...and I can explain almost everything...or you can go home and well... try and forget the incident." She'd sit down on one of the bus seats and cross her legs looking at him. Her face was of full seriousness as she told him this.

Seems as if Casey Rae Mitchell was a rule breaker afterall.

Jude looked at Casey and he folded his arms over his chest and said "I like stories, though I have a feeling a lot of fiction has suddenly become non fiction for me." He glanced at the dead body and could feel the bile rising up in his throat, he was sure it was from a number of things. From the alcohol, from the fight, and from hitting his head. He was a strong man and wouldn't throw up at the sight of a body. She spoke about laws and he was intrigued, he felt safer now that she hadn't immediately pounced on him and he figured that if she had been going to her opportune moment had passed.

"What sort of laws are you talking about? What's a Night World?" His questions were lost on her how ever as she was busy digging out her phone and she spoke to someone over the phone asking for a cab, he was quiet. He looked at her brining back the image of what she had looked like when she had changed and he tilted his head slightly. He wondered what she was, he saw the fangs and figured for a vampire but her change of appearance confused him. She seemed almost animal like to him, he frowned a little as she made another call asking for this Night World to come clean up the mess they had made. She said her farewells to the person on the other end of the line. She then walked back on the bus and Jude followed after her. There was a story to be had here and he wanted to hear it.

"I think I would prefer to stay with you if you don't mind." Jude said gruffly "I think I deserve to hear this story after all of that." He crouched in front of her and gazed at her with as much seriousness as she had upon her face. "Are you hurt Casey?" He asked her softly.

Casey looked at him and chuckled, she'd move her limbs and take a deep breath, sharp pain entered her torso. "Bruised Rib, that's about it... nothing that wouldn't be fixed." She'd look down at him giving him a soft smile. For a human, he seemed strong. Determined. Afterall he didn't run away from the fight, and he didn't mind staying with a 'monster'.

"I don't mind at all. In fact... I was going to bring you back to my apartment... safer to speak there." She'd say her eyes flicking around looking in the forest. "I just have to speak with the shifters about this incident." A grim look appeared upon her face. "Last thing they would want to speak with is the Lamia." Casey was voicing her thoughts out loud before she looked down a bit suprised Jude was still there.

"Long story it is... just know... you can't turn back after this...I would have to kill you... before it got out about us." She'd lean back and shrug. "Ever notice a black flower on the side of a building? She'd point to her black iris tattoo and ring, then at the werewolf's tattoo of the black foxglove. "There are six flowers...all black." Holding up her fingers she'd name them off. "Black Iris for the Lamia-Born Vampires, Black Rose for the Made Vampires, Black Dahlia for the Known-Witches, Black Violet for the Lost Witches, Black Foxglove for the werewolves, and Last but not least, Black Lily for the Shapeshifters." She'd close her eyes and take a breath. Education that was forced upon her when she was younger seemed to prove of value. "Any place or person that has a black flower upon them or around the building, stay away from. Those are Night World locations." Her green eyes would stare into his as she spoke. "Until we get back to the apartment, I will not reveal any more." She'd give him a smile before looking up seeing a pair of headlights.

"Cab's here." She'd mutter standing up, making her way off the bus. She'd get into the cab, and give the cabbie her address. She'd hold up a single finger to her lips as she looked at Jude. There was no indication that this person was of the Night World and questions needed to be held until they got to their destination.

"Alright." Jude said as the cab pulled up. He stood, his thoughts racing. What she had told him was in a way very eye opening. He did know of the flower markings all over the city and he had thought them to be symbols of the city put in place as identifiers. "We will talk at your place." He said before he got in. She placed a finger to her lips and he understood that she meant for him not to talk of what had happened.

Instead he looked at her and he let his thoughts go, she said she was a vampire and her fangs had proven thus but she had said that she was a certain type of vampire and he was curious to find out more. He had not known there were certain classifications of vampire, that was news to him. He was curious if the old traditional methods of garlic and wooden stakes were true as well but he supposed those were questions for a later time.

He gazed curiously at her not even realizing that perhaps his staring might be rude, he was jostled out of this thoughts when the cab came to a stop in front of what he supposed was her apartment. They paid the driver and then got out. Jude watched the cab take off and he looked around with a bit of expectation. "No dragon guarding the gate?" He asked her finding a bit of the humour in him. He let his hands slip into his pockets and noticed that she still wore his jacket, it had blood on it and he was surprised that the driver hadn't said anything. Then again it had been fairly dark in the cab.

It was still raining and he raised his head a little against the spray of water and then said "Lead the way Casey."

Casey chuckled and winked. "No... there's usually a werewolf guarding the doors." She'd grab his arm and wink at the bellman. Obviously if Jude were looking he would see the Black Rose on the man's cufflinks. "Welcome to the Bellagio." She'd say as they would casually stroll inside. She'd walk in the elevator and press the P button. Hope he doesn't think I'm a rich snob. She'd think self consciously to herself. Listening casually to the elevator music she'd have an aloof look upon her face the whole time. As if she weren’t some blood sucking monster.

The doors opened and she just walked inside the apartment. "Welcome to the Penthouse Apartment of yours truly." She'd chuckle as the doors closed. "Let me give you a tour before we sit down and discuss these things." Walking a bit forward she'd grin and motion to the room. "This is my Living Room." She'd grimace at the couch. They wern't as comfortable as they looked. She remembered this from the last time she slept on them. Taking his hand she'd lead him to the Kitchen. "My Kitchen... double ovens! One's for pizza!" She'd say enthusiastically, wondering if Jude liked pizza.

Giving him a moment to look around she'd continue leading him, exiting the kitchen and entering the hallway. "Bedroom, or bathroom? Maybe even the balcony?" She'd think outloud. Smiling she drug him down the hall, opening a french style door she'd blush a bit. " My bedroom." Her eyes lingered on the bed wondering if she should offer the man her bed for the night or not. It depended on how her back felt later. She'd give him a minute to examine the bedroom before saying, "Haven't had many one night stands... Just I love big beds!" Chuckling and blushing she'd lead him down to the last room. "And of course, last but not least my bathroom. After a few minutes she'd drag him outside to her balcony. She let the wind blow drops of rain on her face before turning and looking at Jude.

"Do you like it?" She'd ask her eyes wide and genuinely filled with curiosity. "What would you like to drink? I have cappuccino, sweet tea, hot chocolate, kool aid, coffee, and of course I have all sorts of alcohol." With a wild smirk she'd chuckle, "Also I have blood...should you feel the need to drink some." Opening the door she'd smile. "You're choice on where to sit Jude." Before bowing she'd sigh,

"Oh.. Welcome to the Night World..."

Jude felt immediate like he was out of place. Here he was a gardener looking at an apartment that was so lavish it was practically screaming royalty. Jude swallowed as she showed him the bedroom and when she spoke of one night stands he raised a brow but didn't say anything. When they walked back to the kitchen area he leaned himself against the island counter and let out a long breath. "Wow..." was all he said "I guess being a vampire pays?" He looked at her questioningly "Or are you a special case?" she was offering him a drink and he shook his head to the alcohol "I think I've had enough of that tonight. But I wouldn't mind a tea." He smiled softly and turned away from her to look at her apartment once more.

"Wow..." He said again thinking of his own apartment. It was a one bedroom with a living room and a small 3 piece bathroom. The place suited him and his needs. He tried to imagine himself living her but he wasn't sure as to what he would do with all the space. He did another turn this time to face her and said "you have a beautiful home."

She went to get some things and then paused to say 'welcome to the night world.'

At those words he did indeed have to sit down. He chose the floor as it was the closest thing and he didn't have to move. His legs folded under him and he let out a shuddering breath. The events on the bus were catching up with him and he could feel the adrenaline pumping through his veins making him shake terribly. "Oh god..." His head fell into his hands and he tried his best to take a few shaky breaths. "Too... much..." He groaned.

His world had changed in the matter of seconds, and now he was finally realizing what it all meant. Things would no longer be the same, everything and everyone was suspect. Humans were no longer the top of the food chain. Had he been alone with that werewolf he would have been torn to shreds.

This new world was thanks to the woman who had shown him her apartment, and was now offering him something to drink. It was all too much.

Casey smiled as he complimented her on her home. "Well... seeing how my parents own the apartment complex... I see myself as a special case." She'd chuckle and walk over to the fridge and pull out the tea pouring him a glass. She turned to hand him the glass. Seeing how he was upest, with his head in his hands, didn't help her mood. "Hey... it's er... okay... " She'd say rushing over to pat his back. Maybe he does need that drink after all. She'd think to herself, though she didn't want to upset him or insult him by adding alcohol to his drink. He already said he probably had enough.

"Look... the rules of the Night World are being broken as we speak." She'd pause and sit next to him, "The first rule is we don't reveal the Night World to Humans... for obvious reasons." She'd hold up two fingers, "The second is we don't fall in love with a Human." Dropping her hand to rest it back on his back she'd try giving a smile. "Breaking either of them means Death...and so far, I've only ever broken one rule..and that's right now Jude." She'd murmur before giving him an overly perky look.

Glancing at him she'd finally get to look at him. The shadows across his face, caught him perfectly. She'd find herself catching her breath for a moment, his brown eyes that looked like they were full of panic had different shades of brown in them. His hair slightly damp from the rain, seemed to match his eye color. [The things you notice as a vampire.] Coughing she'd get up and walk around the island, grabbing her a bottle of water. Opening it she'd take three deep gulps. She wanted him to be comfortable, and pretending to be human usually helped, others.

"Not all werewolves are like that by the way." She'd say setting the bottle of water down, and pushing the glass of tea to him. "I can vouch for that..." She'd smile softly hoping to reassure him. "Night World isn't that scary hun... it really isn't. We're not all the monsters you've heard of at night.. and hollywood! UGH!" She'd give a disgusted face. "Seriously! I've never seen a vampire sparkle...well except that gay one once..but he was covered in glitter." She'd shake her head and chuckle.

"So Jude. What do you want to know?"

Her hand was on his back and he found it soothing. He lifted his head and saw the glass of tea that she had poured for him and he took it gratefully. "Thanks." He murmured. "And sorry, my brain stopped functioning all of a sudden." He chuckled and took a sip and sighed out. She was studying him and he caught her gaze and looked at her curiously.

She was a pretty woman and he supposed that her features were enchanted by being a vampire, or wasn't that how all the stories went? She coughed and left him and he stayed where he was on the floor. His legs were not yet ready to hold him. He took another long gulp he set down the glass and moved a hand over his chin rubbing the stubble.

Her voice comforted him and he listened as she ranted over how hollywood had dramatized the monsters he had read about and he felt a little releived. Still the transformation on the bus hadn't been pleasant to say the least. He laughed when she spoke of the gay vampire and said "Well he seems like an interesting sort." He lifted the glass and then when she asked him what his questions were did he finally push himself to his feet.

"Well Casey. I want to know a number of things, but first tell me this, are we going to die now that this rule of the Night World is broken? I'm not quite ready for death just yet." He said setting his glass on the counter and looking at her. He had regained some of his composure and was feeling a bit better, but death was still looming over his head and so he found it hard to keep still. He fiddled with the hem of his shirt and then said "Could we possibly explain that it was an accident?" He looked at her as the questions raced through his head. "Does this mean you have a separate government than us humans?" He was gazing at her like a kid in a candy shop.

The possibilities raced through his head and he suddenly realized that here was his story. Here was his muse.
