While he is not nearly as competitive as his sister is on this front, Kaito still enjoys participating in athletics immensely. Many sports do not require him to be a good people person so he excels in this area. His favorite sport is Tennis, but he is into a plethora of other activities like airsoft. His father is very passionate about keeping one's body fit, often going to the gym with his son or playing sports with him when he is not busy working, hence why Kaito grew to love physical activity more than anything else. He doesn't see his father much, but sports has always brought them together no matter how long he has been gone. It holds a place dear to his heart and even if he doesn't rank amongst the very best that Airdalen has to offer he still tries to give it his all.

Unlike his sister, Kaito is fairly decent at his studies, however, he does not have the motivation required to succeed. While he is smart and usually gets passing grades, they are nowhere near the best. He usually skids by with a C, but given he is usually sleeping in class or doodling, he's doing fairly well. Due to being wealthy, his father has never pressured Kaito to do well in school, therefore he doesn't go out of his way to raise his marks. Kaito absolutely loathes school, but this time he thinks it might be different. This time he has a genuine reason to want to be there, he only hopes that it won't be a complete waste of his time.

He does his best to avoid disclosing his last name due to the fact that he is painfully aware that she has no idea who he is or that she even has a twin brother. Another reason he wants to keep his anonymity is that he wants to see what kind of person his sister has become in his absence, and the best way to do that is by approaching her as a stranger, not by tossing a huge curveball at her. Kaito has gone by his first name only as often as he possibly can at his father's request anyhow, so this isn't much of a change for him. He knows she will hear his last name eventually at school, but he doubts anyone will put the pieces together as 'Miyu' is a fairly common surname and sounds almost exactly the same as Miyuu. Also, he wants to figure out why his sister is pretending to be a boy and does not want to alter her behavior by revealing the atomic bomb sized secret. His whole reasoning of transferring to Airdalen was to meet her as he feels he's been excluded from her life for far too long. Learning that their mother died has motivated him to get to know her, especially since Akira had been in the same car crash that killed their mother. Not wanting to risk wasting any more time, it's now or never and so he's taking steps to gradually introduce himself into her world.

When Kaito was fourteen his father finally allowed him to get his first tattoo, something Kaito had wanted for four years but was far too young to get. Kaito chose to get a tribal tattoo on his collarbone. He doesn't really have a reason for his tattoo choice, there is no special meaning behind the tattoo itself or the location for him. The tattoo itself is just a good reason to take his shirt off when trying to hit on girls and guys alike as tattoos are a good conversation piece. Despite the lack of sentimental value Kaito is very fond of his tattoo and would like to get several more. He doesn't want anything too crazy, he would prefer to just get more triba, preferably all over his arms, torso, and back. Kaito has not yet done so due to school policies, his dream of becoming an actor like his father, and simply because his father's disapproval prevents him from getting another as it requires a parent's signature and presence for a minor to get one in respectable establishments.

Despite his father's shining reputation, Kaito's acting skills are far from stellar. He has begun to see a professional for lessons at his father's request, and while embarrassed by the fact that he needs them, Kaito wants to learn as much as he can from her in order to make his father proud. He sees this as an opportunity to improve in the shadows so he can hopefully impress his father in the future. He hopes to keep this a secret because he doesn't like to admit he cannot do something well. His classmates finding this out would be a major inconvenience to his ego, so Kaito plans to keep this secret buried, forever if possible.

Considering Kaito was raised by his father and hired staff such as the family maid Kazue he has developed somewhat of a bad attitude. He does not enjoy being clung onto by others as affection was not abundant between the Miyuu men and exceptionally loud people tend to irritate him as he was expected to blend into the crowd for the most part and he is not used to dealing with people that draw attention to themselves. Aside from that, his temper and sharp glares often push others away so there are not a lot of people that can get close to Kaito. His standoffish demeanor keeps generally everyone at arm's length, but he views this as for the best considering he never wants to bring someone into the life that he lives. Kaito's only goal is to meet his sister and to catch up on lost time so he hasn't really put an effort into being nice to anyone outside of his family. He does not believe that something as pure and beautiful as 'love' is in the cards for a guy like him. Due to this belief, he hasn't put any stock in the idea and thus hasn't made a strong effort to become a more likable young man.

On the surface, one might presume that Kaito could care less what those around him have to say about him, that their opinions roll off like droplets of water on a window pane, and for the most part, this is true. However, certain things can get a rise out of him whether it is readily apparent or not. When others criticize his acting ability or anything else that he struggles to do well, it can easily set him off. While he accepts he has a lot to learn, Kaito, unfortunately, expresses embarrassment as anger more often than not, especially if the jab is coming from other guys, made even worse if there are girls around to witness it. His image means a lot to him despite what he would have others believe and he goes to great lengths to be seen a certain way despite trying to portray himself as aloof and effortless.

Well, this is self-explanatory. He is his father's son and has inherited his matchstick temper. It has always gotten him into trouble and his ass kicked quite a few times but Kaito never really seems to learn anything. He can take a beating and refuses to back down simply because someone else feels they can intimidate him. Even if he loses, he's gotten a few swings in as well and they will remember that he wasn't just another pushover. Kaito clings to his convictions and he is damn well determined to defend his beliefs and those he cares about if need be. He doesn't feel that he has to explain himself and or that he should be made to apologize for having strong emotions. Since when was feeling things strongly something to be ashamed of?

Infuriated that his father never told him that he also has an older brother. With only stories about him from Misako, Kaito is anxious to meet Adrian. He doesn't know if Adrian is aware of his existence, but he plans to approach him before Akira as Adrain is the eldest and likely most equipped to handle a situation like theirs if he isn't already aware. As Adrian is studying in Britain meeting up with him has been impossible. Although family, Kaito acknowledges that he is little more than a stranger to his siblings and that introducing himself is not something that should be done over the phone. Their first meeting is something Kaito wants to be face-to-face anyway as a big family is something he's always wanted since he was a child.

He only met Misako recently, but in doing so it gave him some much-needed clarity. He understands how his father's warped sense of reality came to be at least. He stopped by the house while Akira was at work, shocked by the quality of life that Akira was enduring. He couldn't believe how small their house was or how poor the quality of everything inside was. Immediately he wanted to pluck his sister from the slums but was assured by Misako that Akira would fight him tooth and nail as she hated their father for abandoning them. It was during this visit that he learned Akira was completely oblivious to his existence and was posing as a boy at her school. He still visits her whenever Akira is at work. He tries not to judge them for their commoner's way of life, but he does find the lower class homes to be filthy and gross no matter how clean they appear.

Kaito's long lost twin sister. When he was twelve he was told by his father that she existed, and that tore him apart. He always felt as though as if a piece of him had been torn out, but Kaito always thought of it as depression or anxiety. He never imagined that he had a sister out there somewhere, let alone a twin sister. He has spent a lot of time and resources tracking them down on his own. His father has not divulged any information about Akira or Misako, but with a little digging Kaito located his twin. Kaito wants to be closer and to eventually form a bond with her, but he knows that he cannot just approach her and drop such heavy information into her lap all at once. He will build up a reputation at the school and get to know her gradually, which is a pain in the ass, but she is one of the last family members he has left so he is willing to put up with the aggravation. .

Kaito takes after him a lot in temper and fashion as well as many physical features. Yukito is a cold, distant man and quite vain but carries himself well. He often takes better care of his appearance than he does his own son, letting Kazue handle most things related to Kaito and his wellbeing. The relationship is very strained, but Kaito adores him nonetheless and does his best to make him proud. Kazue and butlers have more often than not taken over caring for Kaito while Yukito is at a photo shoot or under strenuous filming schedules, but it is not the same and Kaito resents his father quite a bit for being gone and letting his mother separate him from Akira. Going above and beyond for Elizabeth, Yukito has kept Kaito's face out of the media as well. Raising the boy in his image, he has been a strict but loving father, the best a narcissist like him knows how to be, at least.

Due to this, he located Akira and his grandmother Misako. Kaito learned that a drunk driver went into direct collision with the car his mother and sister had been in and that only Akira survived the accident without a single scratch from the event. This is one of the main reasons Kaito decided to reach out and meet Akira, hoping to explain to her one day that she has other family and that she is not to blame for their mother's death. He has enrolled at Airdalen but does not intend to tell Akira that they are siblings just yet. He wants to get to know her first and let her get to know him. While under his father's guidance Kaito has become a bit of an asshole, he hopes to be able to convince his sister to become a part of his life and to let him enter her life as well. He can't help feeling jealous of Akira because she was able to grow up with their mother, but also a stepdad stepped into her life to make their family somewhat whole. This was something he never was able to experience as their father never remarried and while he envies her, he tries not to hold it against her because unlike him she has lost everything. Kaito dated a lot of girls at his last school, but he has never been in love or serious about one. He's had a lot of casual sex and is a fairly confident person, but around someone, he truly likes that confidence evaporates in thin air.
