| PERSONALITY |
Starset - My Demons

Rocco is a two faced contradiction and best described as unstable. Torn between who he wants to be and how he was raised, he constantly conflicts between the two sides that surface depending on the circumstances he is dealt and the people involved. Unfortunately, his kinder side is the rarer one to see.

Image
The Rocco that everyone would know best is flirtatious, cute-faced and dangerous. Upon first impression, he's innocent and harmless but that couldn't be further from the truth. He can manipulate outsiders perspective with his ability to get comfortable with anyone. He has a general disregard for authority and is ready to get violent with provocation and without. He's fearless, not afraid of anyone or anything anymore because he believes there's nothing worse out there than his old man.

He can seem like he only cares about himself or for select people for selfish reasons but the truth is he cares more than he lets himself believe. With his family history, he doesn't know love even in the most basic sense of the word, making him scared of the idea of venturing out of his comfort zone and believing he has any affection for anybody.

Rocco does have a softer side that better matches his soft youthful appearance instead of the strained pretentious look. He normally uses it to fool people but there are genuine times when he lets his guard down and would most likely show this soft side when he gets lost in the moment of being introduced to something new, beautiful or something he just really likes. After the star struck moment is over, he’ll resume his normal ways like nothing happened and still write off his feedback as unimpressed out of hidden embarrassment.

He's a traumatized student trapped in the past that it is hard for him to appreciate the present or plan for the future. Even small things can trigger flashbacks and resentment. Dealing with these negative feelings every day festered into him acting as a mean person as a front for how weak he is on the inside. He often ponders if there even is a point to living such a mundane life without a dream to shoot for or people to care if he were to disappear.

| STRENGTHS | WEAKNESSES |
Starset - Dark On Me

✓ Sleight-of-hand
He can carefully manipulate objects with his hands to hide, switch or steal and avoid detection.

✖ Cat Allergy
Rocco experiences difficulty breathing, coughing and wheezing when exposed to cat allergen (cat dander, saliva, urine).
If exposed to close contact with a cat, it can trigger a severe asthma attack.
It is a genetic allergy he has had since he was born from his mother’s side.
(Secret) He is currently undergoing immunotherapy to take shots that will hopefully desensitize his allergy because he'd like to have a pet cat someday.

✓ Dodging
(Secret) After all the abuse, he did gain some skill out of it. It just wasn't enough against a professional boxer.

✖ Cursing
It ticks him off. Don't do it.
(Secret) It reminds him too much of his father.

✓ Photographic Memory
Rocco has a memory like an elephant. He can remember the good times and the bad evenly and all the other details in between.

✖ Socializing
He can only stand ordinary small talk for so long before losing interest and the conversation taking a mean turn.
He's also an attention hog, disliking sharing the attention of women around him with other guys.

✓ First-person shooter gamer
He'll never lose. He's been offered spots on pro gaming teams but he doesn't want to join the scene and look like a nerd.

✖ Trauma
(Secret) His dad was physically and verbally abusive. More information in his backstory.

| BACKSTORY |
Starset - Carnivore

ImageRocco is an only child. The whereabouts of his mother is unknown but him and his father had never been on good terms. Mr. Jon Murray (aka Behemoth) the #2 Professional Boxer in the world challenged the #1 and sustained a serious shoulder injury in the match that forced him into retirement from his career. Not taking defeat well, he took out his personal frustrations on his son with both violence and verbal abuse. Alone and unable to find anyone to turn to for help, the experience scarred Rocco for life.

Instead of help, he found ridicule, teased and called names for not 'being man enough’ and for ‘crying like a baby’. Rocco was only mocked and treated as a weakling the same way his father viewed him. It was the start of Rocco’s disconnection from people on personal terms. The abuse continued for some time, Rocco showing up to school bruised and beaten. He stopped crying, stopped trying and stopped caring. He accepted his new life and that nothing was going to change. The most he could do was stay out late and leave early to avoid being around his dad at home as much as possible.

It was a miracle when a female teacher Miss Angela Taylor from another class noticed and took pity on him. She informed Rocco about the possibility of acquiring a student visa to study abroad and insisted that she would support him. The only condition she gave him was that he up his grades to pass the Airdalen entrance exam as one of the highschools known to best accommodate foreigners. His grades were not the best but with his renewed hope, he studied hard and his hard work paid off.

Now, it's time for school.

Tadashi was deep in thought trying to think, when eventually Fuyuki's giggling had caught his attention, mkaing him blush slightly. "I'm sorry, this is just too funny. I'm a little bit disappointed you didn't recognize me quickly. Punishment time!" "Ah-" A flick to the nose caused his eyes to shift to a full deep red from the surprise of it all. This was VERY familiar to him now. "Let me introduce myself properly this time, I'm Hakuryu, Fuyuki. I'm happy to see you again, Shi-kun!" The look on Tadashi's face was a priceless cross of complete surprise and embarrassment. Tadashi's eyes were now two completely different colors, with the left purple and right red. His mind reeled back to the sweet girl that he had met when he was younger, talking him into sneaking around, stealing treats and running from guards. His father was initially upset that he was demonstrating such behavior in front of the Imperial family, but her caretakers had notified him that it was most likely she was talking him into doing such things. Fuyuki was one of the few girls that didn't treat him any differently for his appearance, which left fond memories of her. How could he have forgotten?

Tadashi smiled warmly, having stood up out of practiced courteous habit and surprised. "Fuyu-kun! I'm sorry, it's been some time..... I'm surprised that you had recognized me, especially after all this time." It would be easy to see the energy and chemistry between the two, they were old friends that had many good memories between the two. He ignored the ire of onlookers as hey watched the two already friendly students, suddenly have excited emotion for one anther and an apparent history. "My father is well, staying busy. I trust your family is doing well too? Are they still as pushy as ever?" He had recalled from several years ago, that Fuyuki's family, being the Imperial dynasty wanted to preserve their image and every member of the family was expected to play a role, including Fuyu. He nodded when she commented about them both being in Inryoku; "Then, please take care of me." Tadashi could feel the laser beam eyes as well as leery thoughts given her phrasing, typical Fuyuki. You couldn't tell if she was ignorantly innocent, or alarmingly clever with her pseudo-words and actions. His worst fear was that it was both.

"Let's catch up later, okay Shi-kun?""Hai, of course! I want to here all the trouble you've been causing. He smiled after his quick quip and would sit down to enjoy his meal. This however, wouldn't last very long. If not only several bites into his meal, he heard some whistling and saw a male pulling Fuyuki in his lap. In an instant, his eyes shot red as he stood up to intervene. This behavior was unacceptable and he wouldn't allow the 'Imperial Daughter' to be treated in such a way. However, a junior student (Rocco) appeared to intervene before him. His eyes narrowed hearing his (Rocco's) wording regarding Fuyuki in a less than endearing manner, at least in his opinion. What surprised him was how quickly the situation escalated towards violence with the antagonizing boy swinging towards Fuyuki's 'hero' and him (Rocco) dodging every blow so easily. He moved to step forward and found himself hesitating given that a table was flipping, the assault continued but all failed to land a strike.

His eyes narrowed further and Tadashi stepped forward to speak up. His voice would project loudly over the bustle, almost making the students think that their 'beloved' P.E. Teacher Mr. Kito was in the room, but upset. "I THINK YOU'VE DONE ENOUGH HERE." He boomed out looking directly towards the boy who was doing all the fighting. "Tch, who the hell-""You have no right to speak here. I talk and you listen. You are in a school and privately funded cafe of Airdalen Academy, a place where people are supposed to RELAX." Tadashi's eyes were completely red and filled with an authority and conviction that would make a common person question if Tadashi was in fact their rightful superior. "As a member of the Inryoku club myself, I take pride in the work we do here. But people like YOU-" Tadashi aggressively pointed towards the boy who was flipping tables and punching. "People like you], are the type to ruin a good thing for everyone else. Inciting violence over a matter you are completely in the wrong for, both morally and socially." He encroached further but was keenly aware to stay out of arms reach. "You need to leave immediately! As a member of Inryoku, you and ALL of your friends are forever BANNED from this cafe. I will ensure that you are never served here again and that the school faculty is notified, as well as whoever has the misfortune of being your parents." Could Tadashi do this?...... He didn't really know, but it sure as well looked like he could. He was being deadly serious about banning the boy and his friends from here, but his acting skills were going into overdrive to sell this whole thing. He'd have to talk to Gen about placing a 'Do Not Serve' order for the boys.

"But if you insist in making a scene, I've no qualms with this boy here-" He gestured to Rocco with an open hand. "Who appears to have far superior fighting skills compared to you, beat the lesson into you. Then you and your friends will be banned, reprimanded and have the bruises to match. The choice is yours, cretin." His words would rattle like thunder, hit like a bullet and burn like acid. His tone and pacing with the words all lashed out with a deadly conviction and power behind them that wouldn't be denied. The aggressive and different sounding voice coupled with his his vibrantly red eyes, all completed the ensemble. The boy was being attacked on two fronts, violently with words as well as whatever Rocco would have planned next. Tadashi wouldn't dare say it, because the poetry would be in the surprise. But when the boy's family discovered just who exactly their son had harassed, he would pay dearly. If not from his family, than the rest of Airdalen will know just what a disrespectful creep this guy was. He could be ruined if this got out of hand. Tadashi had absolutely zero tolerance regarding harassment of this nature.

It was without question. Fuyuki was really uncomfortable in her current position and being touched by this buffoon. It made her think of cruel things and it's rather ironic since she should be a pure shrine maiden, the word is pure. "It would be wise to release me, sir." Her tone was still polite, her lips providing that cordial smile, but her eyes held a gaze of a sharp blade. "I am after all a dangerous person." As if to put emphasis on that, the bells jingled eerily, the same ones which she had told Jay before as a warning device.

Then as if on cue, her gentleman thief arrived. "Oh, hello there!" She perked up, the sharpness of her eyes reduced into obvious fondness. Some were rather surprised as well, because she seemed to forget instantly her situation. "Of course!" She confirmed that lunch is still free. It was only when the baboon of a man spoke that she recalled her situation. She released a sigh at this. "Just a moment, okay?" She then struggled to break free. "Unhand me, I have work to do now." It was at this point that her attention was taken by Rocco's ominous laughter. She wasn't bothered really and instead, her eyes held that knowing look.

"You were right. Maybe I am a thief."

She smiled softly at that statement. "Then, steal me away." It was then he felt herself being taken away from that uncomfortable place and into another's. This one, though, she has no resistance. She settled comfortably as she was told to prepare his lunch. "As you wish." There was not an ounce of concern on her, either she didn't care for Rocco who helped her or she had complete trust in him. She then calmly walked away towards where the kitchen is to place an order. Others found her demeanor rather odd and surreal. After a while, she exited the kitchens then returned to them. She had heard the wonderful flowing words of Shi-kun. She's a lucky girl to have them her out. So, the least she could do was not to have this escalate and clean up. "Shi-kun." Her voice was so light as she called out and placed a hand on his arm. "It should be fine now. Though, I would leave it to you to handle the consequences of their actions in relations to Inryoku." A gentle smile on her face as she gazed at Shi-kun.

Then, she looked at her gentleman thief. "You worked hard for your meal, didn't you?" Her other hand was placed on his arm. "It's still being prepared but, I assure you it would be worth it!" She cheerfully stated. "For now, here is a reward to you two." She removed her hands on the boys' arms and from her pocket, she procured two pieces of konpeito and then placed a piece on their lips with her candle-like finger. When they ate it, she smiled with a sweetness that the tensed situation was seemingly forgotten, just for a moment though.

The perverted buffoon had his phone ringing. "I believe you should answer that, Matsuda-san." She looked at the boy who looked at her suspiciously, but then answered it and soon grew deathly pale. "You will still answer to our club rules. For now, you and your friends sir, please leave the premises for causing a disturbance." She then held the hands of both boys. "Come now you, two. Lunch is about to end." She returned Shi-kun to his table while leading Rocco to an empty one while the maid that assisted him earlier placed down the meal Fuyuki ordered for him. It consisted of grilled kangaroo with vegetable sides, cheese and bacon rolls, crab sticks, a vanilla slice and then matcha tea. "Enjoy the meal, Rocky-kun!" A nickname just for him. "You as well, Shi-kun!" Followed, by the sound of bells.

"I THINK YOU'VE DONE ENOUGH HERE." Rocco turned around and fixed his posture after dodging another poor attempt of a punch. It didn't even go through his mind that someone might step in. Bystanders were more common. Rocco stood in place just observing, watching as he (Tadashi) tongue-lashed the hell out of the poor loser. "You need to leave immediately! As a member of Inryoku, you and ALL of your friends are forever BANNED from this cafe. I will ensure that you are never served here again and that the school faculty is notified, as well as whoever has the misfortune of being your parents." Rocco didn't know men worked at the cafe too. He had only seen women on his way in. It wasn't a bad idea actually as a means to pass time. Maybe he should think about becoming a host.. Then again, he didn't like cleaning up after others like that. It would just be fun to meet and flirt with girls. He took a good look at the angry guy (Tadashi) whose eyes burned red with a booming voice that demanded undivided attention. Will you look at that? he thought, the dude's (Tadashi) eyes really out of place from the norm.

"But if you insist in making a scene, I've no qualms with this boy here-" Rocco looked at him (Tadashi) further when the gesture was made his way, curious what the guy would say about him during such an outburst. "Who appears to have far superior fighting skills compared to you, beat the lesson into you. Then you and your friends will be banned, reprimanded and have the bruises to match. The choice is yours, cretin." Rocco smirked at the unexpected development. So I'm the backup threat. He didn't mind especially because he got paid a compliment. In a deeper voice he said, "I get permission, huh? Oh goody..." Rocco removed his hands from his pockets at last, flexing the fingers that had gone numb. "If you put it like that, it would be my pleasure to serve you." He swept into a mock bow in the spirit of the location as a host club. The final 'you' talking about the attacker and serve? Well that was up for interpretation. Raising his head, he poked his tongue out teasingly at the guilty party with eyes that encased an unspeakable danger. If he was really given permission, he didn't have to hold back.

"Shi-kun." Fuyuki returned and spoke with the angry guy who went by 'Shi-kun' first. Rocco paid it no mind as he kept his gaze focused on the troublemaker and his friends for any sign that he should do his side of the threat. He wouldn't think twice about fighting now because he had been handed the right after all. "You worked hard for your meal, didn't you?" Fuyuki speaking to him now, he looked back at her but the menacing atmosphere around his form did not waver. He was oozing bad vibes that a few customers avoided his view in fear, shrinking behind furniture and lower in their chairs. It was the opposite of how he is regularly perceived as a cute-faced boy proving just how bad underestimation can be.

The brunette girl held his arm nevertheless. "It's still being prepared but, I assure you it would be worth it!" Rocco nodded his head. "Okay. Thank you." He was an unpredictable beast but in some way kept his manners. "For now, here is a reward to you two." He looked back at the troublesome guys to check that everything was under control but he felt a soft touch against his lips. Unable to resist knowing what was going on, he looked down at Fuyuki as she pressed something resembling candy to him. It was giving him indecent thoughts. Rocco consented, why wouldn't he? He opened his mouth accepting the treat, the taste lost on him because of those thoughts he was having. That would be his little secret because he had landed his arse in trouble too many times in one day already and his exhaustion was making its reappearance.

A phone's ringtone went off and Fuyuki didn't delay in what was to happen next, leading him to believe she had orchestrated it."You will still answer to our club rules. For now, you and your friends sir, please leave the premises for causing a disturbance." Rocco did see the attacker's face drain of all its color but instead of wasting his time staring at that, he looked to Fuyuki wondering what sort of little devil she is behind that dignified innocence. Ursula is her precious friend eh? Rocco was beginning to like Japanese women more and more. They were very interesting.

"Come now you, two. Lunch is about to end." He let the cheerful girl lead very comfortable with any intimate interactions and his hand warm against hers. Lucky last to a table after 'Shi-kun', he admired the food laid before him and shifted gears back to the face of a harmless junior, reassured that everything was fine. "Enjoy the meal, Rocky-kun!" He preferred the nickname 'gentleman thief' but Fuyuki got back to work like there was no altercation and he would leave it alone. He had to settle his starving stomach. Looking over the food, it was more plentiful than he envisioned it would be. She's spoiling me. What really captured his attention was the meat he recognized after taking a bite. Kangaroo huh? Is it the accent that gave me away? He would eat his food peacefully, glancing out the window on random occasions and casually leaning an arm over the empty seat beside him as he pondered this new and busy school life of his.

Tadashi was physically upset, but the internal storm was tempered and being constructively projected on the troublemakers within the cafe. His eyes glanced towards Rocco seeing the falsely appearing innocent junior ready his fists fora fight. He did hear an accent when he (Rocco) spoke. It was different that the usual, not quite British. But he was focusing on the matter at hand. He'd glare lasers of death at all the boys that caused the incident from the beginning. A hand grabbed his attention, he turned to see Fuyuki smiling up at him. Suddenly, he felt subconscious about his upset demeanor having demonstrated in front of her despite it's eloquent message and performance. "Shi-kun. It should be fine now. Though, I would leave it to you to handle the consequences of their actions in relations to Inryoku." He sighed and nodded to Fuyuki, relenting. He wished that the girl (Fuyuki) was more upset, but he wasn't going to be the kind to fight a battle for someone. However he did plan on seeing this through. "Hai, Fuyu-kun."

When Fuyuki lead them away he glared back at the boys still standing there. "For now, here is a reward to you two." "Hm? Ah-" Of all the things he didn't expect, it was for Fuyuki to intimately feed him candy. In his mind, he had several flashbacks of her (Fuyuki) doing this to him when they were kids. It was innocent then, because they were children but now the perception of what she did could be seen as something very different. Tadashi's cheeks were, partially from the sweetness and partially from the intimate display between them three. He ate the candy, hearing a cellphone ring. He relished in the boys' reactions as a phone call seemed to ring, the timing and coincidence was uncanny. He couldn't realistically hope that it was for what the boy had done to Fuyuki. "I believe you should answer that, Matsuda-san. You will still answer to our club rules. For now, you and your friends sir, please leave the premises for causing a disturbance." Matsuda, he would do well to remember that name.

Tadashi went back to sit at his table, seeing his. When he first saw the boy harass Fuyuki, he had lost his appetite but now it surged back and he was even more hungry. Tadashi would slowly begin eating, glaring at this Matsuda character with deep red eyes intimidating him to leave faster. When they eventually left, he looked to Fuyuki who had begun to serve Rocco his rather lavish meal. "Fuyu-kun. I will, but you take care as well. I apologize, for making a scene." He'd bow his head towards his old friend (Fuyuki) and finished his meal. During such, he'd take subtle glances towards Rocco, having heard him referred to as Rocky-kun. Fuyuki was rather fond of giving people nicknames, even if they didn't like it.

He wouldn't speak to Rocco openly during his meal, slowly cooling his temper. His eyes would shift from their blazing red, to an even red/purple settling in the middle much like an equalizer. By the time he had finished his meal, Tadashi was calmed down and back to his regular self. If Rocco spoke to him, he would answer any questions. But his demeanor would be hesitant to completely open himself up, something about this Rocky-kun was unsettling. He had used the compliment of violence earlier as back up to his words, but from the eagerness of him (Rocco) willing to fight and the perceived willingness to be openly intimate with Fuyuki. Tadashi was beginning to get a rough idea, that this Rocky-kun wasn't much better than Matsuda. But he'd wait and see, he'd be watching and listening to Rocco closely while he sat. Their alliance was a matter of convenience, both not wanting to see Fuyuki in a stranger's arms. But the motivation for their actions were yet to be deciphered and compared. And Tadashi wasn't convinced yet.

"Hmm?" Fuyuki tilted her head to the side while blinking those big almond-shaped eyes of hers. She was rather confused as to why Tadashi apologizing. Then, she remembered, manners. "There's nothing to apologize for Shi-kun." She noted as she straightened herself and bowed her head, representing an effortless grace. "It is I who should be apologizing for not handling that properly. Because of my carelessness, I had Shi-kun and Rocky-kun, whom are guests involved in this matter." Her words flowed with a somber yet dignified tone. "Please accept my apology to both of you. Shi-kun. Rocky-kun." It was fortunate that their tables were near each other, so she wouldn't need to speak twice.

Seconds passed to show her sincerity, then she straightened herself up. That elegant and cheerful smile back on her face. "I'll also try to be careful, Shi-kun." She then looked at both boys. "But, I believe I would be fine since you my noble knight are here." Her eyes landing on Tadashi with that familiar warmth sparkling behind her eyes. "Then, there is also my gentleman thief." This time, she looked at Rocco with that fondness. "I had no doubts." She then took a step forward and patted both of them on the head gently. After a while, she pulled away with a warm smile and her eyes held a mysterious familiarity.

"Then, let me excuse myself. I'm still on the shift after all. If you need anything else, please don't hesitate to call for me." Offering another sophisticated bow, this time, her arms that were positioned in front of her were able to prevent a peek-a-boo to her chest valley due to the looseness of her clothes around it. Whether that was intentional or not, there was no gap from her movements. It was a smooth transition as she left to serve the others. It seemed it was a good idea to join this club indeed.

Just like so, she returned to serving. To the eyes of others, the new girl was certainly odd and yet charming. She never once lost her composure throughout the situation. It was safe to say that it was those who came to save her who did in her place. There was not even a sense of fear or trembling on her form. Her eyes were not cloudy and her smile did not have shadows behind it. She was definitely a strong-willed girl, but that also meant she was a person that would be involved in many troubles. Now, they only need to have courage to reach for her. If they indeed want to have someone like her in their lives, but as she would advise them to do it at their own risk. That's because she is dangerous.

Well, there's no denying that lunch was really eventful, isn't it? This was definitely different from her former school where the most exciting thing was the change in faculty adviser. That's why Fuyuki was on cloud 9 really. This was the most fun she had recently, plus she was able to observe a lot of interesting people along with reuniting with old acquaintances. But, it's not done yet. The day has yet to end and this is just midpoint. It seemed that her boredom won't be visiting her anytime soon. It's a good thing she did transfer, speaking of which she should thank her fiancé. If it wasn't for him, she would not have come. And so, that would be on her to-do list later this afternoon.

For now, she continued her serving duties with a bright disposition. A new customer came as she happily greeted, "Irasshaimase!". Followed by her trademarked sound of bells.

Rocco was ignoring everything around him until he heard a mention of him. "But, I believe I would be fine since you my noble knight are here. Then, there is also my gentleman thief." Rocco looked back at Fuyuki who was talking to ‘Shi-kun’ and calling him a ‘noble knight.’ Noble? But a knight doesn’t send a thief to back him up. He thought and coughed behind a closed fist, not eager to start another fight. He had a lunch to enjoy. "I had no doubts." He received a pat on the head like the other guy. This attention sharing wasn’t fun compared to when he had a girl to himself but Fuyuki was a balancing act. "Then, let me excuse myself. I'm still on the shift after all. If you need anything else, please don't hesitate to call for me." He waved, picking up his matcha tea. Unlike ‘Shi-kun’, he didn’t feel sorry for anything.

Gen received a concerning text from a senior member of the Inryoku-in-waiting, visiting the cafe immediately to check the damage. "Was anyone hurt?" She was in the dark about what happened but it must have been bad if the aftermath required replacing a table and patching up the walls. She assisted in the clean up to get the cafe back into tip top shape as the senior member informed her that one of the newest additions (Fuyuki) on shift today was involved but no one was injured. Gen closed her eyes and nodded, unhappy to hear it because that did not sound like a good first day of work. "Please tell Hakuryu-san to come see me when the shift is over." Upon finishing the cleanup and covering the marks in the walls with paintings in the meantime, her crucifix eyes scanned the customers currently present. Whatever happened, the customers appeared to have put it behind them. She recognized a few faces among them (Akira, Bishop, Tadashi). A particular face stood out to her as a boy she hadn't yet become acquainted with by the name of Murray, Rocco. He was her junior partner, identifying him from the photo attached to the folder she received at the assembly. Now was a good time as any to make introductions.

Gen approached his table wearing a sweet smile dearly hoping they would get along. The first junior assigned to her was very unpleasant. "Hello darling~" Rocco sipped his matcha tea then looked up to see a cute girl greet him. She wasn't wearing a maid outfit like the other hostesses but it still matched the theme in a more conservative way. He did like being called darling and he wondered if that was a hostess mannerism for her. “Hello.” he placed his drink down and leaned forward on the table to show his attention was hers. Her eyes were unique, just like 'Shi-kun's' but in colors and shape. He was intrigued if it was real or some strange contacts. "I apologize for interrupting your lunch but I had to introduce myself. I'm not sure if you are aware but here at Airdalen Academy, there's a senior and junior pairing system to help your assimilation into high school life. I'm Fukui, Gen and I'll be your senior should you need anything." she explained, closing her eyes and smiling as her copper earrings followed her movements. Rocco looked like a nice boy to her and she was happy to find him enjoying himself in her club's cafe of all places. At least he would appreciate the work she does.

“Ohh that sounds like fun. I'm Murray, Rocco." he relaxed leaning back in his chair. It was a surprise he was paired with a hostess but it was a nice detail. He would enjoy spending time with a hostess especially one of her unique variety. "Charmed~ I'll let you return to your meal. Please enjoy, darling~" Gen replied with a soft musical voice as if she had no doubts about to leave him to his lunch now that their meeting was done but Rocco had other ideas in mind.“If you aren't busy, sit with me." he patted the empty chair beside him, his arm still leaning over it in a casual way. Gen turned around, her gaze following where he gestured. She was technically off the clock so there was no harm if she wanted to socialize some more but his arm on that chair bothered her a little. "Okay~" She complied, sitting in the very chair he offered but not leaning back into it to avoid touching his arm. She thought he would remove his arm once she sat down but he didn't. "Is there something you'd like to talk about?" she asked, her discomfort not showing on her features. As it was her school responsibility to ensure Rocco was doing fine as a student, she tried her best to please him. The last thing she wanted was another bad pairing experience if she could help it.

“Let's talk about you, darling." his voice got lower as he dropped his arm from the chair to Gen's shoulders. He could sense burning glares sent his way the moment he did that but he just held her closer with unwavering confidence and curious eyes staring deep into those crucifix irises of hers. “I like your eyes. Are they real?" Gen leaned away as much as she could manage, one hand placed readily on his chest in case she would have to shove him away. She understood his curiosity as a question she had been asked many times before but they were too close it looked like they were going to kiss. Her admirers in the cafe were boiling with hatred for Rocco but he ignored them, awaiting her answer. He did catch some of what they said though, details like her being the club's president. That was even more interesting. He had hit the senior lottery. Gen forced to stare back, got a better look at Rocco's face. He came across as quite cute and innocent. Hopefully, she was overthinking and the close contact was because he is a foreigner with different customs.. that he really was just curious and wanted a better look. "Yes, they are.."

Rocco smiled wider but there was a hint of mischief in his next words. “Nice. I could stare at them all day and all night long.." Gen had a pure mind so she didn't understand what he was trying to say. "Thank you." she accepted the compliment politely, waiting for him to give her space back. Rocco was impressed. This girl had the fortitude of the great wall of China. Gen didn't blush with their closeness and her hand on his chest was the only warning. Rocco let her shoulder go but he held the hand of hers that was on him, her fingers slender and soft in his grasp. He stayed holding hands like that but dropped it from his chest to the table's surface. He acted natural in all of his intimate gestures that some of the watchers out of earshot mistook him for Gen's boyfriend and saying she was just shy to public displays of affection. He was really good at misleading people. “I'm really glad to have a senior like you. I think we'll have a lot of fun, don't you?"

Eating in piece, his mind stewed and roiled with thoughts and ideas. He obsessively played back the previous moments in the cafe over and over again going over every detail he could recount from memory. His mind switched from focusing on Fuyuki to Rocco to the former assailant and a dozen other things his mind was tracking. As he did such, his eyes would actively be shifting from red to purple similar to ocean waves on the beach. Fluctuating back and forth mimicking the sea of emotions inside of his his head. It didn't however, delay his meal as he ate. He looked down at his table in deep thought, plotting his next course of action. Tadashi wasn't going to let this go very easily, after what those boys had done to his place of work.

During his time, he'd only cast glances towards Rocco still extremely suspicious of him. He did notice the slight smirk, the cough after being called a 'knight' and so on. It was beginning to paint a picture of his opinion of Rocco but it was far from complete, still in it's fledgling stages. A familiar shade of hair had entered the cafe, grabbing his attention. It was Gen. He perked up slightly, pushing his plate away to finish off his dessert treat. As much as he wanted to stand up and speak with the girl (Gen) he would let her conduct her business as the Inryoku president should. It was interesting watching her work, he remembered when she was just a member of the club but now she was leading it and was doing a splendid job doing so. He couldn't help but be proud.

As he came to the end of his dessert, he couldn't help but notice that his dear friend Gen had made a line towards this Rocco fellow. Two old friends some his past having to deal business with this character, the coincidence was uncanny. His eyes shifted red just slightly as he glanced over to see them both talking. Gen being her polite and cordial self while this Rocky-kun was being sly just as he had seen before. As a silent observer, he let the actions of the boy add further strokes would end up being Tadashi's general first impression of him. It was not looking favorable, but true to painting they were not set in stone. His presumption that this boy (Rocco) was in fact no better than Matsuda earlier. He had felt foolish for paying thie boy a compliment, but their allegiance at that time was for the betterment of Fuyuki and his handsy-ness with her (Fuyuki) was sign enough as it was. His eyes had turned full red now, but he relented noting that Gen's demeanor was rather stalwart and she wasn't easily affected.

He watched it all play out, with Rocco eventually backing off but only so far. He was persistent, which turned into an annoyance. With a sigh, Tadashi stood and organized his table to make it a more easily cleanable mess for this workers here. Pushing in his chair, Tadashi walked over to Gen to whisper into her ear. Beyond what the two (Gen and Rocco) had said allowed, Tadashi didn't know what was exchanged between them. "Gen-chan, when you have a moment. I'd like to discuss with you, it's regarding the incident earlier. You may have heard already, but I'd like to speak with you personally about it. I'll be heading towards the principle's office, to report has happened." He'd allow her time to acknowledge him, not giving out any real details for the sake of respectable privacy. He then turned to Rocco. "As a junior you'd do well to respect boundaries. I understand you're foreign, but it's customary to keep one's hands to themselves. You had done a good thing, defending Hakuryu-chan. Don't spoil it."

As he spoke, Rocco would see his again pure red eyes giving him an unwelcomed gaze. Nothing overtly hostile, but the fact that he was leaving with a bad taste in his mouth of Rocco was evident. If he had hoped to appear like a charming innocent boy, it was ruined by his behavior in a public space. He would speak allowed definitely for Gen to hear, but no one else if they weren't actually paying attention. He would leave the cafe, checking on the other workers before doing so seeing if they were alright and would make his way towards the principle's office.

Fuyuki was really delighted with this conversation between Bishop and Akira. They were already on her good-things list because of their hair colors and foreign blood. Now, they were rising through the ranks because of their brightness. It was really nice talking to people in this carefree and casual manner without boundaries. She really doesn't like talks riddled with formalities and overstuffed pleasantries. It was plain atrocious and BORING.

This kind of talk is good, because she learned something again. "British? That's cool!" She then had a thoughtful look. "Argyris?" She said as if wondering if she said it right, then her eyes flashed the light of recognition. "Oh, Lady Elegy! So, she's your senior partner. How lucky!" She then looked around for a bit as if looking for something or rather someone. "That reminds me, I haven't seen her around. I can't miss that charming pink hair of hers." She then looked back at Akira with a friendly smile. "If you do see her before me, please pass my greetings." Her cheerful temperament held a certain degree of elegance denoting that she knew Cassiopeia on a certain level of formality.

She then giggled lightly on how Bishop answered her question about the glasses. It wasn't because Bishop was looking like a fool which was the prevailing thoughts of those who were watching them. She actually giggled, because he looked so fetchingly adorable. For the glasses, they weren't prescription so, it was fine. She does wear reading glasses as her brothers told her not to strain her eyes even if she doesn't have problems. "Thank you very much, B-kun!" She replied happily and that smile of hers were like that of blooming flowers. She was really happy hearing him say that he liked it.

The customers present were blushing at the sight. She then returned to being a hostess when she heard Akira's order. "Two crepes. No chocolate." She wrote that down and had a disappointing look. "No chocolate. That is rather sad, but that's how it is." She noted more to herself, before focusing again on Bishop who ordered as well. "Chicken teriyaki bowl and miso soup! Got it! Please wait a moment." She gave a refined bow of her head as she left the two for now. While waiting for the order to be done, she catered to the nearby tables as well. When it was done, she happily returned to where Bishop and Akira were.

"Here are your orders. Two fruit salad crepes. Chicken Teriyaki Bowl Miso soup. Two Bubble Iced Teas." She placed it on their table. "Don't worry about the teas, okay? Now, enjoy your meals." She gracefully bowed her head, but before leaving. She remembered something. "Oh, right B-kun, I hoped you don't mind, but if it's not much would you accompany me to afternoon classes after this? I remembered hearing that Senior and Junior classrooms are near each other." She looked at Bishop with fondness that the other guys who had now developed a crush on Fuyuki were glaring daggers at him, how fortunate he was to walk with her. Well, whatever the answer was, she finally left the two and continued with her work until the bell rang. "Oh, shift's over... Ah, right." She clapped her hands as she looked around and found the person she had to talk to. "Oh, excuse me." Rocco and Tadashi were also there as she smiled fondly at both. "I hope I'm not interrupting anything." She then looked at Gen warmly. "I was told that I should talk to Gen when my shift's over."

Gen was startng to believe her new junior partner wasn't as innocent as he appeared to be. Getting a closer look at her eyes was one thing but holding hands was another. She could hear customers and staff alike in the background being mislead about her relationship with Rocco. This would certainly not do. Gen would not tolerate being made a fool of in her own club. It also didn't align with her personal agenda of finding love in her senior year. She was not going to be tied down to a boy she had just met. Interrupting her thoughts, Tadashi came over and whispered in her ear. "Gen-chan, when you have a moment. I'd like to discuss with you, it's regarding the incident earlier. You may have heard already, but I'd like to speak with you personally about it. I'll be heading towards the principle's office, to report has happened." Gen's eyes widened slightly, nodding when Tadashi withdrew. The more witnesses she talked to the better she could understand the situation. It was her responsibility to ensure incidents not be repeated and all those who had endangered others be held accountable for their actions. Well, she did the same reporting Aeon even though it was not at Inryoku. Students have a right to safety.

"As a junior you'd do well to respect boundaries. I understand you're foreign, but it's customary to keep one's hands to themselves. You had done a good thing, defending Hakuryu-chan. Don't spoil it." Her eyes shifted to Rocco at those words, her crucifix gaze upon him. Gen was going to explain that to him later personally but Tadashi had beaten her to the punch. What intrigued her most was how Tadashi pointed out that Rocco had gotten involved in that earlier incident and defended Fuyuki. Rocco didn't come across as a knight in shining armor and it gave her more reason to be cautious as thankful as she was. "Thank you dear~ I'll talk to you later!" she said to Tadashi, not setting a time or place to have that talk because they had a lot of time now that they were going to live together.

The conclusion of lunch was signaled by the bell and also signaled she didn't have to amuse Rocco's behavior anymore especially now that Tadashi had informed him it was impolite. "Apologies darling~ It appears my time is up." Their hands still linked, she pulled it closer over her shoulder then wiggled her fingers out of his grasp to sit her thumb on his pulse. There was pressure and force applied but not enough to leave a mark or create pain. "Your time is up also." she smiled sweetly even though there was a hint of threat carried in her voice. She threw his hand away from her and got up from her chair, tucking it in neatly under the table. "We'll have fun if that is what you wish." she answered his question with perfect hostess manners but that threat was still coating it. Rocco should have done his research on the Inryoku president first before hitting on her as there are certain things she is known for. Gen was no stranger to flirting but she is very specific on what kind she will condone because of her ideals. She bowed gracefully about to make her leave but Fuyuki caught up with her first. "I hope I'm not interrupting anything. I was told that I should talk to Gen when my shift's over."

Gen smiled as if nothing was amiss, her fans in the background with hearts in their eyes after her little aggressive side showed a bit. There were people who were interested in that kind of personality and she was one of the few hostesses who fit that description in the directory if anyone was to check what her dere type is."Not at all. Let's talk over there please." she gestured towards the private staff room, walking after Fuyuki. "Bye, bye~" Gen waved at her junior then headed into the room for their discussion. Once inside, she decided to multitask changing out of the uniform while listening to Fuyuki's story. "I hope you don't mind if we talk and change. I wouldn't want us to be late." she explained, unbuttoning her top. There were no issues for Gen changing because Fuyuki is another girl and the room was big enough to accommodate both of them. "I'm sorry to hear that your first day wasn't the best. It's not an often occurrence I assure you." Down to her underwear, she reached for the hanger with her uniform. "We will take measures to make sure Inryoku continues to be a safe working environment but to do that, please tell me all you can about the incident."

Rocco got a free lunch and a hostess for company. He was lucky but someone had to come over eventually and spoil the fun. He watched closely as 'Shi-kun' whispered into the hostess' ear. It annoyed him like Matsuda-san because he doesn't like to share the attention of girls he's with. "As a junior you'd do well to respect boundaries. I understand you're foreign, but it's customary to keep one's hands to themselves. You had done a good thing, defending Hakuryu-chan. Don't spoil it." Rocco looked at Fuyuki's 'noble knight' staring back at him with a blood red gaze but didn't budge. He wasn't going to take a threat seriously from him. This guy has grown an ego after some yelling. Rocco let him go without a word but the bell rang. Good thing he already finished eating but he must really catch up with this unique hostess senior of his..

"Apologies darling~ It appears my time is up." Rocco innocently pouted but Gen wasn't falling for it anymore. Her hand moved out of his grasp and his hand was re-positioned into her control. Oh.. the tide has turned. He felt the pressure of her once delicate fingers applied on his pulse and he had to bite back the urge to laugh in amusement. "Your time is up also." She smiled sweet but her tone of voice didn't match up. Rocco really wanted to laugh. Japanese women were really different and far from boring. It's like I've met my twin. We both look innocent but we're capable of much... much more. He had been prepared for the rough release of his hand and pocketed it after acting indifferent. "We'll have fun if that is what you wish." Rocco smirked, his innocent facade crumbling out of choice. "Oh it is. Let's definitely have fun."

"Oh, excuse me." Rocco turned around in his seat at Fuyuki's familiar voice. "I hope I'm not interrupting anything." Gen and Fuyuki began talking. He leaned his cheek over his knuckles looking bored as the ladies talked because it had nothing to do with him. But he did take the chance to observe his surroundings. The cafe crowd was glaring at him intently and admiring the two hostesses. He understood the hate for him because he had average looks and still managed to snag the attention of women who appeared out of his league. It wasn't personal. "Bye, bye~" Rocco waved back at Gen with a friendly smile then got up from his seat. Lunch was over and he just remembered he had to talk to Ursula.

Unfortunately, the junior got lost on the large school grounds. He didn't know where the senior class would be either. Ruffling his hair back, he spotted a girl (Misaki) by herself and fortunately, working up the courage to talk to her was nothing. He walked over with his hands in his pockets and a friendly smile on. "Hello, you got time to help a poor guy out?" he asked, his brown eyes staring directly into her green. "I'm Murray, Rocco. Junior class. So, you see I'm still new to the buildings. It's going to take some time to get used to." he laughed nervously, trying to come off as embarrassed about being lost to play into some sympathy. "I'm looking for the senior class. One of the seniors is expecting me. I'm hoping she'll give me a map. I don't want to be a bother to pretty ladies like you. I'm sure you've got other things to deal with." He lied about his intentions with Ursula and sprinkled in a true compliment. The dark violet-haired girl was pretty and that was a bonus to finding his way.

[font=cambria]Lunch had gone by so peacefully, but she didn't get to see anything worthwhile. No boys were horseplaying near the spot she chose, it seemed most of the school had gone to the Cafeteria..or maybe Inryoku? She heard that place was popular among guys and girls, but she didn't see the appeal. She wanted to see guys hanging out with each other, flirting with each other, not with her. It was so typical, heterosexual couples. They were everywhere, but it was truly heartwarming seeing two boys expressing affection toward another, or even fighting. Just the taboo of that kind of relationship... it made her heart flutter just thinking about it.

"Hello, you got time to help a poor guy out?"

Jumping out of her sin when someone approached and tore her from her increasingly indecent thoughts, Misaki's emerald orbs scanned the owner of the voice as she gathered her things. He had a boyish charm, that she could give him. Standing up and dusting the back of her skirt off, Misaki made a point to make sure the bench didn't get her skirt wet or dirty somehow. Before it might not have mattered, but these days she was attracting a bunch of undesired attention. Once she was confident her uniform was tidy her attention returned to him, only then realizing they were the same height...like virtually the exact same height, "I don't see why not...?" She responded, her voice in its soft, default setting. He seemed to be a junior or at the very least a new student, given she did not recognize him, and she usually recognized every boy she had ever seen..given her interests. Although she could have been wrong, her impression was that he was a junior given his young features. That or he was just a shounen-ai character that had come to life. Snapping back into reality before she began theoretically pairing him with other boys in the school, Misaki adjusted the strap of her bag over her left shoulder. Lunch was over so it was really best to get to class soon, but she would hear him out first.

"I'm Murray, Rocco. Junior class. So, you see I'm still new to the buildings. It's going to take some time to get used to."

Giggling a bit, Misaki bit back her amusement, "I got lost all the time my first year." She informed him. Somebody had once told her that it was easier to get over an uncomfortable situation if someone else who had experienced something similar shared their own embarrassing story. Recounting her own ordeal was an attempt to make him feel better, the violet haired girl unaware that he was faking. Misaki was really thick when it came to things like that, so it worked without a hitch. So... he's lost? Almost sounds like the premise to a manga...if he was talking to an attractive upperclassman instead of me... She thought to herself, finding it adorable, but she was a little disappointed that the moment was wasted on her instead of her being able to hide and witness him interacting with one of the senior boys. Her idea of 'adorable'.. was not in the same sense that most girls, Misaki was kind of...broken. She only paired boys with other boys. While she could admit he was cute, it was nothing more than an observation. Misaki... she never considered heterosexual romance, let alone having feelings for or forming a crush on anyone herself.

"I'm looking for the senior class. One of the seniors is expecting me. I'm hoping she'll give me a map. I don't want to be a bother to pretty ladies like you. I'm sure you've got other things to deal with."

Eyes widening as he called her pretty, her cheeks flushed a bit and she quickly changed the subject, "O...Oh. Yeah, our classes are close by. Just follow me!" She smiled warmly, starting to walk ahead, but glancing over her shoulder to make sure that he was coming. She didn't want to leave him in the dust after agreeing to help him. That would be rude, but she couldn't help feeling apprehensive, "O-oh yeah! I am Serinuma, Misaki. A senior." She stammered, almost completely forgetting to introduce herself to him after his compliment. She made sure to not get more than a few steps ahead of him as they walked to their classes, and she opened the door to the proper building, "Our classes we are going to are in here. My class is...LAB G.3 BUILDING C... The senior you're looking for could be there. I think yours should be near there too." She made a point to bring it up, so he could recognize it's entrance in the future. After giving him a moment to take in the appearance of building C, Misaki stepped inside and led him through until they made it to the entrance of her classroom. It didn't take too long, given how flustered she was. Her pace was a bit...quick.

Turning to face him for the first time since he called her pretty, Misaki smiled nervously, "I hope you find who you are looking for. I really should find a seat.." barely noticing the moment between Devone and Ryou. Normally she would have sat toward the back, as she usually did, but instead, she took one of the first seats available, sitting on the available side of Sora. She wouldn't get to watch the boys in class interact if she was at the front, but right now she just wanted to sit. Letting her head rest on her right arm, Misaki laid her head down, concealing her face against the desk. Today had been far too eventful, first with Kazuki... then Devone's implications... her close call with the boy in Tag Rugby (Chase), and being called pretty by the friendly junior..? She felt exhausted. This is not the kind of stuff she enjoyed. All of it, it made her a nervous wreck. She couldn't handle things like compliments or compromising potentially 'romantic' situations. She was...an observer, a connoisseur of male-to-male relationships. Why couldn't everyone leave her out of it now that she had lost weight? Sure, no one seemed to recognize her, but she wasn't thrilled by the new attention. I'm not looking to be swept off my feet... it's so exhausting... Why do girls want this...? Now that her face was hidden, her entire face heated up, all of her embarrassment from that day piling up as her thoughts returned to each scenario. The only indication was her ears turning red unto her knowledge. Sora seemed preoccupied so she wasn't exceptionally worried, thus it slipped her mind.

Rocco observed the violet-haired girl's reaction. She was startled by him coming over to chat. Now that he thought about it, it was strange that she was sitting all alone. There are a lot of girls sitting alone in this school. There was Devone, Yuuki and her (Misaki). It wasn't bad news. Picking up girls was going to be a piece of cake for guys like him because he can talk to them one on one when he feels like it. "I don't see why not...?" She had a nice soft voice and he could get used to that. Rocco looked at her and wore a relaxed smile at her willingness to help. They were the same height so maintaining eye contact was a lot easier than one of them having to adjust.

"I got lost all the time my first year."
"Haha you don't say." he replied, laughing nervously some more in the role of a lost junior and rubbing the back of his tousled hair. Rocco really was lost but he wasn't as helpless or embarrassed as he was acting. It was better this way because he might get turned down for assistance if he pulled out his other personality. Get help first, flirt later. He had his priorities right.. but there wasn't any harm in admitting she was pretty for now. That would be his opening first impression.

"O...Oh. Yeah, our classes are close by. Just follow me!"
He watched her cheeks flush and eyes widen after his compliment. It was the exact reaction he'd hope from teasing or complimenting most girls but in this case, it made him more curious about her. Sits alone and wears her heart on her sleeve. He lied a little but he wasn't lying about her looks. There was just something off about her. Yuuki and Devone's situations were clear about why they were alone. Devone had a notorious reputation and Yuuki, he heard the robotic label. But what about you? She (Misaki) didn't provide any reason to be an outcast like this. "Great, thanks." he returned her warm smile and followed but he noticed she began to stutter and made sure to walk ahead of him.

"O-oh yeah! I am Serinuma, Misaki. A senior."
He wanted to laugh because either she was a shy duckling or he had a great effect on her. Rocco hoped it was the latter because he got a kick out of teasing girls. "Serinuma-senpai? Okay. I hope we'll get a chance to meet again after this." he confirmed her name's pronunciation and committed it to the memory. He wasn't sure how schooling between seniors and juniors worked out around here but knowing him, he'd find ways to reconnect with girls he took an interest in. The violet-haired girl opened the door to a building and he kept it politely agape for the few students rushing in after him.

"Our classes we are going to are in here. My class is...LAB G.3 BUILDING C... The senior you're looking for could be there. I think yours should be near there too." He let go of the door allowing it to close when there weren't anymore students going inside. "I see. That's convenient." His eyes scanned around the interior growing confident about finding his way. The rooms were clearly labelled above. The only hassle was the crowd of students taking up space in the hallway and Misaki walking.. faster. Haha is she trying to lose me? Rocco was amused but not easily shaken off her trail, maneuvering through the crowd to keep up.

"I hope you find who you are looking for. I really should find a seat.."
Rocco assumed the senior was the shy type. Her smile was still friendly but nervous and he hadn't done anything except call her pretty. Piece of cake. I can't wait to dig into you. "Thanks again. You've been a great help." he smiled back with no trace of his lewd thoughts. Once Misaki moved to sit down, his eyes left her to look for his target and low and behold, Devone was still with the same guy he saw her leave gym with. His brown eyes locked on him (Ryou) wondering what his business with Ursula could possibly be to have taken up the entirety of lunch. Tall, athletic-looking and serious was his deduction. Rocco was not intimidated but he wasn't pleased. I've always seen Ursula alone. Who is he? He didn't have a good feeling about this. Call it just gut but the dark-haired male didn't come across as a taken advantage of loser. "Ursula. A word in private." Rocco's tone was serious, his eyes narrowed meeting the two's attention.

He became self-conscious about how bothered he looked. Ursula had never seen him this way, just light and flirty. He didn't want to leave the impression he was desperate for her or jealous. His eyes averted to Misaki, praise her for sitting so near him at the front. He took a step in her direction, his hand gently placed on top of hers that was left open to him over her desk. He leaned over her ear to whisper, biting back a chuckle because her ears were red. He didn't know how but he wished it was because she was embarrassed thinking of him. They were in each other's company seconds ago after all. "Rest easy, senpai." His voice was low and seductive for her ears only but if she didn't recognize him and had to look up, he'd smile the smile he had always shown her like he was harmless. He'd step back and pocket his hands again for Ursula's response, his confidence and playful smirk returning to him. You're not the only one who has other options so don't waste my time.

She noted Ryou's shrugging shoulders. She couldn't fault him for not being as affected by the cafeteria event like her. With his fans, maybe he was too used to causing a scene and it was just tiring for him. Plus she was sadistic about scaring and intimidating others. Ryou only acted out of necessity. "Better late than never." Devone smiled because even though he didn't share in her sadism, he wasn't opposed to it. "Indeed." She would have ended the discussion there but Ryou started staring at her and she knew that look all too well. He was analyzing her. It was different because she thought she was the only one trying to analyze him. "Hmm, I should thank them." Devone returned his gaze but only out of the corner of her eyes as they walked alongside one another. She caught a smile tugging at his lips and the way he looked at her was not a look she often received. Sincere and gentle. What have I said or done for this token? she thought skeptically. It's true that not much was known about Ryou even if one kept close attention to the rumor mill and they didn't spend time together until lately but it was getting increasingly harder to believe that he was putting on a show. He was not like anyone she had ever met before. She knew how to tell apart the liars, the abusers and the losers who tried to get the upper hand on her through personal experience. Ryou was not any of the above. At least, not in the ways that she knew of. But which is it? Are my observations failing me or am I faced with an alien? Any unknown territory for Devone is dangerous ground.

"Oh?" She questioned his reasons. It was weird that he expressed the desire to thank the hooligans who had been nothing but trouble. The paper airplane had robbed them of their good mood, isn't it? They were talking just fine until that moment that led them to leave the cafeteria behind in somewhat of a hurry. Oh. Maybe he found my face funny. Devone noted her change into her Ursula appearance was most likely the first time he had seen it up close. She also didn't believe he found it scary either because she recalled he had patted her shoulder during it. Does Giou-san find anything scary? There's an interesting thought.. Devone wasn't plotting to take his smile away as she already expressed subtly but that didn't mean she could stop being curious. Devone would always stay curious. Her thoughts ceased when Ryou moved to poke one of her faintly blushed cheeks that accompanied her giggling fit. His fans would probably die and go to heaven already in her shoes with holding hands and everything else that he was doing but it was his words that reached her more. "I heard and saw something good." Devone was quick to the meaning, her head turned to look at him more to check he wasn't joking or making fun of her. "It's good it made you happy." Ryou elaborated before his focus returned to their destination. Her available hand reached up to brush the spot he poked with her fingertips before her face changed into a childish sulk; her cheeks puffed up and that light blush still present. Devone really didn't understand Ryou although the key to understanding him was simple if she would only believe that such sincerity exists.

"Kim-san." Devone stopped sulking and she returned to her original collectedness as they stood before the allocated classroom. "I know you can handle yourself."Again? He repeated the line from lunch so she assumed what he had to say next wasn't going to be different and that the topic would once again be about the risk of being around him. "Do what you want, get what you want." She was wrong, her eyes widening slightly as she gazed up at him. The way she stared at him, it was like time stood still. What I want? His hand squeezed hers, a reminder that she wasn't swept up in an illusion. Her eyes softened because she didn't know how she should feel. So many questions were running through her mind trying to search for his angle or motive. "You deserve more than you think so." Devone stood firm like a statue when Ryou placed his hand on her head. She really could not spare a second to look away from those silver eyes because he didn't stop saying such unpredictable things. If she looked away, she might miss a sign that he was bluffing or miss a sign that it was authentic. She couldn't afford to miss any observation that might help her confused state. "I believe in you."

But should you? She followed him into the classroom silently as her thoughts raced. You have no idea who I am or what I've done.. what I'm willing to do. Her mother's killer Chey was locked away in her mansion and she would interrogate him soon after she was done here with classes. Honestly, she wanted him to suffer slowly and painfully. There was no doubt that this was the closest she had ever been to wanting to take a human life. He was so close and in her grasp. How could she not go through with vengeance? It was practically sitting waiting for her to take a stab. She had come so far and to falter now would write off everything she had done to reach this climax a waste of time and resources. Devone had abandoned the country and father she grew up with just to chase this despicable man. "Giou-san and Kim-san? Unusual. Today is most unusual." The senior class president's oddity for commenting on everything snapped her out of her silence. It wasn't like her to stand still in silence for so long. "You're too kind Giou-san but don't let me fool you." Her voice was playful and she even included a wink but she said it because she couldn't accept it. She was self-deprecating because she believed she was as horrible as the rumors around her suggested. How could someone so hated for all her life deserve more?

He released her hand and she half wondered if his words were a kind of parting message until the weekend. They sorted out the kris kringle arrangement and lunch time was well over. There was no reason to extend their time into science class and she knows Ryou only acts out of necessity. He was no longer needed in that regard. She fixed the strap of her bag on her shoulder but wasn't given the opportunity to decide how to proceed with him. "Ursula. A word in private." She turned her attention to the door where the recognizable voice came through. There was only one individual who kept calling her that openly instead of behind her back. "Murray-san, what do you want?" Her tone mirrored his serious one. She was surprised to see the brown-haired junior again because he had completely slipped her mind after deciding what was to be done with him. She had shifted the responsibility onto one of her debtors and ticked him off her to-do list. Such is life. she remarked to herself because people really are unpredictable creatures that kept her life occupied and entertaining. Instead of responding to her question right away, he made a display of flirting with Serinuma-san while her eyes were on him. This would not normally irritate her but that girl was getting more attention than she deserved. It was the second time in the day that her fellow senior was being flirted with right in front of her. I don't understand it. She's not bad but she's not drop dead gorgeous. I suppose weak men always go for the easier pickings.

Devone placed her hand on her hip impatiently. "You have 5 minutes." She glanced back one last time at Ryou with a polite bow of the head to end their discussion before walking past Rocco to exit the classroom. She would walk until she located an empty room to step inside of and faced the open window. The hallways were too busy and noisy at this time to talk about anything and she wasn't afraid to be alone with a male. It was as Ryou said, Devone can handle herself. Once she heard footsteps and the door shut, she spun around on her heel and the wind coming through the windows drew attention to the silkiness of her dark hair flowing behind her. "Go on. Entertain me."

Mom... I'll be visiting this weekend...

Yuuki pressed send after typing it out on her painfully outdated phone. She was eating in the hallway by herself. She didn't feel like going to the cafeteria or outside. The hallway was nice and empty, it gave her time to think. Touching her shoulder, her cheeks flushed again. She really needed to stop wearing a baggy uniform. She needed to find a way to buy a smaller one for the sake of her own health, one that fit properly. His lips had touched her bare skin, and the memory was not easily dismissed.

Really!? I'll leave it as a surprise for your father! I will make dinner! Are you really planning to ride the train by yourself?

Blinking several times, her chopsticks stuck out of her mouth as she read the text's contents. Yuuki could hear the excitement and worry in her mother's voice, even if they were over an hour away, even longer by train considering all of the stops it would make in between. Her mother wore her heart on her sleeve, something Yuuki had done as a child. It wasn't necessarily a bad thing, but Yuuki was glad she had changed. Her mother was often crying whenever she called home. Her emotions were so strong... She wasn't taking her husband's illness well. The question though... It was really hard to answer, but she couldn't lie to her parents.

No... I.. I have a classmate coming with me.

Sending the text, Yuuki finished up her food, just in time to hear the bell ringing. Classes would start and she really needed to get a move on. Standing up and dusting herself off, she continued on to her class, already in building C. After cleaning up Rocco's defiant graffiti, she went there for a quiet place to eat. Why did he bother to thank me? Yuuki asked herself but quickly dismissed it. She didn't understand boys at all, so trying to wrack her brain for his intentions was nothing more than torturing herself. Walking up the staircase she received another text, her mother obviously ecstatic.

A friend!? I'll set up the extra cot in your room!

Oh...my god...Mom! Yuuki thought to herself in disbelief. Her entire face turned red and in her flustered state, she tripped over one of the steps, colliding hard with the floor, landing on her forearms and knees. She wasn't normally a clumsy person, but she couldn't help it when her mother put that kind of image in her head. Pushing herself back to her feet, she inspected herself for injuries. She wasn't bleeding anywhere, but she did skin her knee a bit. The area was kind of red, but she would survive. She didn't have time to be a little kid about it. Ow.. It kind of stings... she thought to herself, wincing a bit as she walked.

No! It's not a girl! Do NOT put the cot in my room!

She sent that text faster than she had ever typed in her life. She went down the hall not really paying attention to where she was going until she nearly bumped into a random student in the hallway. Taking a few steps back, she noticed Sora in the classroom. Rocco was there as well, talking to a very pretty girl (Misaki) with hair similar to her own. The other girl's hair was fuller, darker, and longer, but still, it was a shade of purple. ....He definitely gets around... she thought to herself, shrugging it off. That was none of her business anyway. At least it meant everything that had happened was nothing personal. It would be a lot easier to move on from it now that she was certain it had no meaning. Seeing both Sora and Rocco in the same place reminded her that she had been exceptionally harsh on Sora... While she had the time, she wanted to apologize.

Taking a deep breath, Yuuki slipped past the student she nearly had a direct collision with and entered the senior classroom, approaching Sora's desk, "Harigae-Senpai? I know class is about to start, but I wanted to apologize. I was..." Searching for the proper word was difficult. Rude? Stupid? Wrong? There were so many ways she could describe it, but she didn't want to release too many details, especially with Rocco so close by. She couldn't even bring herself to look at him, but she did adjust the neckline of her blazer, tugging it closer to her shoulders and neck as if she was freezing, but mostly it was because she was subconsciously trying to cover as much skin as possible, ".. I was unfair the last time we spoke. I'm not used to relying on others, I shouldn't have been so difficult." she explained. She received another message, checking her phone briefly.

It's a BOY?! I'll buy you some outfits! You better wear one! You need to dress cute! You always hide how cute you are behind those huge glasses and baggy clothes. Dress up for your father, okay? Is it the boy from the dance?! You both looked so cute!

Gripping her phone, Yuuki lowered her head blushing quite a bit. She obviously did not like the contents of the message she received. Good lord... What is she going to choose this time? The Halloween costume was bad enough... Rubbing her temples, Yuuki let out a soft sigh before replying one last time. She really found herself dreading whatever her mother sent in the mail this time. Every time it was always something she was uncomfortable wearing.

No, it's not him! I'll let him know. He made his own costume. Why do you have to buy outfits? My clothes are fine! ....Did you have to dangle dad over my head?

After calming down from how upset her mother had made her, Yuuki's eyes returned to focus on Sora, doing her best to keep her attention on him, as it was far less embarrassing than allowing herself to steal a glance in Rocco's direction. She was better off not knowing if he noticed her, she wouldn't be able to meet his gaze anyhow, not yet at least, "Gomen ne... It was my mother. She's... very excited right now. She wanted me to tell you that your costume you made for the dance was nice." She confessed before shoving the phone in her pocket. Pinching the bridge of her nose, her cheeks were as red as an apple. How did she end up with all of these commitments? Guilt had ripped her apart until she came here to retract her words to Sora in the gym... then there was the incident where for some DUMB reason, she agreed to go back to her hometown for an entire weekend with Rocco... Was her brain lacking oxygen? Were there mind altering chemicals in that bathroom? Too much bleach? High school was so much more difficult than middle school had been. No matter how hard she tried, she couldn't avoid developing connections with the people around her.

She overheard someone approaching Rocco to tell him that he had five minutes, but she wasn't sure what they meant by that. She didn't know the girl (Devone), but she had a very intimidating quality about her, not that Yuuki really minded. Yuuki was no stranger to girls that held themselves like that. Unfortunately, she was the victim of a lot of harassment in her younger years, but as she got older many of them gave up. Her reactions were boring at best back then, she let them call her whatever they wanted, it didn't phase her at all. They couldn't say or do anything worse than what God had done. Nothing was worse to Yuuki than losing her father, and day by day a piece of him chipped away... Snapping out of those thoughts, she noticed another familiar face in the room. Yuuki recognized the tall ebony haired male (Ryou) that was present from the first day of school. He was...Johnny's senior if she recalled correctly? She did not retain his name, but she recalled his face at least. The time she spent anticipating Sora's response felt like the longest moment of her life. What if he was angry? She couldn't blame him if he was... still... she was beginning to come to terms with it, she couldn't avoid him and she did enjoy his company. At the end of the day, he was one of her only friends.

"Thank you dear~ I'll talk to you later!" Tadashi couldn't help but smile a tiny bit when his dearest friend Gen addressed him goodbye, he did recall that as it stood they would have literally forever to talk if she (Gen) did fully intend to move in with him. Which he hoped she did, he understood her fear of being alone and wanted to help. She had comforted him so endearingly and well in their younger years, it was the least he could do in return. But for now, Tadashi was on a mission. He navigated the school house as quickly as his feet would take him without actually jogging or even running. What had happened in the cafe he wasn't going to stand for, not in the least and was fully intending to elevate the incident to the proper levels within the school.

Making his way into the main office, Tadashi graciously introduced himself and requested to speak with the headmaster about an incident that had occurred at the Inryoku Cafe. OF course as expected, he wasn't allowed to simply walk in and see the headmaster but was allowed to fill out a report. He sighed, not very satisfied with the procedure but a strain of advice resonated within his mind. "When it comes to official matters, decorum and patience are as important as the emotion behind it. If you lack both, whatever goal you intend to accomplish within a structured system will fail." With constantly fluctuating eyes of red to purple and back, Tadashi stood at the counter and wrote down the incident in it's entirety on paper. Everyone that was involved, including the accused- Matsuda along with all of his friends that were antagonizing. He would see it that those boys were punished and never allowed to step foot within his cafe again. Bullying made Tadashi rather upset and any aspect that could be turned into more suggestive, or even sexual harassment was a absolutely infuriating. What he lacked in absolute physical strength and ability, he made up for in conviction and determination.

When all was said and done, he handed his scathing report to the receptionist who would forward the document to the proper authorities. He still wasn't satisfied. "I trust... That you find it, just cause to act on this in the interest of Hakuryu-san along with her family." There was a pregnant pause as the name sunk in, he felt dirty for using this tactic but names did make a difference in this school, for better or for worse. "She is a dear friend of mine and any affront towards her would offend myself- along with many others." His voice was genuine, but that conviction and urging to push the matter made it's way to the faculty member. Having a way with words was a gift he was very graceful to have. "Thank you sensei." Tadashi bowed and made his exit, immediately hearing the bell ring ending lunch.

The halls bustled and blurred with bodies going in every which direction heading to class from lunch. By now, he had largely remembered the layout of the school finding his way easily to his science class in building C. Lab G.3 finding the halls slowly begin to empty as students found their way. He had just barely caught a glimpse of pseudo-familiar black hair that belonged to none other than the dark haired beauty herself Devone, followed by a junior (Rocco) going into a room. All of which was none of his concern. He stepped inside the classroom, immediately spotting Sora and Misaki walking past them both. Going to an open table near the very left side in the middle of the classroom. It was mostly empty but slowly filling up with mostly unfamiliar faces, he was glad to be on time however and pulled out his science text book laying it on the table. Finding idle time, Tadashi looked out the window to his immediate left, seeing the outside courtyard. Students walked, some ran to wherever they were going and immediately the senior was thinking about music. On their own his hands started to make subtle sounds and drum beats on his desk, barely enough to be a nuisance but if anyone were to pay attention they'd be able to pick up on the quick and skilled drum beats. He'd do this for no more than a minute, before stopping realizing that he might be causing a nuisance. Tadashi sighed and glanced around the class, before looking back out towards the window just losing himself in thought. He was intelligent, but not made for school.

Resting her head on the elongated desk was actually starting to help her relax, but before the flush of her cheeks went away, her endeavor to soothe her distress was interrupted. Feeling skin-to-skin contact, Misaki nearly jumped out of her skin. She wasn't sure if she should look up or not. Who was it? Was it an accident? Her heart hammered in her chest as she attempted to quickly make a decision on how to handle the situation.

"Rest easy, senpai."

However, before she could make a solid choice, she shivered feeling breath brush across her ear. Her cheeks burned brighter, Misaki lifting her head to identify the owner of the voice. Her eyes verified that it was exactly who she thought it was, her green eyes blinking several times. Wasn't he looking for someone? Why was he back to torturing her? Well, it wasn't literally torture per se, but any amount of flirting did make her feel nervous, and after a while, it did make her chest ache, "Eh? W-What was that for?" She asked him, obviously shaken up. She withdrew her hands closer to her body as he withdrew, all but stuffing them between her knees. Is he making fun of me..? She asked herself, averting her gaze temporarily as she tried to deduce his reasoning. What was he doing, and more importantly, why? Wasn't he looking for.... She couldn't remember right off the bat, given her flustered demeanor, but it quickly came back to her, ...OH! Right! His senior?

Now that she was able to ask a question of merit, her head tipped to the side curiously, Misaki trying to change the subject from herself, "Is your senior not here yet..?" She asked trying to hide the hypersensitivity in her tone. She didn't care what they ended up talking about, as long as it wasn't her and did not involve making her heart rupture. She decided she really didn't want to know why he had said that to her... or why he had touched her hand, so redirecting the conversation seemed to be a sensible move. Misaki fumbled with her pencil bag and her science book, preparing her side of the desk, trying not to invade any of Sora's space, but mostly it was just a distraction, something to keep her hands occupied. She often began to fidget with whatever she could get her hands on in difficult situations, it just so happened her school supplies were the nearest objects at her disposal.

"Gomen ne... It was my mother. She's... very excited right now. She wanted me to tell you that your costume you made for the dance was nice."

Too lost in her own anxiousness, Misaki didn't realize someone else had approached the science table. A small girl with short mauve hair. K-Kawaii~ She's so tiny, and a little bookish... I almost mistook her for a boy! Misaki thought, her eyes somewhat sparkling, however, she was slightly disappointed when her eyes eventually landed on the female uniform. That girl didn't seem to be very comfortable at the moment either, but that was not what caught her attention. The way she spoke of her mother did. Misaki's relationship with her mother wasn't very good... and she found herself a little envious that the other girl's seemed to be very loving. Her green eyes lingered, just long enough to note the other girl's annoyance with her mother, a bitter smile forming on Misaki's lips.

"You have 5 minutes."

Confused, and a bit relieved to have a reprieve, Misaki averted her gaze from the mauve-haired student, "See you around, Murray-san." Her tone had equalized now, confident that she would no longer be able the subject of his coquetry. That was more than enough to calm her exhausted spirits. Still, she was in the same class as Devone, she needed all of her energy for that. Misaki was fully aware that she had flat-out lied to the girl the school had dubbed as "Ursula". Still, it wasn't like she could have been honest with her. It had been a situation from hell. If anyone found out about her previous self, her entire life could spiral, depending on who discovered the truth. At least class would start soon, which meant there would not be a lot of time to focus on the other students but also would prevent anyone from giving her too much unwanted attention as well. For once, Misaki was very grateful for class. It would be a welcomed diversion from how her day had begun, perhaps it would be redirected from its current course. Maybe she could fade back into being a wallflower, that way she wouldn't have to deal with all of the painful and raw sensations that overwhelmed her. I don't want to be noticed or loved... I just want to watch from afar... she thought to herself, her cheeks slowly returning to their original color.

Misaki really was a cute thing. Her cheeks lit up like a Christmas tree. He was glad to have stumbled upon her on his journey to see the wicked witch. "Eh? W-What was that for?" Rocco smiled a step out of her personal bubble already. He knew Devone was waiting on him but he can't resist, not when Misaki was reacting cute like that. “Gomen. I just wanted to wish a tired senior sweet dreams." He apologized but felt sorry for nothing. His second day of school and he was flirting like there was no tomorrow. It was quite a feat all the girls he had been with in one day and no one would guess with the harmless face he was born with. "Is your senior not here yet..?" She was the whole package of flustered, his eyes watching her blink rapidly, hands moved away then some fidgeting. Girls like her made him feel like he was on top of the world. "You have 5 minutes." Ursula didn't sound as amused and walked off ahead of him. Whether she was not amused because of him or he had caught her in a bad mood was undetermined but he got what he asked for.. a word in private. He looked back to Misaki as the answer was given. Devone wasn't his official senior because Gen was but Ursula was his.. in another way. He wouldn't object."See you around, Murray-san." He waved, his face never giving her a clue to how mischievous he was. Rocco didn't want her to know because it was more fun teasing her and seeing her troubled by it. “I look forward to it, senpai." He said in a friendly nature.

Walking after Devone, he spared a moment for his favorite class president. Rocco checked her out instinctively because of her captivating fragrance that he had the pleasure of accessing up close. She was talking to the pathetic senior (Sora) but annoyance was put on hold because he knows he's winning with their weekend trip together. His leg purposely brushed against hers on his way out and he looked over his shoulder to tell her something. "Give me 5 minutes prez and I'll fix that up for you." Rocco was playing doctor today. He helped Fuyuki with her ankle and offered to help Yuuki with her red skinned knee. Courtesy of the gentleman thief. That nickname wasn't so bad. Would that become his title if he was as notorious as Ursula someday? He had a few years to build it up as a junior.

Hot on Devone's heels, they reached an isolated classroom where nobody would disturb them. He assumed Devone as a senior should be aware of which classrooms were vacant at this time of day and that it must be grave for him to request this private audience. On the other hand, maybe she underestimated him. His only victim in private was Yuuki and he wasn't intimidating like that guy (Ryou) who was hanging out with her. Their fate was sealed when he closed the door just like how he closed the door to the bathroom at lunch. This was going to play out his way, the way a scene between a boy and a girl behind closed doors is thought to go. Gotcha. He thought, licking his lips with lust when her back faced him much like how Yuuki faced him before he took advantage of her. Ursula was a different girl so he'd play his cards differently but he's gonna win. In the end, he's a guy and she's a girl whose physical strength can't match up.

Devone's hair fluttered in the wind. It made him think how much he'd like to grab it. "Go on. Entertain me." He smirked. Rocco didn't have to hide himself from her or hold back. The pair weren't acquainted long but they held a mutual understanding that they were alike right from the very start like kindred spirits. There was an indescribable urge ignited to both pursue her and break her from the very moment he laid eyes on her and witnessed the air around her because she was like him but he hated himself too. It was confusing for anyone who was not them. It has to be experienced to be understood.“You think I’m a dog anyone can put on a leash dontcha?" He walked over addressing her as she stood confidently behind the teacher's desk between them. “Entertain? You want me to play fetch and beg?" he laughed. He wasn't offended that she thought so low of him because it was that underestimation that led to this moment to show all he can be.

He messed up his hair as he laughed. It was an eerie laugh like he was losing his mind but enjoying every second of it. Rocco walked closer to stand next to her, admiring the view beyond the windows to calculate his next moves. It faced the back of the school so there would be no witnesses. The room was fairly big, bigger than the boys bathroom but he'd carefully inch closer with every word. “Okay. I'll be your lap dog." he said teasingly, waiting for her eyes to settle on him. In the next minute, he had pressured her against the desk with that careful closeness he was working on by distracting her with words. “You’ll learn how dangerous I can be to you or useful for you." He leaned forward, their faces dangerously close. His eyes stared downwards intently into hers like he was searching for her soul buried beneath that ice cold exterior before he whispered her dirty little secret in her ear that he traded Sora for. “You’re seeking justice for something you've lost." He said it confidently to fool her that he knew what was going on. He didn't trust Fuyuki completely but it was worth betting on. He pulled away for a split second to gauge Devone's reaction that confirmed it as truth. “So, will you make a deal with me Ursula?" A devilish smirk overriding all his innocence, he leaned in again with his hands holding the desk's edge blocking her sides. His head lowered to lick her exposed neck and he got drawn in, his right hand moving to hold her back as he got carried away. Rocco closed his eyes and sucked on her neck hard enough to leave a hickey. Unconsciously, he wanted to leave that mark to let guys like the one before (Ryou) know that they couldn't have her. Maybe he was down right possessive.

Devone's hands entwined behind her back as she straightened her posture awaiting Rocco's response. The way she stood behind the teacher's desk was fitting because of the way she held herself in the manner of a professional business woman. She had her own private study at the mansion too but rarely did she invite anyone over to talk about business matters in person. The study was for her own personal use both studying for school and looking over the details of any business documents. More commonly, it was her place to investigate into her mother's death. She had been absorbed in that case ever since she gained dual citizenship for Japan after leaving America. She didn't know why Rocco requested to talk to her in private. They had no business with each other. All she could recall was his offer to be her lackey and in return, he only wanted her company.

“You think I’m a dog anyone can put on a leash dontcha?" He stood smirking at the opposite side of the desk but Devone merely raised an eyebrow at the question. "You offered yourself to me. Lackey, dog.. whatever helps you sleep better at night. They're all the same to me." Her voice matched her professional presence in the room but her words were ever playful. She stood confidently and firmly without intimidation like he was a lousy employee and she was the CEO even as he laughed like a maniac. “Entertain? You want me to play fetch and beg?" It was her turn to smirk. He clearly missed the job description of what a lackey entails if her expectations disappointed him. "That's what dogs are good for."

She spun around to observe as he moved to gaze out the window. Devone looked outside also, wishing the school day was over already. She looked forward to the dismissal bell too much to ever sign up for any extracurricular activities and thank God they weren't compulsory. The sooner this day ends, the sooner I can finish Chey and rest easy knowing mother.... Her thought was interrupted by Rocco closing the gap between them. She wasn't afraid of him or getting close to any male. Her little pretty head wasn't so easily intimidated and she was a far cry from shy but her natural instinct was to lean against the desk when he loomed over her. “Okay. I'll be your lap dog." She was a little surprised at his eager acceptance of the term. Not just anybody was willing to stoop so low. Nonetheless, she looked deeply into his challenging brown eyes without hesitancy.“You’ll learn how dangerous I can be to you or useful for you." Their faces were close but it didn't wipe away her trademark smirk. "Enlighten me." Rocco was an inch taller than her and a junior. She was convinced there was no way he was dangerous or could prove useful. I'm the dangerous one here and I have many connections at my disposal. What good are you? You're just an extra in my pocket.

She was cocky but her confidence shattered like glass the moment he whispered into her ear. “You’re seeking justice for something you've lost." Her eyes widened and she felt like the world around her was falling apart. She could barely breathe. Her chest ached painfully like her lungs had begun to fail. Her mind raced faster in panic than her body could process. This new acquaintance somehow knew about her biggest, darkest secret. It didn't matter if he worded it like a riddle. Rocco had never been really cut and dry when he teased or flirted with her. Her own father didn't know what she was up to. If her father knew, he would have stopped her long ago from pursuing this goal. How? How? That one question echoed in her head in repetition. Devone felt like she was going crazy. She wanted to scream. She thought of everything she had sacrificed to get this far, what she could lose if the authorities got involved and if she had been careless to leave some stray loose ends in her dealings. She had forsaken a normal high school life to chase this ghost haunting her past and now that Rocco knew... No, no! Nobody is ruining the plan. Chey's sitting in MY basement! I am NOT going to hand him over. I am NOT going to explain myself to ANYONE.

“So, will you make a deal with me Ursula?" She bit her lip as a darkened expression washed over her trying to come up with backup plans in the event her original one was jeopardized. I h-have connections... Goro can help.. I can't deal with this.. She'd never felt more alone and frightened. Her body started to shake now that her composure had been broken. Devone was having second thoughts. Maybe the plan was too big and ambitious for her. She'd never accomplished anything close to it in her life. She wasn't a detective or in any position to track down leads and ask questions. She was just a mean high school girl who wanted her mother to rest in peace. Why is everything so hard? This is all I've ever wanted. I've never wanted something so badly.. why? She choked on words that were never released because she was so lost. Reality didn't feel so real anymore.

Rocco seized the opportunity to advance on her, licking the side of her neck and sucking on it. Devone's body relaxed in the pleasure but her head continued to scream in agony. She didn't want this but she was too distraught to do anything. She felt his hand press against her back, pulling her closer to him as he sucked harder. She bit her lower lip down, refusing to give him any satisfaction if she gasped or moaned. It wasn't the most romantic setting but it was taboo with two students in an isolated classroom together being indecent against an unsuspecting teacher's desk. She closed her eyes trying to block out what Rocco said and what he was doing to her. She couldn't let him win, she couldn't let that junior have his way with her and she most certainly wasn't giving up on her goal —that's what she decided was most important. Devone centered herself and focused on her breathing to regain her composure. Right now, she had to be Ursula. She had to push the human, innocent Devone down her throat and bring out the monster even if it was all an act. She wasn't going down without a fight.

She ran her long slender fingers through his auburn hair. "Dogs certainly like to lick their masters don't they?" She remarked, gripping the back of his head as if encouraging him to enjoy himself. It felt dirty but she was going to make him pay for it. Enjoy it while you can, bastard. She watched the clock tick away before speaking again to interrupt him. "Your 5 minutes are up." Devone let go of him and angled her head so the hickey on the side of her neck was clear to him. "I've decided I'll make a deal with you." She closed an eye, her professionalism back but her blood boiled to the core. She was a ticking time bomb but she had to be patient to punish this one effectively. "We'll rendezvous at my place, tonight." She leaned forward enticingly as their noses touched and their lips were close to brushing against each other. "I'll send you the details then." She whispered suggestively and assumed he would agree before pulling away. Devone stepped away from the desk and walked over to the door. After opening it a little, she glanced back over her shoulder for parting words he had for her before closing it and returning to the seniors' science lab.

I'll make a dog out of you. Away from Rocco, her expression darkened again as she walked with heavy footsteps. The rumor mill was starting up again but it wasn't anything new. People were already calling her names for being around Ryou like whore. It didn't make any difference to her if they saw the hickey that her hair failed to cover whenever the windows let in a breeze. People talked and they wouldn't stop talking or hating no matter what she did. Run your mouths dry, thoughtless sheep. Devone stepped inside the appropriate science lab with her usual aura. She wasn't going to let herself show up broken as she was. Aeon, Sora, Misaki, Tadashi and Ryou were present but she wasn't going to sit with any of them. It wasn't her style to sit with anyone anyway as she opted for the row directly in front of Ryou. She swept her skirt neatly underneath her before sitting down and resting her chin in the palm of her hand appearing uninterested in everyone. Devone had a lot on her mind and she felt more at ease knowing someone like Ryou was right behind her even if she couldn't admit it to herself.

ImageRocco was prepared to defend himself. He had to keep his guard up in case he angered the mysterious dark-haired senior. A slap or a kick was in his near future if he wasn't cautious and that would suck. He was fully aware of what he was doing and that was taking advantage of Devone while she was vulnerable. If she was a good girl, he might even be guilty after the way she froze up but she didn't strike him for a saint. Her fingers through his hair sent a cold chill down his spine because he didn't know what was coming. Ursula was different. She was a wild card and kept him on the edge of his seat but he enjoyed the thrill. He was high on her elusiveness and her coldness when her body was this warm in his grasp. It was a special treat he had to taste. "Dogs certainly like to lick their masters don't they?" What a mouth. He enjoyed Ursula's playful banter. Her remarks were witty and on par with his. Being around her there was never a dull moment. Otherwise, he wouldn't agree to be her lackey. She egged him on and it was sexy.

"Your 5 minutes are up." Rocco stopped and observed as Devone angled herself to let him admire his work on her. That was new. He'd known girls to feel ashamed and hide their hickeys. "I've decided I'll make a deal with you. We'll rendezvous at my place, tonight." The distance between them was just a breath away once Devone leaned in closer. He didn't see it coming and his mouth was slightly parted in surprise. "I'll send you the details then." So close to her, he leaned in more to try to steal a kiss but she was just teasing him. It wasn't long before Ursula was at the door leaving him speechless. She turned around expecting him to say something. Rocco forced a smirk. “I was free tonight anyway. Catch you later, Ursula." When the door shut, he sat on top of the teacher's desk trying to process what just happened. “No...way." he muttered in disbelief. “Did she just invite me over for..?" Rocco understood her suggestiveness but it sounded too good to be true. He practically blackmailed her. Did she enjoy it that much or does the secret matter that much? Her acting had fooled him or his hormones had blinded him. Even if he was wrong, he had to go just to find out.

Once Rocco left the classroom, he remembered he told Yuuki he'd help her with her knee and borrowed some supplies from the sick bay. From what he had seen, it wasn't serious but it likely stung. He didn't need much, just the antiseptic, tissue and a box of band aids then headed to the junior classroom Misaki had helped him locate. There was a group hanging outside the room and he recognized most of them from gym class. "Do any of you require anything else before I head off to class?" Shiori was taking charge and while he would have loved to add a flirtatious quip just to annoy her, he'd had enough action for one day. Rocco didn't stick around to watch, whistling carefree as he passed them by into the lab. Yuuki wasn't anywhere to be found so he assumed she was still hanging out in the senior class with the loser. On the bright side, Kei was there sitting by the window in the far back row. Rocco could use some guy company after all the women he juggled.

Rocco took the available seat next to him, removed the medical items from his pockets to put on his desk and leaned back that the front legs of the chair hovered off the floor. Rocco didn't know if Kei was asleep but his head was down against his bag so it looked like it.“You asleep?" he asked, eyeing the guy's hair for any sign of movement. “What a day.." he said, yawning and catching it with one of his hands. He stopped leaning back, the chair's front legs returned to the floor. Rocco copied Kei, leaning his head on the desk but away from the medical items that were positioned off to the side. He faced Kei's direction in case the guy stirred from his nap and was up for talking. “Did I miss anything after I got separated from you guys?" He inquired, blowing his fringe up out of his eyes even though it only fell back down the same way. Kei was one of the few who didn't hate his guts for flirting around. Hell, he didn't know if Kei would even believe half of it.

They were sitting at a booth with a bunch of friends, everyone was laughing and chatting, but Kei was chewing on his straw, barely sipping at his drink. He couldn't smile and pretend everything was okay. He couldn't focus on anything except how shitty of a brother he was, or how selfish he had been. It was eating him alive, even though a few weeks had passed. It felt like there was a hole in his chest where his heart once resided. Everything was going fine though, no one seemed to notice or even care that he was quiet, that he was silently broken in a million pieces. Everyone around him was having fun without him, the world kept turning despite him being locked inside of his mind, replaying the worst day of his life.

Just as he almost gathered up the strength to get up and leave, he felt a hand rest upon his own. He nearly jerked it away, but when he saw her face, the blush on Kaori's cheeks, he immediately froze. He had been flirting with her for years, desperately trying to get her attention. He had spent so much time trying to get those brown eyes of hers to look at him the way she was right then. That look of adoration, the adorable pink tint on her cheeks. It was everything he ever wanted, but inside he was screaming, panicking. He couldn't enjoy a second of it.

"Watari-kun, Daisuki... (Translate: I really like you)"

Those silver-blue eyes of his immediately widened. He couldn't handle it, not after losing Kaiya. It was as if time had stopped in that moment. Kei couldn't let someone else into his life in that way. He couldn't love someone, he couldn't survive losing another girl he loved. What if he ignored her like he did Kaiya..? What if he screwed up the one time she needed him the most? His chest ached, wrenching in pain. He was conflicted between his feelings for her and terror. Before he even realized what he was doing, he stood up and emptied the drink he had been babysitting for the last ten minutes on her head, ice cubes and all. He heard her shriek, he saw the tears forming in her eyes. He could hear the laughter, but instead of apologizing, he just grabbed his jacket and walked out. It was then his parents realized something was very wrong with their son. After that, Kei realized he couldn't be around girls. He never wanted to be the reason for their pain or humiliation ever again.

“You asleep?"

Shifting a bit as he heard the familiar voice, Kei lifted his head enough to rub his eyes. He had only drifted off briefly, so it wasn't very difficult to stir him, "Not really.." he responded mid-yawn, blinking several times letting his eyes adjust. If anything, he was even more worn out than he was before. Even though he felt like crap, Kei was thankful that Rocco had woke him. He couldn't stand the nightmare he had, it was one that frequently crept in now and then, reminding him just how terrible of a person he truly was.

“What a day.."

Turning his head so he could face Rocco as well, Kei's bangs were a pitiful mess, all askew in each direction, "Tell me about it..." Kei mumbled, referring to how he had seen Kaori. He figured that the boy sitting next to him meant something else. He was grateful that the desks were roomy, or this might have been a little embarrassing, but given his sleepiness and the innocent atmosphere, Kei was able to keep his thoughts in a platonic, friendly zone.

“Did I miss anything after I got separated from you guys?"

"Nothing worth talking about... that guy you called dopey wanted to fight though... couldn't be bothered. Detention is not on the agenda.. too much yelling and nagging involved." Kei yawned. He smirked a bit at Rocco's failed attempt to shift his bangs out of his eyes. It was cute, but he reminded himself to keep that kind of stuff to himself. Most guys preferred girls after all, and he assumed Rocco was one of them. his metallic blue eyes searching his, "You look just as tired as I am... have fun?" He asked, unsure if it had been a rough day or if he had just spent his entire lunch period goofing off. He had caught the end of Rocco and Sora's dispute, but he wasn't sure what the story was there, nor would he bug the other guy about it. They weren't chicks, Kei wasn't going to nag him for the latest gossip.

This couldn't have turned out better, he knew his seating partner and it wasn't a girl. He couldn't have asked for a better arrangement, "....You do realize I'm terrible at science and just about every other subject, right?" Kei warned him, unsure if Rocco cared about his grades or not. Kei didn't really have to worry about his given he came from a rich family, but he knew that wasn't the case for everyone. It was always best to give fair notice just in case someone's grades depended on whether they could keep their scholarship.

"Good afternoon, is everyone here? Etto.. some seats are empty."

Sweatdropping a bit when the attractive blonde teacher fell, Kei couldn't help but focus on her...assets as she tumbled. Well, as much as he hated science, maybe it wouldn't be so bad. As a teacher, he could admire her from a distance and it would just come across that he was paying attention, but it was perfect as teachers very seldom touched their students at all. A woman he could admire that wasn't stuck to the page of some skeevy magazine but also posed zero risk? It was heaven. Before he knew what the teachers looked like he half expected them to be wrinkly old women. That's what he was used to at his old school, so a sultry young science teacher was a sight for sore eyes.

"I'm Kita-sensei if we haven't been introduced yet. Science experiments will always be done in pairs or trios! Today, we'll be conducting a very simple experiment you can find on page 120! It's called the Ferromagnetic fluid experiment! You'll be able to see magnetic fields in action. You'll need iron oxide and magnets from the cabinets. Grab a jar too and some water from the sink. It's very simple! I'll be demonstrating in front of the class but feel free to go on ahead if you are up to it. Let's have fun, okay?"

Begrudgingly pulling out his book, Kei flipped through the pages and turned to look at Rocco. Everything on the page looked like a foreign language to Kei, so he wondered if his seatmate would know any better, "I can only make out like..a third of this. Do you understand this sorcery..?" While he waited for an answer, his eyes finally fell on the medical supplies Rocco had. Now that he was fully awake and sitting up properly it was easier to focus, and thinking about anything other than Kaori was definitely a start in the right direction. His curiosity got the best of him and despite promising himself he wouldn't ask a bunch of unnecessary questions, the words quietly left his mouth before he could filter them, "Are you hurt or something...?" his eyes scanned Rocco, leaning back and trying to peer under the table. Given their uniform pants would hide any abrasions his steel blue eyes returned to Rocco.
