Name: Danny Beves
Nickname: The Prince of the People
Age: Twelve
FC: Jonah Bobo
History: Danny not only is, but always has been, the Black sheep of the family. While his mother believed in instilling fear into the people, Danny believes in learning more about his people and not just learning how they work, but how they feel while doing it. It all started from his birth. For the longest time, he always lived in the shadow of his brother. After all, he was the one who would become King, being the first born. But as Danny grew up, he did not resent that.
For most of his early life, Danny was the one people always treated like a baby. Always being cautious, always trying to lock him away from the world. Sometimes, he actually was whenever there was a threat against his life, or on the royal family in general. Because everyone saw him as the young boy that needed to be protected. Between this and living in his brother's shadow, it should not have been such a surprise what he became. While normally one of the Royal family that is male would be a warrior, he prefered the unconventional style of a rogue. Using the shadows and stealth to sneak away from the guards, picking the lock of whatever room was barred to him, and even learning to scale the castle walls. Some people believe he learned to climb first, walk second.
When he was five was when he picked up his first bow. And since then, he has never gone anywhere without one. While most of the royal family would wear flashy clothes and show off to the people, or threatening people like his mother, from the young age of five he trained with a bow. And it was a tool he was quick to master. Danny was quick to his a target from longer then some of the most skilled archers in the kingdom, and while he was taught the Royal Fighting Style, he is quick to disregard that in favor of his own, unconventional fighting style. While most would focus on strength and endurance, he focused on agility, training himself to be nimble and quick, with the long term goal of being able to jump over a large man in a single jump.
And it was in this difference, that he saw everyone else was different. While some might mistake his view for believing all the people are equal and the same, that is only half true. He believes that all people should have equal rights, but he does not believe they are all the same. Because he saw how different he was to the rest of his family, he realized that every single person is different. They either have different parents, or were born at different times, or were in love with different people, or had different beliefs or different houses or grew up in different situations. And this made him believe that, if he or his brother were ever to truly rule this land properly, one of them would need to learn how each person felt. What it felt like to be a trader, or a merchant, or a blacksmith, or a farmer, or a stable caretaker, or a stable boy, or so on. And this drove him to learn now just how people did these things, but how it felt to do them himself.
And the only thing in his way is his Royal Bodyguard Jorvis Bailey, who believes he takes too many risks and is too carefree. He is the only bodyguard that stayed with Danny though, as he dismissed all the others. Danny did not dismiss him though, because while all the others were already knights, Danny met Jorvis in the market. He defended two children from a vile predator slaying him in the process, but because he was the son of a noble, he would have been executed....unless of course, he had a connection of his own. Jorvis takes his job seriously, but he was the first one Danny had true respect for. Even if he disagrees with what Danny does. But the people, for his actions, gave him the nickname of the Prince of the People. Some even believe he should be the King....but surely no one would act on that, right?
Personality: Still a WIP
Equipment and Training: Custom Made Precision Bow, created by the royal forgemaster. This bow is special because it was made with rare materials which allows for more arrow velocity. He also carries rope, a lockpick set, and various other tools to help him get around. While most specialize in hitting harder, he specializes in hitting faster, and was trained by both the Royal Battlemaster and the Royal Spymaster. He prefers to be unconventional, so no one can predict his moves or what he will do next. He is also proficiant in a sword, and has a specially made balanced short sword tailored to his way, though he prefers to use his bow still. He is also exceptionally trained in hand to hand combat.
