Personality: For what Lanyee is, you'd never expect how her actual personality and appearance to be... Different, she is usually kind, friendly and warm, even showing a bit of hyperness too. She treats everyone like they are a friend of hers and is protective of her true friends, and allies. And when she's defensive, it's not just scary, it's terrifying. Seeing a typically sweet girl even annoyed is already scary, when furious is terrifying, and to top it off, she's an Angel of Death, and when she looses her cool, needless to say, you may not survive the encounter. Since when Lanyee is in her full Reaper form, since she has not mastered her abilities, she looses almost all sense of reason and humanity. Yet when she is not in a fight, her personality is typically warm as she mostly smiles as she moves around the school. -I plan to add more when I think of more. It's 2 Am here at the moment.-

Lanyee had finally reached the academy, after getting lost and having to run from a horde of cats. She felt more at eased now since she had gotten out of her panic, since she is unfortunately allergic to cats. She, though, remembered waking up distinctly. To her "Guardian" having a nice panic attack. Again. Which she responds to by sedating her guardian. Again. And soon she was on her way to school. Where she'll fit in a lot better. Yet as she walked to the Gate she noticed two people and calmly walked up, resisting her urge to dash up to the three people, soon she was within earshot of them, she spoke, "Hello! I was told to some here. By the way, I'm Lanyee. And... Are there more than just the three of us here at this school this year?" she asked sounding as calm as she could, which wasn't much, since she was really excited like a small child, yet she sounded, in her mind, as natural as if she were completely relaxed.

Adalyn peeked out groggily from under her covers as light filtered in through her window. She got out of bed and showered, before putting on her clothes. She glanced at her clock as she finished getting dressed, and quickened her pace. This was going to be her first day of school, she couldn't be late. Running downstairs, she grabbed her bag and ran out of her house, the door slamming with a shut. Since walking would take too long, she unfurled her wings and started to flying. Her hair whipped around her face and the wind blew over her. Scanning her eyes on the buildings below, she spotted the academy and landed behind a nearby building before walking up to the gate. She smiled at the few people gathered around the gate, and introduced herself. "Hello, I'm Adalyn." Her fingers slowly wrapped around her locket as she rubbed it nervously.

Licht, Spirit of Light

Location: Academy Gates

Unlike a vast majority of other students, Licht did not have anything to call 'parents'. So, as you can imagine, he did not need to say 'goodbye' to anyone or anything, he just needed to get ready. Did he have to change clothes? Did he have to brush his teeth? Did he have to do any of the normal habits that humans did when he woke up? The answer is no, he didn't. But it made him feel more comfortable doing so. Since he hadn't any parents nor friends, he decided to feel more like a human by doing these meaningless chores each day, rather than simply materializing his clothes (which were, in fact, made from essence of light). It's quite possible that he might've gone crazy if he didn't do so. As he finished the last of the morning's tasks, he left for school, arriving at the gate shortly after.

There was quite a decent gathering just before the gates that had led into the school. Students of different appearances and characters were common, surprisingly. There was one who appeared to be shy (or nervous), one who was confident, one who most likely was not in a pleasant mood, and another who had fallen down. Normal people might've laughed, but Licht's face remained unchanged. Instead of chuckling at the man's failure, he walked over, prepared to introduce himself as he did so, and offered the young man a hand to get up.

"You should be careful, for the swift descent of a fall could yield much worse results." he said to the man in an tone that held nearly no emotion. 'Twas not because Licht felt none, but simply because he saw no reason to get emotional over such a trifle affair. In some ways this could throw people away from him, but the fact that he had his hand extended to help still remained.

Mildly confused.

Now seeing more people Lanyee smiled, she enjoyed other's, and also liked how vivid they are personality wise, yet, she fet a bit more tense with the angel in her presence, since she was a reaper, she adjusted the strap she had that kept her scythe on her back when she didn't wish to carry it in her hand, "Hello there!" she said to the others, primarily to the one whom came out of the trees and basically had about as much grace a puppy. She walked up to the man whom was being aided by the new guy with Light Blue hair, "Are you okay there? That didn't look like a pleasant fall..." she said in a concerned tone, yet showed a light smile as she knelt by the man, needless to say, she didn't enjoy watching it since she wasn't into other's pain when she wasn't in her reaper alignment. She looked at the what sounded distant male before she rose again, "And I see we have another person here joining us" she said smiling as she looked at the others, needless to say, it was going to be an adventure with them.

Icess stays on the fringe of the school, unsure about getting any closer. She watches from the nearby forest, in the trees, as students start to enter the campus. She had travelled quite a long way from where she had been staying. She narrowed her yellow eyes, making sure that no one would come too close to where she was. Icess was not ready to be near others, let alone that she wasn't even sure she wants to be at the school.

From where she was, she could observe interactions between other people. Icess couldn't understand why people needed to make connections and relationships. All that did was cause pain in the end. This was why she had remained isolated for so long, away from others, away from people and away from the possibility of pain.

Kaze smiled, jumping a bit in place in excitement. He looked around as he saw the number of student adding up. Like said, it is better to have more people than be alone. It was obvious that the child was not only the smallest of the group, but also the youngest looking. Although, he didn’t mind at all; he did grow up with friends who became more adult looking. He only smiled. The feelings to be out of place were none.

Then, he looked a bit surprised at the one that at this moment fallen in front of everyone’s eyes. He chuckled for a few moment under his breath, making sure that no one heard that as he placed his hands over his mouth, and so he just smiled silently. He wanted to talk; he wanted to play, but he knew that it wasn’t the time at all, and felt the environment is tenser than those streets he used to be in. He was the new kid around, literally. He was also happy that he had his bracelet; last time he undid them, it was the first time he…

He shook his head, taking the thought off; it was making him nervous a bit. He chuckled to himself, and glanced more silently around with his crimson eyes, putting his arms behind his head. He glanced at the stranger helping the other stranger, with every other stranger looking at him, or not. Thinking of it, he looked a bit farther than the academy; it was really a big world around him. He u to live in a small village didn’t help to be hidden, but now, it was so open… he wondered if he could just fly into the sky. Back in his village, the place was too filled with stuff and junk; it was rare if he could unfold his wings completely without breaking something.

In any news, he hoped that he’ll be able to have as many friends as he had in the previous town he had. He kind of forgot why they had to move. He hoped that it is better to just forget about his mistake in the past and enjoy the future as he sees it. He wondered if there would be more students to come along.

Adalyn looked around her as the the crowd started to get bigger around the gate. She caught the look of a young man and smiled. He seemed shy by his demeanor, but friendly none the less. More and more people were coming in the short time span after she had arrived. The prospect of meeting all these new people excited, and terrified her. She was jolted out of her thoughts when someone face planted out of a nearby tree. She almost burst into laughter, but she caught herself, and just let a few giggles escape. "Haha, are you alright?" She watched as a young man with light hair and a girl came up to help him up. "You might want to work on your landing there buddy," she offered with a smile.

Her focus shifted to the woman who was speaking to them all, introducing herself as their mission administrator. As she listened, she rubbed her locket again, weary of the test she had just mentioned. Would she be able to pass? What would the test be like? Questions bounced around in her head, and she even grew curious as to what the incident was. As the administrator outlined what they would be doing, Adalyn felt the gravity of what she was a part of. She couldn't help but feel a little excited by it though.

Kaze smiled widely as he saw someone walked by him, and after she said her name, he immediately responded: “Hello there~, my name is Kaze, and I just arrived in town,” he looked at her with his big smile. “Say, you’re an angel right? I know you are! It is pretty obvious. Daddy says that most angels don’t like people like me, because of stuff that I can’t understand…” he stopped for a moment and tilted his head. “…or did I forget that too…?” he shook his head and smiled. “Any ways, I hope you don’t dislike me. You don’t, right? Right?” He forgot how much obnoxious he could be, but it wasn’t his worst. He could have gone hours, but due to his defective brain, he couldn’t remember much about his life.

He was about to talk again until the mission administrator spoke. He was all up in his eagerness once more as she told about the mission, bouncing in place just a bit, listening carefully and make sure that he remembered this time in his head. He couldn’t wait until the beginning of the mission, and it was a teamwork one. He was excited at first, but then he wondered if he wouldn’t be left out. He tried to calm himself down to fit most of the personalities around him, but apparently, he couldn’t calm the child inside of him. He then wondered if the abandoned city was his. It was rather empty after all. He shook his head; it was a village, not a city. Those two are rather different. He only smiled up at the others and extended his wings a bit, making sure he doesn’t bump into anyone with them.

“Um…” he started to talk again, rather clueless. “Does anyone know where is that abandoned city? I didn’t quite get around, so I would like a little of assistance.” He didn’t care how much of a child he was; Kaze looks and acts like a child any ways. Even though he could act like his age, there was something in him that didn’t let him be serious…. for most of the time. The demon kept a smile towards everyone, happy to begin this mission with people that he didn’t know about, and hope that he’ll know more in the future.

As the administrator spoke Alyssa looked at her knee. If she couldn't even manage to get to school without getting injured then what hope did she have of catching someone? Maybe it was something that the teachers used to gage how powerful and willing each student was. She decided that she was going to do her very best and make sure she wouldn't be seen as the little weakling. Every device at her disposal she was going to use, even her wings, even though she didn't like to fly.

Alyssa looked around for someone, another angel, hopefully, that she could work with. Everyone seemed to give off a powerful aura that they were supposed to be there, and they were important. They were all so confident she felt very, very alone. This is how it started last time, she though, but at my old school at least I knew I was special. Here, I'm not.

Suddenly she realized that her size may not be a problem. Maybe she could use it to find the person without them finding her. After all, who would suspect a little girl flying in the air as a legitimate threat. With that in mind, Alyssa was much more confident. She even smiled at the administrator.

(A bit confused as to why this isn't under the gate...)

"I can't hate someone I don't know. I personally don't care what you are," Alyssa said quietly to Kaze. "If we fly up and circle around a bit we can probably find it. Do we go now?"

Alyssa wondered what else they had to do. She was quite confused about how they were supposed to find someone that she had never even seen before. And, above that, she was not a good flier. She hadn't flown for about a week. Kaze seemed nice enough to wait for her, even though her mother and father had always warned her that demons were lying and cheating no matter what. Alyssa did not agree, she rather like Kaze and she thought it was time that the good little angel rebelled a little bit. Somehow, this seemed extremely exhilarating.

"C-Capture someone?" Sakamoto muttered quietly to himself. He had never thought that he would have to do something that... That... Possibly violent. True, he felt a little excited, but his shyness was really messing with him. He glanced around at the other students, and saw what they were feeling. Most were excited, as well as a little worried, but one, small person who appeared to be another angel and was surprisingly small, looking twelve or thirteen, was looking around, much more worried than the others. Their eyes met for a second, and Sakamoto quickly looked down. He was not having a good day, he was next to a bunch of other people, but they didn't seem to really want to go off and capture this person, which Sakamoto certainly wasn't about to do without some help. Help... And the only way to get it was to ask for it. He took a deep breath, closed his eyes, and concentrated as hard as he could for a few seconds. Peter Pan... Peter Pan... Peter Pan... He thought that he could build up his courage if he thought of someone who didn't have any fear hard enough that he became them a little. He felt a little better, and managed to save some of it when he opened his eyes. He took a deep breath, and took a few steps forward, approaching the small angel. "Uh, e-excuse me." He managed not to flinch when she looked at him. "I-I'm really not very good at these kinds of things and, I, uh, I think that I..." He took breath. "Could I stick next to you while we go do this mission?" He took a deep breath after he got it out. There was just to many people around, and the only reason he managed to even be able to speak was to block them from his sight as much as possible. He was about absolutely possitive that he botched everything up, and she would say no, leave me alone, creep! or something like that.

Lanyee sighed hearing she was going on a mission, "Fun. So it's a test to see how bad we want in? And who's powerful enough?" she asked herself sounding quite unenthused by the fact that she's going on a mission, "I'll have to stay in the back unless I wish to loose humanity... Again." she thought as she adjusted her scythe again. She was fine with the mission so early, gives her an ability to practice her technique with her new scythe, yet, if she decided to go into her reaper form, needless to say, she could loose herself and wipe out half the city. And she'd hate that, and let's say, there wouldn't be her at the academy any time soon. Yet she had to. Weather she liked to or not, and she wasn't happy about the mission, yet she heard another ask to stick with a little what she thought was an angel and she smiled lightly, she enjoyed being in teams, since she didn't function appropriately alone, since she was one of those people whom got anxious and may have panic attacks alone, and with her scythe on her back, she wasn't inconspicuous and has been stopped by police for it. So she instinctively turned to the Blue-Haired man, "You seem like a nice person, care to join with me? Using the buddy system to keep us protected?" she asked sounding somewhat flustered, since she barely knows the man, yet she just added a smile in hopes he'll join along with her.7

Alyssa almost laughed. Finally someone who was more nervous then her! This made her feel quite confident. This had to have been the first time in her life that she wasn't the most nervous. She smiled at him sweetly and pushed her long white hair out of her eyes, she sometimes really wished that she could cut it. "Sure, she said in a voice hardly above a whisper. If she spoke much more she was going to lose her voice. She really didn't like to speak and this school just seemed all about it. "I could fly around and look for the city, unless you know where it is." She added the last part very quickly, not wanting to offend the first person who had actually spoken to her since she had arrived. Kaze nodded softly to her confirmation that he doesn’t care what he was. It was rather comforting that there were angels who didn’t care what the others think about the demons. He sighed softly; though that she remained good company, he didn’t know if she wanted him to be a part of the mission with her. Looking how the others act, it seems rather obvious that nobody thrust him for a mission. Was it because he was too young? He doesn’t know, but he couldn’t quite be sure about it any ways. Either he had to deal with group or not. He wished to not be alone, though.

He folded his wings to as he heard that they will be teleported. Knowing a bit of what his village looked like, he did not dare to appear anywhere with his wings unfolded. Maybe he could be stuck forever in a wall just because of those. The thoughts of that were rather random, but he only shook his head and smiled towards everyone. He had no question; find someone, capture him or her, take the person back, goal. It seems rather easy.

Although, he did not dare to say it in front of everyone; he knew that he wasn’t the strongest of them all, and he wasn’t certain if he was the weakest. Sure, there was one person that was smaller than him, but that doesn’t mean that she is weak. It is sole the effect of innocence that made people think like that. Either way, he thought it would be preferable that he stuck around with Alysse, since she was the only one that came up to him to talk, and it was rather unusual for what she looks like, and for what he is.

He walked up to her as she was talking with another one, making more introductions. He only smiled at them, hoping that she knows that he wanted to stick more around with them. He studied the other stranger, waiting for his name with eagerness. It was rather obvious that Kaze was the one to be always happy with people he didn’t know. Kaze rubbed his bracelets softly, making sure that they were still there. It would be so unfortunate if he found out that someone took them, but it was discreet that he checked them, just making sure. Besides, it was rather hard even for himself to undo them.

Adalyn noticed people starting to team up into groups, and the youngest of the group seemed to be sticking together. "Might as well stick with the others," she thought. Working alone was fine with her, but she wasn't even close to mastering her powers. Let's face it, being alone wasn't fun either. She turned to the small ensemble near the tree, the light blue haired young man, the girl with a large scythe on her back, and the one who had fallen out of the tree. The large scythe intimidated her a bit, but she decided to approach them anyway. "Do you mind if I stick with you guys? I don't really know anyone, and being in groups seems like a good option..." Her fingers continued to fiddle with her locket as she anticipated their answer.

Icess stayed away from the group, still in the trees. Since so many had grouped up, she was just about ready to leave. She thought that she would be able to work alone. Gathering the small sack she had of the only other outfit she had, Icess started to go to leave the campus, an annoyed look on her face.

"How bothersome." She quietly said as she passed by the group, heading to leave. I guess like everything else she has come across.

I was asking one of these two to join with, since it'd be more safe to have devisions of two to three." she said smiling as she noticed her toying with a locket and nodded as she thought, "Oh fun... Now an angel is asking my assistance... Of corse..." she thought as she finally realized she was teleported to the city and nodded, "Well. It seems our mission is beginning..." she said in a calm tone as she then looked at the Angel, "You fly correct?" she asked in a sweet tone before walking down a street, "or do you prefer walking?" she asked smiling.

Adalyn nodded the girl and returned her smile with one of her own. She appreciated the girl's kindness. At least she wouldn't be completely alone. She turned to ask the two young men if they would like to work together as well, but the blue haired one walked away. "How about you?" She asked the other young man who managed to pick himself up. "Do you want to accompany us?" Before she could hear his answer, she felt the scenery begin to shift and blur, and what was once the gate in front of the academy became the city. For a few moments, she was disoriented, and stumbled a few steps before regaining her composure.

"Haha yes, I can fly. I'll walk for now," she said with a smile. "I'll only fly if I have to. My name's Adalyn by the way." She paused to look around and was taken aback. The city was dark and deserted, like a barren wasteland. Tall buildings erupted out of the ground, dull and rusted. This was once a bustling city, full if life. Now it was just a ghost of what it used to be. It was eerily quiet, save for the students. One by one, everyone appeared in the city. "I wonder what the story is behind this..."

Alyssa's eyes became unfocused and she decided in that moment that she rather didn't like teleporting. It was just odd and unnatural to her. It made her lose her balance and she almost fell, but used her ghost white wings to balance herself. She wished she had managed to do that before. Somehow, the act of teleporting had given her an excellent response to Sakamoto.

"Of course you can fight," she said with real conviction to her words. She was confident in them and sure of it; the volume of her voice was even as loud as everyone else's, "just not in the traditional sense. You can manipulate your opponent's emotions. If you're scared or paranoid, you can make them feel the same way. A paranoid person is more likely to make mistakes and that could be a huge advantage. Here's the plan, if we find whoever this guy is, you try that and I can try to throw an energy field at him and we can try to contain him."

She was very sure of this. But the eerie quiet of the ghost city seemed to be laughing at the students, taunting them and laughing at them for ever having the audacity to enter it. It seemed that the silence was whispering to them, saying that they were hopeless and stupid for even thinking for a moment that they could enter its rusting, shattered, ivy-covered walls. The more she looked around the more she realized that her plan would only work if everything went right and she had absolutely no idea what they were doing. They were going to a school to learn how to fight, she didn't know yet!
