There is no denying that Diana is a beautiful girl. Her skin a harmonious mix of her father's deep brown and her mother's soft caramel, Diana was exceptionally fortunate to have gained her parents best features. Diana's dark brown hair is almost always straightened to perfection, however when she's in a hurry she'll settle for a tight, high pony tail. Her eyes a a soft, doe brown which compliment her full cheeks and plump lips. While Diana likes to keep her makeup light, she is always dressed to perfection. Very classy and studious, Diana wouldn't be caught dead in anything too casual at school. She only allows herself to slump down when she's in the confines of her own home.
STRENGTHSXX
XXâ„ Dependable : Diana is quite meticulous and careful, taking a steady approach. She not only ensures that things are done to the highest standard, but often go well beyond what is required. Which often makes her quite a trusted and dependable person for others.
XXâ„ Leadership : Diana is charming and charismatic, traits that lend well to leadership. She often finds herself in leadership positions not just through her own ambition, but also at the request of others.
XXâ„ Practical : Calm, and collected, Diana would never get anything done if she allowed herself to break down. She makes clear, rational decisions based on facts and effectiveness. She follows the rules, and prefers when other people do as well. Diana believes in structure and orderâa system in which everyone knows exactly what's going on and why.
WEAKNESSES
XX â„ Perfectionist : One thing that drives Diana crazy, is her sheer need for perfection. Her room is quite possibly the tidiest thing you have ever come across, and every day in class her pens and pencils must be arranged perfectly on the desk. If something is a hair out of line, she gets rather agitated and anxious. She's her worst critic.
XX â„ Workaholic : Her strong sense of duty and perfectionism combined with aversion to emotional conflict to create a situation where it is far too easy for her to overload herself, or to be overloaded by others. She often struggles silently to meet everyone's expectations, especially her own.
XX â„ Emotionally Repressive : Diana is private and very sensitive, internalizing her feelings a great deal. Much in the way that she protect others' feelings, she must protect her own, and this lack of healthy emotional expression can lead to a lot of stress and frustration for herself.
FEARSXX
XXâ„ Failing : She is afraid to fail but, then again who isn't? No one wants to fail at reaching their dreams but with Diana, it's more than that. The only thing she knows she's good at is her intelligence and her dream of Harvard Law and if she fails at that. She has no idea who she is anymore.
XXâ„ Mediocrity : Diana terrified of living in mediocrity. Of just being in that suburban type of life with like three kids, being a stay at home mom just letting her husband work, who just looks back on her life with regret, like her mother.
XXâ„ Relationships : It's no secret that Diana never had time for a romantic relationship and she is terrified that she'll never find something that works. Definitely she is terrified of not having her first kiss before she graduates. That's all she wants, a kiss. Not sex, she wants that to mean something but, just a simple kiss.
SECRETS
XX â„ Cheating : AP Chemistry. She doesn't know what it is but somehow her senior year the class has threatened her perfect GPA on numerous occasions. Diana couldn't afford to fail. Couldn't afford to throw her dreams away on some stupid class that should be a breeze for her. So Diana did the unthinkable. She cheated. Hacked into her teacher's drive and stole the midterm exam answers. Diana hasn't felt as guilty as when she got her perfect score back. She's terrified of anyone finding out, Harvard would rescind her early acceptance.
PERSONALITYXXX There's no denying Diana's squeaky clean track record and 'goody-two shoes persona'. You'd never catch her at a party or doing anything that 'normal' teenagers subject themself to. Granted, this has lent to her not having the largest of friend groups, however, Diana is loyal to those she respects and will never cross a friend. Sophisticated, studious, and totally Type A Diana has always been the best student in every class sheâs been in, or at least she strives to be. Sheâs not easily distracted, and as far as sheâs concerned, sheâs the best, sharpest, and most prepared student. Regardless of her studious, Diana is a friendly and thoughtful young woman, unlike her older brother. Socialising with friend or stranger isn't difficult for her. She has her own charm and charisma much like her father, which earned him mayor of Oakville. Diana has taken after her father, while slightly manipulative in nature, she knows how to talk. Just ask her national title in Debate.
Diana is a brilliant, analytical, and diplomatic individual. This mainly comes from her father as she has always strived to be golden in his image. Diana has always thought of herself as a more matured individual than the majority of her classmates. Balancing sides has always been a bit challenging but lately she has found she is getting better at it. Diana still comes a very uptight, goal-orientated teenager, but below the surface is a girl who likes the light-hearted times and fun.
She is a true perfectionist and will never settle for anything lower than her standards, Diana has always been the hardest on herself. The girl holds herself to a strict regimen, and her routine has to be consistent and thorough every day. One small mishap and she's entirely off kilter. She holds herself to rigid expectations, whether in behavior, performance, or appearance. Unfortunately, this side of her can also bleed into the others around her, and she can be a bit judgmental when she's not trying to be. Diana can't hide the fact that she had a very privileged childhood, her snooty sense of things will always be there but lately she has been trying to 'expand' her view of what she believes to be is right.
Diana has a terrible habit of trying to do everything herself without the help of anyone, due to her mindset that she can do everything by herself. This can leave her in prolonged moods of stress or irritation, which make her already uptight personality even more of a hassle. Diana tends to measure success in concrete, materialistic terms. The girl is a realist who has no qualms with âThe ends justifies the means.â However, she does not share her emotions with anybody, and likes to compartmentalize between her school life, and private life. And god forbid something goes wrong, because it's definitely not her fault in her eyes. As high strung as she may be, deep down Diana has a good heart, and has always had good intentions.
HISTORYXXXMarcus and Liliana Lindbergh were high school sweet hearts that grew up in Oakville, both respective Valedictorians of their class. The two both attended college out of state, Marcus for Business and Liliana for Law. Marcus graduated first and moved back to Oakville as the town was always something he loved deeply, he started out working on the board for Oakville slowing working his way up. Liliana eventually graduated from Harvard Law and moved to Oakville with Marcus the few getting married after a few months moving into a nice house near the middle of town. A couple years later, Liliana and Marcus had their first child Kingston and then two years later Diana. The family lived a rather comfortable life as Marcus and Liliana's combined income was quite a considerable amount.
Diana and her brother couldn't have been more opposite growing up. Her older brother was unruly and obnoxious while Diana was a neat-freak and pretentious little child. The two fought constantly and this continued up until their high school years. Kingston was always jealous of Diana's obvious spot as the favorite child and his resentment grew throughout the years. Granted, in the eyes of her parent's Diana was a golden child. Clean, polite, well-mannered, intelligent the girl acted as if she was next in line for royalty. This carried on into her high school years.
Diana's freshman year of high school her father was elected mayor of Oakville. So they moved, into an even bigger house in town and by this time her mother decided to retire and instead work from home. (Which Diana knew wasn't what she wanted). It sucked being labeled 'the mayor's daughter' and the 'kiss-up' through most of her time at Oakville High but Diana didn't mind. She had everything she wanted, the grades, the family, the money, even student body president. Still her successful life garnered rather bland and empty friendships - except for a few strong ones - and a 'goody-two-shoes' label practically stamped on her forehead.
Her acceptance to Harvard was a god-send and reminded her that everything she had done so far was for a reason. For her future. Sure she may have cheated on her AP Chem Final but that was behind her, nobody knows. Nobody can ever know. Diana is perfect, she has to be.
