Description

Lucian Lassar

Image
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Appearance: Lucian is 6"1', usually wearing a hoodie, jeans, and a T-shirt. Even in the winter, he wears this attire, claiming not to be cold. Lucian also wears ripped garments,
Role: Moderator
Element: Fire
Weapons of choice: A single sword and handgun.
Personality: The first thing you'd think about Lucian when seeing the guy for the first time is an average-day punk. A hoodie, ripped jeans, a face that never smiles, you would really thing he's the typical douchebag. However, if you get to know him, you'd understand him more, but you'd also have some... questions. You see, Lucian has an overall.... conflicting persona. Maybe it's because he's a moderator, or maybe this is why he's frustrated. Things about this subject, Lucian never reveals to anyone. Of course, it's obvious that he's beating himself up because of this.

Firstly, Lucian hates that weak. In his eyes, they can't fend for themselves, and are always oppressed by them. Yet, the guy usually steps in and helps them up. He'd scowl at the sight of a random hobo, then remove it before giving said homeless person a piece of the food he's eating. Then he'd curse himself as he walks away.

Secondly, Lucian's.... general behavior towards other people. Not once does Lucian go up to a person and smile. He's never like that. Happy-go-lucky people are just... disturbing to him. Lucian is usually the guy leaning against the wall, minding his own business. He prefers to stay isolated, especially when his Anima and Dreamer begin to fight each other. In other times, if approached, Lucian puts up an indifferent face and attitude. He doesn't care about petty things like a little child's lost rattle (which he probably found on the ground and threw it in the garbage) but he does care about things that concern him- minus the Anima/Dreamer subject. Secretly though, Lucian does somewhat care about what the speaker is saying, and if it's a problem, Lucian (in his own- most likely rude- way) would give (KEYWORD: "give") his solution to the problem (however he sometimes does what he thinks would be the solution for the said problem).

Third, behavior towards tasks. Yes, Lucian is a bit laid back. He doesn't really care for the minor rules ("Cutting in line, really? Let's try caring for when I cut your finger.") but obeys the major rules. In terms of being moral, Lucian has some, but isn't that "goody-two-shoes" nor that "greaser on the street." He has enough to save a life if needed or do some requests, but never enough to do charity work or to study and get a straight A in school (which, he doesn't understand why a letter is so important). So far, he hasn't committed any crimes, and there isn't really anything REALLY against him in the court of law. However, he isn't afraid to do a task he deems "Must be done" in his mind. Once that happens, Lucian is always ready to jump off a bridge to complete a task or pull a trigger to a gun. Lucian also doesn't trust many, though if you can prove your worth, then maybe he will.

Secretly though, Lucian is really torn between his Anima and his Dreamer. What side should he choose? What would happen to him? He's all too worried about that. Should he (A) give up his morals and go upon the path of destruction in order to take his revenge? Or should he (B) let it all go and hang on to what's right? Shall he be known as "The Blessed Illumination" or the "Dark Illumination?"

(Section will be updated should he come to this conclusion.)

Biography: Lucian was born into a wealthy family in America. Born and raised under the personal care and love of his parents, Lucian was trapped in his own little utopia of a mansion. Of course, he never asked how did they got their wealth. In fact, his family owned a drug cartel right under the house (Literally. There is a long tunnel under the mansion that ran all the way to Mexico). It's only until after the age of 8 does Lucian's little bubble pop, as the SWAT team surged into the house. Obviously there were guards, but they never really loyal to the family. Like any type of Medieval Mercenary, they were in it all for the money. And so, the only protection left was the parents, who armed themselves in preparation in case this event occurs. However, everything went wrong for them, as Lucian, who hid in a nearby closet (in vain of course), watched as his parents were shot dead. The one who killed them was the leader of the squad of the SWAT team. Lucian remembered his face, and made it so that his face would be the only thing left in this world worth living for, so Lucian may kill the bastard.

Of course, fast forwarding to a more present event, Lucian had began to grow into a young man himself. Like a typical "youngster" he has everything he needs, a PS3, a smartphone, rock music, other kinds of music, etc. The only thing he doesn't have was his biological family, the ones he knows and loves so much. At this time, Lucian had moved through multiple foster families and homes in order to get one himself. However, this is the age in which he is able to live by himself, and now Lucian has a small apartment to keep his stuff in. His day job would be to sing at concerts whenever paid, and his night job.... well, he doesn't have a legitimate one. However, Lucian does study various types of weapons from the beginning of time to modern day, and he also studies on the government. Lucian is just waiting for that moment... the moment in which he has to choose a side.

Why they agreed to join the war: "I... haven't... not yet...."
Likes: Music, Singing, Weapon Training, Martial Arts, Video Games, World's Dumbest, the guitar, ecchi
Dislikes: The media, places with too much noise, reading, generally school, the government, the weak, those that can't do anything for themselves, the selfish, the violin

DREAMER ~ Asher Evans
Image

Age: 18
Gender: Male
Personality: Asher is basically a leader. You'd never see him take orders unless it would be for something out of his knowledge. Asher is strict when it comes to training something, and it does get on Lucian's nerves a bit. Asher also tries to save everyone inside a battle, and nothing would make him give up what he thinks is worth hanging onto. Asher isn't afraid to do what's right in his eyes, and he isn't afraid to fight if he must. Asher is usually one to hold back in a fight to focus on studying his opponents, then adjusting to the situation and getting in hits on their weak points.

Outside of battle, Asher can be Lucian's friend. Maybe that's why he's so similarly aged compared to Lucian. It's a fact that Asher can grow fond of some people, and Lucian is not an exception. Outside of any "Must-Do" tasks, Asher is laid back and likes to have fun. Usually, he tries to get Nero's influence off of Lucian.

Likes: Guitar, Swords, Lucian, Humans, Technology, other Dreamers
Dislikes: Nero, Anima, the selfish, those that won't help the weak, the strong who abuse their power
Weapons: Multiple swords (a total of six) and a handgun (rapid firing rate).

ANIMA ~ Nero Vince
Image

Age: 25
Gender: Male
Personality: Nero is extremely laid back. He's lazy, he doesn't want to do work, and usually, he's one to just sit down and lay upon the ground. When it comes to descision making, Nero would just choose the one that benefits himself. He's everything that Asher hates, as well as the opposite when it comes to choosing "love". Lucian would be the one who would chase after girls, and he's the one to get them. Lucian is extremely flirtious, to the point that both Lucian and Asher would punch him in the fact in annoyance (the Anima/Dreamer war ain't got nothin to do with it) if Nero even OPENS his mouth.

As Asher is a leader, Nero is just... well, manipulative. Nero usually uses words or fear to get over any obstacles in his path and back him up. Raw power and fear is the usual weapon for Nero, and he shows it, too. Usually, Nero would be destructive in battle, and that's just an understatement. Unless it's Lucian or any person that Lucian chooses not to hurt, Lucian WILL wreck anything and everything in the path of his sword/scythe.

Likes: Hot chicks, ecchi, weapons, fighting in general
Dislikes: Dreamers, Asher, the weak, love, "goody-two-shoes" stuff.
Weapons: One large, yet light sword and a gun-scythe (used seperately)

So begins...

A lone boy walked through the crowd. His hands held up his hood, and the grip was tight. Call him a bit shy, and he'd shrug it off. The boy didn't care; all he just wanted to do was get to a mirror, preferably a full-body one. Why? He'll see in a few moments. For now, though, a voice only he can hear calls out of him, not softly, just in an annoying way.

And so, Lucian got out of the river of people, sighing. "Damnit... I don't want to be bothered with this..." Lucian cursed under his breath as he walked to a mirror that satisfied his need. In the reflection, two other people that weren't really in Lucian's sides were in the picture, one of them acting like a conmplete idiot and doing the bunny-ears joke on Lucian. "Nero... Argh... No, I'm not dealing with this..."

"And why not? Because of Nero?" Asher- the silver haired figure asked.

"No, Asher." Lucian replied. "I just want to live here. I don't want to be in your stupid war." There was a hint of anger in his voice as he saw what Nero was doing next. Nero cracked his fingers, and literally reached through the mirror and grabbed Lucian by the arm. Sighing, Asher helped Nero, and together, they dragged the boy into the Mirror World. "ARgh!" Lucian yelled in frustration. "I don't want to be involved in this!" He yelled at the Anima and Dreamer.

Asher shook his head. "You know, it's rare that Nero and I both agree on ONE thing. When it regards you, you really should pay attention."

"Yeah." Nero said. "With us around, you can't be some kind of civilian in this war. You have to choose a side..." With a smirk, he added: "Preferably, mine..."

As if in sync, Asher and Lucian spun in opposite directions and thrust their feet out, doing a double spin back kick that hit Nero square in the stomach. "Anyway..." Asher said as Nero coughed and laid down on the floor. "There are 6 people right now near this area. 3 Anima, and 3 Dreamers. Of course, you didn't choose... yet. So you're going to spectate the confrontation. They didn't find each other yet, but it is only a matter of time."

Giving up, Lucian reluctantly gave in to the pressure, and followed Asher and Nero (after he recovered from the powerful blow) to the site of 3 Dreamers. All three hid out of site, and waited for the action to take place.

It first started out with 6 people. Half the group Dreamers, half the group Anima. They weren't FULLY aware of each other's presence, but they sort of knew that their enemies are in the same area. And it seemed that a new Anima had showed up, the trio observed. First off, the Dreamers. One took Asher way back to the Middle Ages, as he wore a full suit of black armor and a sword. Another had that rebellious feel to her, at least, to Lucian. Then it was another swordswoman, one that really caught Nero's eye. She seemed loyal, though Nero thought something else of her.

Then the Anima. Lucian saw that there was a narcissist, as that one Bearer kept slicing herself. Nero found another Anima to be quite possessive of his Bearer. The third reminded Asher of a wolf- hell, even the Anima himself is a wolf. It's just a matter of time before the two groups meet, and then the battle will start. The trio stayed silent, not wanting to be found out. They are here to watch, not to fight. But if someone else were to come here and find them, Nero and Asher would fight on behalf of Lucian.

And so it happened. One footstep was too noisey for another Anima, and Lucian turned around. "Well... It's my lucky day. Still didn't choose a side, I see. Ah, well. I can force you to." The Anima said, smirking. The Anima himself looked like Nobunaga Oda, the Demon King from the Sengoku Era. The kid himself looked to be Japanese, and like a stereotypical Anima, sadistic and wanting a fight. Immediately, Asher drew one of his swords, Lucian drawing a handgun. "Nero, you stay back." Asher said. "This is a battle against an Anima; we don't need an Anima vs Anima confrontation here."

"Hmph... Fine. Go ahead." Nero said as he leaned against the wall. This is a perfect opportunity to see what Lucian is capable of, after all that training and shit. Nero thought.

Asher clashed swords with the remnants of the Demon King, whilst the Bearer went against the Bearer, a sword against a sword. Suddenly, Asher was thrown back, landing with a loud grunt. Taking the opportunity, Nobunaga grabbed Lucian by the neck, choking him and lifting him up. Raising his sword to the boy's face, the Japanese warlord asked Lucian "Any last words?"

"... Welcome to the new age of guns, old man." Lucian managed to say as he withdrew a handgun- a Desert Eagle- at Nobunaga's face. "Your tactics, weapons, and your ability to strike fear is now obsolete..." A shot rang out, as the boy forgot to put a silencer on the said gun.

She tilted her head to the right slightly, away from Corvus' hand as she heard Ganien's request. Roselle glanced down at her hand before looking up at him and back again. A small frown flickered onto her face before being replaced with a smile. "Bite all you want, I don't mind." Roselle slowly lifted her hand up for him, showing the pink line that was the slowly healing wound.

At the sound of the gunshot from further away, she flinched slightly, the sound making her jump. Corvus immediately started looking around to see where the sound came from before moving closer to his human, resting his hands on her shoulders with his wings spreading out slightly as if to shield her.

"Tsh." Ganien sucked on his teeth. Killan sprang up growling. "North by Northeast." He said.
"What do you smell."
"Same thing you do. Two animas, one dreamer, and a human."
"Should we go check it out?"
"I don't care. It's not our hunt. Maybe the Dreamer is." Killan said while licking his lips.
"Hmmmm....." Ganien looked at Roselle and Corvus. "What do you two want to do. Stay and wait for the others. Or go and get into the action?" He asked as he took out a tooth pick and stuck it in his mouth.

A small pout formed on Roselle's lips, "no biting then? That's a shame, was looking forward to it as well." She glanced in the direction of the gunshot, thinking for a few moments before looking back at Ganien. "I don't really mind, either works for me. Corvus? What do you think?"

The Anima's hands moved from her shoulders, wrapping his arms around her instead, causing the young woman to tilt her head backwards and look at him. "Anything that means you won't get hurt too badly is fine with me..."

"That doesn't really help me with deciding." Roselle sighed softly before looking at Ganien again. "I'll follow what you decide to do."

"Killan. Lets go."Ganien said.
"Okay." The wolf said as he stood up on all fours. Ganien hopped on his back. Killan was a huge wolf. Being the size of a horse he coul carry about three people at most. "How far away? I don't want to get that far from the others when they decide to show up."
"Calm down cub. We're almost there."
As they continued on the more the smell of blood got stronger in the. When they finally arrived they saw a boy, a dead anima, an alive anima, and a dreamer.
"Grr. We can't harm this kid." Killan growled.
"Why not?"
"He's an observer. They're neutral so we can't harm them."
"Damn. What ever." Ganien said as he looked at the boy. "Listen kid. If you don't pick a side, something bad will happen. That's just what I've heard of course."

The Moderator held his neck as he dropped down, alive. The anima who choked him fell to the ground, dead. "Fucking... piece of shit..." Lucian growled.

"Good job, kid." Nero said nonchalantly. "Even though that's a fellow Anima, I'm proud that you actually are able to fight off an opponent."

"Whatever." Lucian spat at the Anima.

"Grr. We can't harm this kid."

"Why not?"

"He's an observer. They're neutral so we can't harm them."

"Damn. Whatever. Listen kid. If you don't pick a side, something bad will happen. That's just what I've heard, of course."

The trio turned to the source of the voices, and Lucian held the gun at the abnormally large wolf that was an Anima. "The hell? You mean I wasn't supposed to get hurt?" Lucian glanced at both Asher and Nero, who shrugged with an expression that said "Hell, it slipped my mind. Sorry, bro."

"Ugh..." Shaking his head, Lucian put the gun down. "Shoulda told that to the ruthless Japanese warlord of an Anima over there." Lucian pointed to the dead Anima lying on the ground, the pool of blood located under the head. "Then again, I don't think it mattered; the guy betrayed his own brother-in-law and broke many alliances in Japanese history." Lucian muttered.

Asher watched carefully the four newcomers. He especially eyed the wolf, who seemed to be the most dangerous of the group. Nero eyed the lady, then at her Anima. Smirking, he stood up straight. "What would happen if my Bearer doesn't choose a side soon, eh?"

Roselle barely suppressed a squeak of surprise as Corvus lifted her into his arms. The Anima crouched down before propelling him self into the air, wings spreading out before he started to fly after Ganien and his Anima. As the two stopped moving upon reaching the Moderator, Corvus softly landed, placing Roselle on the ground beside him. Once Roselle had gained her balance, she put on her fake smile and waved to the Moderator along with his Anima and Dreamer.

At the question, Roselle shrugged slightly. "I wouldn't know what happens, didn't even give my Dreamer the chance to persuade me to join his side." Her smile turned somewhat vicious for a moment as Corvus chuckled darkly, pulling his human close as he wrapped an arm around her waist.

"I'll tell you what happens cub. You know the rules right. Anima can't fight anima. Dreamers can't fight Dreamers. That is, unless the Admin lets that be. Now I want you to think of this. If your on no ones side. Then who's on your side? Hehehhe." Killan explained. "No one. Hahaha. You will be hunted by the weakling trying to pose a threat to you and as you just saw when that rogue anima attacked you, your dreamer went down. Why? Not at his full power. Right now I believe both are sharing power until you pick a side. Can you even use an element yet. Hehehe. It'd surprise me if you could cub. Don't worry about us. We don't hunt those that are week and can't pick a side because of his attachment to his Dreamer and Anima. Picking the Dreamer side is the only way we will hunt you." The wolf smiled. "And eat you."
"So we done here or what. These guys are boring. They had to use a weak little gun to kill a weak little anima. If the anima was smart he would've stayed with his human. At least then a human tool wouldn't work on him. Whatever though. I don't care."
"Agreed cub. We have a battle to attend. Let's go." Ganien hopped on the wolf and stuck his hand out to Roselle offering a ride. "You ever rode a wolf before? Their preety fast."

The winged Anima loosened his grip on Roselle, allowing her to choose whether to ride on the wolf or not. The young woman smiled softly at Corvus before nodding politely at the trio of human, Anima and Dreamer. Roselle stepped out of her Anima's grip, taking hold of Ganien's hand. "I don't believe that I have ever had the pleasure, but fast sounds fine to me." She tilted her head to the side slightly, "where would it be best for me to sit?"

"Behind me of course." Ganien said thinking it was obvious. "Unless you want to drive. Hehe. Then you'll sit in front of me. You see all you have to do is grab his fur. Twist it around you hands and move your hips so you don't fall. Just like a horse without a saddle." Ganien explained to her.
Killan growled. "Can we just go. If those guys don't show up I want to go back to the battlefield again. I'm getting hungry."
"Me too, but that's life. I have to wait to go home to eat so you have to wait."
"Don't make me kill you cub."
"Just eat that dead anima over their." Ganien suggested.
"No you fool. That thing probably taste like dung. I'm not touching it. Now lets go."
"Well are you ready. Whether you drive or not we'll go where ever you want. So... Battle ground or waiting for Others. What will it be?" Ganien asked Roselle.

"I wouldn't let me drive anything, first time I tried driving a car I ended up crashing..." Roselle mused quietly, "so I guess that leaves me sitting behind you." She moved closer to the wolf Anima before climbing onto him, quickly grabbing hold of Ganien to help keep her in position. She felt slightly unbalanced and didn't quite trust herself to remain upon the wolf's back once they got moving. "To be honest, I don't really mind what we do." She smiled at the man in front of her, "and you didn't get a chance to bite me earlier." A quiet giggle escaped her mouth, her eyes closing for a moment as her masochistic urge crept up on her again. Unconsciously, her tongue trailed over her lips at the thought of pain before she realised that she was doing and looked down quickly to hide the dark smile that was appearing on her face.

The Wolf Anima explained to Lucian. The Moderator stayed silent at this, even as the Anima left him to hunt down other Dreamers.

"Lucian. You alright?" Asher asked his Bearer.

"... I really do need to pick a side then, huh?" Lucian muttered. Damn... That really hit him. Nero and Asher thought simultaneously. Sighing, the Anima walked to the Bearer... and slapped him. "Oi." Nero said. "Are you going to watch or are you going to stand there and think about your life?"

"..." Lucian rolled his eyes in annoyance. "Fine...." The trio watched again as the events between the Dreamers and Anima play out. All the while though, Lucian is thinking about whether he should go to the Dreamer's side or the Anima's side.

Evelyn's eyes reopened and she witnessed her dreamer drawing the dark tinted sword known as Artemis, despite the rules said for no fighting on the grounds of the two sides (unless on the battlefield, of course). The male dreamer always kept two swords by his side, even if he preferred to wield just one. The two weapons were based on ancient Greeks twin gods: Artemis and Apollo. The darker tinted one was Artemis, whom was heavier than the average sword and was intricately decorated with blue and black; The lighter sword which seemed as light as a feather was Apollo, often having great speed for striking yet dealt less damage than Artemis.

"Anima, Eve. They're around and active.." He said before raising an eyebrow. A gunshot rang out and there was silence. "One eliminated.." That didn't mean he could sheath his sword just yet, there were still many running about and he couldn't risk Eve getting hurt before the War began. He could even sense the Animas and how close they were, unfortunately, some apparently were in pairs or groups already. This worried him further now. Suddenly the sound of Apollo being unsheathed rang and Spencer turned to look at the thief, only to glare lightly at his misbehaving bearer.

"Come on, there may be dreamers needing help right now..." Evelyn walked along, hoping not to find dangers herself. Spencer bit the insides of his cheek, chasing after her as he scanned the area for Anima and Dreamers alike. It was then that he spotted one of the most unlikely of people. A moderator. He didn't have much to say about them, he respected them in the least. However, he still wanted moderators to pick their side soon or face consequences later.
